This was an excellent safari with everything we expected and more. Our guide Laizer was brilliant. His knowledge of the animals, birds and plants was excellent. He was always happy to stop and explain anything that we asked. He always made sure we had everything we needed and that we were comfortable and happy. The truck was always clean and comfortable and his driving was excellent with such difficult terrain. He really made our holiday special.

Itinerary
Day 1
1
Start your safari adventure from Arusha, the starting point of all safari holidays in Tanzania. You will be picked up from your place of stay or the airport by our driver-guide. From here you will make your way to Tarangire National Park, which is more or less a two three drive away.
Enjoy a full day game drive in Tarangire National Park, also known as the home of the elephants. Tarangire has the highest concentration of wildlife outside the Serengeti National Park, and is a fun and easy park to explore. Wildlife is abundant and exposed due to the park’s more compact and open terrain making it easier to see wildlife both up close and from a distance. It is 2850 square kilometers making it the sixth-largest park in Tanzania. Tarangire is known for its large herds of elephants, which can be viewed at close range. Other animals likely to be seen throughout Tarangire are; wildebeest, zebra, buffalo, gazelle, warthog, impala, python, lion, leopard and over 50 species of birds.
Day 2
2
Enjoy a full day game drive in Lake Manyara National Park, offering a large ecological variety in a small area. The alkaline soda of the lake appeals to impressive numbers of birds thriving on its water. More than 400 species have been identified and one of the highlights are the thousands of strolling flamingos. From the entrance of the park, the road winds through a groundwater forest area where baboon troops can be seen hanging about on the roadside and in the trees. On the grassy banks of the lake, the wildebeest, giraffe, zebra and the large buffalo can be seen grazing the day away. The mahogany and acacia trees are inhabited by the famous tree-climbing lions, if you’re lucky you might spot them lazing on a tree branch.
Day 3
3
On day three you will continue your adventure with a road trip to Lake Natron, which will take more or less 3 hours. Prepare to be amazed by the volcanic moon-like landscape. Once arriving, a Maasai guide will take you for a Flamingo Walk to Lake Natron, a breeding ground for millions of lesser flamingos. Be in awe by the beautiful and unearth-like nature in the surroundings.
Day 4
4
Enjoy a safari transfer through the Game Controlled Area of Loliondo, which has proven to be a hidden treasure in terms of wildlife. The game drives here are of unprecedented quality. Wildlife knows no boundaries!
Day 5
5
Between day five and day seven the days are filled with full-day Serengeti game drives, aimed at getting at least an impression of the Wildebeest Migration.
Day 6
6
Between day five and day seven the days are filled with full-day Serengeti game drives, aimed at getting at least an impression of the Wildebeest Migration.
Day 7
7
Between day five and day seven the days are filled with full-day Serengeti game drives, aimed at getting at least an impression of the Wildebeest Migration.
Day 8
8
This day you will enjoy a full day game drive in the Ngorongoro Crater, worlds largest intact volcanic caldera. This is the best park to get the chance to spot the Big 5! Nothing can prepare you for the breathtaking beauty of the Ngorongoro Crater. When you stand at the lookout and gaze into the crater, the clouds hovering around the tip of the rim and the cool mountain breeze in the air, will make you discover the true power and divinity of Mother Nature. This visit to the crater will probably be one of the most rewarding experiences of your life. Due to the natural rims of the crater, there is an abundance of wildlife throughout the conservation area that is home to the Big Five.
Day 9
9
Today, after breakfast, your driver guide will be ready to bring you back to Arusha, which is more or less a 3 hour drive away.
Once arriving in Arusha, your driver guide will drop you off in the center of Arusha, your place of stay or the airport.

Reviews
A brilliant experience, very well organised and of a high standard in every respect. Made perfect by our excellent driver/guide John Mwita, who went above and beyond to ensure we had brilliant safari drives every day. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend him. First Class!
Absolutely fabulous trip, made perfect by an excellent guide/driver, John Mwita. We would not hesitate to recommend him and the organisation. Everything was extremely professional and we enjoyed every moment.
Very nice experience with our guide Boniface Mahemba.
We did a 10 day safari through the Northern Circuit, mainly focusing on the Serengeti and Great Migration. Diana at P&W was extremely patient, knowledgeable and supportive when helping tailor the safari to our needs and interests, such as vegetarian diets and additional sights like Olduvai Gorge. Our driver Khalidi (DJ) was also excellent. He was very experienced and knowledgeable about the flora and fauna, working hard and ensuring us a good chance to see all the animals we wanted to see. He was also a very reliable and safe driver, which is important due to all the time we spent in the car. He cleaned the car daily. The Paradise and Wilderness arrangements included their own lodges with accommodation and full board. They also had some amenities like swimming pools. They were excellent and really helped us to relax at the end of the long days.
