Anton was the true hero of our safari. From day one, he felt less like a hired guide and more like a close friend showing us his home. His instinct for wildlife behavior is remarkable: we were always in the right place at the right moment, positioned for a clear yet respectful view of the animals. He stays in close contact with other guides across the parks, so we never missed key sightings, and his calm professionalism made us feel completely safe at all times. No question was ever too small for him. Saying goodbye after a week brought genuine tears to our eyes; our safari simply wouldn't have been the same experience without Anton behind the wheel. L&J

Itinerary
Day 1
1
After breakfast you will drive to the Serengeti National Park, enjoying the beautiful high lying farmland of Karatu and the Ngorongoro Conservation Area along the way. Leaving the highlands behind, you will enter into the heart of wild Africa, the Serengeti National Park with its endless plains rolling into the distance, as far as the eye can see. You will head to the central area of the park, known as the Seronera, one of the richest wildlife habitats. In this part of the park you will visit the Seronera River which provides a valuable water source to this area and therefore attracts wildlife well representative of most of the Serengeti's species. You will arrive in time for lunch and afterwards, enjoy an afternoon game drive in the Serengeti National Park. Later in the day you will have dinner and your overnight stay in the Seronera Camp [nguchiro camp site].
Day 2
2
After breakfast you will depart at the campsite at 8:30am en route to Lake Manyara National Park with a picnic lunch in hand. After a full-day game drive you will make your way to Twiga campsite for dinner and your overnight stay. Stretching for 50km along the base of the rusty-gold 600-metre high Rift Valley escarpment, Lake Manyara is a scenic gem, with a setting extolled by Ernest Hemingway as “the loveliest I had seen in Africa.” The compact game-viewing circuit through Lake Manyara offers a virtual microcosm of the Tanzanian safari experience. From the entrance gate, the road winds through an expanse of lush jungle-like groundwater forest where hundred-strong baboon troops lounge nonchalantly along the roadside, blue monkeys scamper nimbly between the ancient mahogany trees, dainty bushbuck tread warily through the shadows, and outsized forest hornbills honk cacophonously in the high canopy.
Day 3
3
After breakfast, early in the morning, our driver guide will drive you from Lake to Serengeti National Park Set out for the endless open plains and stunning skies of the Serengeti. A good-looking four-hour drive, full day game drive together with late evening game drive. Dinner and overnight at Seronera Campsite [nguchiro camp site].
Day 4
4
Go on an early morning game drive in Serengeti National Park, You will then go on a full-day game drive with a picnic lunch in hand. Dinner and your overnight stay will be at the Seronera camping site. As enduring as the game-viewing is the liberating sense of space that characterises the Serengeti Plains, which stretches across sunburnt savannah to a shimmering golden horizon at the end of the earth. After the rains, this golden expanse of grass is transformed into an endless green carpet flecked with wildflowers. There are also wooded hills, towering termite mounds, rivers lined with fig trees, and acacia woodland stained orange by dust.
Day 5
5
After breakfast enjoy an early morning game drive along the Sogore River circuit, which loops into the plains south of the Seronera River. This is a good location for spotting lion, gazelle, topi, ostrich and cheetah. The Visitor Center, close to the Serengeti Seronera Lodge and public campsites, is well worth a visit after this morning game drive. This nicely designed center offers some interesting wildlife displays as well as a gift shop where you can purchase information leaflets and maps of the area. In the afternoon, follow the Kopjes circuit going counterclockwise around the Maasai Kopjes. On this tour you have the chance to view more lion and some formidably large cobra. Dinner and your overnight stay in the Seronera Camp.
Day 6
6
After breakfast, depart to Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Stopover at Olduvai Gorge which boasts history dating back to the dawn of time. It was here that the anthropologists, Dr. Louis and Mary Leakey discovered the skulls of "Nutcracker Man" and "Handy Man" both very significant links in the chain of human evolution. Arrive at the lodge in time for lunch and then descend over 600m into the crater to view the wildlife for a half day safari tour. Dinner and your overnight stay at Ngorongoro Simba Campsite.
