We just spent 7 amazing days in Tanzania with Lion King Adventures. It was an unforgettable experience! We were two families with two vehicles and two fantastic guides, Frederick and Jackson. Everything went smoothly, from the initial planning with Pendo and Naurey, to the pickup, the wonderful lodging, the food and most importantly the guides who were highly knowledgeable and made every effort to get us to the right places to see the animals. The whole experience was highly professional. If I could, I’d do it all over again! Thank you, Lion King Adventures!

An amazing week with our expert, Joseph. We toured four parks and covered many miles across Tanzania. We were able to amend the Lion King itinerary to meet our needs and stayed in excellent accommodation, with Maasai security at several and Zebra watching us eat breakfast! On the drives we saw everything on the list including 77 lions, several leopards and cheetah, lots of elephant (young and old) and will be talking about this trip for years to come. Joseph taught us how to spot the difference between species and expertly navigated the bumpy roads, respecting the animals needs, but getting us close to the action where we could. Highly recommend this trip.

We had a wonderful family safari holiday with Lion King. We saw more than we could have imagined in seven days. The accommodation was all excellent, in particular the Nyota Rift Valley Lodge which is a brand new hotel and beautifully presented. We were extremely well looked after by everyone, but in particular Naurey at head office and our wonderful guide Joseph who made the whole week an exceptional experience. I would have no hesitation in recommending Lion King Adventures.

After much planning, analysis of received quotes, there was one company that stood out. All our requirements and wishes were solved without the slightest problem. Met by our guides Hamad and Oswald at Arusha airport for safari through Tarangire, on to Ngorongoro and finally Serengeti. The tour was incredible, particularly notable: the privacy, our knowledgeable and respectful guide and the hot lunches. The free cold drinks in the back were also a bonus that pushed the holiday up another level. The experience perfectly blended the nature, culture and general atmosphere of Tanzania.

It was an amazing experience. It was everything we expected and more. We saw everything except for the black rhino. The best part was watching the lions and a cheetah feeding. Our guide Amani got us up close with a great view. I hardly needed my binoculars.

We honestly couldn't have asked for a better guide than Benji. His love for Tanzania, its wildlife and everything that comes with it is absolutely infectious. He's a fantastic ambassador for his country and clearly loves what he does. His knowledge is something else. Not just identifying animals, but understanding their behaviour, their patterns, where they're likely to be and when it's worth sitting patiently rather than rushing off to the next sighting. He always seemed to know where to look, how to approach and how to get us the best possible view. Nothing ever felt rushed, and there was always something new to learn - animals, plants or birds! Another thing we really appreciated was the effort he put in behind the scenes. Constantly on his radio or phone, sharing sightings, picking up tips and helping other guides along the way. And it was lovely to see just how well liked and respected he was by everyone we met, from fellow guides to the staff at every camp and lodge we stayed in. That says a lot about a person. And if there's anyone I'd trust to drive a Toyota Land Cruiser through the African wilderness, it's Benji! An exceptional driver, with a jeep that was somehow always immaculate, regardless of what we'd put it through that day. By our final day, after spending 12 hours together in the jeep, he genuinely felt more like an old friend than our safari guide. And even after all that time, he was still full of energy, enthusiasm and determination to find the next animal. Somehow, those 12 hours flew by. A brilliant character, a great sense of humour and a rather impressive love for Skittles! It's the little things, as much as the incredible wildlife, that we'll remember. His patience, his kindness, the laughs, enjoying looking at our photos and the genuine effort he put into making every day special. We'll miss the bush lunches and we'll certainly be keeping an eye on Simba FC's scores from Scotland! Benji, we wish you and your beautiful family all the very best. It was an absolute pleasure getting to know you, and we couldn't have asked for a better person to host this experience. Thanks Benji, and thanks Lion King Adventures, including Rebecca and Naurey who were a dream to liaise and create with. I'm not sure I can put into words how amazing our safari with Lion King Adventures, from the point we first enquired to being dropped off at the airport. We chose to do this safari for our honeymoon and we were not disappointed. It was out first time on safari and we will definitely be back. The itinerary developed in conjunction with lion king adventures was amazing. Our pick up at kilmanjaro airport was easy and Justin who did the pick up was very knowledgeable and friendly. Then onto our guide, Benjamin, who was absolutely fantastic. We could not have asked for a better guide, who was knowledgeable and kind. We loved seeing the relationship he had with other guides and how excited he was to find and show us all the animals. Our accommodation was perfect and everyone we encountered was so friendly and helpful. I could not recommend Benji and Lion king more. Absolutely 5 star service which has left us feeling like we've had the best honeymoon possible.

