4 Days Safari

What can you say? Words really fail us. The three of us (“Baba”, “Kaka” and “Dada”) had a truly unique travel experience across the three national parks Tarangire, Ngorongoro, Serengeti. We were lucky enough to see the Big Five, but there was so incredibly much more to see and experience beyond that 🤩. All of this was made possible by a fantastic team — starting with Ally on the organizational side and brought to life by Joseph, our guide and driver. He brought a wealth of experience — 20 years of it — along with eagle eyes (even while driving!), the knack for finding great photo spots amidst the crowds, a wonderful sense of humor, and even Kiswahili lessons. And the icing on the cake was Lewis, our chef — aka “Mr. Delicious” — who, despite his youth, spoiled us morning, noon, and night with fantastic, freshly prepared meals; so many 'Lecker-Schmeckers'. And the way the team managed to have an elephant wander into our tent camp at 5:30 in the morning... simply amazing 😉. A huge thank you once again, especially to Joseph and Lewis — a fantastic team. And the singing together in the car was unforgettable (you two know exactly what I mean...). Asante sana!

We had an amazing experience with our incredible guide Joseph! Thanks to our guide, who has a very good eye to see animals. From planning to the actual safari, everything went smoothly and staying in the tent in the national park was also a unique experience. We definitely made unforgettable memories in Africa! :)

It was a great tour creating unforgetable memories. We saw a lot of animals in an amazing landscape. Our guides were experiences and knew perfectly the good places to see the animals. We felt always comfortable, getting information about the animals from the friendly guides. The cook, Joaquin, made very good dishes, excellent. My family and I went on a safari to Serengeti passing Lake Manyara and later Lake Natron with our guide Joseph, one of Ally's amazing team members who guided us with a lot of skill, fun and kindness through the amazing nature, rough roads and breathtaking landscapes. These days were among our highlights of our family-trip to Tanzania for sure! My whole family fit into the car (7 people) and we could all stand up comfortably during game drives, looking for lions, elephants, leopards, pumbas, ... and experience it all so closely. The roof of the safari car can be put up so you have an even better view and adventerous feeling while being on your journey. Joseph always listened to our wishes and drove really well while at the same time spotting every animal one could wish to see. We really were one group having a lot of fun, not just customers sent off to Safari. We will never forget this experience and can only say asante sana again for the best service, trustworthy management and easy, fast, and personalized organisation of this trip. 100/10!!!

Ally put together a fantastic safari package for us (Arusha, Tarangire, Serengeti, Ngorongoro, Lake Manyara) and then sent us off on our journey with Joseph, quite simply the best guide imaginable. Joseph is a wonderful person. He always has an answer to every question, remains calm at all times, and is always up for a good joke! With his many years of experience, he doesn’t race blindly through the parks just to reach a lion reported over the radio. Instead, he knows exactly where and how to track animals — nothing escapes his eagle eye. During our time together, we had many great conversations and learned a lot from him about the country, wildlife, culture and language. We were cooked for and looked after by Chef Lowassa, who repeatedly surprised us at even the most remote campsites with excellent breakfasts, three-course dinners and generous lunches — all served on proper tableware and with a tablecloth.

We were on a 4 day safari in Serengeti and Ngrorongoro and were really happy with this organization! It was crazy to see that the guide (Hebron) we had did everything he could to make our time as comfortable and nice as possible, a really accommodating guy that could also answer every question we had about Tanzanian nature and culture. I was on another Safari with a different organization and was therefore able to see the difference that a good organization and kind guides can make. I can only say you cannot take this quality for granted! This is probably also because Making Memories in Africa is a local company and the guides are still personally picked. The chef (Joaquin aka Mr. Delicious) that came with was also crazy good! He really lived up to his name:D My girlfriend is vegan and even though this is not really a thing in Tanzania, the chef went out his way and loved to cook vegan meals 3 times a day for her, with extra meat next to it for the rest of us. He even made vegan pancakes! We were all around very content and can only recommend this company and the guide/chef, that were smiling 24 hours a day! P.S. I also did a Kilimanjaro climb with this company and everything was perfect there, too!

We went on a 4-day safari to Tarangire, Serengeti, and Ngorongoro and loved every single moment of it. Our guide, Joseph, was incredibly skilled and a pleasure to travel with. He made sure we got the absolute most out of our safari, and we ended up seeing all the animals we had hoped for and even more! The food was prepared by Joachim, who spoiled us with delicious meals every day. Together, Joseph and Joachim made sure we had the best possible experience. We had so much fun along the way and enjoyed countless beautiful moments surrounded by nature. We spent one night in a lodge and two nights camping in the wild, where zebras and elephants wandered close by in the evenings — an unforgettable experience. All in all, it was a truly amazing trip that we can’t recommend enough!

