We booked our Serengeti Safari with World Adventure Tours, with Zara Tours the ground operator in Tanzania. With over 6,500+ safari operators in Tanzania, it was a trick finding the right one, but we think we did. From initial booking enquiry to final payment, the communication with Gabriel was first rate. On the ground, the operation ran like a well-oiled machine. Emmanuel was our guide, and he is the goat of the Serengeti. With 10 years guiding in the Serengeti under his belt, there was nowhere for the animals to hide! We dubbed him the Serengeti Whisperer because he just knew. On safari, it’s 100% about the animals, but a guide can make or break it. Emmanuel was the ultimate SME, informative, witty and so passionate. Thanks Emmanuel. You absolutely made this safari for us! And thanks World Adventure Tours & Zara Tours, for the best holiday I have ever had!

Itinerary
Day 1
1
Arrive at Kilimanjaro Airport. After clearing customs, look for your driver. They will be waiting for you, holding a sign with your name. Your driver will transport you to Moshi. Overnight Springlands Hotel (with breakfast) or Similar
Day 2
2
Drive to Tarangire National Park in the morning. Tarangire is traversed by the Tarangire River, which never dries up. Being the only water source during the dry season, it draws hundreds of animals to the park, making wildlife and bird viewing spectacular. The landscape is varied, with grassy savannah plains, swamps, hills, and spectacular baobabs.
Day 3
3
Head out after breakfast for the drive to Serengeti National Park. “Serengeti” is derived from the Maasai language, meaning “endless plain.” En route to the Serengeti, you can experience Maasai culture by visiting a Maasai village. Also, you can visit Olduvai Gorge (at your own cost), known as the Cradle of Humanity. This Museum is a testament to the long journey that humanity has made from its humble roots in East Africa to its current state as the dominant species on Earth. Enjoy a game drive en route to your camp.
Day 4
4
Enjoy a full day of game drives in the Serengeti – unequaled for its beauty and home to the Great Wildebeest Migration. The huge herds of plains game, such as wildebeest, zebra, and antelope, dominate the park, while the attendant predators, such as lion and cheetah, are to be found amongst the many kopjes scattered across the plain. Its landscape varies from open grass plains in the south, savanna with scattered acacia trees in the center, hilly, wooded grassland in the north, to extensive woodland and black clay plains to the west.
Day 5
5
Enjoy a morning game drive en route to Ngorongoro Crater. Descend into the Ngorongoro Crater for game driving and exploration. The crater is 600m deep, 16km across, and 265 sq km in area. Enjoy the spectacular scenery and game viewing in what has been described as the world’s eighth wonder. Many of Tanzania’s last remaining black rhinos can be seen grazing on the open grassland of the crater floor, surrounded by some of the 20,000 large animals that occupy the crater, including lion, cheetah, eland, zebra, and gazelle. Flamingos, among other bird species, can often be seen feeding at Makat Soda Lake. Afternoon drive to your lodge for your overnight stay.
Day 6
6
Drive to Lake Manyara National Park in the morning. Set against the steep escarpment of the Rift Valley, you’ll find Lake Manyara National Park with its evergreen groundwater forest and various ecosystems, including acacia woodland, grassy plains, a swampy fan delta, and – of course – the expansive lake. This diversity attracts various mammal, bird, and wildlife species. Manyara is also home to rare tree-climbing lions. The park offers excellent game viewing with buffalo, impala, giraffe, bushbuck, waterbuck, hippos, and many elephants roaming near the lake. Also, look out for blue monkeys, velvet monkeys, and very active olive baboons.
Day 7
7
Enjoy a morning of leisure before your transfer to Kilimanjaro airport for your flight home.

