Our AWESOME safari trip, guided by the amazing Assad, was filled with excitement, joy, laughter, and so much fun! I have never seen so many incredible animals in my life! The combination of the best music and the most breathtaking views left me amazed every single day! Assad is truly the funniest, kindest, coolest, and of course, the BEST guide and friend ever! At the end of each day, we were welcomed with the best food I’ve ever had, freshly prepared by Richard, the chef. This was a 100/10 experience that my family and I will never forget!!

I had an amazing 3-day safari to Serengeti National Park and the Ngorongoro Crater. Everything was well organized from start to finish, and the experience exceeded my expectations. The guide was also our driver and was extremely knowledgeable, professional, and friendly. Thanks to his experience, we saw an incredible amount of wildlife, including lions, elephants, giraffes, zebras, and even a leopard. We also had a chef who prepared fresh, tasty meals at the campsites every day, which was a great bonus and made the experience even more enjoyable. The camping arrangements were comfortable and well managed. The scenery in both the Serengeti and Ngorongoro Crater was absolutely stunning. I felt well taken care of throughout the trip and would highly recommend this tour operator to anyone planning a safari in Tanzania.
From start to finish our experience was incredible. We are a family of 5 (kids ages are 9, 12 and 15). We booked a private tour (a must) and our guide, Freddy, treated us to the most amazing 3 days and 2 nights of our lives. We saw the most wonderful animals, drove past interesting tribes and fell in love with African people, culture and their unbelievable wildlife. Do not hesitate to book this trip. Yes, the camping is tough (I’m not a camper) but it adds to the experience and Richard cooks plentiful and flavoursome food. Tips - you get dusty as you want to keep the windows open to see the animals so do not bring nice clothes, it can also be cold so tracksuits are great. You’ll need warmer garments (hats, hiking coats, base layers for the night at Ngorongoro (you’re camping at 2800m). If you have questions, Assad is helpful and knowledgeable as well as passionate about what he does. Now book!
Assad was very helpful right from the get go. He made sure everything was in order, and once we got going, the guide (Hamsa) was also an incredible host. We had an amazing time, saw a lot of cool stuff, all the while being taken good care of. Would highly recommend this tour to anyone considering going to Serengeti and Ngorongoro!
The safari was amazing one of the best holidays to date, I really recommend Assad. He knew the savannah like the back of his hand as well as being a lovely guy to chat too. Couldn’t recommend this enough .
What an amazing experience. Assad knew all the best places to go and the best times to get the most out of our three day trip. Each time we went out the whole family were delighted with what we were able to see. The whole trip was immaculately executed! The extra touches meant so much more to us! Super trip, we will see you again! Would recommend this to anyone.
We had an amazing time on the tour, the food was good, the guide was great and Assad was very helpful in organizing everything for us including being accommodating with last minute changes. Highly recommend this to anyone who is looking for a Safari in Serengeti and Ngorogoro, Assad also offers many other destinations that you can customize your safari for.
The trip was amazing and our guide Abdallah was outstanding. He knew exactly where to take us and was so nice and easy-going! He definitely made the experience go from a 9 to a 10.
An excellent tour, amazing driver (no flat tyres for us, and translated for the group in 3 languages). Saw the big 5 within the 3 day safari!
Had an amazing experience with lots of wild animals giraffe, lions, zebra, elephant, buffalo, wilder beasts, birds, hippos, timon & pumba, crocodile, antelope, ghazel, hyena, baboon, seval cat, rihno and so on and on. We could see the animal migration through Serengeti. I really liked my guide that was very helpful, and had great knowledge regarding the animals. Knowledge of our jeep when we had a flat tire. Everything was well organized and cared for food, accommodations, water, drinks was included (only beer and no wine). The reason for not giving full stars was mainly the unexpected stop-by (visit) at a Maasai village tribe. Where only me and my sister from a group of seven was expected to pay entry ticket (the rest of group had payed during their booking) but we had not been informed of these when booking. It would have been nicer to use these 2h in the Serengeti or being informed prior booking. It was also expected of us to purchase at the Maasai village and give a large donation to their school. It is also clear that it is a tourist experience, with all the stops for lunch, and bathroom having tourists shops for souvenirs. However being on my holiday it wasn't all that bad. The accommodation also did not have electricity during sleeping hours (in Serengeti), so charging of phones was difficult. I'd recommend a power bank. We stayed in tents for Ngorongoro which I really loved! All in all very service minded, we had a chef, a driver, a coordinator, and a guide. It is expected to tip generously each person and there is not ATM in the wilderness... The feeling of "expected to tip" that is a cultural difference for me brought down the all and all experience. However I would do it all over again if I could. Thank you Serengeti!