The communication with Making Memories in Africa was easy and reliable from the beginning. They changed the tour according to our wishes and were very helpful all the time. The Safari itself was amazing. Our guide was experienced, the food was good all trip, we saw a lot of animals and had a great time overall. I couldn‘t find a better price for all that we got on any other website and the company is also run by local people who take good care of you!

We had the best driver on our Safari (Joel). He knew all the best spots to find the rarest animals. Also our chef was the best (Joaquin). He made sure that our bellies were always full with delicious food. It didn’t matter if it was breakfast, lunch or dinner! The trip was totally breathtaking!

I had a 4d safari w/ my brother and 2 other swiss guys. We saw lions, zebras, gnus, elefants, giraffes, hippos and buffalos. At the end we could see all animals of the big 5. (The rhino was very far away tbh) I would recommend you to go on the safari with Josef as a guide and Joachim as a chef. Our guide Josef has eagle eyes he almost saw every animal. He always took the car to best spots so we were able to have the best view^^. Josef is a safari guide for 20 years now and he answers all questions you have and he adds some fun facts from different animals. One evening he also told us some stories about his life in Tanzania. Joachim, the chef is also called "Mr. Delicous" and this is true for sure. We had delicous meals like breakfast, lunch and dinner everyday. Joachim cooks one of the best chicken I ever had. One time he made a buffet with common tanzanian food. Both, Josef and Joachim are very kind and funny. To sum up, I'm going to remember about this crazy game drive for many years. I really hope I will go on a safari with Josef and Joachim again.

Our safari experience with Making Memories in Africa was truly amazing!! We spent 5 days in the parks Tarangire, Serengeti, Ngorongoro and Lake Manyara and saw so many beautiful animals and nature. Wonderful experience! We visited the Serengeti and Ngorongoro National Park and saw lots of different animals including all the big five, it was incredible! Our guide Joel new everything about the different species and their ways of living and knew all the best spots to see them. He was also the best at driving ;) Our chef Samuel took good care of us and provided us with delicious meals. It was an incomparable experience that I would recommend to everyone and that I will cherish for a long time to come!

Joeseph & Joakim were brilliant hosts, Joeseph, the driver was very knowledgable and seemed to take a lot more time & care with his driving than other guides. This meant we saw more animals than we could have ever hoped for, successfully seeing the big 5 in 4 days. He was friendly, knowledgeable and very welcoming and made the experience truly magical and incredibly fun. Joakim, the chef, prepared delicious, traditional hot meals daily and joined us on the drives. Would recommend everyone to visit this beautiful area with their company, you will not be disappointed.

The safari met all of our expectations and wishes. The driver didn’t follow the crowds, allowing us to see animals on our own and fully enjoy the landscape. What an amazing experience. Everything is awesome! The team is built with amazing humans. The food is incredible and you will see animal. Actually, it is the best experience at a reasonable price. Futhermore, the money go for a school for children with special needs.

It was a blast! We had three great days with Mr D, an outstanding cook, and Joel, a wise and friendly tour guide. The very long journey was never tiresome, as Joel could provide a lot of information. Our group of six was very happy to do this experience. We started from Arusha and headed into central Serengeti, where we saw all big African predators. All game drives where in a perfect timed scheme and area. As he is an experienced guide we had some beautiful and close encounters with elefants defending there small ones against a group of lions. The meals provided by Mr. D were incredible. On the third day Joel showed us the whole beauty of Ngorongoro and took us to very good spots to enjoy watching the animals. It was a tremendous experience. Thank you For these outstanding memories .

We were met at the airport by our lovely guide Joel who gave us the most beautiful and amazing 2 days. We went to 2 parks, Tarangire national park and Ngorongoro Crater. Joel made sure we had the best views to see all the animals. Even stoped to pick up a zebra tail that he found to show us. Anytime he would see any litter, he would always get out and take it with us. If you asked him any questions he was so happy to answer them and educate us on everything. On our way back to Kilimanjaro airport, he even stoped on a side road to allow us to get a good view of the mountain to take photos of. The company also gave us a T-shirt each, and provided airport pick up and drop off, all meals for day 1, and 2 meals for day 2. We couldn’t have honestly picked a better company to go with. 100% recommend

We had an amazing experience with MMA! Our guide Joel knew all the parcs by heart and showed us the best places to see lions, hippos, elephants, giraffs and a lot more. We felt very safe with him! Absolutely recommended! We booked a 5 day Safari tour and had the best team on our side. Our guide Joel knows reeaaally everything about the animals and showed us amazing spots and always made sure that we have a good view at the animals. On the same time he cares a lot about the wildlife animals. He stopped twice and got out of the car to put rocks and wood as protection for a bird that was sitting on eggs very close to the street. We felt very safe and we learned a lot about the serengety and saw the big 5. We also had the best chef with us Mr. D. short for delicious. He has got this name for a reason. He made us awesome food 3 times a day, even in the middle of nowhere we had a perfectly delicious lunch. Really talented man. We are really thankful for this trip and happy we have met the owner Ally of mma and his staff. It has been the most beautiful wildlife experience we have ever had. Ally even surprised us with a wonderful Accommodation instead of a tent, knowing it was our honeymoon. Asante sana for that unforgettable adventure!

