Words simply cannot express the magnitude of the incredible safari experience we had! We have traveled all over the world and experienced many different guides, but our guide Carlos surpassed them all by far. His knowledge was extraordinary, and he seemed to know exactly when and where to be for the best animal sightings, as well as the perfect angles to capture every unforgettable moment. Beyond his expertise, what truly made Carlos exceptional was his kindness, patience, understanding, and attentiveness. With 28 years of experience, he knew exactly how to create the safari experience we had hoped for while ensuring we always felt safe, comfortable, and well cared for. I cannot recommend Takims Holidays highly enough, especially our amazing guide, Carlos. If you are considering a safari holiday in Tanzania, look no further! Carlos will make your experience truly unforgettable. Thank you, Carlos, and Takims Holidays, for memories that will last a lifetime!

We had quite the magical experience on our two hour Arusha National Park walking tour! We had a very special chance encounter with a group of giraffes!
Our Mother & Daughter trip to Lake Manayara, Serengeti and Ngorongoro Crater was beyond all expectations. Filbert, our guide, teacher and now friend, gave us the most unforgettable experience of Tanzanias wildlife, nature and its incredible people. We will definitely come again using Takims Holidays and we will be asking for Filbert. Asante Sana!
We had an absolutely incredible time. Everything was perfect ! We loved every minute of our trip & we look forward to booking our next one inshallah.
Excellent safari! Thank you to Raymond, our guide, and to Takims staff for a pleasant and adventurous journey. Arusha Coffee Lodge, Tangerine Treetops Lodge and Serengeti Migration Camp Lodge provided 5 star lodging, food, service, and extras. The hospitality was top notch. We were a group of 4 (2 couples ) taken to 3 different locations in Tanzania to see up close a total of 42 animals which included The Big Five, Carnivores, Herbivores, Primates, and Birds. We even saw 2 sets of animals mating! I highly recommend choosing Takims Holidays and requesting Raymond as your guide. I express my gratitude to this travel agency! Elizabeth Harpine Texas USA
We had a wonderful safari with the best guide we could have imagined. Masatu had 17 years’ experience and knew all the best spots for spotting animals. He also took our needs into account (such as toilet stops) and was more than happy to answer all our questions about the animals. The comfortable jeep had a roof that could be raised, so we could see everything clearly. A top guide!!!! An unforgettable safari for our family. Translated with DeepL.com (free version)
We had an outstanding experience with Takims Holidays. They arranged an excellent professional guide, Nixon, who gave very knowledgeable explanations about the animals and knew exactly where to find them so that we could take amazing photos. He was extremely friendly and warm, and made us feel very well taken care of throughout the entire trip. All the transfers and transportation services were organised in a very professional way. This company is truly worth recommending.
We had a wonderful experience with Takims Holidays during our recent visit to Tanzania. The team was highly professional and ensured smooth coordination throughout our stay. The safari arrangements in Tarangire and Ngorongoro were exceptional – well-planned, comfortable, and truly memorable. Their attention to detail and hospitality made the overall experience even better. We truly appreciate their support and look forward to continuing our collaboration. Highly recommended for both travel and professional services.
Best hospitality team ever in the park Best view of sunset and sunrise good adventure affordable prices to tourists . Best experience
Excellent and very organized tour operator. Our driver Nerek was just the best! His English was excellent and he was very knowledgeable on Arusha, animals, landscape, etc. He was always on time with a smile each morning. Our accommodations were awesome from safari lodge, bougie tented camp, mobile tent, and farmhouse.... a little bit of everything which we loved experiencing. We did the tree walk which was a nice stop to get out of the jeep and stretch out legs. We loved the Datoga Tribe and Hazabe Tribe tours. For the Hazabe Tribe, it was the highlight for two of my boys. I would note that while we loved it, to inform your decision please note the hike was 5.5 miles in a rugged terrain so wear appropriate clothes, shoes, and bring water. Highly recommend this operator.