The 3-day trip was amazing. We saw so many animals that I was able to cross off my wish-to-see list. Seeing lions, cheetahs and leopards is normally quite rare (I haven’t been able to see them on previous safaris) but we were able to observe them all up close even on our first day. Other animals we saw included elephants, zebras, buffalos, antelopes, baboons and so many more. The optional trip to a Maasai village was interesting and worth a visit too. The food was delicious and dietary restrictions were handled very well and creatively. The effort and care that our tour guide and chef put into this trip truly made it special. Would definitely recommend!
Had an amazing trip. Guide is very knowledgeable and caring. Because of his effort (and a good bit of luck) we spotted the big five and many more! Excellent breakfast, lunch, and dinner on the way thanks to the chef and other staff. Great value for money.
Assad was really great, he took very good care of us and he went above and beyond to show us all the animals on the Serengeti and Ngorogoro. We saw so many lions and even cheeta’s and black rhinos. The tour was very well organized and the food was amazing.
We were warmly welcomed by the organiser of the safari, Assad. He met us prior to the safari and gave us a briefing of what the days would entail. The safari went well, there was a good supply of drinks (alcohol and non alcohol) and food was provided (picnic at lunch). We were particularly impressed with the organiser because he met us and also sought our feedback at the end of the safari. We enjoyed the safari and would highly recommend this company, with thanks to Assad.
We have just completed an epic few days of safari with Assad from Pazuri Porini safaris. Our experience with this company and with Assad was the best we could ever ask for and it was the best safari we have ever done, I would highly recommend everyone to book with Assad without any hesitation. Everything from the beginning to end was organised professionally and in a friendly way, all my questions during our initial communications through whatsapp were answered in great detail and Assad even suggested amendments to my initial plan to make sure we have the best experience possible according to the time of year and the animal movements. Because of his excellent knowledge and suggestions we saw everything we wanted to see from our safari in Ndutu south Serengeti and Ngorongoro crater, including all of the big 5, the great wildebeest migration, and even saw rare sightings of leopard and cheetah with their cubs. During the safari Assad was always on the lookout for the highlights of things to see, equipped with his binoculars and could spot rare animals and their movements from so far away that we would otherwise never even notice, and made sure to drive us towards the most strategic positions to se them up close and ensure we get the best possible views of all the animals. During our game drives we were always in the best positions to capture the movements and take great photos of the animals, while most of the other cars didn't see what we were able to see because they were not in the optimal viewing position like we were. Not only a great driver but Assad also gave us so much information about the animals and was able to answer every curious question we had about them, about their behaviours, life cycle, diet, and so many other details, not only just about the animals but the masai tribes who live among them and also the trees and landscape around us. The safari vehicle we were in was very comfortable and clean, and came stocked with plenty of cold drinks in the cooler to keep us hydrated during the drives. The meals we ate in the lodge as well as the packed hot lunches were all excellent and tasty. We have no complaints about anything and highly recommend this company to all potential guests
My girlfriend and I went last summer to Serengeti and ngoro ngoro and Assad was our driver but he is an excellent guide. He was able to spot all animals in advance letting us see them easily and explaining their habits and other things I didn’t know. He is a kind person and always available. He speaks English very well and he is always clear and explains everything very well. Thanks to him, the safari was special and without him it hadn’t been the same. I would highly recommend him. He will try to teach you swahili!
We traveled with Assad in his 4 wud, his guide man ship is beyond comparison. Keen observer of all natural things in the park. We observed all gods creatures. The hospitality is beyond comparison at Bomo Siricata and Serena props. Thanks to Assad. Punctual and maintains the vehicle without worry.
Overall the trip was amazing . We did a 3 day trip to Serengeti and Ngorongoro crater and had a fantastic time . Assad organized the trip for us and went out of the way to plan out details and also showed us a little bit around Arusha before the trip. The hotel we stayed at was comfortable and was nicely done. Assad took care of before and after the trip but for the trip we were handed over to a different company. This wasn’t communicated to us so that was confusing since Assad did all communication with us and it wasn’t clear that we would be part of another group. Other than that , we had a great time and saw animals at both parks. I highly recommend them and will refer my friends to Assad .
The Safari was amazing! The driver was really good informed about the animals and was really friendly! The food was also amazing and we saw so many wild animals! I can recommend everyone this safari with Assad!
