Twaha was a brilliant guide. He was lovely to spend time with and full of interesting information. He paced the days very well: varying speed and always ensuring we had time to look at and appreciate the animals and scenery. If we come back we will definitely ask for him.

Itinerary
Day 1
1
The drive from Moshi to Tarangire National Park takes about three hours. This park is spectacular in the dry season when many of the migratory wildlife species come back to the permanent waters of the Tarangire River. Huge herds of wildebeest, zebras, elephants, elands, and Oryx gather to stay in Tarangire until the onset of the rain when they migrate again to good grazing areas. Overnight at the Highview Hotel.
Day 2
2
The drive to Serengeti National Park via Olduvai Gorge takes 3 to 4 hours. Olduvai Gorge is an archaeological site located in the eastern Serengeti plains, in which early human fossils were first discovered. It has an amazing landscape that resulted from the same tectonic forces that created the Great Rift Valley millions of years ago. Then, in the late evening drive to and overnight at the Serengeti Wildcamps.meal plan FB
Day 3
3
After breakfast, venture into the Serengeti's wilderness corners for a full-day of game viewing in the park. With a picnic lunch beside you, take your leisure while exploring this world heritage site, where earth's largest concentration of plain game still roams free! In the late evening, go to the Serengeti Wildcamps for rest, dinner, and overnight.
Day 4
4
After breakfast, drive to Ngorongoro Crater for a game drive inside the crater. This is the best place in Tanzania to see black rhino as well as prides of lion that include the magnificent black-manned males. There are lots of colorful flamingos and a variety of water birds. Other game that you can see includes leopard, cheetah, hyena, other members of the antelope family, and small mammals. Dinner and overnight at the Highview Hotel.FB
Day 5
5
The drive from the Highview Hotel to Lake Manyara National Park takes about 30 Minutes. After having a Picnic lunch in Manyara, you start a late afternoon game drive, which is the best time to view animals in this park. When you approach it from the east, the Rift Valley escarpment looms on the horizon forming an impressive backdrop to the lake. In the tall trees of the ground water forest, monkeys leap from branch to branch, and on the escarpment, elephants stand in the shade. Other animals frequently seen are zebras, impalas, monkeys, giraffes, buffalos, hippos, and others. In the late afternoon, drive back to the Springlands Hotel in Moshi.

Wow, just wow, a family adventure of a lifetime. Twaha was a joy, a great guide, loads of knowledge and great company. It is an amazing, place, a brilliant tour and we saw so much. The Big 5 finished with the elusuve Rhino on day 4 in the Crater. Highly recommended.
Twaha was a very good guide and he showed us all the animals and told us really interesting things about Tanzania.
It was amazing. We saw the big five because the dicisiveness of the driver. We also the personel of the accomodation were we stay. Thanks a lot Tourcompass and ZARA tours for this experience.
Every member of staff between the hotels, camps, drivers were all absolutely lovely, polite and great at their job. Extra credit has to be given to the tour guide I had Norah. She was the most friendly, smart and kind person I have ever met. The entire trip was life changing. Experiencing the culture, tribes, people and wildlife in their natural habitats is an experience worth all the money. Their was enough time to do everything, have food, meet people and get enough sleep each evening. All the staff at the Serengeti camp and hotels were so friendly and helpful. Everything was done on time according to the schedule. Everyone was inclusive and welcoming.
Our safari trip exceeded all our expectations! We saw the Big Five and so much more, and we were lucky to have an amazing and knowledgeable guide, Hamza. It was clear that he knew so much, and he taught us a lot of new things about plants, animals, and Tanzanian culture. He was very patient and always seemed genuinely happy and proud whenever we asked questions about the animals or plants. On top of that, he had the best sense of humour! We would like to say a huge thank you to both Hamza and Zara Tours for an unforgettable safari experience!
