When we were looking to book our safari a friend of ours suggested to speak with Travel Wise. From the first day I got in contact with Neema at travel wise it was an amazing customer experience. They were always available and quick to answer any questions. They were able to make last minute changes as we needed them. They were there to pick us up from the air port and had an incredible guide, Frank Robert. Our guide Frank was on of the best, he knew where to be when to be and always made sure we had a front row view to all the action. Frank also made sure the jeep was clean and fresh every morning. This is something that I didn't see many other drivers/guides do. All in all Travel Wise provided a once in a life time experience and would suggest them to any of my friends or family.

We were really nervous booking online because of all the scams you hear about, but Donald was so clear, honest, and reassuring every step of the way. He made the whole booking process straightforward and stress-free, which meant the world to us. Our driver Joshua was incredible — truly the best guide we could have asked for! He was so knowledgeable about the animals, the Serengeti, and Ngorongoro Crater — he knew all the history and facts, and shared them so beautifully. He was also so friendly, kind, and made our 3-day journey completely comfortable and safe — especially as we were two young girls travelling together. We felt looked after the whole time. After our safari, we headed to Zanzibar, and Donald was still there to help! He gave us great guidance on the best excursions and how to avoid scams or overpaying tourist prices — such a huge help. With so many safari companies to choose from, I used a booking site to narrow down the options, and there were surprisingly few companies that offered tours for solo travelers. Wise Safaris was one of them. As a woman traveling alone, I was a little nervous at first. However, my guide was incredibly attentive. Not only did he explain the local culture and wildlife in great detail, but he was also constantly checking on my well-being, the surroundings, and everything else going on around us. Thanks to his care and attention, I was able to enjoy the safari comfortably and to the fullest. I asked my guide countless questions about the animals throughout the safari, and as far as I can remember, there wasn’t a single question he couldn’t answer. His knowledge of wildlife was truly impressive. During the safari, the guides communicated with each other by radio and shared information about where animals had been spotted. Thanks to this, I was able to see all of the Big Five without missing a single one. I was also impressed by how focused my guide was while driving. He constantly scanned the surroundings for animals, almost like a hunter, while keeping his eyes on the road. I could really tell that he was dedicated and took his job seriously. I also hired a photographer, and this was one of the best decisions I made. Every time we encountered an animal, he always worked to capture the best possible shots, which allowed me to focus entirely on enjoying the animals with my own eyes. He also took photos of me watching the animals and captured a variety of different moments throughout the trip, which became wonderful memories for me. The day after the safari ended, he shared all the photos he had taken with me, and I was absolutely blown away by the quality. He is an incredible photographer. There were so many amazing photos that were on a completely different level from anything I could have taken myself, and I was genuinely moved by them. It is not easy to find a photographer who is equally skilled at capturing both wildlife and people, but he was excellent at both. With so many safari companies out there, it can be difficult to know which one to choose, but I wholeheartedly recommend Wise Safaris. We have just returned from an unforgettable 5-day safari with Travel Wise, and the trip was absolutely amazing! The agency: Everything was carefully planned and ran very smoothly. They arranged our pickup from our hotel and took care of everything from that point on, including airport transfers in Zanzibar, our flight to Arusha, the two flights to Northern Serengeti, and all our accommodations throughout Serengeti, Ngorongoro, and Tarangire. The flight connections were perfectly coordinated, and all the accommodations were excellent. The food was delicious and very generous. Communication was easy and efficient throughout the trip, and the Travel Wise team even checked in with us during the safari to make sure everything was going well. The guide: Looking back, we realize how much a successful safari depends on having an amazing guide, and ours was outstanding. His name is Joshua, and he was incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and professional. He is an excellent driver and was very skilled at navigating such a vast area and challenging roads. We booked with Hope Moses/Travel Wise directly through Whatsapp. The whole process was seamless - Hope always answered our questions promptly and had everything arranged to give us a great experience when we arrived. Our guide, Samuel, was a wonder of knowledge about the animals of the Serengeti and Tanzania and always managed to get us the best viewing spots for seeing the Big 5 and also the Wildebeest migration. The lodges offered a variety of experiences - my favorite was the Tukaone Weaver's Camp for the authenticity of staying in the wild.. but still having great food, friendly people, running water in our tent... We strongly recommend booking with this company! 3 things we did not realize before we went: 1) The elevations will be similar to Denver in the US so expect some shortness of breath. 2) The road dust from the safari vehicles will be horrendous - take masks to protect your lungs. 3) The roads are gravel washboard and potholes so expect a lot of "african massages" But it is all worth it! Africa is amazing. Have fun!

