We also enjoyed the vibrant birdlife, visited a Maasai village, and explored Arusha’s curios, making the trip both exciting and culturally enriching.

Our 5-day safari with Gecko Adventure Tanzania blended the best of wildlife and culture. We started by exploring Lake Manyara, spotting baboons, elephants, and even tree-climbing lions. Then, we ventured into the Serengeti, where we witnessed massive herds of wildebeest and endless golden plains filled with wildlife. One of the most unique experiences was visiting the Hadzabe Bushmen at Lake Eyasi, where we learned about their ancient traditions and hunting techniques. We also stopped at Olduvai Gorge, a site rich in history, and explored the museum that showcases human evolution. Throughout the journey, we stayed in fantastic lodges that made the adventure even more enjoyable. The combination of wild landscapes and cultural encounters made this safari an unforgettable experience!

We had an incredible time in Tanzania with guide Otto from Gecko. We planned the trip together with Rama and it actually turned out to be more exciting than we could have imagined; from the action filled game drives in the parks where we encountered lot of different animals to cultural tours to the local tribes of livestock keepers, coffee farmers and hunter gatherers. It was all well organized into a smooth sequence of activities and accommodations. Staying in top lodges added to the relaxation and enjoyment. If I were to change anything about the trip would be to increase the number of days

We started our summer travels with a visit to Tanzania where we vacationed on safari to Serengeti, Ngorongoro and Manyara parks. We were hosted by a local operator Gecko Adventure Tanzania. We had left aur host to handle all the logistics and travel which they did amazingly well. We had a great guide Musa with us during the entire 4 days, showing us the different areas of the parks including the great migration in Serengeti. I have to mention that staying at the luxury lodges and luxury tented camps was a wonderful decision and greatly enhanced our experience.

The safari was awesome! The game drives with our guide Musa in Lake Manyara, Serengeti and Ngorongoro Crater were really from out of this world. We enjoyed the beautiful views with Musa who was knowledgeable, courteous and genuinely concerned with our happiness and wellbeing throughout. He made sure that we were comfortable in the vehicle, drover carefully and considered suggestions before taking any decisions. The lodges were top class with excellent service, good food and nice staff. We fell in love with Ngorongoro Economy Lodge and Kati Kati Tented Camp. They were absolutely fantastic places to stay. I highly recommend this safari package and operator because it was really memorable. If you are lucky to get Musa it will be worth every penny!

It was good to be back to Tanzania with our old friends from Gecko Adventure Tanzania. This is our second trip with them and we are overly impressed by their excellent hospitality and attention to detail. We were lucky to reconnect with Musa who had been our guide in Selous to also take us through Manyara, Serengeti and Ngorongoro. The parks were just as we like them; quiet with little traffic. Rama also helped us get amazing discounts at the top of the line lodges. The lodges are pretty fantastic and actually deserve individual reviews. We will definitely keep returning to Gecko Adventure Tanzania for their excellent handling of guests.

Our trip could not have been better. Rama had put everything together nicely into an amazing itinerary that took us Manyara, Serengeti and Ngorongoro Crater. Every aspect came together nicely from the timely transfers, excellent vehicle, amazing lodgings and Otto our guide was an amazing guide. He took us to the far flung corners of the parks where there few other vehicles, allowing us to enjoy the views without any commotion. We enjoyed seeing the elephants, lions, hyenas, jackals following the wildebeest in Northern Tanzania. We stayed in some amazing places like andBeyond Grumeti and Chem Chem in Manyara. They enhanced the overall safari experience and we loved is a lot.

