This has been an unforgettable experience. We have experienced Tanzania in its truest beautiful light. The riding was absolutely incredible and tailored to our level of capabilities by our amazing guide Lazarus. Alpha organized everything with impeccable precision including climbing Ol Doinyo Lengai. The accommodation was spectacular. I couldn't recommend this company enough. The team at Motorbike Safari Tanzania was incredibly on every front. The guys were helpful, accommodating, and so friendly- it was easy to forget that we hadn't been friends for years. The diversity of terrain, from savannah to the mountains, made every day seem fresh and new. And the Tanzanian people are so warm and welcoming. As we ended each day, the lodges welcomed us with a song, a cold drink, and an escort to our rooms. And what's more, the food was amazing. This was a lifetime experience, but it won't be as I plan to do it again. It has my highest recommendation!

I just completed a solo one-week off-road motorcycle safari in Tanzania, and it was an absolutely unforgettable experience! From the moment we set off, I was blown away by the stunning landscapes, abundant wildlife, and the sheer thrill of riding through some of the most scenic and challenging terrain in Northern Tanzania. My guide was exceptional—highly skilled, knowledgeable, and passionate about both motorcycling and the local culture. Whether navigating rugged trails, spotting wildlife, or introducing me to remote villages, he made sure every moment was both safe and exhilarating. We rode through breathtaking savannas, crossed rivers, and encountered everything from giraffes and elephants to Maasai herders going about their daily lives. This trip is perfect for anyone who loves off-road riding and wants to experience Tanzania beyond the usual tourist routes. The mix of adventure, culture, and nature was just right, and I can’t recommend it highly enough. Booked this super last min as a solo traveler and it will be one of the best memories of the trip. Originally signed up for the hot spring tour but he was flexible and ended up doing a one day safari tour instead. We seen zebra, ostriches, giraffes, antelope up close. Would definitely do it again!

In short, do it! I showed up not realising that the dirt bikes were manual. Never having ridden a manual bike before, I was worried. But after some simple instructions from Alpha and a trip around the block, I got the hang of it and Moi and I set out on our adventure. And how amazing it was! We saw herds of gazelles and dazzles of zebras up close, then came across a flock of vultures feeding on a sheep's carcass. Moi drove safely all day but we still had incredible amounts of fun off road traversing northern Tanzania. Animals, rural communities, lush green plains, barren brown plains, we saw it all. Then we visited the hot springs (bring swimmers) followed by a delicious lunch. Thanks guys!

After watching "Africa On Two Wheels" on YT I had a feeling of what to expect. What I got was so much more: The most incredible adventure of my life. My warmest thanks to Moi (my tour guide) and to Glory (my tour manager) who both were amazing. Bikes, safety gear, accommodation, food, drinks etc.: 10/10 Service level: 10++/10 Recommendation: 100% P.S.: I didn't know until too late that they could have combined my motorbike safari with a jeep safari.

What a daytrip! Goodluck (my guide) has been amazing this whole journey. We saw lot's of animals, the offroad ride was spectacular and really fun. The hotspring was beautiful as well. Would recommend anytime!

We had an amazing safari with our guides Goodluck and Moi! They guided us through the beautiful landscape of northern Tanzania. The accomodations we stayed in during the nights were very nice and luxreus with great food and pools to relax in after a day of driving. I’d really recommend a motor safari with this company if you’re looking for a more adventures safari!

We had a wonderful time on our motorbike safari. Being experienced motorcyclists on the tarmac, this mostly off road route provided us with new experiences and a nice dose of adrenalin🤩 The communication upfront was amazing, we thank Glory for her clear, friendly and helpful instructions and information We were situated somewhat far from Arusha, so the team had offered a motorcycle dropoff at our accomodation in Moshi, so that we didn't need to travel far with a taxi or public transport. Talking about a service level of 10/10. The trip itself was very good. We went over fun backroads, experienced exciting local traffic, and once arrived in West Kilimanjaro national park, we encountered a variety of beautiful wildlife, among which zebras, giraffes and a gorgeous elephant🤩 Lunch at Simba farm was so tasty and fresh, well chosen lunch spot! Both Good Luck and Khalifa were amazing guides, leading us into the right directions for wildlife, letting us play around a vit with the motorcycles and full with fun and jokes. Thanks everybody from Motorbike Safari Tanzania for making our safari happen. Would 100% recommend, so until the next time! Cheers!