Amazing tour. We loved our guide Clement. The entire experience was above and beyond our expectations. He is very knowledgeable and makes sure he meets all of request. The balloon ride is worth every penny. It's a very professional organization. This was followed by an amazing champagne breakfast on the Serengeti

We couldn’t recommend Lion Kind Adventures enough, our tour guide Musa was absolutely fantastic, very reliable and very knowledgeable, we felt very comfortable with his driving too. This was our best holiday by far, can not put into words how incredible this trip was, especially the Serengeti. Thank you Musa!

Did a private tour with Robert for our honeymoon and it was spectacular! The company was very punctual and organized. Meeting up was easy. Our picnic lunch each day was enjoyable. All hotels were all definitely 4-5 stars. One of the hotels didnt have AC but they accommodated us by giving us extra fans and we were able to sleep very well. Service throughout the entire experience was premier status. Our hot air balloon got cancelled due to weather, but we still had a great time and got a refund easily. Robert was so knowledgeable about the animals. He taught us a lot about the national parks, animals, and the culture. We even ended up seeing every animal we wanted to see. Some things to prepare for is all the hotels we stayed at didn’t have heated pools, so if you wish to enjoy the pool, make sure you get to the hotel early in the day when it’s still hot. Also most of the safari cars, if not all, don’t stay cool with AC so def bring a portable fan and sun protectant. Our car had a mini fridge/cooler so luckily our drinks were chilled. It gets really dusty and luckily Robert was kind enough to roll the windows up when it was dusty and roll it back down when it wasn’t dusty so we could get some airflow. His driving was extremely safe so whoever gets him next is lucky!

From the very beginning lion king tours has exceeded our expectations. Communication was great, and they were able to tailor our safari exactly to what we wanted! Overall, it was an amazing experience from the moment we landed in Kilimanjaro airport! We did a 7 day all inclusive safari, which was the perfect length. Our guide Robert was friendly, and very knowledgeable. He was able to be flexible with our schedule in what we wanted, and taught us so much during the safari. We got to see all of the big 5! The hotels were top notch as well. Hospitality from the hotel workers was great, everyone was so friendly and willing to help. One recommendation I would suggest is to look up hotels with air conditioning as not all of them have it. Yes it is a luxury, but if it’s improved to you, then do that! We stayed at the Lake Burunge Tented Lodge the first night. What an amazing experience waking up to zebras and other animals right outside our door! Then we stayed at Manyara’s secret, the food here was also great! . Our favorite hotel was the four seasons, the water hole is a great experience to witness from the hotel. Would definitely recommend going with lion king adventures, they’re a local company that a lot of locals know about!

Trip of a lifetime!! Oswald (Ozzy) our guide was an absolute superstar. He made our trip so special we couldn’t thank him enough. We would 100% recommend Lion King Safari’s. All of our accommodations were fabulous. We were so well cared for we felt like royalty! A special thanks too to Rose in the office for making all the arrangements for our trip. We were completely satisfied with the organization of our 8-day safari with Lion King Adventures. Everything was very well planned and smoothly organized, from the airport pickup to the final drop-off. Our guides, Jafari and Camelius, were excellent. They were always punctual, very knowledgeable and informative, and we always felt safe and well taken care of throughout the trip. The hotels and lodges were first-class, and we were extremely happy with the overall quality and service. We saw an incredible number of animals and had some truly unforgettable safari experiences. One tip we would definitely recommend: don’t necessarily stick to the standard itinerary. It is worth considering using the smaller airstrips and flying between destinations, as this can save a lot of driving time. For example, flying directly to Zanzibar after the safari is a great option. Overall, we were extremely happy with Lion King Adventures and would highly recommend them. A perfectly organized safari with excellent guides and outstanding service from start to finish.

What a great adventure! We just finished our 7 day safari with Lion King Adventures, and it was fantastic from start to finish. Our contact in the office was Florida, who worked with us to make sure our time on safari was everything we wanted it to be. We visited the northern Serengeti, central Serengeti, Ngorongoro Crater and Tarangire National Park. Our guide was Mwita, and he was amazing at finding the animals for us and getting us as close as possible for incredible photos. On one of the days, we saw 48 lions! This has been the trip of a lifetime, and we will definitely come back again and book with Lion King Adventures. Wow! We just finished our third safari with Lion King Adventures and third time with our favorite guide, Mwita. What an experience! First of all, I’d like to commend Pendo and her office team as well as the mechanics who work on the vehicles for the incredible job they do, keeping everything running smoothly and handling all the complicated arrangements without any glitches. This is a professional, efficient and knowledgeable team that handles the planning and execution of the safaris without any issues. In addition to that, our guide, Mwita, has been wonderful for us for all three of our trips here. Over the past four years, Mwita has taught us so much information about the animals, insects, birds and plants here in Tanzania. Having grown up in the Serengeti, Mwita knows the roads inside and out, and the history of the area as well. He has an amazing sense of the movements and behaviors of the different animals, anticipating their travel routes and seeming to know where they will head before they even start to move. So many times, we would drive to a spot and wait for the animals to appear, and without a doubt, they would show up within minutes. We have seen the Big 5 every time we’ve come, and we saw them this trip within the first couple of days… FABULOUS! We highly recommend Lion King Adventures and especially, Mwita!