Amazing experience . Thanks especially to our guide John Mwita, he was so informative, kind and generous with his time and always kept us in good spirits. He is a real asset to the company !
Our trip was absolutely perfect!! We had a game drive almost every day, but every day was a new experience! Our guide, Julius, really knew where to go and where to find the most (beautiful) animals. He drove calm and was such a chill guy. He had an answer on every question we asked. A living legend! ❤️
We had the most amazing trip we will never forget! It was a perfect itinerary and we covered a vast area but never once retracing our steps. We saw thousands of animals of varying species and feel so lucky to have done so. Our guide for the week was Joseph Sarwatt and he made us feel so welcome and safe with his incredible knowledge of the area and the animals. Couldn’t recommend this highly enough.
Holiday of a lifetime!!! What a great itinerary! We had 9 full on days, feel we have had a great taste of Tanzania, fabulous scenery and lots animals on our safaris. We were given a guide at the start of the week that drove us the whole of our stay. He made sure we were safe and happy at all times, could not have asked for more!! Thank you so much Joe Sarwatt for making our stay even more special. Cannot recommend this holiday enough.
This was a special holiday to celebrate big birthdays and it exceeded all of our expectations! Joe, our guide, was with us for our whole trip and his knowledge and expertise really added to our adventure. The game drives were out of this world - we saw the lot, including the big five! Accommodation was unique, very comfortable and we were well looked after. An amazing trip with lots of special memories. Could not recommend enough.
We have had a wonderful first visit in Tanzania National parks. The scenery and the wildlife animals have been a once in lifetimes experience
This was the holiday of a lifetime!! Every single day we were seeing amazing animals. Our driver/Guide was John and he was soo knowledgable and always had the answers to questions. We absolutely loved every day. The lodges were amazing and the staff were all so kind & helpful.
An incredible trip that far exceeded my expectations. It was a trip of dreams. The accommodation was comfortable and unique, creating a great base for the most amazing game drives. We saw so many animals, our guides (Englebert, John and Justine) were kind and knowledgeable, allowing us the time to take in sights, but also moving us along when they knew there was an even bigger surprise around the next corner. The driving was exhilarating and the experience of our guides allowed us to get close to animals and get the best views. The food on the trip was delicious and welcoming after the long days. All staff were so lovely and helpful. I would recommend this trip to everyone!
John, our jeep driver made this the most amazing trip of a lifetime. He was so knowledgeable, great fun, friendly and made the trip so memorable. I think he had the craziest bunch of women to deal with and we all had a blast. Nothing was too much trouble and he got us to every sighting possible. Would absolutely recommend everything about this wonderful trip, it certainly made lifelong dreams come true. Can't wait go back very soon. Thanks to John, Justine and Engelbert.
Well well, what an incredible time we had! We were a group of 19 people in total. We were met at the airport and despite 15 of us arriving a day and a half late (thanks Qatar Airlines), there was good communication from the operator and they knew exactly what was going on and were waiting ready for us for our arrival. The first four in our group had arrived on time and had started their safari without a hitch. The accommodations were all in good condition and had everything required - even down to shower gel and body scrub, so no need to bring these things with you! The staff at the accommodations were just amazing, all smiling and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. Some would even break into song whilst serving food - and taught us to sing in Swahili too! Something I will never forget! But of course, the reason we went to Tanzania in the first place was to see the wildlife, and oh my, we weren't disappointed. Our guide Engelbert was incredibly experienced, knew everything about the wildlife, and was an expert at keeping people happy too! I watched him deal with a few curved balls from people and he never got stressed, he just worked out how to solve the problem with a smile on his face! Your guide can make or break your safari. 10/10 for Engelbert! We saw so many different animals from Elephants, to hippos to rhinos, right down to the zebras and wildebeest, to lions, cheetah and the holy grail - leopards. Engelbert knows the Serengeti like the back of his hand and took us down the quieter 'back roads' where we didn't come into contact with all the other safari vehicles - it was like having our own private safari a lot of the time. In fact one of the days we did have our own private safari, there was only our group, and no sign of anyone else for miles... Would I recommend? 1000% yes! If you're on the fence, do it! You won't regret it! I'm still considering going back next year!