I did a 2-days trip. The hotel was outstanding. What an amazing moto experience ! A unique way to see the country, the people, animals ! What a blast !! All type of terrains !

Me and my friend Frank, decided to have a Day trip Ride after a busy week of working at Arusha. It was a great experience having a Day trip motorbike ride as the city we live we don’t have much of time and adventurous terrains to ride. I recommend for short trips or long trips you may ride with Motorbike Safari.

I just completed a full day trip out of Arusha with Motorbike Safari Tanzania. They’re a great team catering for all levels. We were challenged with the different types of terrain but saw amazing sites. The plains between Kilimanjaro and Mt Meru are a playground for the off-road bike enthusiast. Highly recommended if you wish to see the beauty of this area up close and personal. Thanks team!!!

This is the best activity one can possibly do in Arusha. There's no better way to truly get a glimpse of arusha and kilimanjaro. The bikes are in great condition, the tour guide is great and the off road trails, the landscape and the thrill just makes it worth it. If you're a bike lover, nothing beats this in Arusha.

Incredible experience! If you enjoy motorbikes, this is a must do. Alfa and Good Luck were top notch guides. This is not your boring slow, single-file tour. You have freedom and can be challenged. They take many pictures and videos while you're riding to capture great moments. They provide all the gear, head to toe and have great bikes (2019 Hondas in excellent condition). Highly recommend!!!

If you are looking for something out of the ordinary, to be able to ride on the most incredible surfaces, to experience wilderness on your body, to be challenged every day on your bike, then you need to go here!! We were a group of 9 people from Norway together with Alpha and his team, driving through parts of Tanzania. We had 9 driving days and it was over 2,000 kilometers on the bike. I was one of the unlucky ones who had an accident and ended up with a broken collarbone. Fortunately, it was at the end of the journey, so it didn't ruin the trip. Alpha and his teams mastered this like professionals, so that I felt safe and looked after :-) There was a slight difference in driving skills in the group, but this was organized by alpha's team, so that everyone was taken care of. Good work guys!!!! So the question is: Will I return? Of course :-)

Great ride from Arusha to the hot springs! About 3 hours to get there through dirt roads and back country with few or no other vehicles. 2 hours to get home because I was more comfortable with the bike. The guide, Khilifa, was great. He knew the best places to ride. We found some places to hit turns, small jumps, and fun tracks. Lunch was really good grilled chicken and fries at the hot springs. The springs were crystal clear with little fish that ate at your feet and a rope swing. 100% would recommend.

We took on the 3 day tour from Arusha to Lake Natron. It was the first time my friend and I rode on a bike yet alone ride for 3-5 hours in a set distance but the guides at Motoro Safari Tanzania took the time to train us for two days before the trip and it was awesome. They provided us with all the gear needed for the trip so we felt really safe. The experience is one my friend and I will remember for the rest of our lives! The scenes we got to experience on this trip and the friendships we made with the guides Alifa & Subzero will stay with us forever! I highly recommend taking on this amazing safari to Lake Natron! It is freaking stunning out there and you will also get to see animals along the way too 🤩🤩🤩 thank you so much to Alpha and his entire team 🙏🏽

We are a tourism company specialized on Moto trips ubicated in Colombia South América. Our 5 day trip was excellent, you get to know a litlle part of the real Africa, the guides are great and and they adjust to your needs, the lodges did go beyond Our expectativas, if you want an adventure trip the one we did was increíble; the landscapes were magnificient, and the town markets that we pass y gives you a good test of Tanzania. Thanks to Alpha, Maurine, and Our guides Mou and Khalifa.

This was the experience of a lifetime. My husband and I had only ridden motorcycles a few times, but our guide Khalifa was fantastic and patient with us, slowly moving up our level of riding. We did the three day trip to Lake Natron and the landscape is spectacular. There is a trip to a waterfall on day two so it’s good to bring water shoes if you have them or sneakers that you don’t mind getting wet. The lodge is beautiful where we stayed both nights with great food and a pool. I am vegan and both the lodge and our guide were very happy to accommodate it. Overall, I cannot recommend this tour more highly. It was very easy to communicate with the team, including Alpha who arranged everything and Maurin who set us up with all the gear we needed in Arusha.