Had the most magical and memorable safari which I didn't want to end! From the very beginning Assad listened to what we wanted to do and see as well as the kind of accommodation we wanted. He made sure everything we wanted was perfect! We stayed in the most beautiful accommodation both in Karatu and Serengeti. Though I must admit the Kontiki Serengeti Camp was to die for and we didn't want to leave! This trip was for myself and my mum who came to visit me here so I really wanted it to be special and a trip of a lifetime. We were picked up from home in a beautiful big 4x4 jeep with the typical open roof. The fridge was stocked full of water , juice and some snacks. Every morning the car was spotlessly clean and everything arranged perfectly for our comfort. The food we ate was amazing every single day (We actually did 4 days as we also included Tarangire). There was so much of it and we were never hungry! What I especially liked is that we had hot lunches with a variety of snacks. We were so excited every day when it came to seeing what we had! Fruit salad, guacamole, muffins, chocolate, couscous, chicken, fried rice, roasted vegetables.... Finally but most importantly....Our guide/driver was the best! Derrick was super knowledgeable and an amazing driver. He knew exactly where to go and managed to find every animal we wanted to see! My mum is a huge bird fan and he made sure he had a book for her and was able to name every single bird she saw (there was a lot!!!!). Derrick knew exactly how much time we wanted to spend watching animals and was super patient with us. He would stop every time we asked and never rushed us. We spent a lot of time sharing stories and singing! He taught us a famous Swahili song which we still proudly sing! I would do this trip with Pazuri Porini safari again in an instant and look forward to arranging more beautiful trips with them!
After a slight mix up Assad assured us that we would be in great hands and it was just that. Our tour guide Mike and the chef were great though out our 3 day Safari.
Our trip was amazing. We got a personalized intinerary - Tarangire, Serengeti, Ngorongoro crater, Kake Maniara and Massai Village. It was a dream that come true. Our guide David was very experient and he knows a lot about fauna and flora. We love all national parks.
Great safari experience with awesome guides and chef. Lots of amazing animals and scenery. Really enjoyed the trip and experience
We were a group of 5 that travelled from the US to Tanzania and booked a safari trip with Assad. From prior to arrival, Assad was easy to work with and communicate our needs / specific plans for the trip. He was flexible tailoring the experience to our needs (specifically diet accommodations etc). Our flight landed in Kilimanjaro before heading to Arusha and Serengeti. Our initial booking was for a night in Arusha at a place that we didn’t like upon arrival - but Assad made sure we found something within minutes and was generous to cover the price difference without any additional cost to the group. The safari experience was great. Our guide, Lucas, was experienced, informative, fun to travel with and just overall pleasant to be around. Brought a lot of energy to an exciting trip. One thing we realized towards the end that Assad tries to work with a lot of locally owned businesses to empower the community and that for us was a cherry on the top for this amazing experience. Would highly recommend everyone to book this!
Had an amazing experience with our tour guide and pazuri porini safaris. Genuine people with a a heart of gold and amazing knowledge of the African terrain. I highly recommend this safari to anyone travelling to Africa !
It was my first safari and it was an amazing experience! Our guide was very knowledgable and nice. He did everything to get the best view of the animals and spot some interesting situations. We also had our own chef brought with us and while other safari tours we saw had lunchboxes with small cartons of juice, we got full traditional meals with chicken/beef, rice and veggies for lunch and dinner. The breakfast was also very nice! The organisation was very proffessional and the company was available on whatsapp even on weekends and during night to answer all our questions before and during the trip. I strongly recommend doing this tour! :)
Great experience of a safari! Assad was very approachable, explaining everything in details and kept in close contact for all of our questions. Very well organized and the driver was very skilled! The chef made delicious dishes and supported us so that we can focus on the game drives. Would definately recommend this tour to everyone that wants a shorter but a thorough safari experience! Needless to say that we saw impressive amount of animals, and with the help of the driver saw some amazing wild life situations like a pack of lions attacking a buffalo (buffalo ran away in the end) and many more!
Strongly recommend this safari experience! Had such a great time with a fantastic and enthusiastic guide who really loves his job, and a chef that had us looking forward to every meal. Saw all the big five, and so many other beautiful animals. Pazuri Porini also arranged our transport and hotel for the whole thing, and everything went super smoothly! Thank you so much for an unforgettable experience!