Reviews
A bucket list item, we completed six nights and seven days immersed in the most amazing wildlife, landscapes and Tanzanians! The Serengeti, Ngorngoro crater, Lake Manyara and Tarangire national parks were sublime. We experienced the BIG 5 several times over and witnessed Mother Nature at its finest. Our guide, Emanuel was a delight. Informative, friendly and always keen to ensure we were happy. His knowledge and humour were exquisite, his ability to locate wildlife uncanny and his broad smile enchanting. Thank you Serengeti Whisperer. All accommodation was comfortable, clean and welcoming. The process from initial enquiry with Gabriel to booking and delivery of the safari was first class. Professional and engaging. We saw others on the ground and know we made the right choice. We will be back….
Before deciding to book my trip with World Adventure Tours, I read so many positive reviews, and that was one of the main reasons I chose them. And honestly, I don’t regret it for a second! From the very beginning, from the booking process, my travel advisor Gabriel was always there to answer all my questions. He was very quick to respond, clear, and extremely helpful. The organization and communication with him were perfect, even throughout my safari. During the safari, I also had an excellent guide, Simon, who truly made this experience unforgettable. He explained everything we needed to know about the animals and the ecosystem, was always attentive to our requests, and treated everyone in the group with kindness and warmth. Thanks to the whole team, I had an amazing experience in Tanzania that I will never forget. I would absolutely recommend World Adventure Tours and would not hesitate for a second to travel with them again!
My experience with World Adventure Tours from inquiring to completing the safari has been exceptional. Gabriel was my booking agent and was regularly in contact and offered support before and during the safari. Our Safari with our guide Simon was fantastic. He is extremely professional and makes guests feel comfortable and safe. He is a great communicator, explaining the plans for the day and regularly asking us what we want to see and do to incorporate into his schedule. Simon is extremely knowledgeable about the animals and Tanzania history and culture and was able to answer all questions and share so much with us. He was lots of fun and had jokes with us. I can also say he is a very safe driver. He is one of the best guides I have had in any of my safaris and I can’t praise him enough. I would definitely book another tour through World Adventure Tours and highly recommend them.
World Adventure Tours were an amazing company to deal with. The communication and information provided in the build up to the trip was excellent. They were very accommodating to all requests and changes to be made. I was particularly impressed with how responsive they were to queries with quick turn around times for information. We had issues with delays for ongoing flights and they were very receptive and helpful to sort out our problems where I suspect others wouldn't have been! The experience itself goes without saying, absolutely incredible and would highly recommend to anyone to not only book themselves a trip but through World Adventure Tours for a smooth and reassuring process.
Once in a lifetime trip and experience! Everything was excellent and perfectly working like a Swiss Watch. From the first contact with Gabriel over the whole booking process, our countless of questions, pick-up/drop-off to/from airport, the accommodations (Springland Hotel, Highview Hotel, Serengeti Safari Lodge) including breakfast, dinner, and lunch boxes, even without upgrades were great. All staff members super friendly and helpful. Last but not least the safari itself. We also booked an Hot Air Balloon ride over the Serengeti, which was also perfectly organized and an amazing experience. We did the Big Five Classic Safari in Tansania - Lake Manyara, Serengeti, Ngorongoro, Tarangire. Our driver and guide Emanuel welcomed us with a big smile and Hakuna Matata. Emanuel was not just a guide. He became a friend. He answered every question, had so much knowledge about the animals and landscape, and he exactly knew where to find which animal. If we would do another trip only with Emanuel. Asante sana Rafiki Emanuel!!! Asante sana World Adventure Tours
What a wonderful trip. From the initial booking, to adding an extra 2 days, the staff could not have been more helpful. Especially Joyce from World Adventure Tours. She was very patient when I mixed up dates and we had trouble with my husband's visa. She was wonderful. She added a Safari to Arusha National Park to our itinerary and we did that before we left Moshi for our Serengeti Safari. What a lovely introduction to safaris! As there are no cats there we were able to go for a walk to a lovely little waterall. On the way we saw, and were so close to, water hogs and even water buffalo. Our guide for the day was Mpole and he was lovely! The next day we started the safaris we came for. Our guide for the next week was Danny. He was amazing. He could spot the smallest, cutest animals and birds whilst driving! Or the lions and cheetahs hidden in the grassland! He always gave us plenty of time to enjoy the animals we came across and even had a book of birds so I could get the correct spelling for my notes! Our safaris were amazing because of him. His knowledge of the animals was incredible and his sense of humour matched ours perfectly!! Each national park we went to was different and we did get to see the Big 5! We had the option of going on a balloon safari in the Serengeti through Magical Experience Tanzania. Our pilot was Nick and he was excellent. He also could spot lions and hyennas a mile away and made sure every one had a great view of the animals we spotted on our flight. This was the icing on the cake of a wonderful trip! THe Ngorongoro Crater was spectacular! The zebras and wildebeest were so numerous and they strethed across the plain for miles! The hotels we stayed in were great and comfortable and the food was delicious and plentiful. And the staff were the friendliest I have ever come across. They genuinely made you feel wecome. I cannot recommend this tour enough.
