My boyfriend and I spent three days on safari with Suricata Safaris, and it was truly one of the best experiences of our lives! Everything was amazing from start to finish. Our guide, Elias, was absolutely fantastic and made the experience extra special. We got to see and experience so much wildlife, and our chef prepared delicious meals throughout the trip. Staying in tents was also a great experience and much easier than we expected. Communication with Suricata Safaris was excellent. They were always quick to respond, friendly, and happy to answer all our questions. We have absolutely nothing to complain about and would highly recommend Suricata Safaris to anyone planning a safari in Tanzania. These three days gave us memories we will cherish forever!

We had an amazing safari experience in the Serengeti, even better than we expected! From the very beginning, communication with the agency was outstanding. They were always responsive, answered all our questions, and clarified every detail before the trip. Our guide, Jesse, was fantastic – very knowledgeable, professional, and always happy to share interesting information about the wildlife and the area. The entire team was extremely professional, and the food was absolutely delicious! We even had a private chef traveling with us, preparing fresh meals every day, which made the experience even more special. Simply put, my partner and I had an absolutely perfect experience with Suricata from start to finish. From the very beginning, no matter how many questions I had, no matter how many times I needed to change our schedule, no matter how many times we needed to work through logistics, I had exeptionally quick, helpful, and kind help from Suricata's sales/support team (a huge extra special thank you to Benjamin there!). As any such Safari can have a good number of things to work through to set it up, it was a huge relief and help to have such great support through out. The experience itself was equally as wonderful. For the lowest cost I could find for comparable experiences, the 3 day camping option with Suricata was in no way lacking. Airport pick up (included) was welcome, the hotel before/after the safari was high quality, and, of course, heading out to the Serengeti/Ngorongoro was an experience like none I have had before. Thanks to our top notch, kind, personable, and greatly knowledgable guide Lewis (his facts about local communities and the animals we saw really made the experience that much better for us), in only 3 days we saw the big 5 and much much more. With such full and successful days, 3 days was honestly the perfect amount of time. We were six in the car, and also had a great time with the new friends we made. Towards the end of the dry season in October, to me, seemed like a great time to go with clear skies, plenty of animals, and relatively less crowds than the high summer season (though still certainly be prepared not to be the only car out on the savannah). It is also worth mentioning the camping experience and the food. We originally chose to camp to save money, but honestly, if money was no issue, we would easily choose to camp as we did again. The camp sites features large amply roomy tents, very clean showers and bathroom facilities, and even a canteen in the second with beer and other drinks. Going out to explore the Serengeti, camping definitely fit the atmosphere of the experience with no lack of comfort nonetheless. And finally, I need to speak to the food. We were prepared for a few paultry sandwiches and to go through the weekend with a relatively empty stomach. But in the end it could not have been more different. We were absolutely SERVED with plenty plenty of food for full breakfasts, lunches, and dinners each day. And the food was good let me say. Absolutely phenomenal mix of local dishes, with meat and vegetarian options. Even had a few bottles of wine to go along with it. Several Suricata safari concurrent tours would meet up at camp for the meals also making for a nice community eating feel. All and all I could not say enough good things about my first safari experience with Suricata and I am honestly very thankful to the whole team who kept up with all of nonestop inquiries and changes. Would reccomend without a doubt!

Our family of seven went on a three-day safari with Suricata Safaris, seeing the Serengeti and Ngorongoro. The car had plenty of room for everyone and was tidy, roomy, and cozy. Jeremy was a patient and informed guide who helped us learn more about the wildlife and made every day fun. Seeing elephants, zebras, giraffes, and lions in their natural habitats was one of the trip's highlights. Compared to the stunning, expansive plains of the Serengeti, the Ngorongoro offered a different landscape and fantastic wildlife viewing. We were pleased with Jeremy's handling of the three-day trip, and everything went without a hitch. It was a memorable family experience in Tanzania.