Our family spent six incredible days on safari in Tanzania, visiting Tarangire National Park, spending three days in the Serengeti, exploring the Ngorongoro Crater, and finishing our adventure at Lake Manyara. The entire trip was absolutely amazing and truly a once-in-a-lifetime experience. We saw an incredible variety of wildlife, experienced some breathtaking landscapes, and made memories that will stay with us for the rest of our lives. However, what really made this trip so special was our guide, Peter Minja. He was simply exceptional in every possible way, and I honestly believe he was the main reason our safari turned out to be such a success. Peter was extremely knowledgeable about the wildlife, the national parks, and Tanzania in general. He always had interesting things to share, and it was clear that he genuinely loves what he does. His enthusiasm was infectious, and his friendly personality and great sense of humour made every day enjoyable. He also had an incredible eye for spotting animals and always did his best to get us into the perfect position for viewing and taking photographs. You could really tell that he wanted us to have the best possible experience, and he consistently went above and beyond to make that happen. Driving in Tanzania can be an adventure in itself, especially if you're used to European roads and traffic! Some roads were quite rough, and traffic could be chaotic at times, but with Peter behind the wheel, we always felt safe and in good hands. His driving skills, calm attitude, and confidence gave us complete peace of mind throughout the journey. Of all the places we visited, the Serengeti was definitely my favourite. Its sheer size is difficult to comprehend, and the landscapes change so much as you travel through the park. We spent most of our time in central Serengeti, and I could easily have stayed there for much longer. Tarangire was a very close second, with its own unique beauty and incredible wildlife. That said, every destination had something special to offer, and Tanzania is an exceptionally beautiful country. By the end of our six days together, Peter felt like more than just our safari guide. We had genuinely enjoyed his company so much that saying goodbye on our final day was surprisingly emotional. That says a lot about the kind of person he is and the connection he creates with the people he guides. If you're planning a safari in Tanzania and have the opportunity to travel with Peter Minja, I cannot recommend him highly enough. The wildlife and landscapes are spectacular, but having a guide who is knowledgeable, skilled, funny, caring, and genuinely passionate about his work makes all the difference. Thank you, Peter, for an unforgettable experience. You played a huge part in making this trip so special for our family, and we will remember it for many years to come!
Out driver/Guide Hamsa was very good and he helped and understood an had a good sense of humor and he was great telling about the animals and we will never forget him. 10/10
As a family of 6, we had a 5 day Safari, visiting Tarangire, Ngorongoro Crater and Serengeti Plains, where we were so fortunate to have Maxwell Mrosso as our Safari-guide. He did an exceptional job, making us feel very welcome, answering all our strange questions and he is generally very knowledgeable about all the different animals we saw, besides being an excellent driver, whose drivingstyle made us feel very safe in all phases of our Safari. We all highly recommend “Max” at Zara Tours as Safari-guide. - Max, Thank you for giving us the Safari-trip of a lifetime. Ib Christensen and Family, Denmark.
Bonny was amazing. We felt very privileged to be with such a knowledgeable and mature tour guide. We felt totally at ease in his company and very safe. Even when the landcruiser broke down he made sure we were safe and looked after while he repaired it. We cannot recommend the company and particularly Bonny enough.
We had such an incredible trip with Israel Nnko!!! He was a fantastic guide, an absolute pro through and through! He had a knack for getting us to the right place at the right time always and he was so patient with us when we wanted to stay and watch or stop for every single Zebra along the road. He was a wealth of information and fun facts and a master animal spotter. This experience wouldn’t have been the same without him and we can’t thank him enough. The atmosphere in our car was always one of excitement and anticipation thanks to him The trip overall was amazing would highly recommend to anyone wanting a wild and wonderful experience. Truly once in a lifetime. The only place we encountered crowds were in the ngorogoro crater, however Israel managed these with ease and ensured it didn’t diminish our experience. Perfect length of time for the tour, it was so busy and full on but worth every early morning and long drive. I’m exhausted now and ready for a week in Zanzibar! Thank you Israel Nnko!! Nicole and Matthew
Trip of a lifetime, such a special experience. Our tour guide Israel Nnko was absolutely amazing and make the trip even better.