Fantastic safari experience! Everything was well organized from start to finish, and our guide was friendly, knowledgeable, and made every game drive unforgettable. The accommodations, transportation, and overall service exceeded our expectations. I highly recommend this company to anyone looking for a memorable and stress-free safari. I would definitely book with them again!
We had an amazing time on our Big 5 Safari. Our guide Joseph Tilya was great! Everyday he asked us what animals we wanted to see and every time we saw every animal on our list ! He is experienced and knows how to read the animals. Knew where to position the jeep so that we’d get the most amazing shots. We saw the Big 5 into the Big 9 . It was truly amazing.
If your looking to book a safari I'd highly recommend world adventure tours, from the first contact I had with Sslly who has always replied promptly to any questions I've had it has been absolutely amazing, our guide Molla was exceptional his knowledge of animals birds etc was excellent ,not only while we we on safari but also gave us so much information about everyday life while we were driving around ,the amount of wild life we seen was amazing,Molla didn't give up until we saw the big five🙂thank you world adventure tours and Molla for life long memories.
Cant recommend this trip enough. The whole time was amazing. Jerry- our guide was fantastic, we saw all the big five and so much more, his knowledge and professionalism were 5 star. We felt totally safe the whole time and made memories that will last a lifetime. Thank you so much Jerry, Joyce and the team at Tour Radar!
Wow! A "ten"- A+. First, the communication with the office was timely, professional and helpful all along. Thank you, Joyce! The itinerary was complete and perfectly executed. They did everything promised and more. (Yes, we saw the big five.) Every park had its own character with the Serengeti being beyond beautiful. We have the finest zoo in the world here, in San Diego, but seeing these animals run free in the wild (hunting even) takes your breath away. This land- Africa- is mesmerizing. What a rich history and culture. The guide Athanas was patient, expert with animals and history and culture and doing his job knowing where to go and when. Excellent English too. There was only one other couple in the jeep with us for the entire trip who were great and the experience felt very personal. The jeeps was open top, which is great. We asked countless questions and Athanas is like an encyclopedia - if you are old enough to know what that is! The accommodations were great, two were resort-like. The staff at Springlands, where we stayed most of our nights, is the most friendly and professional I have every enjoyed- especially "G" and Benjamin. They made us feel welcome and comfortable. I wish them all the best. They are very kind folks. As was our driver for extra day trips and transfers (Dennis) and our guide for add on trips- Victor. Victor has a deep knowledge of the tribes and local culture. The coffee experience is worth doing- with him. The food was generally good or very good. We only ate food provided by this tour and wound up eating everything- and so far, no health issues at all. (Don't drink the water.) Overall, this is my favorite vacation and I'm an older guy who has traveled a lot. It's in another category. This team was expert and caring and our journey was magical. A few notes: the ballon ride (Miracle Experience) is expensive, but they somehow exceeded expectations with a wonderful, friendly captain, Champaign toast and lovely breakfast out on the Serengeti after. Again, magical. If you can swing it, do it. A few tips: get Schillings for tipping early in the trip. We had a bit of a snafu with our Visa. We paid ahead of time but got no receipt from the Country and they never replied to repeated requests. We had to pay again, partially, even though I showed my credit card receipt as being paid, when we got there. It's $100 each for US citizens and I think $50 for many other countries. To be fair, they only charged us half of what we owed online ahead of time, but I wound up having to pay the difference and then some again, just to get going. Be prepared by taking cash, they don't accept credit cards at the airport and the currency - the bills (US at least) has to be newer than 2000 or they don't accept. One other thing, I believe this tour is run by/affiliated with Zara, which is a competing company and I assume just as good. The staff told us how well they are treated by this company and how the company is very charitable with the folks there- women and education for kids- it made our choice even better. I seldom write reviews but was composing this in my head as went! Enjoy your trip!