Day 7
7
arly breakfast, proceed directly to the Crater floor for a 6-hour game watching inside the crater the sight to big five animals which includes Lions, leopards, elephants, buffalos and maybe black rhinoceros with picnic lunches down the crater at Ngoitoktok spring here you will also able to see other big mammal includes hippopotami, giraffe, warthog, baboons, and birds. After about 6 hours ascending the crater rim to Arusha with an en-route game drive via Mto wa Mbu village in the evening reach your hotel in Arusha town. At the end of your tour, we will drop you off at the airport.

Honestly, the experience was incredible, at every level. The team took us from Kili airport to Arusha, and then to Tarangire-Serengeti-Ngorongoro. To us, 7 days is the ideal length of visit, since you really need to spend time in Serengeti to get the full experience and have the chance to see all the animals. It was not too crowded, with a very quiet atmosphere, which helped a lot to enjoy the trip. I want to thank Franck, our guide, and Lucas, our chief - Franck for all the tips and fun facts, and Lucas for the amazing food. They treated us really well and we had great time with them. 100% recommend, Asante Sana guys !
I am a safari amateur. And this one was definitly the best. Between Tarangire, Serengeti, Ngorongoro, both our Guide Frank and the Chef Lucas were amazing. Things were easy and smooth, we ate great food, saw all the animals and had a great rest. I can only recommand Suricata for your next trip!
We first heard about Suricata through some friends who had done a safari with them a few years ago, and based on their recommendation, we decided to book our trip with them. We’ve just come back, and it was an amazing experience! We booked a 7 days trip - Adventure Camping Safari. From the very beginning, the Suricata team was professional, helpful, and flexible. While planning the trip, they took the time to understand what we wanted and helped us create an itinerary that suited us perfectly. Communication by email was always quick and easy. Once we arrived in Tanzania, everything was taken care of, and honestly, they exceeded our expectations. But what really made this safari unforgettable was our guide, Anton. Anton is kind, friendly, considerate, and incredibly skilled at spotting and tracking animals. He always did his best to make sure we saw as much wildlife as possible, often taking less crowded routes and avoiding the same spots so that every day felt different. You can tell he genuinely loves his job, and his enthusiasm makes the whole experience even more special. Thanks to him, we also learned a lot about animal behaviour and the ecosystem. We should also mention that he is an excellent driver. He was always careful and responsible, and we felt safe throughout the entire trip while still managing to get everywhere on time. We spent an incredible week with Anton and are very grateful for his professionalism, knowledge, and great sense of humour. He played a huge part in making this trip so memorable. We would also like to thank Jeremiah, our chef. He prepared delicious meals every day and made sure we had a balanced and varied menu throughout the safari. He was a bit shy—like a leopard hiding in the bushes!—but always kind, professional, and ready to help. We really appreciated all his hard work. We would definitely recommend Suricata to our friends and family and would happily travel with them again.
Max was the best tour guide we could get! He was patiant with us, answered all our questions, and guided us with stady hands and experience. We saw all the Big Five and so many other animals, because he knew when and where is the best place to be. Thank you for the Suricata Team for organazing out safari vacation, and thank you Max to execute it perfectly. Beautiful accomodation, great chef, breathtaking view, cute animals and friendly hosts.
It was a wonderful trip with Max, would absolutely recommend! It was my first safari, and Max was an attentive and very experienced guide. He helped to spot many animals, explained their behavior, answered any random questions about the animals. He organized our days, showed us a great (and not so touristy!) massai village. We managed to see all animals from the Big5, and many more. It was a once in a lifetimes experience, don’t hesitate to book with him!
