Adrian was a magnificent guide, we got to see a lot of animals and always managed to get the best point of view of the animals. Also he gave us good explanation of what we were seeing. The food and accomodation were also very good. Overall a 10/10 experience.

Itinerary
Day 1
1
Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you will check in and go through the security checkpoint where officials will check your required documents. Our tour guide will greet you, take your luggage to our transfer vehicle and drive you to Arusha city. On arrival at the hotel, our driver-guide will assist you with the check-in process and the hotel porter will take your luggage to your room. You can relax at the lodge after the long journey.
Day 2
2
After breakfast at the hotel and a short safari briefing, drive to Tarangire National Park for a full-day game drive in the park. Tarangire National Park is a lovely, quiet park in Northern Tanzania and is located slightly off the main safari route. It is most famous for its elephant migration, birding and authentic safari atmosphere. The majority of travellers to the region either miss out on Tarangire altogether or venture into the park for only a matter of hours, leaving parts of Tarangire virtually untouched. During lunch, your driver will set and prepare the table for the meal of soup. This will be followed by a glass of wine, tea or coffee. After lunch, continue with the game drive until the evening, when you'll drive to the lodge for dinner and your overnight stay.
Day 3
3
Serengeti National Park in Central Seronera is well known for its healthy stock of resident wildlife, particularly the "Big Five", named for the 5 most prized trophies taken by hunters. The Serengeti is believed to hold the largest population of lions in Africa due in part to the abundance of prey species. More than 3,000 lions live in this ecosystem. The reclusive leopards are commonly seen in the Seronera area. During lunch, your driver will set and prepare the table for the meal of soup. This will be followed by a glass of wine, tea or coffee. After lunch, continue with the game drive until the evening, when you'll drive to the lodge for dinner and your overnight stay.
Day 4
4
After breakfast, go on a game drive in Serengeti National Park. During lunch, your driver will set and prepare the table for the meal of soup. A glass of wine, tea, or coffee will follow this. After lunch, continue with the game drive until the evening, when you'll drive to the lodge for dinner and your overnight stay. During the great migration, a million wildebeest, each one driven by the same ancient rhythm, fulfill their instinctive role in the inescapable cycle of life in the frenzied 3-week bout of territorial conquests and mating. Your driver will set up a sundowner table with drinks, and before you drive back to the lodge for dinner and your overnight stay.
Day 5
5
The Ngorongoro Conservation Area and the Masai Mara National Reserve across the border in Kenya, protect the greatest and most varied collection of terrestrial wildlife on earth. It is also one of the last great migratory systems still intact. You'll have breakfast at the lodge followed by a game drive in Serengeti National Park, searching for big cats and the "Big Five". During lunch, your driver will set and prepare the table for the meal of soup. This will be followed by a glass of wine, tea or coffee. After lunch, continue with the game drive until the evening, when you'll drive to the lodge for dinner and your overnight stay.
Day 6
6
After breakfast, you will depart from the campsite with a picnic lunch and descend into the amazing Ngorongoro Crater. Explore the magnificent world of diversity that lies within, surrounded by the imposing walls that encircle the reserve. It is possible to see all of Africa's "Big Five" within the crater, among a vast array of other wildlife including hundreds of bird species. Enjoy a full day in the crater on a game drive. In the evening, you'll drive to the lodge for dinner and your overnight stay. The Ngorongoro Crater is the largest unbroken volcanic caldera on earth and is home to Africa's "Big Five". Here, you can witness Maasai tribesmen living among wild animals and experience exceptional natural landscapes.
Day 7
7
Early in the morning, you will drive to Lake Manyara National Park. Lake Manyara provides the perfect introduction to Tanzania’s birdlife. More than 400 species have been recorded, and even a first-time visitor to Africa can reasonably expect to observe 100 of these in one day. Inland of the floodplain, a narrow belt of acacia woodland is the favoured haunt of Manyara’s legendary tree-climbing lions and impressively tusked elephants. At lunchtime, your driver will set up and prepare a table using the shade of our car, for a full meal, followed by a glass of wine, tea, or coffee. After lunch, continue with the game drive. Later in the afternoon, drive back to Arusha for a drop-off.