Where do I begin! It’s very hard to tell you which day was better and pick a favourite. I will start with the agent at World Adventure Tours Joyce. This lady is amazing and was an absolute pleasure to deal with. Not having any experience with any of this she was always there to answer questions and despite changing the dates mutiple times when first booking and going above and beyond when we asked about alternative itineraries we were really taken care of. She also took the time during our visit to make sure all was ok and at the end of the trip when we had flight issues she even helped us get home when the flights we booked separately were cancelled. Great great customer service! We enjoyed all of the accommodation and the food including the picnics every day was outstanding. Our guide Molla went out of his way to ensure we saw everything. We were amazed that he was able to see things so far away and he clearly had the best experience and knowledge out of all the companies we saw. Everyone was looking to see what we were doing. Because of Molla we saw 19 lions and 4 babies, 3 leopards, 3 Cheetahs, 5 black Rhinos and a baby, We saw the great migration and always felt safe. We were very close to the animals we saw and Molla made sure we would always get great pictures. We see all of the big 5 and so much more and also learned a lot. He made us feel like we were family and to say he was an excellent guide is just not enough he was remarkable and every day we counted our blessings to have him and his eagle eyes and looked forward to each adventure. The Serengeti Lodge and the Highview Coffee lodge were absolutely wonderful. In Highview they even met us with lovely scented cool cloths and refreshing drink as we came up the drive. The grounds were beautiful and the coffee trees around the property and being able to drink the coffee made on the premises was very special. At the Serenghetti lodge we could hear the lions at night and we felt really safe as we were always taken to our room and knew there was great security there to look after the guests. It was nice to come “home” after an exciting day every day. The sunsets seen from the balcony were breathtaking. This was a trip of a lifetime and we will always remember it and not sure how any trip will ever compare to this one. If you want to be taken care of extremely well and have an unforgettable experience then this is the tour company and vacation package to go on. Highly highly recommend and thank you!
Our Safari was superb and our driver/guide Norah was excellent always getting us into good viewing positions. We saw all the big 5 albeit the black rhino was just a speck in the distance. The highlights were the pride of lions that came right to the car, the cheetahs especially the one stalking an impala then chasing it, the elephants at Tarangire , the giraffes , herds of wildebeest and zebras and also the buffaloes. Unfortunately my wifes’s luggage was delayed/missing- mislaid by the airline. Norah was most helpful in making some time to find some places for essential shopping. We also did the balloon ride over the Serengeti which was a good experience but on that day we were not lucky enough to see much in terms of wild life from the air but nevertheless a wonderful experience. Areas of improvement-The showers at the Springlands Hotel need attention, there was barely a trickle of water. Also the drains at the Highview hotel as there was a lingering smell in the room.
We are an Australian couple travelling to Africa for the first time. From our arrival at the Kilimanjaro Airport to our departure the whole safari exceeded our expectation from the food, to the accommodation and transport, the itinerary delivered. We saw the big 5, the ugly 5 and the highlight, watched a cheetah stalk and attack an impala. But what made the trip so special was the staff, our tour group and most importantly our guide Christian. Christian was the ultimate professional. He was extremely knowledgeable, put us in the best position to see animals, managed each day to maximise our experience, and was engaging and a good communicator. Our tour group included two German ladies and ourselves. Christian was able to foster a great group dynamic which ensured we all enjoyed the shared experience. It is an adventure we will never forget, thank you.