Great service, prompt knowledgeable and careful. Great attitude of our guide Gerald made the four days very enjoyable in addition to the amazing breathtaking and unbelievable sights of Serengeti and Ngorogoro crater!!
The trip was amazing! Expertly planned and coordinated by Takims Holidays. We had a great time. After Arusha National Park we visited Ngorongoro crater and saw some spectacular sights! Nassor, our guide is simply awesome, he made the experience 10 times more enjoyable! Fantastic experience overall!!

Masatu picked us up at our hotel right on time. The vehicle was clean. He had water and a boxed lunch for us. We had a great conversation on the way to the national park. The Park was exceptional. We saw so many animals and Masatu what is wonderful about staying in one spot as long as we wanted to take a picture or video. It didn’t matter how long we needed to stay there he was happy to apply. If he felt he could get a better view somewhere else he would let us know. We saw zebras, giraffes, baboons, monkeys, flamingos, bush bucks, and lots of birds. The park is gorgeous. It was absolutely amazing to see baboons grooming each other, and playing right in the street. My husband loves to stand up with his head out of the top of the vehicle, and look around. If you are short like I am, that can be a little bit of an issue. But I enjoyed having the windows open with a cool breeze blowing through and being able to see the animals in certain circumstances.
We had a great time on our 4 day safari/honeymoon trip, and would highly recommend Takims Holiday. We felt so good looked after. Raymond, our driver, has very good knowledge as a guide for safari and also about Tanzania as a country, and made our journey very good. He found all the big 5 in two days, and also made us feel very safe. Thank you som much for an experience of a lifetime! From Halvor and Trine
We celebrated our honeymoon in Africa and with the help of Takims our trip was executed flawlessly. Takims was responsive, professional and very accommodating to all of our needs. In particular, I have celiac disease and Takims was able to coordinate our stay at beautiful resorts that were able to accommodate my dietary needs. We trusted their opinion and experience, and they did not disappoint. Every resort that we stayed at was perfect and we felt extremely comfortable with their choices. We were also privileged enough to enjoy our safari drives in a new vehicle that was reliable, comfortable and fully equipped with charging ports, a fridge and binoculars! Our driver was Raymond and we were so incredibly grateful to have been matched with him. Raymond has such a positive and genuine energy that made us instantly feel comfortable in his presence. He was extremely welcoming and incredibly knowledgeable. Raymond has 20+ years of experience in the role and holds an education which makes him a very well rounded guide. We trusted Raymond with our safety and his advice for our day-to-day itinerary. He also always advocated for us and ensured my dietary needs were met. With his help, it was truly wonderful not to worry about anything. This trip was better than we ever could have imagined!!
Where to start...... We (myself, wife and daughter) arrived to Arusha Coffee lodge a day early to acclimate after the 40 hour trip from Florida to Tanzania. The coffee lodge is beautiful and the staff is amazing. At dinner on the second night I had to excuse myself and head back to the lodge for an I'll stomach, little did I know that was only the beginning of the actual adventure. After a long night of vomiting and "other" we were unable to meet with our tour guide John at the reccomeded time. We contacted the coordinator Sellma (from Takims) who was also at the lodge. She helped arrange a doctor to visit us at 7am the same morning who tested my sugar level, vitals and a couple other things (all normal), he also gave me some medicine and electrolytes for the dehydration. I was able to take enough immodium to get me to the first stop and safari drive (all in all about 8 hours later). That night my wife and daughter also contracted whatever illness I had. John was with us for the entire safari and got us the medical help we needed that night as well. Each morning we would wake up (if we slept at all), sick and unable to meet at the pre arranged times. Each day John was there to take care if us, Sellma checked in daily with me via WhatsApp or through John. Unfortunately we were sick the entire time and still don't know what caused it. We didn't drink any unbottled water, washed our hands frequently or used hand sanitizer, but all three were in absolute hell the entire trip. The good part of the vacation was it was freaking AMAZING when we were able to enjoy it. Each stop and each lodge was ultimate luxury and John was EXTREMELY knowledgeable, he mentioned he had been doing it for 26 years and it showed, he knew literally everything about every animal and plant. If you're going to Africa for a safari, you already know what to expect, so I'm not going to dive too deep into that. I'm going to emphasize the extreme care and compassion from John and Sellma, they even checked on us once we were back in the states. Being in another country like Tanzania, and being fully incapacitated, having a language barrier, and being 40 hours from home is a horrible and scary feeling. John, Sellma and Takims went above and beyond to make sure we were not only ok, but to make sure they worked around our "challenge", myself and family are thankful. John and Sellma deserve way more than I can express and will be eternally greatful. While we likely won't be headed back anytime soon, I will continue to praise John and Sellma to everyone I can. A company is only as good as its employees, and this company is the best.