It was our first safari and it was amazing! The travel arrangement, the guide and all the wild life we saw was fantastic! After one week on the savanna we move to beach relaxation on Zanzibar. Can absolutely recommend this.
We had the best tour that we could possibly imagine! Our guide was amazing and knew exactly where to go and how to make the tour unforgettable. We saw both beautiful nature and all the exotic animals of Africa.
My friends & I were driven on our safari Holiday by Godfrey. We find Godfrey very knowledgeable about wildlife ( from animals to bird life & also about the habitats of where they live) . Godfrey is also a very patient driver, giving us enough time to take photos before moving onto the next stop. He drove very safely on roads that were in bad condition and fwhere the traffic is very heavy & overtaking very difficult but he never took unnecessary risks. Very happy with his services & will certainly recommend him to other tour groups.
We really thank zara tours to sent us our fantastic guide Johnson! Our tour guide, Johnson, was truly the heart and soul of our safari journey. He guided us with such gentle calm and possessed an incredible wealth of knowledge about every animal and landscape we encountered. Always reliable, always punctual, he made every single moment feel safe and special. Karolin & Fabio
Our trip with Zara Tours was perfectly organized from start to finish. Timely pick-ups, seamless execution, and overall top-notch, professional service – everything was just spot on! However, the absolute highlight of our trip was our guide, Goodluck. He made this vacation truly special. Goodluck is not only incredibly kind, warm, and funny, but also exceptionally professional. No matter what question we had, he had an answer and shared his immense knowledge with pure passion. We laughed so much together, sang, danced, and simply enjoyed every carefree moment. Even during long drives or under time constraints, he was always in the best of spirits, attentive, and completely accommodated all our needs. In no time at all, we became like a small family. Dear Goodluck, thank you for this unforgettable time! If you book a tour with Zara Tours, you should definitely try to go with Goodluck. 100% recommended!
We were lucky enough to see the Big 5 on tour with our Guide. The hotel and wild camp staff were very friendly and accommodating and Tenga our guide was very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable.
From start to finish the trip was really well managed. Our tour guide was always doing his best to make the most of everyday. We had the luck of seeing all of the big five and many more animals. It was a life changing experience thanks to the good service and our tour guide.
We did an amazing safari of 6 days and 5 nights visiting Serengeti, Tarangire, Ngorongoro and Manyara national parks. We saw all of the big five animals several times thanks to our guide Amiri who was an excellent driver and was always looking for the best places to go and find animals. The places we were staying at night and the food we were eating were perfect. The staff in the hotels were always very welcoming and always attentive to our needs. If you needed something they could always help in no time. Thanks a lot to Zara tours who gave us unforgettable memories !!
From start to the end it was perfekt.
We loved Ali, our guide. He made our trip so special with care and detail! We saw the Big 5, and at close range! never felt afraid and learned so much about the flora and fauna of the area we traveled! From picking us up at Arusha airport to our drop-off in Kilimanjaro! I highly recommend the balloon ride, as well! I am vegan and I ate well as did my sister, eating everything. The camps we stayed at, though not super luxury had the most comfortable beds I've ever slept in! Everything was perfect!
Amazing trip with the best possible guide (Alex). Everything worked out perfectly. The nights in the tents were really a great experience. And Alex, our guide, was extremely knowledgeable about the wildlife and knew where to go to find new species. Also he was very kind and nice to spend five days with. We give ham our best recommendations.
This safari was truly a dream come true, and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. A heartfelt thank you to Eliud Ayo and Kimakia, whose professionalism, knowledge, and genuine passion for wildlife made this journey unforgettable. We miss them already! Their expertise and dedication made every game drive exciting, and they always went the extra mile to give us the best possible experience. We were lucky enough to see the Big Five and so many other incredible animals. I highly recommend this safari to anyone looking for an unforgettable adventure. Thank you for memories that will stay with us forever! We will come back!
