5-day Fly-in From Zanzibar To Serengeti National Park

We had an incredible safari with Serengeti African Tours and couldn't recommend them more highly. We saw loads of amazing wildlife close up, and every game drive brought something new to observe. Our guide, Peter, was incredibly knowledgeable and really fun to be around. He knew the best spots to go to see particular wildlife, and we felt very safe with him at the wheel. The lodges were another highlight. Each one was comfortable and well run, and the staff at every stop were genuinely welcoming and made us feel looked after from the moment we arrived. From start to finish, the trip was well organised and truly memorable. Thank you to Peter and the whole team. We'd go back in a heartbeat!

Amazing safari. Our guide, Leopold, was great. Made sure we saw all possible animals, and close and upfront. Leopold knows these parks by heart. Lions, cheetahs, leopard, hippo, elefants, giraffes, rhinos, etc. we even saw cheetahs hunt and kill an impala. Amazing. A bit more info about where we were going, timelines, waiting time etc. during the trip would had been nice. So would more proactive communication on sharing his knowledge about the wildlife. Bad thing was logistics! The trip had way too much unnecessary commute. The evening of arrival we rode 1 hour to the place we stayed overnight. Next morning we rode the exact same way back! Literally 2 hours wasted. Same happened when returning from Serengeti going to Ngorongoro. 2 hours wasted Feels kinda disrespectful of our time and the cost of the trip. This is basically half a day wasted in unnecessary commute. This needs to be improved. One lodge, Ngorongoro Tented Lodge, was just not good enough. Only one course offered in the evening, no a/c, etc. Looks nice in pictures but reality is different.

We had the most amazing time with Go Serengeti African Tours. Our guide Peter Mmary…. Where do I even begin. Going on a safari is not just about seeing wild animals. It’s about experiencing wild eastern Africa but feeling safe and cared for at every step. Peter didn’t just guide us to see incredible animals (which we we did - we saw 7 leopards and 3 rhinos plus the big 5 plus 3 river crossings in only 4 days) - but he also took such good care of us and taught us so much about the animals, African culture, and the Swahili language. It was an immersive experience. He’s also very warm, kind, and has a great sense of humor. When we come back and take our family, we’ll request Peter by name. A big bonus is that Peter is very passionate about photography, so he knows how to position you for the best angles, shots, and light. He actually taught my wife how to use her camera better! If you’re planning a safari - choose this operator and request Peter, if he’s available. Also, this is very important. Regarding seeing animals - have low expectations and “let nature reveal itself to you” as Peter would say. We were EXTREMELY lucky to see all the animals and crossings we did in 4 days. Part of that was Peter’s instincts. But another part was pure luck. If you go into the experience with too high of expectations, you’ll miss the magic of just being there. Also, most of the magic happens in the early hours, so if Peter (or whoever your guide is) says let’s leave at 5:30 AM, trust him.

We booked the 5 day private tour anniversary tour with Serengeti African Tours and did not regret one bit - from the booking process to the end of the tour, everything was smooth and well organised. Staff who assisted with booking (Antonio) was very responsive when I had many questions, she also did a check in during the tour to ensure everything was going well! Special mention to our guide (and everything in one!) - Peter, who took care of us over these 5 days. His passion for this job is overflowing - I love it! Highly recommend requesting for Peter as your guide for your tours! He will not disappoint :)

We chose Serengeti African Tours for our honeymoon, and it was one of the best decisions we made. His sharp eyesight and experience meant he could spot animals from incredible distances, and he always positioned the vehicle thoughtfully so everyone had a great view while respecting the animals and their environment. Thanks to Peter, we managed to see every single animal we had hoped to see during our safari! The accommodations throughout the trip were excellent. Every room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, with reliable hot showers that were much appreciated after a full day of safari. The meals were another highlight. There was a wide variety of delicious dishes every day, with plenty of options to suit different tastes. We looked forward to every meal. The safari vehicle was also very well equipped. Having a fridge stocked with cold drinks made a huge difference, especially during the warm afternoons, and added an extra level of comfort to the experience. Overall, we couldn’t have asked for a better honeymoon safari. Exceptional service, amazing wildlife sightings, comfortable accommodations, delicious food, and an outstanding guide made this an unforgettable trip. From start to finish, Adrian our guide was friendly, professional and knowledgeable. Adrian, found so many animals for us to see and stopped in excellent spots that provided good photographic ops as well as ensuring the animal remained respected. Highly recommend this budget priced tour. The truck and the animals sightings were exactly the same for everyone yet I paid far less than people on other tours. The accomodation was basic (reflected in the price) but it was clean spacious and I felt completely safe for a single female traveller. Thank you Adrian for a fabulous tour. I will hopefully be back to visit the Serengeti and I will use this company again