Our safari experience was elevated by the exceptional expertise of Ayub, who went above and beyond to showcase the wonders of Ngorongoro and Serengeti National Park. He led us on unique sightings and ensured that we witnessed the charm of the wilderness up close. He went out of his way to ensure that we are comfortable. Very knowledgeable. Takims Holiday exceeded all our expectations as they accommodated and attended to our very last minute request. Thanks to Takims Holidays and Ayub we have memories that we will cherish last a lifetime.
Words cannot begin to describe the professionalism, kindness and hospitality we experienced with Takims and our spectacular host and driver Rajabu. My husband and I decided to honeymoon in Tanzania and Zanzibar, and it was a trip of a lifetime. Our flight landed in Kilimanjaro and we’re immediately greeted by Rajabu, he made us feel at home right away! He was knowledgeable of Tanzanias history and culture which we were both eager to learn about. Our itinerary started with a hike on Kilimanjaro and then we proceeded to our first accommodations. Raj always made sure we knew exactly what was next on our itinerary without feeling rushed or chaotic. Our schedule was always smooth and flexible. The minute we started the game drive in mayanra national park, we knew we got so lucky as Raj would spot all of the animals immediately! Making our pictures of the game drive always an adventure. He literally has eagle eyes and would spot a leopard from a mile away! He ensured we always had a lunch packed and would often setup a private picnic for us in whichever park we were visiting. With him as our guide we managed to catch 4 crossings during the migration! We often saw giraffes, zebras, elephants and more but the biggest finds were always the cats! We saw multiple lions and their cubs, and the highlight find was 3 cheetahs in Serengeti, what a sight! Finally after we thought we had seen everything, Raj coordinated with our hotel to drive to us a private bush dinner, it was an unforgettable time. You will not regret booking your African safari trip with Takims and request Rajabu if you can. Best trip EVER! Also a big thank you to Salima who was a wonderful host with the Arusha Takims office. Xoxo
Took a tour today of Arusha National Park. We went with Monkey Adventures who will by the way be our safari guide for the next 11 days. A great park loaded with animals. Saw Colobus Monkees, giraffe, warthog, zebra, elephant, blue monkey, baboons, flamingos, to many birds to count, and bushbuck. The landscape is stunning. Do not miss this park.