Our 7 day adventure Safari did not let us down. We believe this is the right way of exploring the most famous Tanzanian National Parks with the Serengeti as absolute pinnacle. Unless you are time or budget restricted, take your time and do the 6 or 7 days tour to see all the beauty the parks have to offer! Our guide Max and chef Jeremiah were absolute stars. Max is very patient, punctual and knowledgeable of the parks and the animals. He always has a plan! He will take you off the main roads to the areas with high likelihood of finding Cheetahs, Leopards or Rinos, everytime with success! You can also sense this is his passion. He gets as excited from spotting animals as we do! We also learned he is a celebrity in the Serengeti, everybody knows him and he is always eager to help everyone out! Jeremiah is a bush-cooking wonder. The variety of meals he puts on the table each morning, noon and evening is astonishing and goes far beyond your typical lunch box or bush cooked packaged spaghetti. Everyday a fresh meat or fish dish with plenty of rice/potatoes and veggies as well as now and then a bonus surprise dish :)) Both of them made sure every single detail of the trip was thought trough and went without a hitch. This also goes for the entire Suricata crew we have met along the way (Lewis, Bryson, Samson, Maleo, Mandela, etc) are friendly and very helpful, they form a real team when it comes to driving together, spotting together, cooking together, setting up camp together. It is truly a remarkable bunch of people. Once more a big thank you to everyone who made our dream of seeing all these animals (including the big 5) up close , in real life come true and withness the great wildebeest migration first hand. These truly are memories for life! This is purely based on the safari experience, utterly PERFECT. Outside the Safari, there are two things the company needs to address: 1. The Jevas hotel in the city center is not what safari-tourists are looking for. There are plenty of better alternatives on booking.com (e.g. Songota Falls Lodge) that make you feel at home and give you a place to relax in connection with nature before and after the Safari. 2. The employees in the city were unprofessional in the briefing. The main concerns were payment, tips and reviews. Not the experience which is a shame. It would be nicer to go through the itinerary again and what to expect during the journey.
We can recommend Suricata Safaris 100%!!! Everything was perfect. We did a 7 day camping safari and it was fantastic! The booking and communication was straightforward and the tour was very well organized! Our guide was just great! Very friendly and very helpful. He told us many interesting things about the animals, nature and Tanzania and brought us safely to every place. Our cook was great and the food was delicious! The food was fresh and very varied every day! Thank you Suricata for this unique experience!
The experience was great from the beginning! We were guided by Ezekiel which was so patient and helpful. He made his best to give us an amazing experience, explained a lot about wildlife and culture. Besides he’s an excellent person, making the experience very pleasant. We were also accompanied by James, a amazing cook, that did a numerous of delicious dishes, so good seasoned and presented. The program we were offered was perfect, the car conditions were good and everything exceeded our expectations. At the end of the tour, since our flight had changed, we were offered a hotel room for a shower and some rest before the transfer to the airport.
We took the 7-day tour with Ezequiel and James! The experience with Suricata Safari was great! They were very helpful and kind throughout the experience, from scheduling to the end of the Safari. The tents we used at the camp were quite comfortable too! Ezequiel is a very charismatic, kind and fun guide! He is very intelligent and was always willing to reach the best spots to ensure the best view of the animals. We got some great photos and saw the big 5. I definitely recommend Ezequiel as a guide! James cooks wonderfully! Every day we had fresh, healthy, tasty and very filling food. Furthermore, he is very kind and made all the difference in our experience! You will definitely be surprised by it! In short, I highly recommend Suricata Safari! I wish you much success!
Suricata was recommended to us and we really loved it. Everything was well organized and we could really enjoy our time. The camps we stayed at were great, in the parks we had always enough time to watch the animals and get some good pictures, the guide (Elias) could give us very good Information about the aninmals and plants, we always had lots of tasty food (thanks to Musa). We never felt like we had to rush and could really enjoy our time. Absolute Highlight: Dinner w/ elephants walking near camp during sunset.
We had a really great Safari and all the organization was very smooth. We stayed on great camp sites; our Driver/Guide was very experienced and our chef prepared tasty fresh meals every day. On the Safari, we spotted all of the big 5 and many many more… unforgettable memories :)
Overall amazing experience. We were lucky enough to see all the big 5. Damien, our guide, was funny and drove really well. He made sure we found as many animals we could in our time with him. Our chef Salim was amazing. Made me feel like I was at my grandparents place. Plenty of delicious food, too much for me to finish.