We had an amazing 5 day safari experience with Eliudi as a guide. He was both welcoming in his attitude and very capable of his job. We got very close to a lot of the wildlife and I would not hesitate to book other experiences/activities through Zara
What a wonderful trip. Everything went smoothly and our guide, mr Goodluck, was just perfect. He told us so much about culture, animals and nature. Nghts in wildcamp were just magical, sleeping and listening animalsounds. Safari itself was such a great experience. Never did we imagine we would see animals so close. And we fid see big five which was amazing. Warmly recommend Zara Tanzania adventures and mr Goodluck
WOW. What an amazing, fantastic, experience of a lifetime, and way to spend a 60th birthday. We were met at Kilimanjaro Airport and taken to our first hotel, which we asked to be added. Gabriel from World Adventures, took the time to make sure everything was in place, despite us emailing lots of questions! All Admission Fees were taken into consideration in the cost of the safaris, as you have to pay for entering Tarangire National Park, Serengeti and Ngorongoro Park and Crater. Our guide Rapha took care of all this. He was also so informative about not only the animals but the birds and flora and fauna too. He never missed anything. Each hotel had at least 1x 4 poster bed with mosquito curtains round. The Serengeti Safari Lodge had the most spectacular view and we had diner round the bonfire the night we were there. All 4 days we were out on safari were superb. We had breakfast in the hotels, packed lunch enroute and then evening buffet later in whatever hotel we were at. We were the only people in the jeep. Raphael was so knowledgeable and friendly. Nothing was too much trouble. The staff in every hotel were attentive, friendly and very welcoming. We highly recommend using Zara Tours or World Adventures to anyone. Thank you.
An amazing experience from start to finish. Hassan, our guide, was brilliant throughout. He couldn’t have been any more knowledgeable about each place visited and many more places visited. He made our experience the best few days and always had a smile on his face. I hope you are lucky enough to get him as your guide for safaris, we were very lucky to have had him as ours. The safari experience was unbelievable, managing to see all of the big 5 and many other animals up close. Hassan knew his way around these national parks so well. The other members of our group also made the atmosphere great and overall it has been the best 5 days.
I had an awesome safari with a fantastic, friendly en really nice guide Hoza. He told and showed us everything. He is also very qualified. It made the safari unforgettable!!
Wow! What a wonderful experience. My guide Hassan was amazing. He was so friendly and knowledgeable and he knew the Serengeti roads like the back of his hand. He advised us that animals and nature have a mind of their own and may not cooperate. But boy, were we lucky. Saw the Big 5 and then some. Friendships were made that will last a lifetime.
This was a Great experience, and I will remeber it for the rest of my life. Our guide Hoza was a realy good guide and driver. I will recomand this trip to everybody who wants to see The Big Five.
Great experience. We did 4 days. 2 at Serengetti. 1 at Ngorongoro Crater and 1 at Lake Manyara. Saw all of the Big 5. Out guide Peter Minja was very good and friendly. He new a lot of places and we where not over run by a lot of cars - which was nice. I was not impressed by Lake Manyara - if I Can recommend it to others i would take Tarangie in-sted.