Our safari through the Serengeti and Ngorongoro Crater was honestly amazing. The days were packed with safari time, but somehow still felt relaxed. We saw an incredible amount of wildlife, had great food, lots of laughs and came back with way too many animal photos. A big shout-out to Suricata Safaris for arranging such a beautiful experience. Communication was always clear and easy, the service was lovely, and they were very helpful in personalising the safari around what we wanted. I would 100% recommend doing the camping safari. Yes, you sleep on mats. Yes, it can get pretty cold at night. And yes, at some point you may question your life choices while crawling out of your tent in the dark. But then you wake up with zebras casually walking around the campsite and suddenly it is all worth it. Camping also made the whole experience feel much more adventurous. The people arranging the campsite were lovely, and sharing dinner with other safari travellers was such a nice part of the trip. You start as strangers and somehow end the evening exchanging stories, travel plans and inside jokes. Another huge shout-out to our cook James, who somehow managed to serve us healthy, fresh and tasty food every single day. Great lunches, great dinners, meat and vegetarian friendly, and delicious Tanzanian food that had us licking our fingers afterwards. And finally, the biggest shout-out goes to our guide: Frank the Man. Frank kept the good vibes going from morning until evening. He had endless knowledge and fun facts, was ridiculously good at spotting animals, and managed to get us to see the Big Five. There were a few logistical setbacks along the way, but Frank always did his absolute best to solve them and make sure we still got as much safari time as possible. Nothing seemed to kill his enthusiasm or the mood, and that made a huge difference. Great company, great guide, great camps, great food, and the Big Five with cubs thrown in. If you're deciding between safari operators in Arusha, stop reading and book Suricata. One of the best experiences of our lives. Yes, it's touristy in places, but once you're there you understand why. Seeing these animals in their natural habitat makes you rethink everything. First, credit to Suricata. They are a polite, experienced and professional company. We arrived in Arusha by night bus rather than the usual airport pickup, and even though the bus was badly delayed, someone was still waiting for us and took us to our hotel without any fuss. Then there's Frank, our guide. He's funny, knowledgeable and kind, and an excellent driver who made us feel completely safe in the car. He is a big part of why this safari was so good. Both campsites were incredible. The first, inside the Serengeti, had antelopes and elephants right next to us and a night sky we'll never forget. The second looked out over the Ngorongoro crater, with a herd of zebras grazing in front of our tent. James cooked lunch and dinner every day, and it was consistently delicious. The game drives themselves were everything we hoped for. We saw the Big Five, including cubs. Asante Suricata, asante Frank.

Our 3-day Serengeti safari with friends was an incredible experience, and Emanuel played a huge part in making it so special. The places themselves were incredible, but having a knowledgeable guide made the experience even more rewarding. Jeremy was attentive during our time in Serengeti and Ngorongoro and helped us understand more about the surroundings and wildlife. The camping element also gave the three-day safari an adventurous character that we really enjoyed.

Absolutely fantastic safari with these guys. Yes its basic camping and yes you need toiler roll but this makes the safari the experience you wont forget . Don’t take fancy clothes or expect anything more than this and you are onto a winner . Good food at meal times so you don't go hungry . Best of all the safari parks are amazing and you don’t have to queue as entrance is all sorted . What a wonderful 4 days we had . Would definitely recommend.

My mates and I booked a 3-day trip with Suricata Safaris, and it turned out to be unbelievable from day one. Jeremy was an incredible guide who knew the parks inside out and brought us right up to the best wildlife sightings. A huge highlight was taking a break during game drives to sit on the grass under a tree, having lunch, and opening some cold beers and wine. The views from the Ngorongoro crater lookout were insane too. Unforgettable trip!

From the moment we set out, it was clear he genuinely loves what he does — his knowledge of the animals, terrain, and local ecosystem was outstanding, and he had a real gift for spotting wildlife the rest of us would have completely missed. Gerald made sure every game drive felt personal and exciting, patiently answering our endless questions and going out of his way to position us for the best possible views and photos. He struck the perfect balance between being incredibly professional and making us feel completely at ease throughout the trip. Suricata Safaris took us on an incredible journey through Serengeti and Ngorongoro Crater. The sheer variety of wildlife was mind-blowing—we saw endless herds of wildebeests and zebras roaming the open plains, a lioness silently hunting, and even an ostrich striding through the tall grass. Dropping down into the Ngorongoro Crater felt like entering a whole different world packed with hippos and flamingos. Jeremy was a brilliant guide who knew exactly where to find the action!

Amazing experience! Izack was very knowledgeable and the chef provided fantastic meals. The entire trip was a positive energy and a lot of fun! It never felt like we were stalking the animals whilst still being able to observe and capture photos and videos of animals in the wild!

Good Safari company. Would recommend camping, it was a great experience & camping equipment was very comfy and warm, tent was setup and campsites good. Delicious food throughout. Our jeep had some problems, it kept breaking down which wasn’t great. Our guide was well informed and experienced but at times did not make it clear what the plan was for the day, meaning it was sometimes confusing/disappointing. Overall, recommend! We had an outstanding time on safari. Our guide (Joachim) took us to the best spots, and we were delighted to be able to see all the animals. The highlight was witnessing a cheetah successfully make a kill. Joachim provided us with plenty of information and kept the mood high throughout, while also accommodating the wishes of all the participants. The group's well-being was his top priority, and I would go on a safari with him again in a heartbeat. Our cook (Jeremiah or Joshua) also deserves special mention; the food was delicious, varied, and suitable for a vegetarian. A note on budgeting: a generous tip of 15 to 20 US dollars per day is expected for the cook and tour guide. We were initially unsure about this, but in hindsight, the tip was more than justified given the quality of their service.