I am extremely satisfied with the experience with Suricata Safaris. My boyfriend and I have just completed our 8-day private tented tour through Tarangire, Serengeti, and Ngorongoro. The agency's impeccable organization was evident right from the beginning. Our guide, Fredrick, proved to be not only qualified and competent, but also deeply passionate about his work. He turned each game drive into a truly exciting adventure and was able to answer all of our questions and curiosities. Chef James added a touch of luxury to every meal with his delicious dishes, spoiling us with pizza for dinner and popcorn for appetizers. The professionalism and attention to detail demonstrated by the entire Suricata Safaris team made our safari an unforgettable experience. I can't wait to book with them again in the future! Absolutely recommended!!
it has been an amazing experience. we had a 8 days safari tour, from tarangire national park to the north of serengeti. everything went great and as planned, our guide Frederick has been such a great teacher about wildlife and tanzanian enviroment, and our chef James have cooked such a delicious dishes. we saw so many animals, hunting scenes included. we slept in tents in public campings, that has been a great experience, included sleeping with a group of lions around the camping. 100% recomended.
The Safari with suricata was really amazing. We expected it to be a camping trip but we were treated like kings. Everything was organized so perfectly and the guide James and the Chef Salim were so careing and attentive. I can highly recommend this company and for sure the crazy guide James and the chef Salim! We learned so much by the experience of James and his patience to explain everything about the animals, the plants, philosophy and so much more. Everyday we were surprised by salims delicious food and fell to sleep happy. This was the most amazing experience I had in years.
We had a 7 days private Safari with Suricata as a couple and it was magical. Our guide James was amazing! He was not just a guide but also a biologist, a philosopher, a friend and so much more. Our Chef Salim prepared fresh dishes and surprised us every day with the most delicious meals. They made us feel really special and thanks to Suricata we had a wonderful experience in Tansania.
One of best trips of my life - honors to Freddy (our guide) and Tito (our chef). Unforgettable experience finding the big 5 Organization: Very quick response from Hilary via WhatsApp to Organize an individual private safari for 4 guys. Highly recommend the camping safari which includes guide and Chef in an amazing environment between buffalo’s and other wild animals Safari guide: His name is Freddy, he has incredible knowledge about the wildlife and Tanzania, he had an answer to every question, he is an amazing courteous guy. He helped us finding so many animals…. Chef: His name is Tito, he made breakfast, lunch and dinner. Every day he created something special, we have never expected such good food, it was absolutely delicious… Wildlife: We saw about 100 lions (hunting, eating, …), 6 leopards, 5 cheetahs and munch more incredible sceneries… I have been to Namibia and South Africa but Serengeti / Ngorongoro/ etc exceeds the other places by far
This Safari was one of my best experiences ever. From A-Z everything was perfectly organized. With Freddy we also had the most friendly and knowledgable guide from whom we not only learned much about wildlife but also about culture in Tansania. Every meal by our chef Tito was outstanding and exceeded our expectations by far. And yes, we saw the big five :) Highly recommended tour operator!!
A Dream came true and thanks a lot to Suricata Safaris, who made an excellent job. To learn more about Arusha and Tansania we booked the Arusha citytour. Our guide, Swaleh, showed us everything we wanted to know. It's worth it! The day after we started our 7 day camping Safari with Lewis, our personal and the best guide. We loved every single day of this Safari. Lewis showed us the impressive wildlife and we learned a lot of the wildlife behaviour! During the safari we always had very good and freshly prepared food from our chef, Pius. A special thanks to Lewis and Pius, you both made sure we had an unforgettable time! We highly recommend Suricata Safaris!
We have dreamed of seeing the African wildlife for a long time. We became aware of Tanzania through friends of ours and then of suricata through a recommendation. We booked a 7 day camping safari and loved it from the start. All questions were answered quickly beforehand. And the safari itself is super organized. The cars are very good and comfortable and the campsites are well equipped. We had a great guide who showed us the impressive wildlife. And at every meal we had a fantastic meal. The food was delicious, always freshly prepared and varied. Special thanks to Lewis as our guide and Pius as our chef. You both were amazing! We can clearly recommend Suricata Safari.