The safari was an unforgettable experience. There were only three of us in the group, and we saw all of the Big Five and the Ugly Five. Our guide, Christian, was very friendly, knowledgeable, and funny. I would definitely recommend the tour and Christian as a guide.
The trip was an absolutely incredible way to celebrate my 60th birthday. On the night we were treated to a cake and birthday wishes from the staff at the Serengeti Lodge. We were fortunate enough to see the Big 5, huge herds of wildebeest, zebra and buffalo. Our highlights were certainly coming across three kills and a super pride of about 35 lions. What we most grateful for was our guide David. From the day he picked us up to the day he dropped us off he was amazing. He respected the environment as well as the vehicle we were traveling in. He was always delightful and engaging and made us feel extremely comfortable and always safe. He went above and beyond to make our experience the best that he could.
The safari exceeded my hopes and expectations in every way. Quickly I lost count of the animals and birds, the variety and numbers so vast. The accommodations, food, staff and especially my driver and guide Fadhili, were all exceptional making the experience unforgettable.
Our safari with Tanzania Wildlife Adventures was mesmerizing. In Tarangire, colossal baobabs towered over roaming elephant herds, while the Serengeti unfolded in sweeping savannahs alive with lions, giraffes, zebras, and wildebeest streaming across the horizon. Ngorongoro Crater amazed us with its sun-drenched rim and wildlife teeming below like a living tapestry. Meeting the Hadzabe at Lake Eyasi offered a rare glimpse into an ancient way of life. We rested at Serengeti Wild Camp and Highview Hotel in Karatu, both serene havens that balanced comfort with the wild. Every moment felt extraordinary, from dawn drives to starlit nights.
What an awesome 5 day African safari adventure we just enjoyed. The animals, the landscape, the information we learned-there are no words to describe this safari. Our guide, Hassan Sakala, was a true gift. His dedication was to making us happy and keeping us safe in the process. An amazing driver regardless of the terrain, and quite the source of information regarding the animals and any questions we had. He ensured that we would take advantage of every sighting there was, from dung beetle to rhino and every species in between, lions surveying from tree limbs, giraffes gazing, wildebeests and zebras migrating, to name a few. Our safety was never at risk no matter the animal’s presence, Hassan was always attentive to that while he surveyed the landscape finding the animal sightings . His joy and passion for what he does envelopes you and creates a lovely atmosphere where everyone in the jeep becomes family. The entire trip was well organized. The various lodgings and meals were wonderful as well. I highly recommend this safari. And, highly recommend Hassan Sakala as your tour guide.
I’ve been around the world quite a bit but this tour was truly something special. It started with meeting my rideshare - a family with humour and open arms. Meeting our guide and driver, Hassan, was the tip of the luck I had. He made sure we’ve felt comfortable and safe the whole time not only during the drive but always. He made sure that we saw as many animals (big ones, small ones, ugly ones…) and nice landscapes as possible, made sure to see always the interesting side, gave us all the explanations and answers we needed to have and furthermore he told us about himself and how live is in Tanzania for people and tribes. Additionally we got a free language course in Swaheli. Hassan is not only one of the best drivers I know but he managed to be involved in the party more as a friend than a tour guide with all the knowledge necessary for this trip, the jokes at the right moments and the support. I’ve challenged Hassan at the beginning of the tour by “requesting” to see a lion on a tree and a flying zebra. He won both challenges and showed as much more. As Hassan is not only a guide for safaris but for the climb on the Kilimanjaro, it is the best reason to train for the climb and come back as soon as possible. The tour in itself was well organised by the company. The accommodations were absolutely great, which includes the food and the support of the staff.