Arusha National Park is a little gem and well worth the visit. Eli was our guide into the park and very knowledgeable about the nature of the park and its surroundings. There was plenty of wildlife and Mt Meru and Mt Kilimanjaro were both in good view that day. We also did a safari walk with a ranger and got up close to some of the animals. It’s a beautiful place and I would recommend it to anyone. Farron and Martha
We went to Serengeti National Park in Tanzania and stayed at Lemala Nayunkie Lodge. En route we stayed at Arusha Coffee Lodge which is a tourist attraction/resting point while on your way elsewhere in Tanzania. That lodge is a coffee farm and monkey sanctuary that also houses a really cool art workshop staffed by local residents with intellectual disabilities who create glassware and art for the hotels throughout Africa (available on Etsy too!)! Lemala Nayunkie was amazing!! The staff and lodging were 10/10, plus we saw elephants, baboons, antelope, and giraffes from our bed, deck, and private pool ! We went on all day or 4 hour game drives (you can choose all day or 1-2 drives a day) and saw lions, cheetahs, leopards, hippos, water buffalo, zebra, and ostrich in addition to everything we also saw from our room but within a stone's throw! We were sad to leave the Serengeti but went to Zanzibar Island and stayed at Xanadu Villas. Zanzibar is absolutely beautiful with the Maluuma cenote, white sand beaches, and spice plantation tours that show you why the food in Africa is so delicious and flavorful. Fun fact: most of the world's clove plant/spice comes from Zanzibar! In the Indian Ocean the tide comes in and goes out more dramatically than I've ever seen (Maine was close!) so you can explore tide pools and find a bunch of sea life later in the day. If you have an interest in seeing wildlife and the outdoors I can not suggest an Tanzanian safari enough!
Absolutely perfect from the second we got into the airplane till the second we headed back to California.
My experience included the flexibility by our guide Iddy, to facilitate individual interests, so that I was able to visit a Masai market, and view the process of beekeeping in Africa (I am a beekeeper) and to get some local honey! Also, the guides knowledge of all birds and animals through out our trip to Conservation areas and National Parks was incredible! The elephants came so close, it was a lifetime thrill! Along with lions, giraffe, leopards and many other wildlife encounters.
The best Vacation I've ever been! It was my first time on safari and it was unforgettable. Our guide Masatu is amazing person. During the trip he told us so many interesting thinks. Because of him we saw big five, also he drove extra kilometres for us so we can saw more interesting animals. I will never forget about this 3 days. Thank you for the best experience in my life!!
We would give Takims 10 stars if we could. Working with them to plan our honeymoon in Tanzania and Zanzibar made everything so easy. They answered all our (many) questions and planned the trip of a lifetime. We did 5 days on safari and 5 in Zanzibar and we wouldn’t change a single thing about either portion of our trip. Tehsin was a pleasure to work with during the planning process and our safari guide Harry was incredibly knowledgeable and friendly. Thank you for the best honeymoon!! We are so grateful.
Best tour operator by far! Had past experiences with many operators in Tanzanian but Takims by far exceeded all expectations. Very professional, well organized and meticulous. No wonder they have been in business for over 70 years! Highly recommend them for any adventure.
Great experience for my first time to Africa! Friendly and knowledgeable guides. I felt safe and comfortable the entire time. it was beautiful!
We toured Arusha National Park on our first full day of safari. Our driver guides, Harry and Fredy were amazing - very knowledgeable and helpful.
This is my third time traveling with Takims Holidays and once again they surpassed all my expectations in their seamless service! Our driver Aloyce was fantastic! The moment he picked our group up from the airport, he was very communicative for our 4 day safari itinerary. His knowledge of the birds in Ngorongoro crater and Tarangire National Park was amazing! He even remembered to point out a Lilac Breasted Roller which I had asked to see at the very beginning of our trip. The accommodation recommendations by Takims Holidays were great and exceeded my expectations. They took care of everything including all the necessary paperwork which made our visits to the parks seamless and a pleasant experience. I highly recommend using them, their attention to detail and customer service is terrific.
Me and my husband had an amazing trip to Arusha visiting Ngorongoro crater and Tarangire... We had an amazing time thanks to Takim Holidays, our driver Eloise made sure we were safe at all times and ensured we were able to see as many animals in the parks as possible. He was helpful and attentive! Our accommodations were amazing, rooms spacious, comfortable and clean and food was really good as well!! We stayed at Lemala Mpingo tarangire and Marera lodge in Ngorongoro!! Both places had amazing views...and nice swimming pools surrounded by a beautiful green scenery!! Very peaceful and relaxing!! I will suggest you pack a nice jacket to keep you warm, specially at Ngorongoro crater unless you go in the summer... We did sundowners in the bush and watched a beautiful sunset while sipping mimosas!! Our driver picked the perfect spot!! Highly recommend this company whenever you do safaris or holidays in Tanzania, they're experienced and will make sure your trip is one you'll never forget!!