This is truly the best holiday vacation of our lives. We are truly grateful to Rama for planning and hosting us on such a perfect trip. Everything about it was well planned with timely transfers, all the hotels and camps were booked as we expected. Thanks for the upgrade in Serengeti and Ngorongoro. We really enjoyed the deluxe comfort level. Osman was amazing as a guide and driver. He took excellent care and made sure that we were comfortable. He always consulted us while and was flexible to allow us leave out or include an activity that we spontenously wanted, like the stops for curios, meeting friends over dinner at George's in Arusha on our last evening. The game drives were spectacular and we always found that Rama had made all the required arrangements to ensure that we got in the parks smoothly. Similar preparedness and attention was repeated at the lodges and every other juncture in the trip. Overall this trip was great value for money for the level of comfort and luxury through out the trip.

I had a very nice vacation with my husband in Tanzania with Gecko Tanzania. We had a very good safari guide Endrick guiding our tour to the parks - Tarangire, Serengeti and Ngorongoro. He knew how and where to spot the wildlife. With his expertise we saw so many animals, ranging from lions, buffaloes, elephants, hyenas, cheetahs, rhinos, vulture and thousands of wildebeest to name but a few. He answered all our questions with detailed explanations and also shared a lot of stories from his past experiences. He made sure that the 4x4 vehicle was clean, and well stocked with water and snacks. He had a complete safari travelling kit that had a table and seats, and would set them up at the picnic spots. The daily experience in the parks is something that we enjoyed extensively, getting so close with nature was both thrilling and fun! Sleeping under canvas in the open parks was exciting too. I am happy with the overall experience from Gecko Tanzania. It is second to none

We had an amazing safari in Tanzania with Gecko Adventure Tanzania. We had an incredible guide Musa who was an incredible companion through out the trip. We visited Manyara, Serengeti and Ngorongoro Crater with him and he took us to all the lovely sections. He showed us great sights and led us to unforgetable encounters with elephants, lions, cheetahs among other animals. Accommodations were also nice and well planned along the trip circuit that we did not have to go far. We will definitely use Gecko for another trip.

We started communicating with Rama back in February, he took the time to understand what we were looking for, and then created a personalized itinerary with all the activities that we wanted. We saw all the animals that we had hoped to see many times over. He has very good eyes and was able to find animals where we could hardly see any. He gave us our only encounter with a leopard. Gecko Adventure Tanzania provided such an awesome experience all through the safari. With safari guide Alex we were able to sit back and enjoy the ride into the parks action spots where we found a lot of wildlife. There were lots of animals in Lake Manyara, but Serengeti was the showstopper. We saw the wildebeest migration, many lions, buffaloes, zebras, giraffes, kudu, hyenas, jackals, vultures, hippos, and so many other animals, including more than 100 birds species. We loved the lodgings and the food we were served. It was one great safari that we will cherish for a long time

Everything about this trip was much better than we expected. We were booked in very exotic lodges right within the parks where the wild game roamed and luxurious to very high standards. We had guide Moses driving/guiding us through Tarangire, Serengeti and Ngorongoro. He drove a vehicle in great condition taking us comfortably to all the corners that we wanted to get to. There were so many animals in the parks and Moses knew where to find them. His passion for conservation and love for his country as he expertly navigated to them, teaching us so much about Tanzania. I am very happy with Rama the director because he fulfilled his promise of an amazing trip.

Gecko Adventures and the team that took us on our 4 day safari were incredible. Guides Otto and Roger were very knowledgeable, extremely friendly, and provided a wealth of information. We had a mix of lodges and camping during our trip, and all locations we stopped exceeded our expectations. Our package included a chef who cooked great meals for us while on the road and while camping. Both camp sites we stayed at overnight had incredible views of the sunset and were surrounded by animals. Our trip was fantastic and a once in a lifetime experience watching the wildebeest calving in Ndutu. We had a great guide, Musa, who spoke fluent English and German. Very knowledgeable about the animals, plants and the entire Ngorongoro/Serengeti ecosystem. He answered all our questions. In addition, he is an excellent driver who masters the 4x4 off-road. The stay in the lodges was great, they were perfect for relaxing after the game drives.

Last week we spent eight days on an amazing trip. Rama organized a 5 day trip to Ngorongoro Crater, Lake Manyara and Serengeti. We saw many different animals in the parks.