Our safari with Lion King Adventures was truly the trip of a lifetime, and we could not have asked for a better experience. Outstanding. Our guide, Hamadi was wonderful. He was knowledgeable, professional, kind, and all around perfect. We would highly recommend him. We spent 3 days in the Serengeti, stayed at the crater rim at Ngorongoro, and also visited Tarangire and Lake manyara. Lodges were fantastic. Lion King was clear and helpful with planning out trip.

What a wonderful experience that was. From the moment we booked we got a professional attentive service. Words do not do this trip justice. I wondered if coming to Africa for Safari would be like visiting the zoo, but they are not at all the same. Our guide Shabani was knowledgeable, fun, and an absolute joy to be with for the week. He knew exactly where to put the vehicle so that we had the best view and even predicted the animals actions. We had multiple instances of lions, rhinos, elephants, and more right by the car! The accommodations were top tier and were wonderful to come back to after the heat and dust of Safari. My wife and I are already discussing our next African adventure and would gladly book with Lion King Adventures again, especially if we could have Shabani as our guide again.

Every aspect of our trip was Incredible. The logistics were flawless from airport to airport. The accommodations were beyond luxurious and the food was exceptional. We saw everything we hoped to see and so much more. Our guide, Humad, had great english, incredible insight and experience and got us up close to all the action. We saw Elephants, Giraffes, Lions, Hippos, Leopards, Cheetahs, Rinos, Buffalo, Wildabeests and so much more. This is a great tour company and I would not hesitate to recommend them or use them again. The value for our money was truly exceptional.

This was truly an experience of a lifetime! Benjamin was fantastic, and I would highly recommend anyone request him as your guide. We saw more animals than I ever dreamed of seeing including a cheetah hunting and getting her prey. Benji was so easy to work with and gave us the best possible safari experience. Nickson, who was our office contact, was also very easy to work with and answered all of our questions The accommodations were delightful, and don’t be mislead by “tent”. Our safari was fantastic; we managed to see the "Big Five" and hundreds of other animals. We didn't get to see the wildebeest crossing the river due to the weather, but everything else was great. Our guide, Haruni, was very attentive, and we were always able to view the animals without being crowded by other vehicles. I would recommend his services without hesitation.

Accommodations were incredible! So luxurious! And Gilbert with Lion King was an incredible guide! We saw everything we had hoped for and more including the Great Wildebeest Migration! My wife and I did the 7-day private luxury tour through Tanzania (though we had to condense it to 6 due to our schedule constraints), and everything was amazing. It’s door to door service the entire way - all you have to do is get there. From the time you exit the airport to the time you’re dropped back off everything is taken care of by the friendly and professional staff. Our lodging options (Gran Melia, The Retreat at Ngorogoro, & Nyota Luxury Camp) were clean, comfortable, and offered breathtaking views. The rooms also truly are luxurious, even in the heart of the Serengeti. The shuttle drivers were top tier with their ability to navigate the sometimes chaotic traffic, and our guide Benjamin was fantastic. He was a pro at spotting the wildlife, but also at positioning us to where they would likely be moving towards so we’d get great views and photographs, as well as providing knowledgeable insights to species types and behavior. Food was fresh and delicious the entire way, and everyone was mindful to accommodate my wife’s vegetarian restrictions. The only piece of caution I’d have is that the roads are rough - nothing any tour company can do about that - so if you have a bad back or neck, really be sure you understand what you’re signing up for before committing to any safari at all. Also, the trip wasn’t objectively “cheap”, but this was the premium/luxury option after all. They have other more budget conscious options for those more fiscally responsible, and in our opinion this was well worth the cost. We saw leopards eating, lions mating, hippos fighting, cheetah playing, and many other memories that we will keep forever.

From start to finish, this was an incredibly smooth and memorable experience. Communication with Jovitha and Naurey was excellent—they were responsive, accommodating, answered all of our questions, and made it easy to customize the trip around our preferences. The safari itself was simply phenomenal. We truly hit the jackpot with our guide and driver, Goodluck (aka “Eagle Eyes”), who made an already special experience far better than we could have hoped. He was incredibly knowledgeable and shared fascinating information about the animals, birds, trees, and flora we encountered. He was also exceptionally patient, always giving us as much time as we wanted to watch and photograph the animals. What impressed us most was his incredible ability to spot wildlife that we would have completely missed, even while driving! His experience really showed. He often took us to areas where there were few or no other safari vehicles, which made the experience feel much more private and immersive. All of the accommodations were top-notch, the food was excellent, and every Tanzanian person we interacted with was exceptionally kind, welcoming, and hospitable. We could not recommend LKA more highly. If you are planning a safari in Tanzania, this is an experience you will not forget!