The company is super organized. We had a last minute change of the arrival airport and we knew just after take off without the chance to warn them. At the arrival our suricata driver already figured out and was there waiting for us! Floridi, the guide, was really professional (very good English) and so nice he became a friend! We had a chef waiting for us at the campsites that cooked very tasty and abundant meals! We met also other suricata guides and all of them seemed very nice guys. I really recommend suricata and will contact them again for a future safari!
Honestly can’t think of anything bad about this fantastic experience. Our guide Josen and chef Ben were both amazing. Josen, our guide, was fantastic he was super friendly and more than happy to answer any questions. He was extremely patient and took onboard what our family was most excited about and would always stop even if we had seen something before. He stopped many times to look at baby Zebras as he knew me and my sister found them super cute! He is extremely knowledgeable and told us many interesting facts about not only the animals but also things we saw around the town. He would often find pictures of the animals to show us the difference between them to help us to spot them. If he didn’t know something he would kindly look it up in book for us. If we ever thought we had spotted anything he would stop and check for us even though he probably knew it was an Antelope which we kept mistaking for Lions! He was a great spotter always finding the best animals and would always find us the best spots to see the animals without harming or distressing the animals or blocking other trucks’ views. Josen was always polite - constantly checking in with us, opening the door for us, carrying our bags. He also went out of his way to allow us to try different things - stopping to get some sugar cane and then showing us how to eat it later and also getting us some local honey which he knew we had particularly enjoyed. Couldn’t have asked for a better guide. The food was delicious. Ben, our chef, was always friendly even when he has gotten up at 3am to make our lunch! He managed to cook us a huge variety of amazing dishes especially considering it was at a public campsite. Both me and my dad are vegetarian and we were amazed by all the different foods he managed to cook for us - not one of them was the same or made with fake meat. None of the meals were repeated and always contained super fresh fruit and veg. We were astounded when we had our first lunch and Josen brought out loads of freshly cooked hot food. Especially compared to many other companies who had provided sandwiches. We had thee hot meals a day and were extremely impressed every meal at Bens skill. Like eating at a restaurant everyday except in the middle national park! We definitely had the best chef! All the staff we met were super polite. It was like luxury camping - our meals were all freshly made for us, our tents were put up for us and everyone would always offer to take our luggage for us. We also had a really interesting tour around banana an rice plantations, local wood carving and painting shops and saw the way of life in Tanzania. We weren’t expecting this and were offered this within the Safari. We were extremely lucky to see so much - many Lions including lots of young cubs, Elephants super close (even in our campsite) Cheetahs and week old cubs, Lions, Crocodiles and Hyenas hunting, the Wilderbeast migration and even a Leopard cub! Thanks so much for making my holiday the best it could be.