Our 5-day African safari, including time in the Serengeti National Park, was truly unforgettable. A once in a lifetime trip!!! Big thanks to our guide, Hassan Sakala. From the very first hour of the first day, Hassan went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and genuinely happy at every moment of the journey. His driving was excellent, even in challenging terrain, which allowed us to relax and focus on the incredible experience around us. The whole safari was totally safe and smooth from beginning to end. Hassan’s wildlife spotting was remarkable! He was always alert and scanning the horizon, and worked tirelessly to help us find animals—even the rare ones we only dreamed of seeing. And even when animals weren’t immediately around, the Tanzanian landscape itself was absolutely gorgeous. We had sightings that felt truly special and often exceeded our expectations. Additionally to his driving skills, Hassan’s personality made the trip even better. He is warm and kind, and shared moments of his life without ever being intrusive. He shared fascinating facts about animals we encountered, clearly an expert in his field. We felt very taken care of. The entire experience was also incredibly well organized. The lodging throughout the trip was comfortable and welcoming, and the food was great. The company took care of every detail, so we never had to worry about logistics or planning. A special mention goes to our representative, Joyce, who was super responsive and always available to answer questions before and during the trip. The whole trip was seamless and stress-free as an international trip can be. By the end of the tour, Hassan felt less like a guide and more like a member of the family. His kindness and professionalism truly set him apart, and his passion for what he does made this safari the trip of a lifetime. We cannot recommend this trip highly enough!!
Had an amazing experience with World Adventure Tours-Big Five Classic Safari in Tanzania. Would recommend this company and this trip to anyone who really wants to experience a safari in Tanzania!
We had an amazing safari trip with my wife! Our tour guide was incredibly knowledgeable and passionate about wildlife — he knew everything about the animals and took us to all the best spots to see them up close. We got to experience the full range of African safari animals in their natural habitat, and his storytelling made it even more fascinating. The tour organizer and manager were also exceptional — she was very proactive, even calling to check how we were doing, and the office staff were super helpful in ensuring our safe return home. Highly recommend this agency for an unforgettable safari experience!
Great guide and overall experience. Car and hotel were good. Can recommend. Okay, i hace to reach 100 characters, so yeah, it was great.
We had the trip of a lifetime in Tanzania with Danny Marto who was phenomenal as a guide. The safari was well curated, with a great sequence of activities. We enjoyed the game drives in the parks we visited, cultural visits to the Masai and Hadza bushmen were so fascinating. The choice of accommodations was done thoughtfully such that we had a seamless trip. The level of comfort and luxury in the lodges was above what we expected in the bush.
We went to the coffee plantation and Mataruni Falls. Rashid is a great guide, very knowledgeable, very attentive, explained us things, took pictures. It was a fun adventure. Yesterday he was our guide for Chemka Hotsprings. He paid attention and took pictures and took good care of us. IWe highly recommend him.
Such an amazing experience, could not recommend it enough. Regan (our tour guide) was organised, knowledgeable, friendly, punctual and overall a gentleman! Natural Geographic in realtime!!
Great safari with amazong guide! Regan was very knowledgeable and went the extra step to make sure we enjoyed our time. Would highly recommend it.
Amazing experience! From booking and arranging the trip with Gabriel, who was always so quick to reply, to doing our safari with Emanuel. He was an amazing guide, very attentive, funny and gave us all the tips. Would absolutely recommend this company and if you can, try to book with Emanuel!
We had an unforgettable experience on our Big 5 safari in Tanzania with Zara Tours. We were lucky enough to see all of the Big 5 during our trip, which made it truly special. Our guide, Tenga, was absolutely fantastic – knowledgeable, patient, and always making sure we were comfortable and enjoying every moment. He had a great eye for spotting wildlife and explained everything in such an engaging way. The whole journey was well organized by Zara, from the lodges to the game drives, and everything ran smoothly. If you’re thinking about a safari in Tanzania, we highly recommend Zara and especially our guide, Tenga, for an amazing and memorable adventure.