A memorable holiday trip to the Crater and Tarangire National Park! Takim Holidays provided us with an informative guide/great driver, a comfortable car with all necessities and superb accommodation. They really paid attention to every little detail throughout the trip, and delivered beyond comfort as personalized arrangements were made for us. All in all, a flawless experience!
We usually travel outside the country to celebrate our birthdays.. but due to the global pandemic we decided to explore our country itself and we are so glad we did this. The package was an excellent choice. Takim's went out and beyond to make it a wonderful and memorable experience. Aloyce, the Ranger was the cherry on top. He absolutely knew what he was doing and a walking encyclopedia. WE LOVED HIM. We are already looking forward to our next trip in a couple of months and I am sure Takim's will be just as an amazing experience then as it was now.
The Safari was excellent with Takims having a superb support structure. Abbas was of great help helping us to setup a wonderful trip as per our liking. Also once in Tanzania the vehicle prvided to us was very good along with good support from Kareem bhai in Arusha. I would certainly book a safari through Takims in the near future.
Complete satisfaction with the care of our driver Masatu. Amazing observation of animals up close. A lion resting on a tree, zebras, wildebeests, antelopes, buffaloes. Meeting with elephants and giraffe at a distance of a few meters. Watching lion family in hiding.
We did the crater and the Serengeti over 5 days with Takims travel. It was a last minute trip given the uncertainty of travel this year, and Abbas and Nawel helped us plan the itinerary and finalise it all within our budget within a week from our trip date! They also stayed in touch during the trip to make sure all was good and we got our covid test done and results on time from the hospital, which involved a lot of chasing the hospital up from their side - we really appreciated this :) All the places we stayed were somewhere I would stay again. The dinners were always fantastic and each place had beautiful sunset views and friendly staff. Our for guide, Fred, was just fantastic! I've been on several safaris and he is up there with some of the best guides I've come across - he was so flexible, great, safe driver and just truly lovely and friendly. I will be requesting him for future trips!! We saw the migration - which was amazing !!!! Just the sheer numbers were overwhelming :) Fred also made sure we saw the best the crater and the Serengeti had to offer. Really special trip.
As we watch all our pictures we took during the safari, I must say how happy we all are, we enjoyed every minute of our Safari which was expertly organised by Takims Holidays Tours and Safaris. Since this was my first ever Safari and the fact that I was taking my family with me, i needed the best Tour Company in the country to organise our Safari. I am so happy i chose Takims Holidays Tours and Safaris!!! Every small detail was taken care of. Game drives, we did see more than we thought we will. Lodges were great and Ayub, our guide, is exceptional. Very friendly and fed us with information about everything. TAKIMS HOLIDAYS TOURS AND SAFARIS, Thank you for making our dream holiday come true. Hope to come back in near future. We highly recommend Takims Holidays Tours and Safaris Ltd.
It was a very well organized Safari by Mr Abbas Takim of Takims Holidays he had personally helped me plan the trip according to our preferences and he also advised in selecting the best hotels for our comfort. We had also been dedicated an excellent driver named Rajabu who was quite experienced in driving and also an excellent guide. We also received a warm welcomed by the Manager named Salma in Arusha. Me and my family had visited Manyara, Serengeti, and Ngorongoro for the first time but we had an excellent and a very memorable experience on this Safari. Thank you Takims Holidays!