Great trip, happy guide who was very wellinformed and excelled in finding animals for us to see
I would like to commend and congratulate Zara Tours for providing me with a truly exceptional and memorable experience in Tanzania and Zanzibar. From beginning to end, the trip was thoughtfully planned, professionally managed, and executed with great care. Several key elements contributed to the overall success of this journey. Foremost among these was our driver and guide, Joseph Tillya. Joseph was outstanding in every respect. He is an excellent driver, and from the moment we began our travels, we felt completely safe and well looked after. His extensive knowledge of the regions we traversed, the wildlife we encountered, and the logistics of the journey—including ideal viewing locations, animal crossings, and well-timed stops for meals and lodging—was impressive and clearly the result of years of experience. Equally important was Joseph’s warm and caring manner. He answered our questions patiently and thoroughly and consistently ensured that we experienced the wildlife up close in their natural environments. By the end of the safari, we were delighted to have seen the Big Five. When my daughter became ill during our second stay at Highview Hotel, Joseph went well beyond his responsibilities, accompanying the doctor and remaining with her throughout her treatment. I will always be deeply grateful for his kindness and compassion. Each day, our vehicle was meticulously cleaned and prepared, and Joseph’s attention to detail never wavered. He was truly exceptional, and I would strongly recommend that future travelers request him as their guide and driver. Our accommodations throughout the safari were excellent. We stayed twice at Highview Hotel and also at Serengeti Wild Camp. Both properties were comfortable, clean, and situated in peaceful settings that provided a welcome respite after full days of exploration. The staff at each location was attentive and responsive, and at Highview Hotel in particular, I was very appreciative of the staff’s prompt action in securing medical care for my daughter. The food throughout the trip was of consistently high quality. Meals were varied, well prepared, and plentiful. Both Highview Hotel and Serengeti Wild Camp offered excellent dining, and it was clear that the chefs took great pride in their work. The national parks we visited—Serengeti, Ngorongoro, and Tarangire—fully met and exceeded my expectations. The combination of extraordinary landscapes, abundant wildlife, and interactions with the Maasai people made the experience deeply enriching. Planned stops were well organized, and lunches along the way, while simple, were entirely satisfactory. My daughter and I also participated in a hot air balloon safari over the Serengeti, operated by Serengeti Balloon Safaris. This was a superb experience and a first-class operation from start to finish. The balloon ride at sunrise was breathtaking, and the champagne brunch served in the bush was an elegant and memorable conclusion to the morning. We added to our safari exerience with stops in Zanzibar and Stone Town. Travel to Zanzibar was seamless and efficient. Upon arrival, we were promptly met at the airport and transferred to Ocean Paradise Resort. This resort proved to be the perfect place to relax after several days on safari. The rooms were spacious and well maintained, with daily housekeeping and a thoughtful turndown service each evening. The food once again stood out—varied, flavorful, and consistently excellent. We made a point of complimenting Scotty, the food and beverage manager, on the quality of meals served throughout our stay. I would gladly consider returning to this resort in the future. On our way to Stone Town, we elected to take a spice tour, which was both informative and enjoyable. Our guide was knowledgeable and personable, and the lunch provided was unique, well prepared, and delicious. Stone Town itself was another highlight of the journey. We stayed at the Tembo Hotel, which is ideally located on the beach. Our rooms were spacious and comfortable, equipped with both air conditioning and ceiling fans. The hotel’s central location made it easy to explore shops, parks, and nearby attractions on foot. The guided tour of Stone Town further enriched our understanding of its history and culture. On our departure day, our driver arrived ahead of schedule to take us to the airport, reflecting Zara Tours’ continued attention to detail. There was one aspect of the trip that was disappointing and merits mention. My daughter and I participated in the Turtle and Beach excursion, but we were not provided with adequate information in advance regarding what to expect or what to bring. Towels and water were not provided, and the experience did not align with the description presented in the brochure. Rather than swimming with turtles in a natural cavern, we were taken to a rescue facility, which, while informative, was not the experience we had anticipated. Later, we learned that there is indeed a cavern where visitors can swim with turtles—an experience we would have preferred had this option been clearly communicated. Given the otherwise high standard of planning throughout the trip, this lack of clarity was surprising. That said, this single experience does not detract from the overall excellence of our journey. Should I return to Stone Town, I would definitely go to Cheetah's Rock. We learned of this the last day with no time to arrange a visit. This is an up close and personal experience with rescued and well protected animals ~ cheetahs among them. Zara Tours provided a truly remarkable travel experience, characterized by professionalism, thoughtful service, and genuine care for their guests. I wholeheartedly recommend Zara Tours and confidently award them five stars.
