1 Night Nile Cruise From Aswan To Luxor

I had a wonderful time visiting the Philae Temple after a hectic morning and delays from the previous tour. Not only was Mary, the guide, super accommodating to the adjustments to make it work for both myself and others on the group, she also was incredibly knowledgable and informative about the history. She struck the right balance in the level of history and context provided, without which I would have struggled to appreciate and understand this site. But she was also a good humoured guide. The tour was an appropriate length especially following an already jam-packed agenda of my own making where I started with Abu Simbel! Thank you Mary and team!

We had a wonderful excursion visiting Philae Temple, the High Dam and the Unfinished Obelisk. Everything was very well organized and we really enjoyed the experience. Our guide, Marie, was fantastic. She was very kind and friendly, explained everything clearly and told us many interesting facts about the history and monuments. She was also very attentive and made the whole visit enjoyable and relaxed. Everything was great from start to finish. We highly recommend this excursion, and especially Marie as a guide!

I took the tour for philae temple. My guide Heba gave me this tour and she was fantastic!!! First off I was so happy it was a woman. As a solo female traveler going around Egypt it felt refreshing. She helped take amazing pictures as well. She was very kind, friendly, and knowledgeable of ancient Egypt. I really recommend this experience.

Heba gives very good explanations on the Philae temple. We had a very nice visit. She takes good care of the guests and is a lovely lady. You can rely on her to learn about egypt history and culture in a fun and relaxed way. She is very good with children.

Entrance is atypical and gets a green tick. Staff also a green tick as well as sun deck and bar. Rooms need a bit of TLC but overall ok. The real issue is the buffet for all meals. Very bland if this is a 5* cruise. The worst is the coffee. You have to have good coffee which would have prompted me to give 4 rather than 3 stars. Nescafé in sachets is not acceptable and even the coffee machine on the sundeck has Nescafé!

Our tour guide Ahmed Amer had been very kind and supportive since start of the tour and he was very informative. Also took special care to ensure we cover all important sight seeing’s in short duration

The boat was very well equipped. The staff, especially the wait staff, were very sweet and attentive to all our needs. The bedroom was pretty spacious and clean so was the toilet. We also enjoyed the deck and pool area. The tour company was even kind enough to add a complementary night to our initial booking without any additional costs :) Our only and main complaint was the food!! We didn’t have high expectations coming on the boat but we were so disappointed. The food wasn’t fresh and tasted so bland! On top of that, our first day on the boat my friend got sick because of the food. They definitely need to ensure the food is appropriately stored and cooked to prevent passengers from getting sick!

We had an excellent excursion with a very competent German speaking guide. As a egyptologist Amr explained us in depth all the details around Abu Simbel. On our way we learned a lot about egypt life and people. We highlighly recommend this tour

The cruise was great—delicious food, good service, and smooth check-in. The room was comfortable with a beautiful view of the Nile. The cruise deck was lovely too, with a pool and loungers. The only issue was that the driver to take us to our hotel in Luxor never showed up. Aside from that, it was a very nice experience.

Tour guide Rasha is so kind.Her explanations were clear and accurate, and she kindly answered all our questions. She also gave us free time and time for photos, which made the experience very satisfying. The car was air-conditioned, so the transportation was very comfortable.

Me and my friend had a quite attentive tour guide, Eman, who escorted us in the Philae island temple in Aswan. Her guide was really informative and the experience all together was amazing.

I went to Philae temple with my guide Heba. It was really Nice. Heba was amazing and kind. She took the time to explain to me things about the temple and after she gave me some break to take pictures . She was calm and kind. It was a great moment. I m french and Heba explained in english. The trip was amazing. Gerges gave you a welcome gift at the beginning. Heba was very nice, she explained lot of things about Egypt, Assouan and the civilisation. We visited the Philae temple and everything was good. She speaks English very well and slowly so it’s easy for foreigner to follow the explanations.

