The whole experience was truly wonderful! Starting from Arusha, we visited Lake Natron and then went on safari in Serengeti, Ngorongoro, and Tarangire National Parks. A beautiful loop tour that made us dream with our eyes wide open. But for everything to run so smoothly, it is essential to have a reliable, skilled, and experienced driver and guide. We would therefore like to extend a special and affectionate thanks to our invaluable Dieter! With Dieter, we saw all the wonders of these enchanted places, always with the utmost respect for Mother Nature and local regulations.

Itinerary
Day 1
1
After a safari briefing in the morning and an approximately two-hour drive, you will arrive at Tarangire National Park. Giant baobab trees, bush savannah, and seasonal marshes add to the wonder of this nature reserve. Tarangire is considered one of the best places to view elephants up close. The park is also home to buffaloes, zebras, and wildebeests, which are always closely followed by a range of predators such as lions. Leopards are seen now and then but cheetahs are rarely spotted here. From the open roof of the safari jeep, you will be able to absorb the landscape and watch the animals. In the late afternoon, you will leave the park.
Day 2
2
After breakfast, you will travel via the cooler highlands towards the eastern Serengeti. You’ll reach the plains of Serengeti National Park by midday. This park is the largest in Tanzania and has a diversity of habitats and landscapes—short grass plains, savannah, thick bush, swamps, and lakes. Bizarre rock formations called kopjes dot the grassy landscape. Predators are often seen here. The Serengeti is famous for the yearly migration when hundreds of thousands of wildebeests and zebras trek to find fresh grass and water.
Day 3
3
This morning you will continue with your game drives in the Serengeti. At noon you will leave for Ngorongoro Conservation Area. As soon as you reach the edge of the Ngorongoro Crater, you will see the giant caldera below—which makes for a breathtaking view.
Day 4
4
After an early breakfast, you will descend over 600 meters into the crater to view wildlife. Supported by a year-round water and food supply, the Ngorongoro Conservation Area is home to a vast array of animals, including herds of wildebeest, zebra, buffalo, eland, warthog, hippo, and giant African elephants. Another big draw card to this picturesque national park are its predators, which include lions, hyenas, jackals, cheetahs, and the ever-elusive leopard—which sometimes requires a trained eye to spot. We will visit Lake Magadi, a large but shallow alkaline lake in the southwestern corner, which is one of the main features of the crater. Many flamingos, hippos, and other water birds can usually be seen here. In the late afternoon you’ll transfer to the lodge for dinner and your overnight stay.
Day 5
5
Lake Manyara National Park is dominated by the lake of the same name, which attracts large colonies of water birds. Particularly impressive are the pink-colored flamingos, but many other bird species such as cormorants, pelicans, and storks can also be found here. The park is also famous for its tree climbing lions. During the safari you will also see elephants, zebras, giraffes, buffaloes, hippos, and many other animal species. After the game drive you will head to Arusha and the airport.

My wife and I spent six wonderful days on safari with our guide, Dieter, who proved to be knowledgeable, helpful, attentive, precise, and friendly. We couldn’t have wished for anything better.
We spent 6 wonderful days in Tanzania's national parks. Kisambi Tours is a reliable agency with highly qualified staff. Our guide, Reymond, was like family from day one; we truly appreciated his dedication and professionalism. Highly recommended! A trip we'll never forget.
We had an amazing experience in northern Tanzania. Everything was very well organized by Kisambi Tours. We first stayed in Materuni, experienced a waterfall and coffee and then headed to Tarangire, Serengeti and Ngorongoro for an amazing safari we will never forget. In Materuni we were guided by Silvester who did an amazing job. Raymond picked us up at the airport and then drove us safely from Materuni to Arusha. Our safari guide was Sale, who drove us safely from park to park and showed us what the nature has to offer, as well as explaining a lot about the animals, nature and local cultures. All in all we would recommend this company for an u forgetable tanzanian experience.
It was an amazing trip through Serengeti, Ngorongoro and Tarangire parks in Tanzania thanks to our guide and driver, Mr. Dieter!
