Best way to tour privately with Matteo’s expertise and knowledge of English to get us non-Italian speakers an amazing experience. Professional, prompt, convenient and friendly. We had the ability to venture safely on our own and then meet back up at desired pick up locations. Would use his team in the future though we had our experience with Matteo directly. Both locations unique and worth the trip out of Rome for a day! Restaurant recommendation in Orvieto was an experience in itself.

Matteo was prompt, professional, knowledgeable and friendly. We do not speak Italian, therefore, his ability to communicate in English afforded us special tips and experiences, while giving us the opportunity to safely wander the villages on our own. He booked a special lunch/wine tasting in Orvieto that was perfect! Loved it! I would seek out his team next time we visit and we hope it is soon! It was one of our favorite days in Italy. Both locations are wonderful and unique. Very scenic.

The experience was extremely spiritual, the life of Saint Francis and getting to see the new Saint Carlos was very touching to us. I loved our driver Matteo. He gave us great recommendations for a lunch place in Assisi it was extremely thoughtful of where he dropped us off and picked us up. I think it’s important for people to know that Assisi is a hill town and these streets are very steep. Been a very enjoyable time and I would recommend this tour to anybody.
Mateo was very friendly, patient and spoke good English. Very informative, encouraged us to take our time, never rushed, very accommodating.
Went out of his way to pick us up and drop us off at our hotel. Overall great experience!

Jun 26, 2026, 11:56:15 AM Our experience was excellent. Our driver/guide, Matteo arrived precisely on time in a beautifully appointed car. Along the way Matteo suggested a stop at the Basilica, Saint Mary of the Angels, which was an incredible stop making the trip even more worthwhile. We strolled Assisi relaxed and un-pressured by time constraints. Our second stop was Orvieto a charming uncrowded hilltop village with spectacular views and history. I would gladly book this trip again and request the same driver/guide. We enjoyed great conversation along the way with incredible cultural insight

This was an absolutely wonderful time! The ride was beautiful, the car was air-conditioned and had bottled water and the driver was so nice. He made us reservations in the second town for lunch and walked us through a lot of the churches we were going to see before we got there. We couldn’t have asked for a better day. We very much recommend this to other people.