We went on a 5 days safari and it was absolutely amazing! Joel, our guide, really knows the national parks like his backyard and where the animals are hiding. He was always making sure, that we had the best spot for the best picture. Next to the greatest guide we also had the most amazing chef, who absolutely deserves his nickname Mr. Delicious. We were really satisfied with the Organisation by Ally and we would really recommend to book a safari with making memories. This vacation was our honeymoon in combination with Sansibar Island and Arusha. The communication was very easy and professional and we found the safari company through other friends and family members who booked the same trip. We booked the flights separately and everything went smoothly. Ally picked us up at the airport and we stayed for 2 nights in hostel „We are one“ before we started our adventure. Our tour guide Joel was very friendly and calm and had a lot of knowledge about the parks and animals. He could answer us almost every question. We stayed three nights in different hotels / lodges (Serena Ngorongoro, Lake Manyara Hotel and Serengeti Seronera Wildlife lodge) which were booked by Making Memories and we got more „Luxus“ than expected before. We started as a couple with Joseph and took wonderful impressions and photos from Tarangire National Park on the first day. In very bad road conditions - it was rainy season with huge mud holes, Joseph proved his driving skills and looked after us humorously. The brought picnic was very delicious and we were provided with dishes and everything by him. The food came from the same restaurant where we stopped and stayed in the evening. An outstanding chef who also prepared us for the next day's picnic box when we drove into Ngorongoro Crater. There the lions lay directly at our jeep, herds of elephants and wildebeest crossed the road in front of us, Thomson antelopes, ostriches, rhinoceros and hippos we saw. A great experience, well prepared and professional support. A huge thank you, A sante sana, to Joseph our driver and guide.

The nature was breathtaking, the wildlife observations unique and the experiences simply priceless. The safari was individually planned according to our wishes, with great support from Ally, who responded to all our preferences and really made everything possible. An unforgettable memory! Our safari was an incredible experience from start to finish. Samuel, our guide, was exceptional: very attentive, always in a good mood and with an impressive knowledge of all the animals of the savannah. Joseph, our driver, also deserves a special mention: real eagle eyes! He spotted animals with the naked eye as I struggled to see them with my binoculars. And what about the cook? A real leader! His dishes made every lunch break as tasty as it was enjoyable. A top team for a trip I will never forget.

We booked as a group of 6 and could always plan the days ourselves. The guide has a lot of knowledge and could answer us many questions and had a good sense of humor, there was nothing wrong with the cook, there were always several options and the dishes were very delicious.

I spent 5 unforgettable days of safari with Making Memories in Africa visiting Tarangire, Serengeti, Ngorongoro and Manyara parks. Traveling alone, I was lucky enough to join an extremely friendly group for this safari which allowed me to save enormously while having a comfortable setting. Our guide, Joseph, was extremely friendly and allowed us to observe many animals (lions, elephants, giraffes, cheetahs, buffaloes... and even a rhinoceros!). The most important thing about this Enterprise (in addition to these very advantageous prices) is its social impact with part of the profits used to help the local community. I highly recommend Making Memories in Africa for your next safari, especially if you have a small budget!

It's been amazing! Nice and friendly driver, the food was delicious. They really took care of us and knew what we wanted and needed every moment. Really happy and patience team! I recommend it 100% . That was amazing! The driver is a professional, attentive, friendly. It always gives explanations of national parks, Food is supreme, they take into account all intolerances and tastes. We saw ALL the animals in a respectful way. I'll hire him back for sure. 100% recommended.

We only wanted to do a 4 day safari, but ekn part of the group a 5 day one. Ally made this possible for us by taking us to the other two via taxi on the second day of the safari. Although we had to leave at 06:00 and get up accordingly early, but we then got a great breakfast from Mr. Delitios (Joachim our cook^^). After that we started with the Safarijeep. We started with the Serengeti and saw many lions and almost all of the other big 5. Joseph Our guide, driver and eagle eye have always shown us with a lot of patience exactly where the animals are. We then slept in the national park and got a multicourse dinner from Joachim. We spent the next few days looking at the Serengeti, the Ngorongoro Crater and Tarangieri again. We asked a lot of questions about everything, animals, national park and the country Tanzania and Joseph could answer them all. He also knew a lot of funfacts and thus always provided a great atmosphere in the car. All in all, I can only recommend the safari. There were no wishes left unfulfilled and I will book this safari again with other friends in the next few years.