Things I liked: 1.Our guide Josen was absolutely 🤩- couldn’t of asked for more. He got us up close to all the animals but not intruding or making them scared. He drove at a perfect speed so we could spot all the animals and we weren’t going really slow. He spotted lots and lots of animals we wouldn’t of seen much without him. He told us about all of the animals and plants gave us books about them. He helped us out with our bags. Josen was kind and patient he new that me and my sister loved all the baby animals so stopped every time and waited till we were ready to move on. I definitely recommend Josen as a guide!!! 2. Ben are chef was absolutely brilliant 🤩 - he has a kind and friendly atmosphere around him. The food was amazing couldn’t of been better, I was full after every meal. At lunch time, we had a hot meal freshly cooked, whilst most other companies provided a sandwich box. It was amazing have a three course dinner; which was all cooked on coals. My favourite food was the all the fresh fruit and the flavourings of the meals were amazing. I loved the chocolate cake!!! In my opinion I think we had the best chef!!! 3. We saw loads of animals including lions, giraffes, elephants, leopards, cheetahs and many more. We were lucky to see a lion lie down next to our truck, cheetah cubs and elephants walk right next to our truck!!! Things I didn’t like: 1. NOTHING!!! Thanks for making my holiday the best it can be🤩!!!PH age 12
The safari was fantastic in terms of the variety of habitat and the range of animals and we had a great time as a family. What made it though was our driver and guide, Josen, and our chef, Ben who were both outstanding. Josen, was engaging and informative and enabled plenty of time for photographs. He was always friendly, polite and relaxed. He was also a brilliant spotter seeing animals which we would never have seen otherwise; notably a cheetah and their cubs, a lioness hunting and a a lioness with her cubs (amongst many others). He engaged both our teenagers really well. Ben provided cooked meals throughout of a restaurant quality which was outstanding in a camping kitchen and catered well for two vegetarians. He was always happy and polite. The variety was great with no repetition of dishes, good portions and something for everyone. The parks included Tangarire, Lake Manyare, Serengeti and Ngorogoro crater; all fantastic in different ways. We were lucky enough to see pretty much everything you could hope to see in terms of animals and habitat. On a more practical level. The vehicle was in good shape. Simple things like drinks and regular toilet breaks were always thought of. The tents were always swiftly put up. The campsites were what you would expect for camping (in particularly spectacular locations at times). The company offered transfer from the Mount Kilimanjaro airport to a modest but perfectly reasonable and secure hotel iand then after the safari back to the hotel with an inclusive transfer to Arusha airport. A couple of side trips were appreciated as we had the luxury of a bit of time over 7 days. This included a cultural tour of a village which was engaging and did not patranise the local people; including local agriculture, a traditional drinking place and a an art cooperative - there were chances to buy good quality goods but no pressure to. Separately visiting the Olduvai was interesting and humbling in terms of learning about our human origins. A deposit in advance was expected which was a bit daunting based mainly on trip advisor and safari.com but in retrospect we have no regrets. I very rarely get excited to this degree about experiences but this was experience we will really remember and treasure. If you want a brilliant safari - I would choose this one
A truly unforgettable experience. I can’t praise this company, our Guide, Josen and our chef Ben, enough. A family trip of a lifetime with a 12 and 14yo. From initial research, we had great communication from Hillary, answering numerous questions professionally and quickly. He understood this was a big decision. Was able to provide information regarding the children but also special dietary requests. We were met as advised at Kilimanjaro airport by Mr T who was extremely welcoming and friendly who took us to our hotel for the night. We had requested a budget safari, so we were not expecting a top of the range hotel. The hotel met our expectations: it was clean, comfortable bed and basic washing facilities.. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. We were met the following morning by our guide for the week, Josen. Josen is an extremely experienced, knowledgeable and friendly guide. He provided us with lots of information on each of the national parks but also general information about the history and make up of Tanzania. He was very responsive to all our questions, answered them clearly and was never patronising. He would often back up his answer with information in books he had available. He adapted the tour to suit our family needs and would regularly check in with us. The amount of time he provided to us, was amazing. We were often up and out the park before sunrise to see the best of the viewing. There was never any sense that anything was too much. We felt very safe and secure with his driving; he was able to get us to places to see some amazing wildlife whilst being respectful to the wildlife and environment. Our Chef Ben was happy, friendly and a truly amazing cook. Was had three full meals a day, catered for 2 vegetarians and we never had the same meal twice. I am sure we were the envy at the picnic sites; others were opening a box of sandwiches, fruit and crisps, whilst we were unpacking a freshly made hot meal. The meals could have easily been provided at a restaurant, and Ben was able to cook all this at a camping site. The freshly made cinnamon bread was amazing. We had requested a budget camping safari, and as with all camp sites you will get a range of standards and facilities. We were told in advance that the campsite we were staying at in the Serengeti had no electricity; it was not a surprise that there was no hot water. You balance out the more basic facilities with that fact you are camping in the middle of one of the most amazing national parks in the world. It took us a while to decide on the length of Safari. 7 nights was perfect. We saw a range of different national parks and conservation areas, each surprisingly very different from each other. I would fully recommend going for the 7 day family camping safari. I 100% recommend this company. Thank you Suricata, Josen and Ben for a holiday we will never forget. I will be back to climb Kilimanjaro!!