We were extremely happy with our 8-day, 7-night safari! Our itinerary included 2 days in Central Serengeti, 2 days in Northern Serengeti, 1 day in Tarangire, and 1 day in Ngorongoro. The entire trip was such an amazing experience, and we got to see so many different animals! On our first day, our guide Max took us to Tarangire. He was incredibly friendly and fun, and shared so many interesting stories about African traditions, culture, and local life with us. We saw so many elephants that day, and being able to get so close to nature and wildlife was truly unforgettable. For the rest of our safari, Freddy was our guide. He was extremely experienced and always knew where to look for animals. He was often one of the first to spot them and would take us to the best locations for an amazing view. He also has a great sense of humor, so there was always plenty of laughter along the way!🤣 We ended up seeing almost every animal we had hoped to see in Tanzania, which made the whole experience even more special. The accommodations throughout the trip were also amazing. I was honestly surprised by how beautiful and comfortable the lodges and camps were, especially in the middle of such wild and untouched landscapes.🌍 I especially want to recommend Escarpment Campsite. The staff there were genuinely warm, kind, and welcoming, and the food was absolutely delicious and beautifully prepared. It was definitely one of the highlights of our stay.✨ We had such a wonderful time from beginning to end and made so many unforgettable memories. This safari completely exceeded our expectations, and we would highly recommend it!
Unforgettable 7-Day Private Safari with Serengeti African Tours Freddy and Linah are the Best! We had an absolutely fantastic adventure with Serengeti African Tours! Right from the start, planning our trip was a breeze thanks to Linah, our contact person and organizer. She was super friendly, quick to reply, and always helpful with all the questions we had before setting off. We went on a 7-day private safari, which turned out to be the perfect duration for us. Our route took us through Tarangire National Park first, followed by the Serengeti, then down into the Ngorongoro Crater, and finally to Lake Manyara. Every single accommodation along the way was fantastic and incredibly welcoming. What truly made this trip unforgettable was our incredible tour guide, Freddy. He went above and beyond to ensure we had the ultimate safari experience. Freddy was extremely patient and took all the time needed so we could capture the best possible photos of every single animal we encountered. His deep knowledge was impressive. He constantly shared fascinating facts and fun insights about the wildlife and their behaviors, making every game drive both exciting and educational. Freddy was super friendly, warm, and welcoming throughout the entire journey. Having a completely private trip made it feel extra special, and it was worth every single euro! If you are planning a safari, we cannot recommend Serengeti African Tours, Linah, and Freddy highly enough.
Our safari tour was honestly one of the best experiences we have ever had. What an incredible adventure! Our guide, Freddy, was absolutely amazing. He is enthusiastic, professional, kind and knowledgeable. He showed us so many incredible places and taught us a lot about all the animals and nature we encountered. We learned so much from him, had so many laughs, and he always went the extra mile to make sure we were having the best possible experience. The safari jeep was also surprisingly comfortable. I normally get quite bad motion sickness, but even on the bumpy roads, I barely experienced any problems at all. Freddy prepared lunch for us every day and always made sure we had plenty of drinks. The lodges we stayed at were absolutely beautiful, and the service was excellent everywhere we went. We were lucky enough to see the entire Big Five, along with so many other amazing and unique animals. Every day brought something new and special. We are incredibly happy with this trip and would 100% recommend it to anyone considering going on safari. The money you spend on this experience is worth it a hundred times over. What an amazing trip, and what an amazing guide. Thank you so much, Freddy, for making this an unforgettable experience! 🐘🦁🦒🐆❤️
Unforgettable Safari Experience – Highly Recommended! We recently had an amazing safari in Tanzania, and everything was perfectly organized from start to finish. The accommodations were excellent, and the lunches were delicious every single day. A special thanks to our guide, Freddy—he was absolute perfection! He showed us so much wildlife, shared fascinating facts, and made the whole trip truly unforgettable. If you are planning a safari in Tanzania, we couldn't recommend them (and Freddy!) more!