We as a family of 4 were allowed to experience a definitely unforgettable adventure that could not have been more beautiful. Joseph as our guide and driver was quickly familiar to us and his knowledge of the region and wildlife is totally comprehensive. He seems to already know the places where you can see the animals, he drives very safely through the terrain. Our chef Joaquim spoiled us with 3 super delicious and varied meals a day. The meals and conversations with Joaquim and Joseph gave us the opportunity to get to know and appreciate the country and people better. The overnight stays in the tent were also a great experience, being in the middle of nature and watching from the tent like zebras and buffaloes close to grass, all unforgettable... This nature, this wildlife, this beauty. Especially the Ngorongoro crater flashed us. For us the trip of our lives which we enjoyed to the fullest through the super organization and our two companions Joseph and Joaquim and will remain unforgettable.

The safari was incredibly beautiful and super organized. Our guide Jackson was able to answer all our questions and we also enjoyed sitting outside the car with him and talking and laughing. #TeamJackson Chef Joachim's food was fantastic and always more than sufficient. Accommodations were also top. We had good days and saw a lot of animals, even from very close.

We had a 4-day safari which was put together by Ally the boss according to recommendations or our ideas. As a driver and guide Joseph was at our disposal, who always drove us safely and prudently through Tanzania. We visited Kikuletwa Hot Springs, Tarangire National Park, Serengeti National Park and finally Ngorongoro National Park. Everything was excellently organized. The accommodations / lodges selected according to our price package were fantastic. There is already something when you are not allowed to walk alone through the accommodation grounds after or before sunset/rise, because you might encounter wild animals here. Strong! Or if you sit at dinner/breakfast and then just graze zebras in front of the breakfast tent in the garden. Joseph, through his years of experience, always gave us a safe feeling when we were very close to the predators or within a herd, such as elephants. Through his knowledge he was able to tell us a lot about animals, land and people. He also always took care of our well-being and made everything possible that we felt completely comfortable. He also has a special eye for where to find the animals from the largest to the smallest, which was actually a chameleon with us. So we were able to see the “Big Five” as a highlight among many others. A very special experience was the day in Ngorongoro Crater. Just incredibly beautiful! We can recommend MMA, Ally and especially Joseph! For us the time is unforgettable! Our driver and guide was Joseph, who always drove us safely and attentively through Tanzania. We visited the Kikuletwa Hot Springs, Tarangire National Park, Serengeti National Park, and concluded with Ngorongoro National Park. Everything was excellently organized. We did the Mt Meru Tour and a safari with the team from MMA. Both tours were very well organized and worked flawlessly. For both tours we were picked up on our doorstep and brought back. On the Mt Meru tour a guide (Ernest) a cook and two porters were there. Everyone did a great job. Ernest always accompanied us and answered all questions and gave us the necessary information. The food was excellent. There were always 3 courses (soup, main course, fruit plate). It was an incredible tour. A cook/guide (Joachim) and a driver (Jackson) were there on the safari. They both did an excellent job too. The chef gave everything to ensure we got a perfect menu and we all always had enough food. His expertise on the animals was also very valuable. Our drivers always gave everything to get the best spot and responded very considerately to suggestions from us. His expertise on the parks and animals was also great. We can only recommend MMA! They give everything to make sure there are unforgettable moments.

The safari was a great experience. Exciting moments with our guide Joseph and our chef Joachim. The food was delicious and our guide Joseph always had a good saying ready. He was also very attentive and thanks to him we discovered almost all of the Big 5 😊 Sleeping in the tents was a challenge and very cold at night. I recommend warm clothes and those who don't like sleeping with strangers to bring their own. Unfortunately, there was no pillow either. Otherwise it was a great experience and I can only recommend it.

The 4-day safari with our guide Josef and chef Joachim was great, we can only recommend it to anyone! Very good organization, Joachim cooked wonderfully and we saw extremely many animals and learned a lot from Josef. We were a group of 6 people in the car and stayed in the tent 1x from the 3 nights. You really didn't have to worry about anything because the two of them had everything under control and responded to all wishes and we had a great time! We would definitely recommend a night in the tent because it was really an insane wildlife experience. Ally organized the tour for us (we stayed one night at his hostel and started in the morning).