A wonderful and amazing experience that we will recommend to anyone and everyone. Thank you Serengeti African Tours for making our honeymoon an adventure that we will never forget and especially our guide, David. Without David leading us with his eyes and knowledge, we would have never seen all the animals we saw, especially the Big 5! Thank you for also teaching us more about the Tanzanian culture and language. The accommodation, food and friendly hospitality from everyone is something that will stick with us forever.
When me and my friend decided to attend a safari tour we started to search the tours from web then we found the Pazuri porini by filtering points and comments. If you select them you will never regret. Our guide and driver Lucas was really nice, friendly and professional, he replied all of our questions, he searched and found the big five animals for us and drove the cruiser safely. And the chef Dulla who cooked delicious food for us also really nice and funny man. The meals were fresh and international, do not worry and trust the chef ;) And the areas where we been and the animals that we met were amazing. If you have a little idea about attend a safari tour, you can do this with Pazuri porini without any confusion. At the end of the tour I really didn’t want to go back :)
Pazuri Pori Safari reached my expectations in terms of organization, quality of service and customers needs. All the staff was doing their best, the good was great too. I highly recommended choosing the tour operator for your safari experience.
Excellent customer service, they go beyond call of duty and clear understanding of customer requests. Driver Eddie and Asad service was outstanding.
I went on a two-night, three-day safari tour in Chagorogoro in Sechengiti and it was a really satisfying trip. Our guide Asad was very friendly and knowledgeable, and his English was excellent, making the description of animals and nature interesting and easy to understand. Thanks to this, I was able to have a fun and beneficial time throughout the trip. Compared to other companies, the price was very reasonable, allowing family to enjoy safari without any burdens, and the accommodation and meals were beyond expectations. The food served for 3 days was all delicious and satisfying. Above all, thanks to the excellent skill of the guide, he was able to find the animals really well, and not only could I see all of the Big Pave, but I was also able to have a special experience of observing the lion's chita from very close distance. If you're planning a safari with your family, I'd recommend Pazuri Porini with confidence. Thanks to excellent service and reasonable prices, the best guide has become a lifetime trip to remember. Thank you!
We just experienced an exceptional family safari thanks to our guide Assad, who was fabulous from start to finish; his kindness, attentiveness, and professionalism made everything perfect. We recommend him to everyone for a memorable safari experience. We slept right in the Serengeti park in a tent, and this experience was truly unique; it will remain etched in our memories. The campsite is very well maintained, and we spent two nights with our three young children, and everything was great! We were fortunate to have a private chef throughout the safari, and just like Assad, Richards was incredible, and his dishes were all exquisite. These moments will remain with us forever; our children left with stars in their eyes. Thank you again for everything to our guide, the best, Assad, and to our chef Richards. Marie, Benoît, and their three children.
Finally it's time to tell this experience to all those looking for the perfect 3-day safari in Serengeti and Ngorongoro Parks in Tanzania. This story is incredible: already while we were living it it seemed absurd and disarmingly uncomfortable, but after returning home and telling friends, family, etc..., we realized that we lived the plot of a film, fortunately, with a happy ending. I state that in this story I will not name names, apart from that of the tour operator who manages this experience on Tripadvisor (Assad) and that I will not blame. I'm just going to tell from my girlfriend's and me's point of view the things we've been through. Blames and responsibilities, I leave them to you who will read this review. Day 1 We are picked up from the hotel in Arusha at the appointed time by a rather battered Toyota Land Cruiser (the standard safari car), driven by driver A. On the back of the jeep appears the name of the agency that owns the vehicle and is responsible for the tour: EVERLASTING. We then collect our future travel companions: 4 Spanish girls and a Chinese girl. The former had booked directly with EVERLASTING, the Chinese girl through an agency at home (which in turn will have turned to EVERLASTING), while my girlfriend and I through Assad’s proposal on Tripadvisor. Basically, the three groups on board (us, the Spanish, the Chinese) referred to different interlocutors for any problem. The trip, which lasted about 12 hours, also included safari activities in the second part. Apart from the precarious condition of the jeep — with vibrations so strong that the left mirror, which was later broken, came off — the day proceeded according to schedule. Just a hitch: the driver, who also handled food and drinks, forgets the bottles in the car (parked far away). So we have lunch with only mango juice. In the afternoon we make the first sightings in the savannah, exciting. Upon arrival at the base camp (tents, no fences, bathrooms without light or hot water), the Chinese girl considers the experience too “wild”, because she is not informed of the