We loved our safari from start to finish. Everything was very well organized, and our guide, Adrian, was outstanding, extremely knowledgeable, attentive, and always focused on giving us the best possible experience. We saw so many animals and from very close, far beyond our expectations, and always felt we were in the right place at the right time. It was truly exciting and unforgettable. We done a 2 day safari to the Tarangire national park, followed by the Ngorongoro Crater on the second day. Our tour guide Daniel was waiting at the airport to collect us upon arrival making this process nice and easy. The safaris themselves were truly breathtaking, from the landscapes to the variety of wildlife, we were taken back by how many different animals we saw over such a short period. Our tour guide Daniel was faultless, his knowledge was impressive and he was able to answer all our questions, he listened to every request and made our tour truly unforgettable. The food was lovely, the overnight between the two parks was a really authentic experience staying in a lovely African style hotel. The private jeep was spacious & had enough space for us to store all our bags as well. Both the tour operator & the hotel went extra lengths, bringing us flowers & decorating our room for our honeymoon which was a really nice touch. We would recommend this tour to anyone it’s a must do when in Zanzibar or Tanzania. There is however a lot of travel across the two days to get to the parks from the airport and to one and other which would need to be considered when booking the trip. However, we would like to say a massive thank you to Daniel, a credit to the company, for giving us such a great experience.

We were able to see a lion! The guide was so good at spotting animals, we saw a ton of them! I had a great time! Thank you so much!

I had an incredible experience on this 2-day budget safari! Everything was well organized from start to finish. Our guide was knowledgeable, friendly, and made sure we saw as many animals as possible, including elephants, lions, and even a glimpse of a rhino. The scenery at Tarangire and Ngorongoro was breathtaking, and the tour balanced game drives with time to relax and enjoy the surroundings. The accommodations were comfortable for a budget tour, and the meals were tasty and fresh. I went with friends, and it was the perfect mix of adventure and fun. Highly recommended for anyone who wants to experience the beauty of Tanzania without breaking the bank. Would definitely book with Serengeti African Tours again!

Everything was perfect, I got to eperience it all. The company is so nice they have professional guides especially our Guide mr Godfrey was amazing, so gentle and detailed its so nice to ride with him. Next time I'm coming here, I will definitely choose this company.

We saw Africa's big 5 and a lot more animals. We where able to take pictures of all of them. The guide had a lot of knowledge. Cook and food where great.

The trip was great for the price. Lucas made my check in super easy, and was able to explain the entire trip to me. The accommodations were as can be expected, and the views were incredible. Overall a great time, and totally worth the money

I enjoyed everything about the Safari, it exceeded my expectations. Our guide Eddie was very friendly and gave lots of information, are accommodations were good as well. The price for the Safari was excellent for all that we got. I would definitely do more tours with serengeti African tours. Just that we didn’t see the Rhinos.

We had an amazing time on our tour with Serengeti After Tours. The tour was really well organized, from the pick up to the drop off at the end. The food was really good and always an hot meal was prepared for us. The camping of the first and last night was really good, the other 2 nights . The guide was super knowledgeable and always available for any need. I can only truly recommend Serengeti African Tours to have the best safari experience without worries! At the end it is always warm in Tanzania, so no need for the hot shower ;)

We had an amazing safari experience during 2 days with Serengeti African Tours. From the preparation of our trip to the realization, the team listened to us and did everything to meet our requests while staying within our budget. Our guide David was perfect, both in his explanations and in his search for the best spots to find and observe the animals! You can count on him to help you discover some incredible animals and live some very moving encounters! What a good surprise to discover that David has a very good knowledge of French in addition to English. The Chef delighted us during the safari with quality and quantity of food! We had a really nice trip, all organised, but also flexible to our wishes. Our guide David gave us interessting facts (we could ask him everything) and our cook Richard always created delicious food - both really friendly, funny and they made sure that we feel well. All sleeping equipment was available and it is a nice experience to sleep in the nature in the tent (although a little bit cold;)). Just recommendable!!

I totally recommend Serengeti African Tours. We booked a tour for two days, first day we went to Ngorongoro and the other day to Tarangire. We saw lots of animals very close to us and we took lots of pictures. Our tour guide, Aboh, was very nice and expained us many things about the animals and the places we saw. The lunch and dinner we had were absolutely delicious. Also the accommodation was nice and clean. It was an experience we would like to repeat again in the future.

We had such a great time on our safari and I really appreciate. We did not have a lot of time and Luka was able to customize a special experience for us based on the details that I provided. The door-to-door hospitality is unmatched and communication with Luka during the planning phase gave me the assurance that we were in good hands. Our guide, Abouh was fantastic and a major highlight during our time! He was friendly, knowledgable and happily accommodated us with what we asked. If you are able to do a private tour, I highly recommend and Serengeti African Tours is a great independently owned tour company. I will definitely come back to do a longer safari and will be sure to book with them again.

Perfect organization, there were many animals to see, including all of the Big Five. Our guide Adrian was very nice and helpful, had a lot of information, a bit more background would have been nice. The accommodation in the lodge was simple, but suitable for this safari, in the evening there was a great acrobatics show.

I relied on this agency and there was nothing that did not go as I hoped! Always present assistance, professional guides , amazing and plentiful food! The lodge we were booked was just perfect and they gave us a very welcome gift by giving us short-sleeved shirts with their logo! 5 stars super deserved and stra recommended, everything perfect