We did a 3 day Safari. We had a great experience with Travel Wise Safari. Everything was perfectly planned and organized. We made it in our holiday in Sansibar. From picking us up at our hotel in Sansibar, to bringing us back, everything ran without any issues or delays. It was a private tour, only me and my girlfriend..- and still cheaper, than many other companies. Our guide was such a nice guy, so friendly and funny, spoke our language, answered all our questions, the hotels were great, clean, beautiful, the food for all days was very good and more than enough. We saw 4 of the big 5, it was the the best experience of our holiday. I would definetely recommend Travel Wise Safari. Without a doubt. If we make a 2nd Safari anytime in the future again, I would definetely choose Travel Wise Safari for it.

We had a great tour with guide David. We saw almost all the promised animals and more. David is a profund expert and he guided as in promper German.

We had the best Safari Experience on our 3day Safari tour with our Guide Renald and the driver Frankie. Both of them made our journey breathtaking. We saw every animal we hoped for. Every step was perfect organized. The 3 different parks were all very interesting and showed us everytime different animals. Our Guide Renald explained everything very good and made sure that we had a great time. Our driver Frankie did the best job ever by taking us safe around every spot there was. All in all I have to say that this safari was the best experience about our trip. Thank you so much again!!

We booked a 3-day private safari with Travel Wise Safari for our honeymoon, including a personal guide and photographer—and it turned out to be one of the most unforgettable experiences of our lives. What stood out the most was how they kindly supported us not once, but twice, in helping us change into a wedding dress for photo shoots in iconic locations like under baobab trees and across the stunning savanna. These special moments, captured so beautifully by the photographer, will stay with us forever. The team was incredibly flexible with our requests, and we always felt well taken care of. There’s truly so much to see in Tanzania that I highly recommend planning as long a safari as possible. Our 3 days were great, but more time would have made it even more enriching. Also, mornings and evenings can be cold—around 15°C (59°F) during our visit in late June—so be sure to bring warm clothing. And since there’s a lot of dust during game drives, a mask is helpful too. One note: I would not recommend The Charity Hotel. The room was dark and damp, and the bathroom and towels were not clean. All our other accommodations were wonderful—this was the only exception. Overall, Travel Wise Safari is a thoughtful, reliable company that helped us create beautiful memories. We highly recommend them, especially for honeymooners looking for a personalized and romantic experience.

We had the privilege to enjoy a 5-Day Private Tanzania Safari in Segerengeti NP, Ngorongoro Crater and Tarangire NP. We really much enjoyed it!! Everything was well organised from the beginning. Our consultant – Hope - tailored us a perfect tour based on our requirements. She was always very responsive and adapted our changes to perfection. The Hotels & Lodges were outstanding. We even had a Swimming Pool in one of the places at the beginning and end of our journey. As a family with a little wild 7 years old Son we wanted to see us much wildlife as possible but having relaxed times in the same way. The tour was very well balanced with driving times, game drives and relaxed times in the lodges. There was even time that our Son could play football with the staff in the lodge area :-) Our Guide – Issac – is a very smart, experienced and authentic person. He shared so much knowledge about the lifestyle and culture of the Masai and the animals & wildlife sceneries. He showed fully respect to the animals and due to the fact that he is a very professional driver we always felt very safe and comfortable being with him. We had so many loughs and fun together and the time with him felt like a big family :-) Thank You! An absolutely New Years present for us is that we had the pleasure to see all of the “Big Five” and even all of the “Ugly Five” as well :-) Overall we really want to say that this tour is way over our expectations and we can really recommend it! We had a great time on the Safari. Meshack was wonderful, he was very communicative and helpful, and so kind. He planned everything out for us so well and was quick to answer any questions I had. The accommodations were beautiful and the price of the safari was so affordable, especially compared to others. Frank, our driver was great, he had a lot of knowledge and put us on the best spots to see the animals. We had an unforgettable trip and that was because of Meshack and Frank.