Wow!! Where to begin.. It has been absolutely the best holiday of my life.. From start to finish!! The hospitality of the Tanzanian people made us feel so welcomed everywhere we went and stayed.. But the highlight was our guide/ driver named Goodluck!! We could not have been luckier!! His animal and aviary knowledge would be hard to beat.. We felt so safe and secure the whole time.. His driving skills were exceptional, considering the terrain.. It was obvious he knew his way around extremely well.. But most importantly we appreciated his eternal patience.. Considering my daughter, who is an amateur photographer, was trying out her newest camera.. He waited with the patience of a saint until she got the shot she was looking for.. Our safari with Lion King Adventure was absolutely flawless, and a huge part of that was thanks to Ezekiel, our incredible guide. From the very first moment, he was super organised, attentive, and made us feel completely safe throughout the entire journey. Ezekiel’s driving skills are outstanding: smooth, confident, and always respectful of the environment. What impressed us the most was his ability to find the perfect spots to see wildlife at its best. Every day felt magical: lions, elephants, leopards, rhinos, you name it… he always knew exactly where to go and how to position the vehicle for the best view. His knowledge, professionalism, and calm presence made the experience unforgettable. Everything and everyone was impeccable, and we couldn’t have asked for a better guide. We had absolutely the best time with the safari trip for our honeymoon! It's our first time in Tanzania so we didn't know where to start, the booking team did an excellent job customizing the day-to-day itinerary for us to make sure we hit all the spots we wanted in the most efficient and comfortable way. They also sent us a checklist beforehand of how to prepare for the trip including visa, insurance, what to wear for the safari etc, which was a huge help so we know what to expect once we arrived. The pick up/meet up was also communicated and arranged perfectly, we never felt lost for a second. The hotels are all amazingly beautiful, spot clean, comfortable bed, nice hot shower, good food, and the staffs are all wonderful. Our safari guide Ezekiel is fantastic. He's extremely experienced and knowledgeable from his 18 years as a safari guide, while also always warm, friendly, patient and thoughtful. He always planned the day ahead with us, explain what we would do, so each day felt well paced and well structured. His driving is also excellent which makes a big difference for those long drive and VERY bumpy road! He always drives very safely but somehow always knows where to park for us to have the best view of the wildlife. We saw all the big five, the great migration and many other beautiful animals thanks to his navigation. Thank you Ezekiel and the Lion King team for this unforgettable experience!

My wife and I booked our Honeymoon safari with Lion King Adventures and absolutely loved it. When we first got in contact with Lion King they were very responsive and helpful in assisting us with designing our route and hotels for the trip as well as catering to our pick up in Moshi due to a Kilimanjaro hike immediately prior. Nickson was also fantastic with logistics once we had settled on an itinerary, helping us with the payment and the specific details of the booking. On the safari itself, Adam our guide was brilliant. A truly wonderful person, exemplified by his character. While in the Serengeti, a fellow game vehicle had broken its suspension. Adam asked us if it was okay to assist, before he helped the other vehicle create a makeshift suspension to get them going again. In addition, while on the drive regularly sharing cool sightings and directions with guides we passed and getting directions for us to sightings too! A very calm and friendly presence, he was fantastic at getting us good sightings of all the big five and many other smaller animals (lizards, hyrax, baboon etc), whilst remaining respectful of the animals, maintaining suitable distance. Adam is very knowledgeable about the animals and the national parks, always happy to have a chat and discuss with us! Thank you Adam very much, you really made our Honeymoon special! Finally, in terms of the accommodation and food, this was also excellent. Personal highlights for us were the Nyota Luxury Camp and the Ngorongoro Rim Lodge, but all of the hotels had their own character. The food was fantastic the whole way through. All but one day the lunch on the game drive was hot food made by the hotels we stay at the night before, which was fantastic. The other day was a packed lunch which was still lovely (and filling)! Overall, we had a great experience, seeing our first Cheetah in the wild and witnessing multiple crossings of the great migration. We can't thank Lion King enough and everyone on their team that made our Honeymoon so special!

This 6-day Safari with our guide David was an amazing experience. He was the best at driving and spotting the most incredible animals for us (cheetahs, leopards, rhino, lions....). Thanks to his great expertise and knowledge, we've learned a lot about the beautiful nature and culture that Tanzania has to offer. Everything was so well organized for pick ups, transport, park entries fees, picnics and hotels, that all we had to do was enjoy and we very much did.

We had a fantastic experience doing the Safari with Lion King and our excellent guide Jafary. Thanks to Jafary we manage to see all Big Five very close and the amazing migration crossing river Mara. Thank you Jafary for making this safari memory for life