We went on a fantastic private game drive safari with Serengeti Africa Tours. We ended up with this operator because my daughter went on a joint game drive safari in June. She had booked with another organization, but because it was a joint safari, it was operated by Serengeti Africa Tours. Our contact person was named Tausi, and she was very friendly and helpful. Communication was very easy and smooth via both email and WhatsApp. Tausi first listened carefully to what we wanted and created a wonderful program based on that. She had a few tips that we didn't follow, but which she was completely right about in hindsight. Thanks to the flexibility of the organization, this could be adjusted during the tour. Our guide, named Gift, was in one word AMAZING. Gift was only satisfied when we were happy. He ensured that we saw the Big 5 and much more. He never gave up. At the lodges, we met Gift's colleagues Sharubu and Simon. Every time they saw us afterwards, they asked with interest how we were doing. This made us feel welcome. The entire team at Seregneti Africa Tours is dedicated to providing you, as a guest, with a wonderful safari experience. We found no areas for improvement, which is why we believe the full 5 stars are absolutely well-deserved.
I went on a safari with Serengeti African Tours in August 2026, in a group of 5 people, for 7 days. It was a fantastic experience. From the initial booking, they were always attentive, especially Evaness, who always answered my questions. We did a safari through the North and Central Serengeti and were able to see the great wildebeest migration, crossing the Mara River several times. I highly recommend staying more than one day in the North Serengeti to see the migration and experience staying in a temporary camp in the middle of the savanna. The Ngorongoro Crater was another highlight, a must-see on the tour. The safari vehicle had water, soft drinks, beer, and wine available in a cooler. The lodges prepared a daily food kit for us (lunch and snacks), which was great, allowing us to make the most of our safari time. The standout of the company for my group was the guide, Lucca. If you have the option to choose, I recommend him. He was always cheerful, friendly, and had great knowledge about African animals and flora. Going on a guided safari is fantastic, Lucca has a trained eye, he could spot hidden animals and knew the best places to look. In short, a fantastic experience! I highly recommend it!
Our 7-day safari was truly the trip of a lifetime and an unforgettable dream honeymoon! Right from day one, we were blown away by the incredible hospitality—receiving a giant, gorgeous bouquet of roses and matching t-shirts to celebrate our honeymoon! The luxury lodges were beyond amazing as well. Returning from a day of game drives to relax and swim in such breathtaking lodges in the evenings was pure bliss. A huge credit goes to our driver-guide, Adrian👍 His communication was always crystal clear, and his detailed explanations made every moment so informative. His spotting skills were mind-blowing—we saw not only the Big 5, but every single animal on our wishlist! Our favorite turned out to be tembo (elephants) ☺️ Adrian also positioned and parked the jeep flawlessly every time, ensuring we had the best up-close views and photo opportunities. Everything about this trip was perfect. We originally planned for the normal 4-5 day safari, but 7 days long was definitely the right choice. From Tarangire to Serengeti to Ngorongoro, the course was perfect. If you are planning a safari or honeymoon, I cannot recommend Adrian and this experience highly enough!
It is hard to put into words just how incredibly wonderful this safari was. From the very first moment, our two guides, Gregory and King David, made us feel welcome, comfortable, and exceptionally well looked after. Gregory impressed us with his extensive knowledge and outstanding command of the German language. He not only taught us about the wildlife but also shared fascinating insights into the plants, culture, different tribes, and everyday life in Tanzania. This made the safari so much more than just a wildlife experience—it became a fascinating journey into the country and its people. His German is particularly remarkable; even highly specialized terms were translated or explained with ease. He answered every question thoroughly and patiently, and whenever necessary, he could consult with King David and perfectly convey his many years of expertise in German. King David is, without a doubt, the best driver and guide one could wish for. With more than ten years of experience as a safari guide, he possesses an incredible wealth of knowledge and, with his eagle eyes, managed to spot even the most hidden animals. At the same time, he always drove safely and maintained a cheerful attitude throughout the trip. His language skills are equally impressive: besides English, French, and Swahili, he speaks numerous Tanzanian tribal languages. We simply could not have imagined a better guide. The organization was flawless as well. All park entries, breaks, and lunches were perfectly planned—even a lunch served directly at the jeep was arranged for us. For us, six days was the perfect length for the safari. The route through Tarangire, the Serengeti, the Ngorongoro Crater, and Lake Manyara was ideal. Our recommendation: definitely spend two nights in the Serengeti! All of the accommodations were outstanding. At Land of Nature Camp, we could even hear lions roaring at night—an unforgettable experience. Every day brought a new highlight. We created memories that will stay with us for a lifetime. Saying goodbye was incredibly difficult because, over those six days, our guides became our friends. We already miss Gregory and King David and can wholeheartedly recommend this safari. Anyone who truly wants to experience Tanzania and enjoy an unforgettable safari will be in the very best hands here.