Amazing safari experience. We saw all BIG 5 - lions, leopards, elephants, rhino, and buffalo - and the great migration. The staff, guides, facilities, and food were excellent. Full recommendation for the trip.
We are a family of four with teenage kids. We all really enjoyed our guided tour of the National Parks in the North of Tanzania. Hamisi was our guide and he was excellent. I would highly recommend him. He was brilliant with our kids and made the trip both fun and interesting. He has a very good knowledge of the National Parks and was always giving us interesting information. Hamisi was very keen that we saw as much as possible and we were delighted with what he was able to show us. Hamisi is an excellent driver on very difficult roads and we always felt safe in his care. Many thanks Hamisi for an excellent trip
My wife and I did a 10 day safari experience with Hamisi as our guide. The experience was even better than I expected! After Hamisi picked us up at the airport, he asked which animals we'd like to see the most. We told him giraffes and elephants. Sure enough, within the first several minutes after arriving in the first park, Hamisi was able to show us both of those animals! This was just the beginning. For the following days, Hamisi clearly demonstrated his skills in knowing where to find animals, how he chatted with other guides to get current tips on where to find animals, and his skills at driving the Land Cruiser. Throughout the safari, there was never a single question we asked Hamisi that he was unable to answer. We asked a lot of questions, some seemingly obscure, and he always had an answer, whether the topic was animals, ecosystem, cultural, or anything else, including obscure questions about dung beetles! There was one moment in the middle of the day where a hole formed in the Land Cruiser's exhaust system, requiring repairs. Hamisi handled this very well, stopping at a small town before returning to the park. Hamisi's instinct was to protect us and keep us separate from the locals in this town, which I think is appropriate for many tourists. My wife and I however typically travel without guides, going deep into local villages. When we conveyed this to Hamisi, he understood and we were able to freely explore the town while the truck was repaired. We also expressed desire to eat at the local BBQ joint nearby. He was hesitant, again due to how typical guests travel, but when we made it clear we knew the risks but wanted local food, he agreed and we all had a fantastic lunch together. In the end, the repair took an appropriate amount of time and set us up for success for the rest of the trip. Over the course of our time on the tour, we saw every animal on the list except for the elusive leopard. We were totally satisfied with the animals we saw! Our tour included a few non-animal experiences. The walking tour through a small town was very informative, illustrating how tourism supports the community. A day-hike with a Maasai guide to a waterfall was exquisite, perfectly warm water that we could wade and swim within. One optional addition was to make a visit to a Maasai village. This was separate from the tour and I give it mixed reviews: the dancing and welcome ceremony was great, and seeing into the homes and asking questions of the local chief were very informative. The downsides included that the chief was very fixated on pushing the sales of their handicrafts, lied about Maasai attending school in one of the huts while pressuring us to donate to the fictional school, and lied about the materials used in their jewellery such as claiming that the villagers manufacture the silver discs which are very clearly manufactured by machines. All of this was outside Hamisi's control or influence, so all blame lies on the Maasai village chief. The lodging throughout the tour was great. We chose the middle-tier package which meant we were staying mostly in large "tents" which were canvas structures set up on concrete pads, including full electricity, a full bathroom, and a fan. All of these were comfortable and suitably outfitted. The meals at all of the lodgings ranged from good to great. The box lunches supplied for each day of safari provided more than enough food. In the end, we found that in addition to all of the things we learned and experiences we had, that we had developed a friendship with Hamisi. He is a caring, attentive and positive young man who is an excellent guide. I have only great things to say about him, and we look forward to staying in touch with him in the future!
This was an extensive tour of the northern region of Tanzania, visiting Tanagire National Park, Lake Manyara National Park, Lake Natron, several areas of the Serengeti, and the Ngorongoro Crater. I was impressed by Paradise's advance organisation. Their sales staff had been very responsive to all my questions, and I was able to choose exactly the dates I wanted. And apart from one error, when my guide was told I was staying the night at somewhere that was full and have no room for me, the organisation on the ground was good too. All the accommodation was good or better, and the catering good - if perhaps a little bland - in all locations. My guide, Sillo, was excellent. He spoke perfect English and had an encyclopedic knowledge of the flora and fauna of the region and of the geology that helped create the conditions for them. His driving was excellent over at times very difficult roads. I managed to see all the big five - albeit rhino only at a distance and leopard well disguised - and a great deal else besides. Lions, elephants, giraffes and antelopes abounded. It was pretty much exactly what I wanted from a safari in Tanzania.