Trip of a lifetime. Twaleeb was very response and easy to work with and his right hand man Alif was extremely helpful in getting me set up with the right bike and gear that I needed. You won’t find a better experience in all of east Africa if you’re a rider.

We went to Tanzania in February for a trip to Usambara, Serengeti and Ngorongoro. The trip was delightful, absolutely amazing, with so many animals, landscapes, perfect lodges, a fantastic drivers and guides! I want to THANK Alphas and his Team very much! Thank you again Asante!

I am very glad that I decided to take part in the trip with this company. It was a great experience. Each day was a great adventure that I will remember until the end of my days. In Tanzania, far from my family home, I met real friends. Family atmosphere and friends for life. Professional approach and attention to the smallest details. Unfortunately, I was unable to take my tour because of Covid, but I'll write a review of my experience with booking. I had numerous questions and concerns from crashing on a tour in Vietnam and my minimal off-road moto skills. All my concerns and my many many questions were answered and any additional info I was looking for was provided. I put down my deposit and weeks later the world was shocked by Covid-19 and my trips were canceled. It took some time, but Alpha Malinda paid me back in a series of installments my FULL deposit. I did have to chase down part of the funds, and there were issues with Paypal but the integrity to repay a remote customer he's never met during a pandemic should be acknowledged and considered for others when considering booking a tour. Thank you.

What a spectacular experience it was. Enjoyed every part of the enduro motorbike adventure I booked and opted for. The bikes were in good condition and gave me moments that will forever be cherished and live to tell the tales. For me as, an enduro biker(not advanced), the route was pretty interesting. Savannas, muddy sections( as it was kind of rainy seasons), rivers, remote villages are absolutely incredible. Been to Tanzania a few times and, thanks to Motorbike Safari Tanzania, this time around it has felt like the first time I deeply fell in love with this country even more. I rented a motorbike for 10 days. I had several problems with the bike because it was in a bad condition and very old ( but still 45US$ per day). The bike didn't even had a key or speedometer ,... The owner of the company act very untrustworthy and unprofessional. He didn't pick up the phone and didn't answer any messages when he should give us back our deposit. Avoid this company , you will have a bad experience for sure.

Wonderful 4 days of motorcycling around Arusha, Same, Lushoto and Massai Steppe completely off road, on trails, gravel roads and some tarmac sections in between. We (me + guide Alphy) passed several stunning landscapes... dessert, savanna, mountains and the great plain "Massai Steppe" where many Massai live. In the last section we got to see a nice selection of wildlife: zebras, gnus, antilopes and beautiful blue birds. Riding was quite challenging – especially the ascent to Lushoto... absolutely outstanding motocross experience ! Alphy is a great companion, scout and mechanic, always trying to find the best solution for the trails, food and accommodation. Best accommodation was in Mambo: a wonderful hut with an unforgettable view down Lushoto mountains. Highly recommended adventure – I hope to come back for the Lake Natron section and beyond...

We had an amazing 2 day trip to West Kilimanjaro !! We had fun and it was very safe even though one of us never ride a bike before. It was an unforgettable experience. The equipment and motorbike were new !! Everything excellent, totally recommended !!!

We spent 6 days on the road from Motorbike-Safari-In-Tanzania, 6 unforgettable days for a lifetime! From the welcome at the airport to the return, filled every day with activities until the last minute. Great accommodation and delicious food. Lots of laughter and jokes with guides who were our help for everything ..from gluing boots to every other help on the way. All with laughter and a good vibe. We passed all the terrains, we visited lakes and waterfalls, savannah and mountains. People along villages and roads, tribes and all the wonders of life that takes place in "ordinary Africa". So travel with them, you will get the most from the employees, a.k.a. guides, and that is the most important thing !!!!

My husband and I had an amazing trip with Motorbike Safari Tanzania. We had a lot of opportunities to observe stunning views and fascinating landscapes. Guides were friendly and it was nice to travel and spend time with them. As for us, advanced enduro bikers, the route was pretty intresting. Savannas, sand sections, dry rivers, remote villages are absolutely incredible. It was our first trip to Tanzania and, thanks to Motorbike Safari Tanzania, we fell deep in love with this country. As we were absolutely impressed by this tour, we are planning to have another trip with Motorbike Safari Tanzania next year!