It was an amazing week. The Peter was really nice, knowledgeable and well organised. He was also the only truck who managed to not get stuck in the mud. We saw the big five!
This safari was, without question, one of the best tours—one of the best vacation experiences—I’ve ever had. We came in with an ambitious checklist of nearly 20 animals we hoped to see (optimistic, I know!), and somehow we saw all but two. Truly incredible. Of course, seeing the Big Five—lion, leopard, elephant, rhino, and buffalo—is a bucket-list moment for many people, and we were lucky enough to experience that. But if I’m honest, I was just as thrilled—maybe even more so—every time we spotted giraffes. And we saw so many of them. There’s something surreal about watching giraffes move across the landscape so effortlessly, especially when you’re seeing them in the wild. A huge part of what made this safari so exceptional was our guide, Ally. With 15 years of experience, it absolutely showed. He had an uncanny ability to spot animals from remarkable distances—things the rest of us would have completely missed. His driving skills were equally impressive, expertly navigating muddy terrain without getting us stuck (no small feat!). Beyond that, his relationships with other guides meant we were always in the know about where animals had last been seen. That kind of collaboration made a real difference in maximizing our sightings. The lodging was spectacular and elevated the entire experience. On our first night, from our tent alone, we watched six giraffes across the river at sunset—an unforgettable moment that felt almost unreal. The second night’s hotel was second to none; I’m honestly not sure why it wasn’t rated five stars. The comfort, setting, and service were outstanding and provided the perfect balance to the adventure of the days. Every detail—from the wildlife sightings to the guiding expertise to the accommodations—came together seamlessly. This wasn’t just a safari; it was a once-in-a-lifetime experience that somehow exceeded even our highest expectations.
It was really great, we got all the info from the start and our guide Peter Jorrojick was super helpful throughout all 3 days of the safari
Our tour operator was knowledgeable about the animals, he was a very good driver even in fog, friendly, professional, and cared about his clients.
We saw the big 5, everything we were promised. The guide Godfrey knew a lot and he was really accomodating. The chef Pascal was just the best, there was a lot of food which was really tasty, we were not hungry at all. Both Godfrey and Pascal were really kind and I would recommend them to anybody, they made this whole safari better. See you again soon!
Absolutely fabulous!!! I’ve given it 5 stars but would give 10 if I could!!! This has been incredible from the moment of booking to the end. Inviolata was so helpful when I was booking and answered all my questions, met us the evening of our arrival for a briefing and made us feel so welcome. Our guide, Dixon, was amazing. He was so knowledge about the animals and birds and had a sixth sense for finding animals that we wanted to see. He was so patient with us, taking the time to make sure we saw the most amazing sites. Serengeti African Tours deserves to be rated Safari company of the year as I can’t imagine another company delivering the level of service they have. Dixon definitely deserves guide of the year as he was just incredible. My husband is 70 and I’m 62. If you are retired and concerned about an adventure like this, don’t be! Book with this company, I can’t recommend them highly enough!!

Safari was absolutly amazing! Our guide found even a rhino and all the rare animals . Food was really good and everywhere we slept was everything Okay
Before safari, me and my boyfriend expected a lot of experiences and great memories and that's what we got. Thank you Serengeti African Tours, guide and LInah, for everything you have done to us and meet our expectations.