This was such an amazing holiday and was the best safari so I would suggest to use suricate safariss
Oh man where do I start, this was the experience of a lifetime. I was expecting to see a couple elephants and zebras while wallowing in the African sun, but Ezekial found a plethora of zebras, scouted out cheetahs and leopards, and educated me on all there was to know about the ecological landscape of tanzanian wilderness. Although in places with leopards and other rarer animals where many other safaris were around, ezekials elusive driving techniques got us to the best spots to see these said animals. Wouldn’t have gone with anyone else, thank you suricata and Ezekial.
Suricata Safaris was amazing! They did such a great job taking care of us from the moment we arrived. Our guide, Ezekiel, was so knowledgeable and kind. He went out of his way to make us comfortable and to make sure we had the most memorable experience. He knowledge of the animals and wildlife was incredible. We were able to see all the Big 5 and more! It was an experience our family will never forget!
We decided to leave for Tanzania two weeks ago, and after researching various local agencies and requesting different quotes, we decided to entrust ourselves to Suricata. We always received quick, clear, and detailed responses from the sales representative, "thanks Richard." Upon arriving at the airport, one of their collaborators was waiting for us, also kind and helpful, who took us to the hotel and asked us, with documents in hand, to pay the balance for the safari. The following day we left for our 6-night Safari, accompanied by our guide Pascal; it was exceptional! The entire team that works for Suricata was kind, helpful, and respected the schedules set day by day. The food is homemade "breakfast, lunch, and dinner," good and plentiful (most other tours have lunch boxes); dinners were accompanied by wine, and at lunch, fruit juice or Coca-Cola. We slept in a tent; the tents were always ready upon our arrival with a mattress, sleeping bag, and pillow. The vehicle was always ready every morning, clean, and with water for every passenger. Animals? We saw everything and more! Pascal's last name is Wikipedia; for every question, there was an answer. The only negative experience was one day when it rained and a little water got into the tent, getting our backpack wet. If you are traveling in the month of July, I recommend bringing a heavy jacket and some warm clothing with you, because at night the temperatures drop significantly, down to 5 degrees. Regarding the visit to a Maasai village, Richard had informed us that it would be something done specifically for tourists, and that the price was 15 dollars. We decided to go anyway; in the end, it costs 20 dollars "they say it's used to buy water for the community." It is interesting to see their dances and their homes; what we didn't like much was that the children "around 3-6 years old" had to recite the same things for every tourist. At the end of our safari, we took a tour of some shops; you can haggle, but the starting prices are very high, 8 dollars for a magnet. Do we recommend Suricata and Pascal? With our eyes closed! An experience we will remember for the rest of our lives.
We did this three-day camping safari with our children aged 9 and 15. We had a great time and saw so many animals. Our guide Steve was very attentive, friendly, kind, and helpful; he accompanied us on this beautiful adventure. We absolutely recommend it
A beautiful experience in the Serengeti Park where we saw lions, zebras, gazelles, warthogs, and hyenas… our guide Steve was extremely knowledgeable, very friendly, and kind.
Suricata has taken care of all the logistics since we arrived at Kilimanjaro airport. The next day our guide Amiri was on time at the hotel to start our 7-day adventure through the heart of Africa. During the 7 days he took care of everything so that we had the best experience. He searched all the animals carefully, stopped every time I wanted to photograph, gave all the explanations about what we were seeing, was patient and courteous. His work raised the name of Suricata and surely contributed to me indicating the Enterprise to friends.
