The trip was very disappointing. The guide was often late, spending very little time on the game drive and did not see much of the animals. The campsite was dirty, the food was bad and the car broke down in the middle of the road. It seems like money is being wasted. I wouldn't recommend anyone.

We recently completed an amazing 10-day trip planned entirely by Great Image Expedition (GIE)—a 6-day safari through Serengeti, Ngorongoro Crater, and Tarangire National Parks, followed by 4 days in Zanzibar. From start to finish, GIE handled everything seamlessly from A to Z: Seamless Logistics: They arranged our pickup from Nairobi to Arusha, gave us a wonderful tour of Arusha on our first day, and handled all airport transfers to and from our hotel in Zanzibar. Top-Tier Accommodations & Service: The lodges they booked for us were outstanding, and they assigned us their best driver, who made our safari experience truly special. Thoughtful Recommendations & Daily Support: They recommended the best attractions and checked in with us daily to ensure everything was going smoothly. Whenever we needed assistance, they were immediately available. If you are planning a trip to Tanzania, I highly recommend Great Image Expedition! Thank you, GIE, for making our journey so memorable.
Every day had a same vehicle breakdown, everything went rush, guide was very harsh. The nature itself was outstanding, Tanzania is blessed.
Raymond really did a great job organising our trip; there has been some delays @start but all went for the best! Mathew was an top notch driver, very cautious! I would recommend GIE because one can get personal with the Boss. We skipped Lake Manyara to favour Maasai Village and spend more time in our beautifl lodges.
To be honest, I was a little afraid of Safari. My husband and I have never been to Africa before, and this is the first time in our lives that we have travelled for so long. Still, I booked, because both wanted a different experience. After entering Tarangire on the morning of the first day, we realised that we had made the right decision. I was silent for a while, watching the huge herd of elephants through the open roof of the car. The guide patiently explained everything - so there was no rush or panic in us at any time. It was late afternoon when I reached Serengeti. Small undulating grasslands, hot winds, and occasional zebras and gazelles were visible. As the car moved on, the guide stopped and said, "Look over there" - I saw a group of lions lying under a tree. I was silent the whole time, just watching. Ngorongoro and Lake Manyara were two very different places. The scene inside the crater is so big, so alive, there is stillness. And Lake Manyara - the last day seemed very calm and comfortable. All in all, it was a trip where I repeatedly asked myself, "Is this moment real? " Even though the safari is over, the memory still remains - absolutely alive.
We started with Tarangire National Park. Half an hour after entering the gate, the guide stopped the car and said, "Be quiet, there is something in front." Let's see what! A large group of elephants - with the whole family standing on the road. Tears welled up in my eyes; I had never seen so many animals in my life. We had a picnic that afternoon under a large baobab tree - the kids were playing, and we were washing our hands and eating. I felt like I was in a movie. Then it's time to visit Serengeti, Ngorongoro, and Lake Manyara - every day is something new. The guide was so attentive that we felt like a family, not guests.
My family and I recently went on a 5-day safari with the Great Image Expedition, and it was one of the best experiences of our lives! Every day was well-planned - we just woke up in the morning and got ready; the rest they managed very well. On the first day we saw elephants, giraffes, and many other wild animals in Tarangire. After reaching Serengeti, we enjoyed the lions, cheetahs, and magnificent sunsets. The next day in the Serengeti was the whole game drive - in a word, great! Then we went to the Ngorongoro Crater, where we saw a lot of rhinos and hippos. On the last day of the journey in the peaceful environment of Lake Manyara, different types of birds and monkeys are seen. This trip will be a memorable part of our lives..
Thanks to Great Image Expedition, for handling our 5 day safari tour with utmost professionalism. And the trip was perfect! Each destination, Tarangire, Serengeti, Ngorongoro Crater, and Lake Manyara, provided an incredible experience. The guides were very experienced, the lodges were comfortable, and it was all well organized. We enjoyed every moment of the safari, and their service is truly commendable for safari in Tanzania!
We booked a 5-day Tarangire, Serengeti, Ngorongoro Crater, are Lake Manyara safari, and it was one of best travel expenses of our lives! Tarangire National Park—The first day started, where I saw a lot of elephant, giraffes, and baobab trees. The next day we went to the Serengeti National Park, where we saw groups of lions, leopards, and hugs herds of buffaloes. The views of the Serengeti's vast meadows and sunsets are truly spectacular. We arrive on the third day at Ngorongoro Crater where we see an incredible amount of animals in a huge volcanic crater—from black rhinos to giant buffalo herds! Our guide was extremely experienced and made ever moment special. We visit the Lake Manyara National Park on the last leg of the tour, where the lion on the tree and flocks of flamingos amaze us. Everything was parfait—beautiful lodges, delicious food and the extraordinary hospitality of professional guides. Great Image Expedition organized the entire tour perfectly..
