What else can I say but I had the most amazing and splendid tour in Luxor 😊 My tour guide Khalid was just brilliant and informative guiding me throughout the tour in Luxor and arranging my stay in the hotel to hot air balloon ride and dining in a delicious traditional restaurant plus not to mention, he even took me to a gold factory to buy some beautiful Egyptian gifts 😊 I highly recommend Khalid and Best Egyptian Tour for as your tour company in Egypt 🇪🇬
Our tour guide Hani and our driver was so helpful and accomodating. Was always willing to help and tried to keep us cool in the desert heat. They always made us laugh and gave us lots of Egyptian History. Would highly recommend this tour !
Khaled is a terrific guide who knows all about the fascinating history of Luxor, and where to find the best local, delicious food
Great experience with Mr. Khalid our tour guide in Luxor and Mr. Michael our tour guide in Aswan..Everything is worth it we have a great experience.
The whole tour is great because all are organized. All our tour guides are very well knowledged especially Sir Khaled from Luxor and Sir michael from aswan. Really a memorable tour
The tour overall was good. Aswan and Luxor guides were informative. We had a very nice lunch overlooking the Nile in Luxor. What was not okay telling me that they would take us to a cafe to write a review before we were done for the day. It is okay to ask for a review but to demand one before ending my tour not okay!
Everything worked like clockwork. We saw everything on the itinerary and felt super safe. The driver was excellent. He drove well through all the streets and we felt safe enough to leave backpacks and souvenirs in the car as we moved from one location to another. Amazing visits to all major temples led by our guide Khaled, with his funny English Egyptian style he explained everything very clear. super knowledgeable guide. Lots of pictures, lots of history. Thanks Egypt Best Holidays !
This review is for Luxor part of this tour which I took. My guide was Khaled, thank him so much for his work. The tour organization was good; alabaster shop stop was insluded as well. The info Khaled gave was interesting with enough details. Additional option with a dinner on the boat with sunset was very cool with delicious food.
The 3 day Tour with Egypt Best Holidays was not what we expected at all. - Unfairly treated from Tour operator (Mina). - Not a Private Tour, joined other tour groups at attractions. - Improvised Guides with intention of selling further Tours. - Not all attractions visited in itinerary. - They took us twice to partnership shops in order to sell souvenirs to tourist (commission for them, ex. perfume store and rock alabaster store), not in itinerary. - Day 1 made up attractions to fill up the day. - Day 2 time in Abu Simbel very short. - Day 3 guide was pushing all times for selling further tours. - Relation Price Quality not worth it. Look for another operator. Overall was very poor. I do not recommend Egypt best Holidays.
We did multiple tours throughout the county with Egypt Best Holidays but this review will focus solely on this 3-day tour. THE GOOD - Our travel agent, Peter, was very responsive and accommodating. He deserves 5 stars! - The tours were private so you can see everything at your own pace (some guides will rush you tho). - The tour gave us flexibility to book our own hotels. We didn’t like any of the tours that had accommodations built-in to the package as some hotels we’re not to our standards. - Shout out to our driver Adel who was genuinely nice and made us feel comfortable. - Kudos to our guide in Abu Simbel. He was thorough! THE BAD - This travel agency works with independent guides, so you roll the dice on what kind of person you get each day. - Some guides smoked at every turn. We had a guide who smoked while we were on a private boat to the Philae Temple and another who smoked every time we stopped to take photos or got in temples that didn't allow guides. Some did smoke away from us but it's hard to ignore the smell inside an air-conditioned car. - What you want to see and what the guide thinks you should see doesn’t always align. Outside the Unfinished Obelisk, our guide told us that it was just a carved rock and discouraged us from going in. At the Valley of the Kings, our guide told us that King Tut’s tomb was the smallest and it wasn't worth seeing. We flew thousands of miles so nothing was too small or irrelevant for us to see. I don’t understand how guides think it’s ok to discourage you from seeing these places yet encourage you to visit places like papyrus, oil, spice or carpet-making establishments to "enhance" the tour. It’s uncomfortable because these places always offer you a drink, so you feel awkward leaving without buying anything. - Some guides prefer to explain things in advance. At Hatshepsut's temple, our guide gave his explanation then told us that he was going to pray and wait for us while we go take pictures. We couldn’t remember everything he said. Also, we were left to eavesdrop on other guides who we're pointing out things to their tourists that our guide didn't. ADVICE FOR TRAVELERS - Don't expect to have the same tour guide throughout the three days - Ask the travel agency how much EGP you need to bring each day for temple entrance fees - Ask for non-smoking drivers and guides if you are sensitive to smoke, have asthma or traveling with children - Don’t let the guides discourage you from visiting sites you want to see
We travelled Egypt in winter and let me tell you that yes it is a desert place but it does get COLD. In the early morning it is COLD and in the evening it is COLD, but during the day it warm. Overall Egypt is a nice country to visit. The Nile river cruise is a relaxing but quite boring at the same time. It says it leaves on the same day at a certain time but actually departs 4hours after the initial set time. All the temples that need to be visited you have to pay the entry fee. One tip would be for any teenagers to bring a photo or student card along for discounts, which is half the price of the normal price. The food of the cruise it not that great but bearable. Would recommend going to Abu Simbel very beautiful and interesting. Everyone wanted money and the cruise wasn’t clean
My Egypt tour best day was with Khalid ! He was what everyone needs ...10 /10 ! Egypt Best Holiday Company. From a solo Canadian. 2019.
From pick up to drop off you were there every step of the way. Your wealth of knowledge was A+ Your storytelling painted a picture of beauty, greatness, intelligence and innovation of a great people. On behalf of my Tapusoa from New Zealand we thank you for taking care of us and making our experience the best of them all, your hospitality exceeded expectation.
I contacted Egypt Best holidays since i booked the tour and they followed up with great advice, impecabble service and experience and outstanding flexibility For starters i wanted the tour backwards starting from luxor and they cómplied, were always very puntual and accomodating ,luxor was great, aswan very easy but abu simbel was espectacular!! Even thou it meant waking up at 2 am for 3 a.m. pickup and 4 am convoy yo the site that is 3 hours awayfrom meeting point We had our plane departing asean at 3 abd they arranged for Someone yo intercept us coming Jack from abu simbel to take us to the airport. Strange thing that in the airport they had us waiting for an hour before we could pass trouhg security but we get to the boarding on time and just had great things to say about Egypt Best Holidays and Peter who was my main contact and khalid who was in the rest of the places Thank you very much for the experience of a lifetime¡¡ Patricia frech
We were guided by Magdy who was very friendly and eager to help us in all our needs. Although I would advise to personally choose the hotels to avoid any disappointments. Apart from that the tour was a 5 star!
As advertised this tour really does allow you to combine the best of independent travel with the safety and security of your own driver and guide. It also gives you the freedom to choose your own accommodation, and I was fortunate to stay in fabulous places in Aswan and Luxor. The guides were very helpful and knowledgeable. There are two sets of guides, one in Aswan and another in Luxor, and they take you to and pick you up from the train that takes you in between the two cities. You also get a say in your itinerary from a couple of options. This was exceptional value for money. The guides also take you to places you can buy art and essential oils, but you don't have to buy. All in all great for a solo traveller like me, and would also work for couples