The guide Kelvin was amazing and showed us the best of Tanzania. He accommodated to our needs and we thoroughly enjoyed our 3 day stay
We had an amazing 3-days safari with our guide Christian in both Serengeti National park as well as Ngorongoro Crater. Christian was very friendly and customer oriented with a lot of knowledge and knowing the correct spots. Not only did we managed to see the big five (which is in itself incredible for a 3 days safari) but also a lot of other animals very close to the car and even witness a lion chasing a hartebeest. We couldn’t be more happy with our trip. Also the lodges were amazing. It was a very cool experience to sleep inside of Serengeti National park, but also a bit scary at first when hearing sounds of the animals. Travelling with Christian felt very safe at all times. This trip was indeed a memory for life! Also thanks to Linah at the office who organised the trip and was very quick at responding to our emails and providing information before the trip. ✨
Calvin was a good guide! He did a great job to attend to any need we had and also explained what we were doing each day. He has a graet knowledge of the animals and parks and got us a lot good angles for pictures. The company provided great lunches and breakfast and dinner, they did provide tons of water and soft drinks and beer and wine, which was a nice suprise!
I was a little bit scare of traveling solo in a Safari. I really wanted to Write this review for any solo traveler. The service was amazing and it was more than I was expecting. When I have started to booking Lucas was very responsive through WhatsApp and all the pictures that he has sent were exactly the service that I had received. I decided to stay in a Lodge and it was best decision ever after a long day in every tour was perfect to stay in beautiful and nice setup and have a nice dinner. I did stay in Seregeti and Ngorongoro and both lodge were beautiful but if I have to choose the best I will pick Serengeti. The Driver was a person who cares about us a passengers but he also was making sure of being respectful with the nature. Every single person associate with the tour company was making sure that I was enjoying the process. Highly recommended, they take care of every single detail. The lodge team wake up really early to give you breakfast and they even prepare snacks for you to take during the trip.
Our safari was simply indescribable and an experience that we will never forget! We saw an incredible amount and learned a lot about the animals and their ways of life. Our guide was awesome and impressed us with his knowledge. The entire organization also ran smoothly and was super uncomplicated. We had an awesome time and can really recommend the safari to everyone. It was worth every single cent! 🐘🦁❤️
We had an absolutely fantastic safari with Serengeti African Tours and couldn't be happier with our experience! The entire trip was perfectly organized from beginning to end. A special thank you also goes to our driver and guide Ali, who accompanied us throughout the entire safari. Thanks to him, we were able to experience an incredible number of beautiful moments and even see all the Big Five! Everything was simply perfect, even away from the safaris. The lodges were beautiful, the food was consistently excellent, and the entire organization was truly first-class. On top of that, we had fantastic weather, which of course made the experience even more special. The whole safari was an unforgettable experience for us, where everything really went perfectly. We enjoyed every single minute and would travel with Serengeti Safari Tours again anytime. An absolute heartfelt recommendation! Many thanks to the entire team at Serengeti African Tours and of course to Ali for this beautiful and unforgettable time! ❤️
We were very satisfied with our drivers Luca and Emmanuel, and Pascal also worked magic in the kitchen ✨. We especially liked the 2 camping nights in the wilderness, although one night was a bit cold. We wouldn't want to miss a single day of the tour and are completely satisfied. M&M
We did a seven-day tour through the Serengeti and other savannas of Tanzania and it was an unforgettable experience. Lucca's guidance was incredible; he could see the most distant animals, in addition to leading us to see several animals up close. We left very satisfied!!!
We started our safari with the guides King David as an experienced driver and Gregory, a young African with German language skills for our tour through the African savanna. We marveled at the discovery of animals big and small with the experienced King's keen eye, who impressed us with the "BIG FIVE" at the end of the tour. Gregory explained a lot to us about the behavior of the animals, bird species, and also about the vegetation of the Serengeti as well as the Ngorongoro Crater. We were trustfully and well taken care of in terms of culinary needs. Asante Sana Rafiki's, we were a team, and thanks to your knowledge, our journey remains unique and unforgettable. We owe our happiness to your knowledge, your warmth, and your joy of life. 😍😍😍😍😍
We had a wonderful time with many great experiences. Our guide took a lot of time for us, showed us so many animals. We have never seen lions, elephants, etc. so close. We couldn't get out of the astonishment. The accommodations were excellent. The camp in the middle of the Serengeti a dream. You've taken into account our son's gluten intolerance. We are completely satisfied.