Unforgettable – our 7-day safari camping trip This safari was a dream! Everything was perfectly organized from the first moment – every pick-up, every transfer, every stop was the perfect fit. And then we started: Seven days of nature, animals, adventure and a lot of passion from a great team. Our guide Rocky was just fantastic. With peace, knowledge and an incredible sense of the animals, he led us through the national parks. “Pole pole” – slow, slow – that was his motto. He never let us rush, but gave us time to really observe and understand the behavior of the animals. So we not only saw the Big Five, but also experienced many special moments that will accompany us for a long time – moments that brought tears of happiness to our eyes. Rarely have we met such warm and nice people. Our expectations were more than exceeded – we not only went on a safari, but also got a real insight into the life, people, culture and nature of this special country. Culinarily, we were spoiled every day – thanks to Jeremiah, our wonderful chef. Soup, main course, dessert – sometimes fruit, sometimes cake, sometimes pizza or fries – every meal was lovingly prepared and simply delicious. And all in beautiful places in the middle of nature. In the evening we sat by the campfire, watched the sunset, munched on popcorn and later looked at a glittering Milky Way. It hardly gets more magical. We were also impressed by the comfort: The Jeep was well equipped, with comfortable seats and charging facilities for cameras and mobile phones. And the tent – surprisingly cosy! Even for tall people enough space, with a comfortable lounger and a warm sleeping bag. Communication with the organizer was overall good. Sometimes you didn’t hear anything for a day or two – that’s probably quite normal there, and you really don’t have to worry. On site everything was super thought out and went smoothly. Our conclusion: This safari was one of the most beautiful trips we have ever made. Full of nature, full of real experiences and with a team that is passionate about it. If you are looking for something special, this is the place
It was a wonderful experience. We have the best guide, Amiri. First, he is experienced. He always finds the best place to see wildlife in the first place, and introduces us to a variety of animals, plants, birds, and localities. Moreover, he is thoughtful enough to notice the different preferences of each of us, such as different animals and plants. and guide us in finding the best way to shoot. Finally, it is our desire to come to Tanzania to see animals, but the human connection in this land is paramount. Amiri proved that with his actions, when a car breaks down, everyone unites to solve the problem. We are delighted to have Amiri as our guide and we will always treasure the wonderful memories and precious friendships between us on this Trips.
The service of all members of the Suricata Safari team has been of the highest quality. At all times with a smile, a lot of professionalism and excellence. Both Richard and Mandela have been part of the group themselves, we have had fun and, above all... two excellent people!. Thanks for making us feel part of Tanzania! Beautiful country and wonderful people!!! Hakuna Matata!! ❤️❤️❤️
We have chosen the 7 days formula with camping. This allowed us to see a wide diversity of landscapes and animals in the different parks, while leaving us enough time to stop and quietly observe the behavior of the different animals. Our guide, Freddy, was friendly, attentive and mastered his subject perfectly. He is also the most reasonable and respectful driver we met during our stay. The meals, prepared by Tyto, were hearty and delicious. This is all the more remarkable because he made the effort to cook vegetarian menus, and all meals were made in a camping kitchen. In conclusion, I would definitely recommend this safari with Suricata. The only possible recommendation is to take a 7-day tour only if you are particularly interested in animal behavior (like us!). Otherwise, it may seem long and a shorter formula may be more suitable.
We had a unique private 7-day safari with Suricata Safaris. The organization from booking to the end was perfect and we felt super cared for at all times - we would therefore recommend Suricata to anyone. All days were always very varied and we would always spend 3 days in the Serengeti. Our guide has given us unforgettable moments with numerous animals. Not only did we all see Big Five, but we also had many great and very private observations off the beaten track. Of particular note is the incredibly good, authentic and lovingly prepared food. Every day, our chef always gave us freshly cooked meals - and no lunch boxes, as with many other providers. All the camping equipment and the vehicle are in great condition. We will definitely come back!
The safari was absolutely awesome. We were very pleased with Chef Chess and our guide Fred. Fred was very sympathetic and answered all our hundreds of thousands of questions. His English was excellent and he knew an incredible amount about wildlife. Highly recommended. I would book the tour again at any time. It would be necessary to expand the toilets, kitchens and dining rooms and renovate them again. The toilets were far below the African average in terms of cleanliness, functionality and hygiene.