My partner and I used Takims Holidays to book our safari vacation. The entire experience from booking to the visit was very pleasant. I was returning to Ngorongoro crater after 5 years and my partner 9 years. We were very excited for this trip since the lockdown was becoming mind numbing. We stayed at the Mt Meru lodge, which is a rustic lodge and a nice preview to our safari. They have an animal sanctuary on the property with a resident ZONKEY! Yes, half Donkey and Zebra. A sight definitely to see. On arrival, our guide Nixon (fantastic host), took our bags and sprayed them down with sanitizer to eliminate potential contamination and has plenty of it in the safari vehicle. We stayed a couple of night in the Asilia Highlands, highly recommend and a top notch camp. Their customer service went above&beyond. Takims recommended a hike down Empakaii crater, which was quite pleasing to be around so much flora. Overall, we were very pleased with the experience and knowledge of the guide and the after sale service of Takims Holidays.
We planned a couple’s three-day trip to Ngorongoro and Arusha via Takims Holidays on a relatively short notice to get away from the city life for a bit. We stayed at the Mt Meru lodge whilst in Arusha and Asilia Highlands in Ngorongoro Crater. Our trip involved 2 safari’s (one in the crater and one in Manyara national Park) and a hike down Empakaai crater. Throughout the trip, our guide Nixon was flexible, friendly, and demonstrated knowledge about all the flora and fauna that we encountered during the trip. The hike was definitely something that we wouldn’t have done normally, and I’m glad that Abbas recommended it as an activity that we could do during our stay at Asilia. For me, the highlight of the trip would be seeing all of the big 5 as well as a kill! The lode that we stayed at, Asilia Highlands was incredible! It was honestly glamping at it’s best! Our drive from the crater to the lodge was bit long, bumpy and off-road, but definitely worth the sunset views we experienced on our arrival. The personalised intimate service here was out of this world - so warm and friendly, helpful and happy, always greeted by our first names, incredible! The accommodation was super “luxe” and “instagrammable” - picture clean and fancy dome tents with luxurious bathroom and fittings, cozy bed, all modern conveniences (hair dryer, wifi, electrical plug-ins), super clean, beautifully furnished, spacious, ensuite with flushing toilet and double shower heads and double bathroom sinks. It was slightly cold during the night, but the team made sure to keep us warm and comfortable with a fire place that would be ready for us by the time we got back to the tent after dinner, and hot water bottles under our blanket! We definitely loved every moment at Asilia, and would love to check out their other camps across Tanzania. Thank you Takim’s for always being so professional and helpful.
We traveled with Takims for a two night retreat in Ngorongoro national Park. From booking, to drop off everything was just right. Our driver, Yusuf, was excellent. He was knowledgeable and friendly and in the Crater he ensured we saw Lions, elephants, hippos and Rhinos. After the stress of Covid this was an excellent escape and Takims made the experience totally trouble free (which is what you want from your tour operator). Whenever We travel in Tanzania again We will choose to travel with Takims.
My wife and I Are Canadian travellers. We are not connected in any way with Takim’s holidays. We went on photo safaris in Tanzania with Takim’s Holidays five times since 2014. From the time we step out of the plane until the time of departure from Arusha, everything is organized by them. The hotels, the tented lodges, our driver-guides, their vehicles, every service they provide is excellent. In February 2020, for example, Air Ethiopean lost our two pieces of luggage. The first piece showed up within 48 hours but the second one took 8 days to reach us. Takim’s went way beyond what you would expect from a travel company and the relentlessly pursued the tracking of our suitcases with Air Ethiopia until the suitcase was finally delivered to us at the N’Dutu airport. Thank you Salma! We have never hired a different outfitter for our photo safaris in Tanzania because we are always 100% satisfied with Takim’s. They are a family business and have been in operation for 70 years. I hope you enjoy Tanzania since it has a lot to offer. Great national parks, outstanding animal viewing and very friendly people. . A photo safari is a trip of a lifetime but it is not a cheap trip. One more reason to choose your safari outfitter carefully, as he will play an important role in your overall experience.