Our 9-day safari in Tanzania with Alphonse as our driver was absolutely amazing! Alphonse's knowledge, passion, and friendly nature made the experience unforgettable. He expertly guided us through the national parks, ensuring our safety and sharing fascinating insights about the wildlife. Alphonse's hospitality and sense of humor added an extra layer of enjoyment to the trip. If you're planning a Tanzanian safari, Alphonse is the perfect choice for an exceptional adventure!
The nature and wildlife are amazing. Big diversity of Vegetation and wildlife. Our diver John knows a lot about animals, nature and masai life. Staff in all beach & safari Camps are very friendly. Food & accommodations were excellent.
It was an unforgettable safari holiday for us, and Zanzibar. Everything was perfectly arranged. Really great. The drivers who came with us also had a lot of knowledge and we could ask them anything. Always nice. Toppers! I can really recommend Paradise & Wilderness.
We had a great experience and we had 2 wonderful drivers. They had a lot of knowledge about the area and could get along well with the children, we really had a great time. Despite us sitting in the car for 8 days and sometimes getting up early. Is this really a recommendation to book this trip.
Great trip. It is definitely recommended if you want to experience a real safari. Even the big five considered.
Fantastic experience, super accommodations and fantastic guide! Kipokola knows what he is doing!
Everything was well arranged. Before and during the trip itself. Nice accommodations. Was a super experience.
Great trip, and Boni was a brilliant, friendly guide who knows everything about everything!
A superb, very varied safari in terms of both fauna and flora with a guide who knew how to find the best places to capture all the animals in their environment.
A magnificent family trip with two boys aged 21 and 19. Unique experiences, notably the wildebeest crossing at the Mara River and lions hunting buffalo. Boni our guide was not only an excellent guide during the safaris but also a great companion during these 9 days, also explaining local life to us.
Our guide Clement accompanied us throughout the safari impeccably, taking us to the strategic points to best see all the animals. Already in the first few days we saw all the Big Five!!! We also had a great time with the lodges, both in terms of cleanliness and services and hospitality.
Listen carefully to your wishes and make a nice and with proposal with which parks and overnight stays.
Everything was arranged to perfection, nice people and very neat accommodations.
We made a 10 day Safari trip through Tanzania. Due to heavy rains we were stuck between floods after two days. Our guide Leonard Laizer arranged for us to convert our tour so that we could continue our journey. As a result, we were able to experience the trek on the Serengeti with our own eyes. He also knew a lot about the animals and Maasai people. We had a super nice experience, really top.
Excellent host Took good care of the us safety
We were 2 couples and enjoyed 9 days safari and then 6 days Zanzibar. The planning of the route was perfect everything connected exactly. The accommodations were excellent and also the food was good. Thanks to our excellent guide Leonard Laizer who showed us everything and assisted us with advice and deeds throughout. Thanks to him, we saw the BIG 5. After the safari we were able to relax on Zanzibar. It was an experience to remember.
Shortly after our arrival we were personally briefed on the details of our safari tour. Our driver Richard picked us up on time and we could start the adventure. We were traveling for 9 days and could visit several different parks with different landscapes and animals. It was all well organized and we could fully enjoy the trip. Our guide Richard was able to show us all the animals and explain interesting facts. He also provided enough breaks, water and food. We can totally recommend this holiday!
What an unforgettable and fantastic trip we had! So special and nice to experience this together with our children and children-in-law. Everywhere we went, we were welcomed with such kindness, warmth and genuine attention — truly UNPRECEDENTED! The people in all safari lodges were all incredibly sweet, helpful and committed. Our drivers, Silvester and Julius, were amazing: kind, caring, full of knowledge and humor — we really closed them to our hearts. It was also a party on Zanzibar. In the hotel was really nothing too much trouble: what a driven, warm and attentive people. We felt so spoiled — sometimes almost objectionable! The chefs who pointed out her gluten-free food every night, made extra snacks, and even baked her a gluten-free birthday cake... so very sweet and thoughtful! The managers would come and have a chat regularly, the waitresses were super friendly — in short: everyone did their best to pamper us completely. And how nice it was to meet the man from the holiday fair there again! (His name doesn’t come to mind for a moment 🙈) What a great host — cordial, quick in arranging everything, and with genuine attention to everyone. Really fantastic!