Probably one of my best trips so far! Everything was absolutely amazing. From the initial inquiry, to my arrival and departure, Gabriel has been very helpful. The trip was great too, we saw all big 5 animals. Our driver and guide Emmanuel was crazy fun and so experienced! The accommodations were perfect too. Would really recommend them to all my friends for sure. Thank you for this amazing trip 🫶🏼🫶🏼🫶🏼
Once in a lifetime experience. Everything was well arranged in advance. The car was great and the guide, Emanuel, was wonderful. We saw all the big five and so much more. Emanuel was well versed at finding the animals and talking about them. The overnight places were ok, but very much targeted for just one night stay. There was no place to take out some of the clothes to arrange for the next day. The exception was the Serengeti Safari lodge where we stayed 2 consecutive nights. That was an amazing place.
Our Big 5 Classic Safari in Tanzania with World Adventure Tours was an incredible fusion of wonderful wildlife encounters, beautiful landscapes scenes, cultural exchanges and all with an expert guide. We went through elephant rich Tarangire, tree climbing lions of Manyara, expansive wildlife filled plains of the Serengeti and magic of the Ngorongoro. Having Musa as our guide was a big plus. We found him caring and genuinely interested in our comfort and fulfillment on the drives. His insight helped to give us deeper perspective on the culture, conservation and life in Tanzania in general. We enjoyed staying in the selected lodges for they were perfect relaxation spots offering glamping in the middle of the bush. Check out my review on Serengeti Safari Lodge - which was our favourite place on the tour. I wouldn't change anything about this safari!
I would recommend this tour to everyone without any hesitation. From the very beginning in discussions with Gabriel to the safari with Ragan and Nora to the tent camp and hotels and a wonderful finale in Zanzibar, our trip was fantastic. Everyone friendly and helpful, and truly ALWAYS going the extra mile to ensure our trip was amazing. I honestly can say this was one of the best tour companies I have ever worked with, and I have organized tours to Israel, Iceland, Alaska and others. It's a long flight from the USA, but don't hesitate, it's worth it. You will see more animals than you can even imagine.
From the first contact with Gabriel from World Adventure Tours, my experience has been absolutely outstanding. My guides in Kenya and Tanzania, Castro and Israel respectfully, were terrific. The accommodations were wonderful and all the details were beautifully managed by everyone I had contact with. There were no glitches. The landscapes and experiences with the safari were amazing and complete - nothing was left out with the knowledge and experience of my guides. I witnessed a part of the world that is magical and beautiful. It was truly a trip of a lifetime. For me, as a solo female traveler, World Adventure Tours was wonderful. Couldn’t ask for a better experience.
I had the most wonderful experience on my safari, it was everything I’d dreamed of. My guide and driver Amir was brilliant, he was great at spotting the animals and he was very patient, waiting for me to watch and take photos and videos. I got to see the Great Migration, which was spectacular and the “big five”. Everyone has been so welcoming and friendly and nothing was too much trouble for anyone to help me with anything. All the hotels have been lovely with delicious food, catering for vegetarians, serving meat and fish too. They were all very clean. I went to a Maasai village and the people there were very welcoming and it was really interesting to see how they live, I thoroughly enjoyed my visit there. I went to Lake Manyara, Ngorongoro Crater, the Olduvai Gorge, the Mara River, Serengeti and the Tarangire National Park and each place offers it’s own special features. In short, I have had an absolutely wonderful holiday and I highly recommend this to anyone without reservation.🙂
We had the most amazing experience on this Safari. We booked through Gabriel at World Adventure Tours who was excellent and got back to us really quickly with any questions leading up to the trip. Everything went really smoothly from pick up at the airport to drop off. Our driver and guide was Zamoyan who was absolutely amazing and so knowledgeable with 17 years experience. We were really taken care of and all the hotels were lovely- particularly the Serengeti Safari Lodge and Highview Hotel. We were on our honeymoon and these hotels decorated our room so beautifully. We were able to see the big 5 and so much more. We were expecting to see the Great Migration but it was too far north and our mistake for not clarifying this prior to booking this itinerary. A really fabulous experience!