Our safari with Kisambi Tours was absolutely unforgettable! From start to finish, everything was incredibly well organized and personal. Our guides, Mike and Dieter, were true professionals. Not only were they extremely knowledgeable about every aspect of the national parks, but they also went above and beyond to make sure we got to see the Big Five (and more!). Their passion for wildlife and nature was infectious, and they made each game drive feel like a new adventure. A special shoutout also goes to Elisanthe, the owner, who was always available both before and during the trip to answer any questions or solve any issues. Even after the safari, when we realized we had forgotten something in the jeep, he made sure we got it back. That kind of dedication really makes a difference. If you’re looking for an authentic safari experience in Tanzania that also supports the local community, Kisambi Tours is the way to go. We couldn’t have asked for a better journey. Highly, highly recommended!
I went on safari with my boyfriend in July 2025 and we had the most incredible adventure exploring Tarangire, Serengeti and Ngongoro National Parks in 6 days. Our experience was unforgettable also thanks to our guide Eric. He was professional but also friendly and his understanding of the wildlife, landscape and local culture made the trip both exciting and educational. If you're planning a safari, we highly recommend it.
We have been to Africa for the first time and this is our first safari. We couldn't have asked for anything better. Our guide Dieter was exceptional. He accommodated all our requests, even taking us on a safari at dawn for more days. He was very patient and kind. Thanks to Dieter we were able to see all the big five in addition to the beautiful landscapes. He also gave us many explanations about the various animals and the local culture. We recommend this company and the guide Dieter! We will definitely be back and will rely on him! Thanks again to Dieter and the company for making our experience awesome!
We had an unforgettable safari experience thanks to Kisambi tours. Elisante was easily reachable and very responsive while preparing our trip, ensuring to tailor it to our needs. Our guide Dieter has a perfect knowledge of all the parks we visited and we got to see the big five and so much more thanks to him. I highly recommend working with them for your next safari !
Tanzania Safari on your own? I kind of thought I was crazy to do this, but a friend who has done Safari 3x said it is her dream to have the truck entirely to herself. And now, I understand why. I have never felt so spoiled. If you are thinking about a Tanzania or Tanz/Kenya Safari, I can highly r Kisambi Tours & my guide, Elvis. It was a dream. We saw the big five +++. Elvis has 20 years of experience and knows exactly where to go every day. He does not listen to the nattering on the radio, people call him because he has 20 years of friendships in the Parks. He made sure everything was perfect and is terrific company. The trucks from the big companies looked crowded & uncomfortable. And when I was in the hotels and camps, people that were on long tours in big groups said there were some fractures in the groups & people not getting along. It's a hot & dusty AMAZING experience, so my very small group of just me and Elvis 🤣 got along just fine! The owner, Elisante, checked in with me on WhatsApp often, to make sure everything was going smoothly. I'm quite sure the big big companies do not do that :-). If you're thinking solo Safari, do it. I'm so glad I didn't book with a tour company. I'm so sad it's over, but so glad it happened ❤️🦛🦓🦒🦁🦏
Dieter was an excellent guide, who drove us safely to every place. He knew all the zones and allowed us to see so many animals. He helped us in deciding when to leave in the morning, was kind and recognized/explained so many animals. We are really grateful to have travelled with him.
Everything was excellent: communication before the adventure, drivers, accommodations, food, knowledge and personality of guides. Special shout out to Jerry, Gabriel, and our amazing Serengeti guide, Amos.
• nice hospitality • very kind and polite staff • nice and well spend calendar across the days • top safari and mountain activities • on top of the overall experience we learn about Tanzania culture, tribes, plantations etc.
Incredible experience, very complete safari. The guides David and Raymond have become part of our family, and we of theirs. Competent, kind, and always available for any request.
We did a multi-day safari tour with our guide Godlove. His passion for his profession was blown away and he took us all into his world. Godlove did not always take the most obvious route and showed us unique places. An experience to remember! Furthermore, communication with Elisante was always very good.
Beautiful experience, well-organized trip, in good company with the Timothy Driver and the Innocent Guide, together with alein and kelvin of the second jeep of the group. Very good drivers and knowledgeable guides, made us enjoy a fantastic holiday to discover the serengeti and the ngorogoro, accompanied by the chef's staff who introduced us to the good food of Tanzania. Recommended!!!
Gorgeous tour, you think you have already seen everything but in the end nature surprises you every time. The exceptional guides / drivers, were very attentive to our every need. Thanks to Aleni, Kelvin, Innocent and Timothy and the kitchen staff.