Tanzania has not had a problem with Covid and so I was able to travel there for a few weeks in August and I chose to go on a motorbike trip with Alpha's company. This was not my first time in Tanzania and this is a country I have come to love deeply but it was my first time touring by motorbike and I cannot imagine a better experience. Alpha was always available to answer all of my questions and ensured that I had nothing to worry about during my trip. It can be hard to get away from the normal tourist sites but doing a motorbike trip with Alpha ensures that one gets to do just this. Such a wonderful way to see the Tanzanian countryside. This was a last minute trip but Alpha made it seamless. Touring through villages and meeting locals was a huge highlight for me and I definitely encourage others to take at least a 4 day motorcycle tour before or after safari. Everything is provided and planned for you and it was a seamless adventure which allowed me time to just relax and enjoy Tanzania.

Unfortunately I was not able to do the tour due to the COVID pandemic motorbike safari Tanzania & Alpha were great and couldn’t stress enough, paying the 50% deposit for 10 days tour was refunded. When the pandemic took hold, it was Alpha that got in touch with myself informing me of my options and stated that if we wished we could hopefully still join them this year, postpone till next , or if we wished, get a full deposit back. Due to other commitments next year I took the option of getting my full deposit back. No hassle , money returned that same week. I can only wish Motorbike safari Tanzania & Alpha all the best in the future, and hope sometime soon I can join them on one of their tours. They are 110% solid & trustworthy.

I rented a dirt bike from them. They were great and the bike was awesome! I got farther off the beaten path than I bargained for a couple times haha. It was a lot of fun and I recommend this as a way to travel independently. Bring something to carry extra gas if you are traveling long distances! The sights and the paths to ride on were unbelievable! Thank you, guys!!

Holy Crazy! This was the experience of a lifetime! Alpha was able to coordinate a 7 day motorcycle safari that started doing a 360 degree tour through the villages around Kilimanjaro and then then finishing on an amazing, intimate journey through the Serengeti. He planned the entire trip including all lodging, food, activities, etc and could not have done a better job!! We were a family of 6 with my wife and I, three boys aged 16, 14 and 12 and my daughter aged 7. He was able to provide premier motocross riding gear (most brand new) and provided for all members of the family. He even told us we could keep it (we didn't have any room in our luggage however). All the motocross bikes were also brand new and the safari jeep was very clean and spacious. I don't normally post reviews but could not resist after all they did for us. I highly recommend !!

Amazing Adventure! Motorbike safari tours were flexible with our itinerary and allowed us to add an extra day onto a 12-day Safari. Hotels and camping were of excellent quality.

AMAZING. I'd expect this was going to be a great experience but this day exceeded my expectations enormously. First of all, even though the company is based in Arusha, and my Bed & Breakfast is in Moshi, this was not a problem for Twaleeb. They just brought the bike to Moshi, included in the price!! But then the day starts: Words can't describe what I've seen today, pics can not show, because it's too much. I feel like I've made a motorbike journey of a year in one day... Every kind of landscape you can imagine, I rode it today. In this motorbike trip you'll see so many things which you won't see when you're in a car or walking. For example you even ride through villages where not even a car can come and which is way to far for walking. Many thanks to Twaleeb for this experience and to Alphy and Moi for the excellent guidance. They'll adjust completely to your skill level. If you want to speed up, they give you all the freedom to do it, or if you want to slow down, stop to eat something or take a picture, you have total freedom! This experience will stay with me for the rest of my life!

Starting a beautiful new Honda CRF 250 at the first day and thinking that I will miss the power from my 690 and 790 back home for several days.. Wrong thoughts! These bikes are perfect for this adventure! Going up, going down, going far, going fast, going slow, these bikes are perfect for all purposes and bikers. I was really satisfied with this low weight bike running 10 km among rocks upside a hill. Less is more! This trip is well prepared! There is no road signs and you will be in the middle of nowhere in a moment if you were alone! But these gentle guides don’t need a GPS to find the tracks and they take care of you. They have been here several times before and done a lot of scouting to find the best tracks for you. These guides can also be mechanics and make your dinner of a goat if required. This is not a “single track”. There is alternatives if required due to weather or other circumstances. Independent of your driving skills, this group of guides and landscape have something challenging and exiting to offer you. Several guides and a service-car make it possible to customize this trip to your requirements on a short notice. You will see a bit of the daily life in Tanzania along the roads, in the villages, maybe visit a school, going offroad, crossing rivers, driving in sand. Didn’t miss anything. My best bike experience so far! In addition to great bike-driving: This trip is a great opportunity to see a bit of this beautiful country and friendly people. There is always a smile and someone waving friendly. People seems to be very happy and that is not because of money. Having lunch in a village or among rocks in the mountains, joking with locals on their bikes, seeing bikes transporting everything and meeting Maasai people are great memories. I can really recommend this adventure!