Mo is an excellent and knowledgeable tour guide. He gave us an exceptionally tour experience , 5 star treatment. We were very comfortable. 以下是2025年1月搭乘2日1夜郵輪的經驗，希望大家避雷。 1.船等級不透明 nice tour旅行社提供standard、deluxue、luxury三種等級，我購買的是deluxe ，但三種等級介紹完全不透明，任由旅行社洽當地船商安排。我這趟被安排的船，我認為完全不值，且強烈懷疑只是standard的船，因為同船上其他遊客告訴我他們只用1/10的價格上了同艘船、住同樣房間，我認為旅行社溢價過於誇張。 2.價格 向nice tour反應後，得到的是可以讓我們再多住一天，我後來從其他遊客的心得（各大平台、google評論）回覆中發現這似乎是一貫的手法，事實上這裡賣的價格就是2天甚至更多天的郵輪，甚至我們下定單時即收到nice tour告知可以多住一天。nice tour把一般三天或四天的商品行程包裝成兩天一夜販售，再把「多住一天」當作贈品送你，藉此吸引因為時間限制想找短時間郵輪的遊客。 3.小費 網站販售說明註記費用包含一切費用，事實上這是錯誤的資訊，我認為有商品不實之嫌。登船時船商有告知下船時可自由心證給予小費，並給了一個信封和介紹櫃檯小費箱。我在下船時，認為我已付高出他人約10倍價格上船，旅行社說明欄位又註記無小費，且我在船上經歷到好的服務（如協助換房間）已個別給工作人員小費，故決定不再額外給小費，但要離開時被船商要求給予小費，（船商按人數、天數計算，告訴我該給多少）。船商當下因為我們不給小費強行扣留住我們行李不讓我們下船，我建議船商和nice tour溝通，並當下聯繫nice tour，旅行社確實表示我們不用負擔費用，旅行社嘗試和船商溝通，但仍失敗，我還是給了船商小費才能下船。nice tour 無法協助問題處理，船員行為非常魯莽，造成我身心恐懼，這不就是強盜嗎？ 4.強行給nice tour五分評論 事後nice tour願意當面返還我們小費金額，但因為在盧克索時間有限，我最終沒有拿到小費退款，我告訴nice tour重點不在於小費多少，而是船等級不透明、網站商品資訊不實，以及強扣行李事件，真的非常可怕。 我希望我們經驗讓遊客知道，但在上船時nice tour的人員就請我們先給五分評論，當時我疏忽並同意幫忙評論了，導致我無法修改內容，現在這個評論是隨行友人幫忙填寫。 Experience of a 2-Day-1-Night Cruise in January 2025 – A Warning to Avoid Disappointment 1. Lack of transparency in ship categories Nice Tour offers three categories: Standard, Deluxe, and Luxury. I purchased the Deluxe package, but the descriptions of these categories were completely unclear, leaving the local cruise operator to assign the ship at their discretion. The ship I was assigned to was absolutely not worth the price, and I strongly suspect it was just a Standard-level ship. Other passengers on the same ship told me they had paid only one-tenth of what I did for the same room. I believe the agency’s markup was outrageously excessive. 2. Pricing issues After raising my price concerns with Nice Tour, they responded by offering an extra night’s stay. I check other passengers’ review from google, Viator, and TripAdvisor, then I realized this seemed to be a common tactic. In reality, the prices they charge are equivalent to those for a 2-day or even longer cruise. In fact, when I initially booked, Nice Tour had already informed me that I could extend my stay by an extra night. Essentially, Nice Tour repackages standard 3- or 4-day cruise itineraries as 2-day-1-night trips and then presents the “extra night” as a free bonus, targeting travelers who are looking for shorter cruise options due to time constraints. 3. Hidden tipping fees The website states that all fees are included in the price, but this is misleading information and could be considered false advertising. Upon boarding, the cruise operator mentioned that tipping was voluntary and provided an envelope along with a tip box at the reception. When I was about to disembark, I decided not to tip further, as I had already paid about ten times more than other passengers, and the tour description clearly stated that tips were not required. Additionally, I had already given individual tips to staff members for good service, such as assisting me with a room change. However, when leaving, the cruise operator demanded a tip, calculating an amount based on the number of people and days. When I refused, they forcibly withheld my luggage and wouldn’t let me leave the ship. I suggested they communicate with Nice Tour and contacted the agency myself. Nice Tour confirmed that I was not obligated to pay any extra fees and attempted to negotiate with the cruise operator, but they failed. In the end, I had no choice but to pay the demanded tip to get my luggage back and disembark. Nice Tour was unable to resolve the issue, and the cruise staff’s behavior was extremely aggressive, leaving me feeling both physically and emotionally threatened. Isn’t this essentially robbery? 4. Forced to give Nice Tour a 5-star review After the trip, Nice Tour agreed to refund my tipping fee in person, but due to my limited time in Luxor, I ultimately did not receive the refund. I told Nice Tour that the real issue was not the tip amount but the lack of transparency regarding ship categories, misleading information on their website, and the incident where my luggage was forcibly withheld—these were truly terrifying experiences. I wanted to share my experience to inform other travelers, but during boarding, Nice Tour staff asked us to leave a 5-star review first. I carelessly agreed to write a positive review at the time, which meant I was unable to edit it later. This review is now being written by a friend who traveled with me.

Friendly and informative guided , she can speak english clearly to understand for a tourist. Heba advice me more useful tips to travel in egypt. I really apprechiate experience best time with her.

Ahmad Sony was an excellent and very knowledgeable tour guide who helped us show a lot of historic places in Aswan. He also took us for a half day tour of the Nubian village. He patiently answered all our questions and guided us every step of the way. I would highly recommend him for anyone who wants a knowledgable, friendly and patient guide.