What an unforgettable journey we have made with Paradise & Wilderness! From the first moment we started orientating, everything just felt right. Personal contact, quick answers to all our questions and a travel proposal that was truly tailored to the smallest details made sense. Well prepared we left on an adventure towards Tanzania. After two days of quiet acclimatization, we flew inland where our cheerful guide John was waiting for us. From then on, our 9-day safari through the unspoilt nature of Tanzania began. We got to experience everything from the Big Five to the impressive Great Migration — an experience we will never forget. An absolute highlight (literally and figuratively!) was the balloon ride over the Serengeti. The silence, the vast plains, the rising sun — it was amazing. After days of adventure, it was wonderful to completely relax on Zanzibar, enjoy and let all the impressions sink in. After fifteen days we flew home with a head full of memories and a heart full of gratitude. In short: a dream trip from start to finish. Everything was perfectly arranged, the people are heartwarming and Tanzania is without a doubt one of the most beautiful countries in Africa. We wholeheartedly recommend Paradise & Wilderness to anyone who wants to take a trip that will stay with you forever.
Fantastic! Definitely the guide DjKhalid! His knowledge was phenomenal. Lodges also all great! Recommended for anyone who wants to do this.
It was a safari trip with a lot of africa massage through the interior! Seen and experienced a lot every day. The group also clicked well with each other. Because of the early rise, it was sometimes exhausting days. Made the balloon ride at the last minute, was a special experience. Occasionally slept in the middle of nowhere. The tents were fully equipped. At one camp, a guard walked with you to your tent and 4 buffalo were 30 meters away. Hyenas were running around another camp. Eating in the wild was a special experience. Lunch went in warming containers, so it was also a bit cool. But this is part of it!! Africa ( Tanzania ) they have different eating habits, here they work a lot with rice and chicken. One day we had Jimmy as driver, the other days Emanuel. Top drivers, while driving see if he could spot game. Reason without a map or navigation but knew their way everywhere. Emanuel was eager to learn Dutch words. Closure on Zanzibar was the whole group 3 high with sea view. Made a tour of South Afria last year, but these trips are not comparable. Anouk, the tour guide, did everything possible to manage the trip.
We booked the trip very spontaneously and were very well advised and supported both during the booking and during the safari.
the safari was fantastic with wonderful impressions and unforgettable experiences. Right at the beginning our great guide HAMISI said this is OUR journey, we can decide what our priorities are, what we want to see and experience.. HAMISI implemented it perfectly from day one and the whole trip. It's always a GAME Drive, which in that sense worked out for my wife and me. THANK YOU HAMISI! We were able to see and enjoy the incredible landscapes. Our guide introduced us to all the animals, tracked them down and showed them up close with a lot of calm and patience and explained their peculiarities very savvy. We were also able to learn and understand a great deal about the landscapes, the inhabitants of the towns and villages and the Massei in the Serengeti. With HAMISI we experienced a safari we will never forget. He speaks English very well and understands and speaks German well. HAMISI has always responded to our questions and wishes in detail. For example, at our request, we were also able to get to know a farming family on their coffee plantation and spend half a day on their plantations and the manual roastery having a great adventure and getting to know their lives. Thanks to HAMISI, this trip became our greatest experience ever. We will ask for our next trip to Africa to be guided by HAMISI again. By the way: The lodges and tents on this trip were ALL fantastic, we felt very comfortable and safe, were very well looked after and were warmly welcomed everywhere. The staff and care, food, drinks and views of the landscapes, often from dreamlike pools, were fantastic and unforgettable. See you soon, best regards, Doreen&Frank from Germany
Excellent private guide (Ladan) who is very well taken care of us. The hotels although standardized all have originality, and the food quite good overall. The safari is really good Thank you for everything
In one word: wow. Started on zanzibar, flown to arusha and then on safari One location even more beautiful than the other, seen a lot, super nice lodges with great beds, showers and good food. It's not a zoo so it's not a certainty you'll see the whole Big 5. We came to 4 the leopard we just missed, but cheetahs with little ones and lions with little ones. Flying back to Zanzibar first 1 day to Stonetown (could have been two) and closed at the beach in a nice resort. Thank you Anouk for the good care.
On our 9-day safari through Tanzania we visited Tarangire National Park, Serengeti National Park and Ngorongoro Crater. Through our great guide we had the opportunity to see all the big-fives. He has an outstanding local knowledge and an extensive knowledge of Tanzania's flora and fauna. We had a lot of fun and learned a lot. We would definitely go back on safari with him!