I had the most amazing experience in January, thanks to the Great Image Expedition. I planned a short trip back home to visit family and relax. I chose them after watching videos on their YouTube channel. Raymond at GIE provided excellent experience. He helped me plan a day trip to Ngorongoro Crater, Sarvel Wildlife, and Materuni Waterfalls. It was well organized and very efficient. I enjoyed the tours and created great memories. Thank you, Raymond, I appreciate you!😎
Raymond was so helpful setting up our two week expedition to Tanzania. Arrangements were perfect for two days in Arusha, six days safari and a few days in Zanzibar. Bruno did a great job showing us around Ngorongoro, Ndutu and central Serengeti. The wildebeest migration herds with so many young was a fabulous experience. And topped off with a ballon ride to see them from above. There’s a lot to recommend in local agent to set up your trip
We were a family group of eleven that went on safari with the Great Image Expedition. Our driver, Bruno, and Said were absolutely amazing. We not only saw the big five, but we saw everything our hearts desired. I wanted to see a snake and butterflies, and they found a good-sized African rock python and, later, a very pretty black and white butterfly. My SIL wanted to see hippos and rhinos. We saw both. We also saw lions on fresh kills twice! All we had to say was, "We want to see," and they made it happen. Of course, there are no guarantees about what one will see, but I think a good, knowledgeable driver makes all the difference. After very long days of driving, They cleaned and washed our vehicles inside and out. It was spotless every morning. The Great Image Expedition Safari crews obviously take great pride in their work. Our lodging and meals were fantastic. This was definitely a once-in-a-lifetime experience. I can not recommend this company (and especially our guides) enough. Thank you for a wonderful trip!
This by far was our best trip ever. The wildlife, the accommodations, the customer service, the Hadzabe tribe, everything was EXCELLENT. Great Image Expedition is the way to go. We will be back!!
Our 8 days safari with Great Image Expedition was absolutely incredible. From start to finish, everything was seamless, and we couldn't have asked for a better adventure for our honeymoon. Our guide, Bruno, was great. Not only was he a highly skilled driver, navigating the muddy terrain, but he also had an incredible eye for spotting the animals. Thanks to him, we saw the Big Five and many other amazing animals up close, If you're considering a safari, I highly recommend the Great Image Expedition.
We travelled to the serengeti on a 6 day tailor made trip with GIE (fully locally owned and operated-small family run business) and I was blown away with the professionalism of the organisation. We landed at Arusha and Raymond and his lovely wife Rosemary were there to pick us up. They were super helpful and went out of their way to accommodate our requests for lunch, to be taken shopping and to a place to get our laundry done and so on. They were like family friends eventually. We stayed for 2 days in Arusha. They took us on a one day tour to a coffee plantation which was very enjoyable. Then we drove into the Serengeti with Bruno. We stayed in tented lodges for 6 days. We opted for the luxury tent options and I was amazed by how comfortable and luxurious they were. Absolutely 5 star places! Bruno was very passionate about his work again going out of his way to show us the animals, super professional and extremely knowledgeable. He could pick up fresh lion footprints on the trail and we followed for a bit and were rewarded with seeing them. He had an encyclopedic knowledge of the birds locally and could accurately identify them and showed us in his book of birds in the Serengeti. At all times, the team came across as very helpful and genuinely concerned for our welfare. What especially endeared me was how down to earth and friendly these guys are. I can also say the organisation is super honest. I got a receipt for all expenses and I can safely say, I would trust these guys with my life (and my money). So, if you are looking for an honest tour operator, go with GIE.
We went on a 5 day private Safari from Sunday to Thursday with our 3 year old. Absolutely faultless and spectacular experience with Raymond and Bruno! We were picked up from Kilimanjaro Airport and taken to our pre safari Lodge - ALL of the accommodation chosen were perfect! We also had a night in a lovely luxury tent in the Serengeti! Raymond is so considerate and planned the trip perfectly with our little explorer, taking into account what she would need to have a comfortable journey. He advised really well and communicated exceptionally before our trip. Payment was a smooth online transaction beforehand to secure the trip. Food was 10/10 - we looked around and we definitely had the best guides with us. They really are 5* Our most memorable part was the picnic in the Serengeti... we will never forget that magical time! Ok so WE SAW ALL THE ANIMALS! Lions, elephants, leopards, cheetah, rhino and Raymond's favourite... THE HONEY BADGER 🤣 BOOK WITH THEM YOU WILL NOT REGRET IT! So much to say, they made us laugh, almost cried when we had had to say bye 😞😓 Thank you so much Raymond and Bruno for giving us memories which will last a lifetime. Please say in touch 🙏
I had an unforgettable safari with Raymond’s team. The tailored made itinerary for me as solo woman traveller, quick and easy communication and well controlled within my budget with quality accommodations! Big appreciation Raymond brought me to dinner to feel downtown Arusha. I had an amazing 5d4n safari with Godlistern @godlistern_mathew, my private guide and professional driver guide @mbechetero. They showed me the beauty of Serengeti national park, close to wildlife but feeling safe. They explained the different habit of wildlife, answer my questions with knowledge and experience. They are passionate and taking care of me well. We had lots of fun ! In total of 14 days tour, I’ve been to Serengeti, ngorongoro crater, tarangire and Zanzibar. I am so satisfied with this journey, even there were small problems in between they tried there best to solve. I would recommend Raymond’s team to those who want to explore the last garden of Eden in the world !
It was an unforgettable trip with affordable price! A dream come true. We had the best 5days northern circuit of Tanzania. It was breathtaking and will always be remembered! Thanks to Raymond ❤️🙏🏻
Unique and unforgettable experience. We have seen all the animals with close encounters, especially in the Serengeti Park, which is something exceptional. The tour of the parks was organized in the best way, with a super comfortable car. Our guide was very knowledgeable about everything and was impeccable. The only regret is missing the last day for the journey to the airport because the road to go was really so much.
We spent 5 days of safari with Great Image Expedition, we discovered the Seregnti and the crater of Ngorongoro. It was both magical and spectacular. We saw everything, really all the animals we wanted to meet. The lodges recommended by Raymond did not disappoint us, only the reverse. Thank you Great Image for this unforgettable experience.