Emmanuel was really awesome. He is a Great driver / tourguide. We saw a lot of wild animals and Emmanuel knows where to see them. Overall it was an amazing Safari Trip. I strongly recommend doing at least a 5 day trip.
- the guide was very nice and explained everything and answered our questions - the hotels were very comfortable - the national parks were beautiful:)
From initial contact with Sally we were well informed and supported. Sally was excellent, thank you. All our accommodation ,food and especially safari exceeded my expectations! Special thank you to Wilfred our driver and guide on safari. Wilfred is so knowledgeable about wildlife, environment and Tanzania - a fabulous guide. We also went from Moshi to Marangu waterfall and coffee plantation. Wonderfully and again great guide and food. I hope to travel with World Adventure Tours again and definitely recommend them.
People come to Tanzania to see the animals - However THE PEOPLE ARE THE ABSOLUTE HEART OF THE COUNTRY! ZARA tours treated me with the upmost care and ensured that I had a top notch experience- as a woman traveling alone I was always safe and ensured the best! My guide, Jackson . Made sure that I saw ALL the animals The beautiful lands offered. Hotel services are excellent and the Heart of the people will bring you back. Did the 8 day tour and can’t wait to return. Do every Cultural tour available !!! Enjoy Melissa Stephenson
I traveled as a solo female traveler and wanted to write this review especially for those who may have concerns. Tanzania is quite safe, the local people are incredibly friendly, and this tour organization is very well established. You’ll see many staff members working for Zara Tours (also known as World Adventure Tours), and the guides are excellent. Samweli was my guide during the Big Five safari tour. He has been doing this job for 12 years and truly knows his work! He’s a professional you can trust. We saw the Big Five during our trip and much more! Even if you mention your guide's name to someone during the tour, they’ll recognize him—it’s that safe and well-connected. Try to learn some Swahili. Visit the Maasai tribe. Dance with them and learn about their rare and fascinating culture. You’ll be surprised by their way of life and discover how people can be genuinely happy with so little. "When we try to own things but feel empty inside, we eventually learn that true happiness comes from within."
Our guide David was fantastic! He was very enthusiastic & obviously loves his profession. He made our trip amazing! We saw many animals . Loved loved it!!
Was a good trip with a good guide We saw elephants, leopards, gazelle, giraffes, lions, rhinos, hippos, wilder beast, zebra and many more animals
We had an excellent tour. Saw all the Big 5 and more. Special moments such as a lion stalking a zebra and a leopard jumping out by the side of the road made it a truly unforgettable experience. The planning and organisation were seamless and our guide Matumbo brought his experience and knowledge to the tour.
The Big 5 Safari was amazing! We got to see the Big 5 as well as many other animals including zebras, gazelles, mongoose, and even a puff adder! The accommodations were clean and the employees were extremely friendly. The “tent” at the Serengeti Lodge was extremely luxurious and it was so cool to be able to sit on the porch and hear the animals. Our driver and tour guide, Emanuel, was beyond amazing. He could spot animals from far away and got us right up close for amazing views. He spotted 2 different leopards in trees that it took me awhile to find with binoculars! The only downside of the tour is there was a lot of driving to go between all the places, but at least the vehicle was comfortable. I would definitely recommend World Adventure Tours and the Big 5 Safari.
Our driver, Emmanuel was fantastic. He was friendly, talkative and made sure we saw the big five. All of the staff at the hotels were great. The Serengeti Safari Lodge was amazing!
We were up close with all of the big 5 except the rhino which was far away but still seen. Our guide Emanuel was amazing. He led us to see so much! We even got to see lions hunting their prey and feasting on a zebra.