In January 2025 we started with 9 motorcycles and 5 people in the escort vehicle for a 5 day adventure. We drove 5 days from Arusha - West Kilimnajaro- Pare Mountains- Usambara Mountains – Masseist Step and back to Arusha. We returned home full of impressions. It was a fantastic time. We got to know Tanzania from different sides. The food was plentiful and very good every day. The whole team was always present for us, always approachable and everyone did their best for the group, whether on the motorcycle or in the car. Already during the preparation and planning, Alpha always responded immediately to all our questions and did its best to make the trip a success for the whole group. All are very good guides, just great!! Moji has all the knowledge about motorcycles and a sensitivity for the technique of the motorcycle. John convinced our women in the escort vehicle with his cheerful manner, his knowledge of the different cultures of the country and nature with his special wildlife. All participants were enthusiastic about the accommodations and liked to take advantage of some opportunities to cool off in the pool. We were very pleased that we were able to conclude our tour on the last day with a dinner together and cozy get-together. We will definitely be back. The next trip is already planned!!! I think that speaks for itself.

It's awful. Equipment is very bad, guide does not speak a word of English and promised in advance that a back-up vehicle drove which turned out not to be true. Unsafe driving on the roads of arusha and belongings were left unattended outside. Owner nowhere to be seen and not answering phone.

Totally recommended experience. We have visited spectacular places, we have soaked up all the local culture going to places where few people can go. The material and the motorcycles are very careful, I can't think of a better guide to carry out this experience, Goodluck has been very attentive at all times, he knows the terrain like the back of his hand and has a great sense of humor. I would repeat without thinking!

A great agency to recommend!!! 6-day motorcycle safari in May 2022. To Kilimanjao, Lake natron, Ngrongoro, Arusha Afla, the manager of the agency was super responsive and allowed to make a very nice course including a visit to Ngrongoro (leaving the bike for a day) Accommodation always very nice, good quality with charm and really always excellent food. Guide Khalifa has always been great advice. Motorcycle honda 250 very well maintained, super pleasant to ride perfect for tracks 80% slopes, mostly dry, great scenery, very good experience, plus with last minute organization, so I recommend 100%!

We rented motorcycles for ten days. On a motorcycle, the steering head bearing was turned out, which we noticed after the first day. One of the employees came and traded it for another. The new motorcycle had no key (so we always had to find a parking space at night), the speedometer did not work and we had to push it every morning as it did not start. They didn't have another one to trade. The first time we rode in darkness, we realized that the light on the other motorcycle did not go. Super dangerous! On the last day the motorcycle didn’t start at all and we left it (after consultation with Maurin, one of the bosses) in a guarded parking lot in Moshi. Maurin had even spoken to the guard of the parking lot on the phone. On the day of the return, Maurin was not there. Alpha (probably the actual boss lives in Australia) told us on the phone that the replacement of the motorcycle costs 100$ on the second day and the pickup on the last day 50$. After he called me names on the phone and threatened me, I realized there was nothing I could do. After all, Maurin still had our deposit. Said deposit 400€ per motorcycle we had paid cash in euros. Now the employee of Alpha wanted to pay us these in Schilling. We insisted on euros as we left the country the next day. Then we had to go to a bank to change the money. The whole thing took two hours and we had to pay the taxi there (15€). In the end, another employee called and said we still have to pay for a bag that supposedly had a hole. Said bag costs 25€ on the manufacturer's side. Alpha wanted €70 for it. Unfortunately, he did not answer the phone (but called his employee at the same time) and thus the 70€ were also deducted from our deposit. Last but not least: Alpha told us the motorcycles have new tires and tubes. After a flattening we saw the tube and it already had four patches. There are other motorcycle rentals and tours offered in Arusha and Moshi!