Safari: Tanzania has stunning scenery and wildlife to offer. The animal masses have inspired us. Not only do you see a herd of zebras, wildebeest or giraffes from time to time, but animals are everywhere. The scenery is no less impressive: from baobab trees, cactus trees and iconic acacia trees to the infinite expanse of the Serengeti or the cracking of the salt crusts under the shoes of Lake Natron -- we have had a perfect combination of places that allowed a beautiful cross-section through Tanzania's diverse nature and wildlife. In our safari car we had a cooler with enough water available. We had a lovingly packed lunchbox with us on every safari day. If you prefer to enjoy your lunch in nature, be sure to talk to your guide beforehand, otherwise you will go to designated picnic locations. The advantage of this is that there are also toilets. However, all tourists come together in these places and correspondingly many stalls are often there. Guide: We were lucky to have had an excellent and very experienced guide with our guide Peter. In addition to the typical places to which many tourists go, Peter has also taken us to a lot of spots that are less frequented and where you can experience one or the other rarer animal undisturbed and very close - cheetah, lion, leopard. Peter has a good feel for the animals, did not drive (like some other guides) into the escape routes of the animal herds, but often parked the car on the edge (yet quite close) of an animal group, turned off the engine and waited with us. The result: The animals are usually curious after a short time and come to one by themselves. Through Peter we had numerous wonderful experiences where elephants, giraffes, zebras or cheetahs etc. came very, very close to our car out of curiosity. Only this has allowed us a breathtaking experience with the animals that we had so much hoped for. Full confidence in the guide is therefore very important. Camps: Each camp is located in a different special place in Tanzania. With each camp change, the nature, temperature and wildlife has changed: while it was very hot at Lake Natron, it was quite cool in the mountains at Camp Massai Boma and you were happy to sit by the fireplace in the evening. In each camp you get two bottles of water a day. The power supply was quite unstable during our stay, even hot water was not always available. It is advisable to always have the available flashlight on hand in each tent so as not to be suddenly surprised by darkness.;) Internet is only available in public places such as the restaurant and reception. However, the speed and stability is very poor, which has often led to problems with card payment during Check-out at each camp. All camps are lovingly and individually designed and very clean. The service staff is top: very friendly, courteous and helpful. The food was good. We follow a vegan diet, which we shared before we started our trip. Every camp had this information. We had some options to choose from for every dinner - only with the packed lunches it didn't always work. The variation between camps could be better coordinated. Almost every camp during our stay had pumpkin soup. ;) We would have liked more typical dishes like ugali. You noticed that the dishes were adapted to the tourists. However, we would also like to discover the cuisine of a country.:) If you ever have two nights in a camp, it is worth the camp team to approach local dishes. They often take these wishes into account and are also happy about the interest in the typical cuisine. The Lake Manyara Camp is unfortunately partially inundated by the flood waters a few months ago, which makes some tents and the original restaurant no longer usable. The camp team has set up very well alternatives: The restaurant is now in the heart of the camp and a new tent area has been created -- but the experience that can still be seen in the current images on the site is no longer the same. Here we would have liked more transparency in advance. In general, we would have liked more information about the preparation for the individual stations before starting the trip. For example, we had a hike to a waterfall in one day. The route was a kind of canyoning that would have required water shoes. Our guide had kindly helped us out and still got shoes. We recommend that every traveler bring good binoculars to maximize the safari experience. What we do not recommend is visiting a Maasai village. This service is quite expensive, which would be okay, because you support an entire village. However, the villages are geared towards this: after the typical welcome dance in front of the village, one finally found sales tables lined up in the village, which then took up much of the "tour" inside the village. Too much touri sales show for too little learning about the everyday life and way of life of the Maasai. All in all, we had an excellent safari experience. The experience is also very dependent on the guide. We can only highly recommend Peter -- ask if he might be available for your trip before you start.:)
Zoo to do but very expensive. For the rest it's up to taste. Don't hesitate to negotiate. The restoration remains industrial except for the natural plantin strips which are extra. Lack of entertainment at the hotel because of the ramadant. The person is very intentional and friendly.
An amazing safari that was definitely worth the money we paid! At first I hesitated whether such a long safari was too much, but it is definitely not!!! Our tour guide John was great! A good driver and an even better guide! He clearly enjoys this job! I recommend spending more time on safari and less time in Zanzibar! 9 amazing days he will never forget! We recommend adding activities with local tribes to the safari. We changed the itinerary of two days and it worked out great! Thanks John. Thank you! We recommend 10/10!
