Despite the rainy weather, Nasri helped create a very memorable experience. There was lots of great conversation and laughter. Nasri let us take our time - pole pole - at each location without rushing us. This gave me plenty of time to finally learn how to do backflips off the swing at the hot springs. During the hike to the falls one member in our group had shoes that were not great in the rain and mud ( he was basically slipping the entire time.) Two kids joined us and brought him walking sticks and Nasri took off his shoes and let him use them so he wouldn’t fall as much. The coffee tour was culturally fun and I’m not a fan of coffee but I actually bought some for myself because it was so good! He was also our driver and due to a delay waited 7hrs for us at JRO airport! Although each experience was enjoyable I do not think I would have loved it as much as I did had Nasri not been our guide. He has a huge heart and I’m happy to leave TZ with him as a friend❤️

waterfalls, which are around a 40-min walk away. On the way, your guide will inform you about the culture of the Chagga, village life and explain the surrounding fauna and flora. The views are truly breathtaking, and with some luck, you will see the summit of Kilimanjaro. When you reach the waterfalls, you will see that they are more than 80 meters high. After having enjoyed the scenery, you slowly return with your guide to Materuni village, where you will experience a traditional Chagga lunch. You also will have the opportunity to taste our local banana beer – definitely not to be missed! Coffee tour But that’s not all. Next, the coffee experience awaits you. Here you will learn how coffee is cultivated, dried, roasted, and further processed. You will also be invited to help with the grinding of the coffee, which is traditionally accompanied by Chagga songs and dances – a fun way to immerse yourself in the local culture. Before you say goodbye, you can savour the coffee you made.

Overall fun and diverse tour. My fave was the hot springs, but I love clear warm water. Hike to waterfalls was nice, with some information along the way. Coffee tour felt a little rushed and routine, but fascinating to see coffee processed in this primitive low-tech way. The lunch was surprisingly tasty and scrumptious.
We had such a great time on this trip. Yusuph had such great energy and arrived promptly to collect us. He shared lots of interesting information with us and even helped me to locate a charger for my phone. He took some amazing photographs for us that we will treasure forever. The coffee making was great fun and it tasted amazing. The cute dogs were an added bonus and it was lovely to see the local people taking great care of them. The hot springs were a perfect way to finish off the day and relax after the breathtaking hike. Thank you for a great trip Yusuph, you were the best tour guide we have had!
Great day exploring Kilimanjaro area with Yusuph. He picked us up on time and was knowledgeable throughout the day without being overbearing. I would highly recommend this affordable tour to anyone visiting Tanzania
We had enough time to enjoy this trip, first we got picked from Arusha drive to Kilimanjaro we hike to the waterfalls we got time to make our own cup of coffee singing with coffee boys. High recommended to do this tour when your in Arusha or kilimanjaro
Our guide was amazing and took care of every little detail throughout the day. Not only was he kind and knowledgeable, but he was respectful and made my friends and I (all young females) feel incredibly safe. He brought bottled water to ensure we had enough for the hike, brought us bananas from a local family, and washed out muddy shoes while we swam in the hot spring. I would definitely recommend!!
First of all, I should mention that the advertised price for this tour is 83 pounds but I was charged the equivalent of about 115 pounds per person (we were two people) paid in local currency (I am a resident). Despite the higher price, I booked this company because it was recommended by a friend. I assumed we would be getting first class treatment for that price, but in the end I feel I was taken advantage of... Plus side: The waterfall and hot springs are definitely worth visiting. The coffee tour was fun and the food was really good. The guide was friendly and knowledgeable. Negative side: We were picked up 1/2 hour late with no notification and the driver/guide had been changed. The car was literally falling apart - seat belts didn't work, back windows didn't work, A/C blew dust on us and our food when it was turned on and never got cold... front windows were kept open instead, but this meant we got completely covered in dust. The car also sounded like the engine needed repairs. Overall, this tour is worth doing, but I'd suggest a company that puts more care into your transportation and doesn't overcharge you.
Assad took us to these gorgeous hot springs and waterfalls. Had the most relaxed and fun afternoon with great company. Assad is a great driver and was always happy to stop at places that we wanted to stop at for either pictures or to buy something from a road stall. I can't recommend this travel agency enough! Assad will take great care of you and make sure you have the best trip with everything that you need and by always making sure you feel comfortable. He is very good at answering any questions you might have and will always get back to you very quickly with the information you need. I will continue to use Pazuri Porini safaris for my other trips and already know that they will all be magical and worth every penny.
A full day from 7am pickup to 5pm. Our driver Ngereza was polite and friendly- organised directly via contacting Assad on WhatsApp they arrived and I paid cash in the morning. A lot of driving on bouncy roads. The path to the waterfalls is very slippy, and the hot springs could be very busy, though the actual tour operator was excellent. Good amount of food for lunch
Assad from Pazuri porini safari is very good guide we enjoy every moment with him. He explains a lot of things in materuni village he make us smile. We enjoyed a lot in hot-spring Hakuna matata
We had two amazing days with our guide Assad First Day was Materuni waterfalls coffee tour and Chemka springs, where we had a nice swim and some Fish massage. Next we had a Wonderful safari with Pazuri porini safari again! Good comunication, good service and good price!
Perfect trip to Kikuletwa Hot Springs thanks to Assad. He helped us during our whole trip to Tanzania. He drove us and helped us everytime we needed something. He is very nice and very dedicated. Good vibe and unforgettable moments thanks to him. Would recommend him to anyone visiting Tanzania. Thank you
I thank the company Pazuri porini safaris for making this day memorable. Everything was perfect: the waterfall, the coffee tasting with the whole team, the traditional cuisine, and the hot spring also despite the world there was. Thanks to the driver and guide too! I highly recommend!