We would highly recommend Takims. Our guide Masatu was so knowledgeable and friendly- he was like a walking animal encyclopaedia! he put so much effort into making sure we saw the wildlife and it was magical. A highlight was being amongst elephants in Lake Manyara National Park- they were less than an arms length away! Masatu was also very ethically driven and did not harass any animals, which was something we found very important- we never wanted to intrude on the animals habitat. We saw rhinos in the Ngorongoro crater which will be a lifelong memory! We can't wait to go back someday. Our favourite lodge was the Ngorongoro farmhouse and the kati kati tented camp. We were looked after supremely well at all lodges and dietary requirements were catered for. Masatu had a great sense of humour, was an excellent and safe driver, and we loved learning some Swahili from him! Asante Sana Masatu! Salma, the manager met us at the lovely Arusha coffee lodge and was very friendly and welcoming. She also went out of her way to help us when the airport lost our baggage. The only thing we wouldn't do again was the visit to the Massai village because we weren't aware that we would be expected to buy items once there. (although this is not the fault of Takims!) Perfect! 5 stars!
Visiting people in village and urban situation and short Safari Park visit . We were wonderfully looked after by our driver Ally from beginning to end
The trip was amazing from start to finish, everything was planned and organised, from the airport pick up to each national park visit and additonal suprises such as Oldupai Gorge. A special mentioned is deserved for Yusef - he was an excellent guide and really showed his birding and park knowledge - he also learnt us and some key Swahili phrases, which we enjoyed using throughout the trip! He was extremely patient when it came to photo opportunities and always was keen for us to see some of the best sightings we could find, we managed to see not only the big 5 but also Cheetahs - it was brilliant! Highly reccommend Takims Holidays!
I went on a business trip to Arusha and then for a short safari to Ngorongoro Crater and Lake Manyara. It was a fantastic experience with very comfortable accommodation. As a bonus I got to see a large lion pride in the crater.
Freddy was fantastic as our guide today. Could not have asked for a better day, considering we came in the off season. Plenty of animals, lunch was good and we were well looked after!
We can't gush enough about everything scheduled and organized by Takims Holidays. It was an amazing 8 day safari through Tarangire, Manyara, southern Serengeti, and central Serengeti game reserves. Two nights in each location and the staff, food, service and accommodations were simply outstanding. Gourmet food in the wilds of Africa - WOW. Everything was beyond our expectations. Our driver and guide for the entire adventure, Jerald, really worked hard to get us some very rare sightings and our photos are the proof. It is a long journey from the USA but it was a trip of a lifetime thanks to Takims Holidays. Massive herds of Wildebeests, Elephants, Cape Buffaloes, Zebras, Hippos plus lots of Baboons, Giraffes, Lionesses, Lions along with a Cheetah, Rhino, and Leopard. Do NOT miss a day in Ngorongoro Crater. If you are going on a photo safari you can take the guesswork out of your planning and just trust them. Thanks again and Kudos!
I have done 2 trips now with takims holidays and both times had a fantastic experience. Best cars, service, and overall experience!
Since 2002 I have annually booked this very safari with Takims, accompanied by various German and American friends. Our route: Arusha National Park (Lake Duluti Serena Hotel), Lake Manyara (Kirurumu Tented Lodge), Central Serengeti, Moru Kopjes area (Sopa Lodge), Central Serengeti (Seronera Wildlife Lodge), northern Serengeti (Lobo Wildlife Lodge), Ngorongoro Crater (Serena and Sipa Lodges), Tarangire National Park (Tarangire Safari Lodge).Takims excellent service and their professional staff have made every safari of the past 17 years a success. Their driver-guides are outstandingly good. When doing such a safari take the time to enjoy the various wonderful sites without rushing. Where there is no game today, you are likely to find masses tomorrow !I plan to return next September/October to enjoy Africa's best wildlife destination !