This is a new lodge in the Tarangire area of Tanzania. They opened in June 2024. Large herds of elephants, and other animals as well as over 300 bird species. It's a lovely place with very friendly staff, and very good individual lodges. Food was great.

We made a 4 days Safari Trip, including flights and transfers from Zanzibar and back. We had an amazing time, met super cool people in our group and saw sooo many wild animals!! The camps were super nice (we would recommend a thick jacket in the tents :D) and the food was very typical and delicious! Everything was organized perfectly and we would recommend it to everybody!!!

The safari was great :)! We got in touch with Meshack, and he organised everything to fit our wishes and made sure that we enjoyed the experience. The accommodations were well chosen (e.g. we spent a night in the middle of the Serengeti) and the food was great. We saw a lot of animals, even lions and elephants up close!!! I would definitely recommend the safari agency, everybody was so nice to us.

The safari was a perfect trip from start to finish. We were picked up from the hotel in Zanzibar on the day of departure and driven to the airport for the flight to Tanzania. Our luggage, which we did not need on the safari, was stored by the driver for the duration of the safari and brought back when we were picked up from the airport after the safari. In Arusha we were welcomed by the organizer and our guide David. Then the safari started. We felt very well looked after from the first moment. David was a really good guide. On the drive to the first national park he explained a lot to us. We saw a lot of animals from day one. David often saw them minutes before us and just said "there's an ostrich / wildebeest / etc." For us, they were just points in the distance at the time. The highlights were the cheetahs on the first day, the lions in the Serengeti and the search for the leopard (David developed a great ambition to find it for us) - which we unfortunately didn't find in the end. All in all it was a wonderful trip. Many thanks again to our guide David and the whole TravelWise team for the great organization before sind after the trip.

Meshack and the team are very friendly and quick to respond. I chose to do a multiple day group safari and spent a couple days on zanzibar. I was added to a group of people. Everyone booked through another company. Travel wise offers the tours for a budget price. You can get a more budget price at other organisations, but Travel wise really stood out for me because of their customer service. They take the wishes of the customer into account and build a travel plan from there. No request was too crazy. Also, a lot of things were included in the price, like transportation to the airport. I would choose this company again if i go back to Tanzania! The group safari brings you to beautiful scenery and close encounters to animals. It is an amazing experience! Zanzibar is very relaxed and has stunning beaches. The combination Safari and zanzibar were a great combination!

I'll be honest. At first I even requested a refund. We arrived to the place from where the safari car was supposed to take me. Bruno, one of the organazers of Travel Safari said the car is about to come. 15 min passed. No car. 25 min passed - no car. Then he said let's get into the car and rush towards the safari car. That looked really suspicious for me. And I said about it. And requested a refund. But it turned out that the car really came. And 4-day safari was very very good. We had a professional guide named Mike. Good company. 3 Italians. 2 Danish. And me. The views were amazing. We saw a piece of a Big Migration. Big 5. Nature. Camping sites and tents were good. I liked the experience and I remembered it hopefully for my whole life. Thank you, guys! I know, you're starting out your business. Thank you for your really good work! I appreciate it!

It was when one of my dreams came true! The main purpose of trip was to see wild animals with my own eyes. Animals and nature were beautiful! Also I love very friendly Tanzanian people! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Safari of a Lifetime! From the first WhatsApp contact with Angela, everything was perfectly arranged. She always responded quickly, put together a completely customized safari, and when Arusha Airport unexpectedly closed, she immediately arranged a new flight and transport. The trip not only met all our wishes, but far exceeded them. Our guide Franky was absolutely fantastic. His knowledge of nature and wildlife is impressive and even on the very bad roads between Ngorongoro and the Serengeti, we always felt safe thanks to his excellent driving style. Samuel was an exceptional guide from start to finish! We simply loved our safari. Delighted with our safari with Travel wise! From the start, my contact person Angela was attentive and did everything possible to make this experience great. Travel wise organized our transfers from Zanzibar to Arusha by managing the flights as well as our luggage since we did not want to take everything with us. Upon arrival in Arusha, our guide Samwell Kiware took care of us for the 5 days. Tarangire, Serengeti, crater, etc... a safari that will remain unforgettable!!! We saw the big 5 and even more :) Samwell was an excellent guide and a good driver! Thanks to the whole team!!!