Absolutely unforgettable experience ❤️ Recommended for animal lovers and those who do not mind animals. We had a funny and smart guide, David who made the safari extremely joyful. Thanks a lot!
Just wanted to extend my heartfelt thanks to you and World Adventure Tours for the most INCREDIBLE trip we have ever been on. We have just got back from our safari trip and it was one we will remember for the rest of our lives. From the very beginning with pick up and the hotels and service at the hotels- it was fantastic. I am so glad i ended up booking the hot air balloon experience too, was a spectacular morning. An absolutely phenomenal experience especially staying at the Safari Lodge in the Serengeti. What a surreal feeling! My most special heartfelt thank you goes to Regan Kimario, our driver for the 4 days. What a legend of a gentleman! His service and mannerism was impeccable from the very beginning all the way to the end. He is a real credit to the company! Our safari was everything and more than we could have imagined and it was all because of him. He kept his vehicle clean everyday, he was patient (despite 3 flat tires in 4 days he was still smiling!), he was extremely knowledgeable with the animals, info on the country, life in general and such a lovely man to spend our days with and get to know. We were able to enjoy hot lunches on our safari days and not just cold sandwiches because he carried his tupperware and hot tub flasks. We realised how lucky we were when I saw other tourist eat sandwiches pretty much everyday. His experience in the industry was evident throughout the days we spent with him during the game drives and the long drives through Tanzania travelling from different National Parks and most importantly we always felt safe. My only constructive feedback to management is that Regan absolutely deserves an upgrade in his vehicle which matches his expertise! He takes great care and pride in his job as a driver and guide so only right that he has the vehicle to portray this and gets to deliver in style! I'm not entirely sure who Regan is employed by whether it's World Adventure tours or Zara Tours, whoever it is I would really appreciate if this feedback about him is passed on to the Managing Directors of the company as I truly believe credit is due when absolutely deserved and he deserves exactly this. We were just customers for Regan but for us he is someone we are so thankful to have met and will remember for the rest of our lives. Many thanks again for helping us book a trip of a lifetime. I have already passed on World Adventure Tours details to friends and family in the UK. Many thanks again
Fantastic 5 days! We saw so many animals including leopards and cheetahs, and everyone was so helpful including our guide, Johnson -thank you!
Our guide Hozza was really good and the whole trip went on flawlessly. We were lucky and got to see the big five :) Thanks for the experience
David was extraordinary in every conceivable way. First, he is a very personable young man, always positive. Most important , he majored in college in flora and fauna. There is nothing he spotted that he could not name , and he could spot everything. If I had to give him a grade, it would be A+.
It was ann unforgettable experience. Zara Tours made everything seamless and easy. They took great care of us the whole time.
The areas we were able to see were spectacular. The tour guides were so knowledgeable, funny, and competent. We were able to see the Big Five, and the Zara guides made that possible. The accommodations were also great, with the staff going above and beyond. Will miss being with the Zara family!
We have just returned back home we could not help but appreciate the wonderful safari organized by Zara Tanzania Adventures. Every aspect of the trip was well organized from the timely transfers, the vehicles were clean, comfortable and well maintained. I am avid motor enthusiast noted that the safari vehicle was the 2025 Land cruiser hardtop which was very impressive. Our guide Tarimo was awesome, he drove carefully and so knowledgeable. He was so passionate about conservation and also a birding guide. The days passed too fast because such that we were surprised when the tour ended. I highly recommend Zara Tanzania Adventures
I have done my first trip with Zara Tours. It was a 6-day safari in Serengeti, Ngorongoro crater, Tangerine Park and Lake Manyara. I must say I got a lifetime experience that I will never forget. Our guide Issa was one of the best guides I have ever met. He made it to his mission that we should be able to see all the animals we wished to see, not just “the big five”. All the arrangements were very well organized, and I must say that every day went above my expectations. I hope to travel with Zara Tours again. I can highly recommend them, and if you get Issa as guide, you have hit the jack pot.