The experience at travel wise safari was beyond description. Our guide, Mr. Frank, took us on an accurate drive to where the various animals were. It allowed us to observe animals called BIG5 and other beautiful creatures. The food at our lodge was amazing and the starry sky we saw at night was the most beautiful we had ever seen. And when we finished our safari and arrived on Zanzibar, we realized we had left our camera in the car. But thanks to them sending us their cameras in less than a day, we made it home in time. I definitely want to visit again and I really recommend the experience here. Thank you very much.

Our 5-day safari through Tarangire National Park, the Serengeti, and the Ngorongoro Crater in June 2026 was an unforgettable experience that we would book again anytime. The organization by Travel Wise Safari was excellent from beginning to end. Goodluck Nassary was quickly reachable at any time in advance, addressed all our wishes, and even fulfilled our request to organize an additional overnight stay at the Kaliwa Lodge with a view of Mount Kilimanjaro after the safari. The transfers from and back to Zanzibar were also perfectly planned and worked smoothly. A very special compliment goes to our German-speaking guide Noah. He made the safari something very special with his knowledge, his patience, and his pleasant manner. He provided us with an incredible amount of interesting information about the flora and fauna as well as about Tanzania. Thanks to his trained eye, we were able to see not only the Big Five but also discover numerous other animals. He kept drawing our attention to animals that we would never have discovered ourselves and gave us enough time to observe and take photos. He also took excellent care of our physical well-being during the lunch breaks. Regarding the accommodations: 1. Night – Marera Valley Lodge A beautiful property with well-maintained rooms. Unfortunately, there was no Wi-Fi in the room. The restaurant was personally a bit too loud for us and the tables were very close together, so no particularly cozy atmosphere emerged. For one night, the accommodation was perfectly fine, but we would rather not recommend it. 2. Night – Safari Haven (Serengeti) A beautiful camp in the middle of the Serengeti. The location is unique and provides a real safari feeling. We can recommend this accommodation without reservation. 3. Night – Mvuli Hotel A very beautiful property with comfortable rooms. We felt very comfortable here. We were especially pleased that the hotel congratulated us on our honeymoon. We can definitely recommend this accommodation as well. 4. Night – Kaliwa Lodge We had booked this overnight stay additionally at our own request and it was absolutely worth it. The property is beautiful and the view of Mount Kilimanjaro is simply dreamlike – a perfect conclusion to our trip. One small point that we would still like to mention: It was my birthday on the day of arrival. It would have been a nice gesture if at least the first hotel had acknowledged this with a small birthday greeting. Furthermore, this safari was also our honeymoon. We had communicated this in advance, as this trip was far more than just a safari for us. We would have appreciated a small token or personal congratulation even more at the accommodations – with the exception of the Mvuli Hotel. That would have made the already wonderful experience even more special. Overall, however, it was a fantastic trip with perfect organization, impressive animal sightings, and a great guide. We were seduced by this agency from the beginning for its professionalism. A detailed brochure with an impeccable presentation. Donald took care of our reservation. Valuable tips for choosing parks: 2-day safari as a couple, with Tarangire on the first day then Ngorongoro. On the lookout during these two days, our Innocent guide allowed us to observe the Big Five, including a leopard in Tarangire. A rare experience! A big thank you to the whole team of the agency.

Great safari, our guide was really great. He brought us to great places, brought us to see the most beautiful animals in Africa and his explanations were super interesting. I highly recommend it, to do as a couple or with friends!

We wanted to go on a safari during our trip to Zanzibar. After a lot of research we came across Travel wise Safari, the first contacts with good Luck are clear with a lot of explanations about all our questions and doubts during the preparation. Good Luck was very responsive and available in his answers. We chose a 3-day formula with Tarangire, ngorongoro and lake manyara. This is the long awaited day that has arrived! We were picked up at our hotel in Zanzibar towards Arusha where we met good Luck and our French speaking guide Alex! From that moment everything went better than anything we had imagined. Alex , who speaks very good French, is a great person who did everything to make our safari go perfectly with his experience he gave us a lot of information and advice.