Thank you to Regan my solo driver and guide. We had a fantastic time. He even let me drive the jeep after I convinced him what an amazing driver I was. We were very lucky to see all the big 5, rhino, lions, elephants, leopards and buffalo. If you ever find yourself in this area of Africa, I highly recommend a 4 to 5 day Zara tour. Staying in wild camps.. where buffalo tried to knock over my very strong clamping shower. Regan was amazing 👏 🤩 We visited schools, tanzinite tours, had lunch in stunning locations. A truly unforgettable time. Thank you Regan. Slán go foil (bye for now)
Many aspects were fantastic inc.staff and locations As an honest review I would suggest that “a one size fits all” is difficult to provide for all ages and tastes. For one hotel was sub standard , others excellent, driving long distances tough and dusty but undeniable worth it. A/C should be a consideration All told Zara were very good at accommodating any changes
What an amazing trip!! Zara Tours is fabulous! We have actually used them many times over the last 20 years as we visit often for relief trips! You are not a number to them! There entire staff works to make your trip memorable from the time you arrive til the time you leave!
Absolutely amazing safari trip! Everything went smoothly ! We arrived in Kilimanjaro later than expected due to a connecting flight delay, however Zara Tours were there waiting for us, for a swift transfer to River Trees Inn. The next day Godlove was there to meet us and take us on to Arusha airport for our flight to the Serengeti, where we were met by Isaac, who was to be our driver for the next 5 days! Isaac was amazing ! He was so friendly and knowledgable about The Serengeti, within the first hour on our way to camp, we saw so many animals and even a leopard which is very hard to find! Isaac made us feel comfortable and had great conversation, his English was fab! Isaac could spot animals from very far away and kept up to date by using his radio CB in the jeep, so he got us where we needed to be to see all the amazing animals. Day 2 we drove North to view the migration which was a very long day driving there and back but well worth it. Day 3 we drove south in search for the Rhino but unsuccessful! We had a lovely lunch sitting by a lake and Isaac again was amazing, driving for long hours on bumpy tracks searching for animals! We saw elephants, including a mum, dad and baby which was just stunning , hyenas, monkeys, lions, giraffes and lots of different birds. Day 4 we left The Serengeti and headed for the crater which took about 5 hours. Isaac was very informative about the local tribes en route and when we got to the crater we managed to see about 6 rhinos! We had seen the big five!! Day 5 Isaac drove us to the village of Mto Wa Mbu where we had a tour and lunch which was so interesting! Their food was amazing and how they made their banana beer was clever! We learnt a lot about their culture! Isaac even stopped off for us to buy a red banana to sample! We came to the end of our five days with Isaac who dropped us to Arusha for our flight to Zanzibar! Isaac you were an absolute delight to spend 5 days with! We wish you all the best and truly thank you for making our experience truly wonderful, we cannot thank you enough.
AWESOME EXPERIENCE. SARAH TOURS WAS PHENOMENAL! OUR GUIDES WERE HIGHLY KNOWLEDGEABLE SUPER FRIENDLY AND THE FOOD WAS EXCELLENT!
Just returned after 12 days of vacation, in paradise. Would never have been without this amazing holiday. Our guide and skilled driver, VINCENT who had a huge knowledge of all the animals and did everything to make sure we got to see so much. Thank you from the heart. Jeanette
Zara Safaris was incredible Peter our eagle-eyed guide was knowledgable, humerous and professional. He went above and beyond to make sure we saw all the animals Serengeti had to offer, but also made the effort to ensure we got the best angles for our photo's too. We had so much fun laughing and learning and experienced nature at its finest. The staff in all three hotels were kind and helpful, and the food was great. We had comfortable beds and good showers. We can't thank Mama Zara, Benito our activity coordinator and Peter our guide enough for a trip of a lifetime. Highly recommend to go with Zara if you want to get the best possible experience for your safari.