conditions. Actually, neither were we. She then asks driver A to take her to a luxury lodge that best suits her needs. He agrees, but the jeep breaks down en route. The result: we are alone, without information, from 7:00 pm until 9:30 am the next day. No news about dinner, alarm clock, breakfast or safari times. “Chef” B, who was supposed to take care of the meals, disappears. We and the Spanish girls, around 21:00, still without dinner, begin to ask for help from other workers in the camp. The chef of another agency brings us food and tells us that ours would arrive later. Drinks always non-existent. Later, Chef B finally introduces himself: he tells us that the driver had broken the jeep and that he would meet us the next day. However, it does not provide any information on timetables. At 11:00 p.m., driven by complaints from the girls, I look for him again to at least know the alarm clock. After several attempts, I find him: he tells us that breakfast would be at 7:00. During the night my girlfriend wakes me up scared, convinced to hear animals near the tent. I, with plugs in my ears, don't notice anything. Day 2 Breakfast at 7:00, but at 8:15 still no news of driver A. Chef B is gone again. The situation heats up: we and the Spanish girls are incredulous, especially seeing how the other agencies in the camp were always present and organized. So we write to Assad (us) and EVERLASTING (the Spanish), asking for help. We are told that the Chinese girl was returning to the camp with another jeep, and that then a new driver (C) would arrive with a new car to take us around. With the help of the drivers of the other agencies, we find driver C, who accompanies us during the morning. His jeep does not belong to EVERLASTING, and the difference is obvious: no vibrations, no dangers. At lunch, stopped in a base camp, we are given meals prepared by Chef B and delivered to driver C. The drinks, once again, non-existent. We continued to buy water or beer in base camps, but we ran out of jeeps. After lunch, driver A reappears, telling us that he had repaired the jeep and that from there on we would continue with him. We would have preferred to stay with driver C, both for safety and because we were resentful of the abandonment the night before, but we were not allowed. After half an hour of travel, the unimaginable happens: the rear drive shaft breaks. The jeep, launched at 50 mph, nails, drifts and turns. Only luck kept it from tipping over. The girls scream, we're upset. Stuck in the middle of the savannah, we inform the driver that we did not want to continue with him. He plays it down and tries to convince us that he would solve it. I call Assad, who tells me not to bother the driver because we were making him nervous, and he knew what he was doing. Bewildered, we finally give in and agree to arrive at the gate with the damaged car, at 30 km/h. Once there, the driver tells us that there was no spare jeep ready. One could have been sent from Arusha, but it would have taken at least 4 hours. He therefore urges us to continue with him. After another 20 minutes, the front of the drive shaft also breaks. Car stopped, again. The driver does not have the tools. We risk being stuck in the savannah by nightfall. After an hour another jeep passes by and lends us two wrenches. The driver and I dismantle the pieces and leave. It seems to be going better, but after 40 minutes we take a hole: a wheel deforms and the top speed drops to 20 km/h. Base camp was still 35 miles away. That was the moment when I really feared the worst. Around 9pm, a driver who had noticed us in difficulty in the afternoon, worried because we had never arrived at the camp, comes back to look for us. He charges us and finally takes us to our destination at 9:45 p.m. We dine, exhausted, and try to make local mind about what happened. My girlfriend and I remind Assad that, at the time of booking, we had agreed an early pick-up from the crater (extra $100) to take the flight to Zanzibar. We write to him to confirm: he only replies that the next day we would have a new jeep and a new driver. Day 3 Breakfast, new jeep, new driver (D). Charge the whole group, even the Spanish girls and the Chinese. He tells us that later a second car would pick us up to take us to the airport. Let's start quietly, let's go on safaris in the crater. Around 10am, the driver tells us it was time to start going out to meet the transfer. At that point we understand: to allow us to go out, the other five girls would also have to finish the safari early, because once out you could not return. Chaos breaks out: the girls protest with the driver, then with EVERLASTING, who orders him not to take us out without their consent. The driver simply says that “it was not his problem”. We are in a paradoxical situation: either we miss our flight, or they give up the safari. After long attempts at mediation, driver D offers us a solution: a colleague would have found us willing to take us out, but in return he wanted $20. The transaction had to be done in secret. Having no alternative, we accept. They load us into another jeep, with two tourists from Malta, and finally we reach the gate, where the transfer to Arusha awaits us. 1:20 p.m., with 2.5 hours of travel ahead and the flight at 4:45 p.m. We arrive on time, but exhausted and disgusted. Assad, on the phone, tells us that we should not have paid the $20 because he had arranged the exit. He said the two tourists were his British clients, but we had spoken to them and they told us they were Maltese. Another of the many contrasting versions. In the end, for the $100 of the transfer, after discussions we come to a compromise: we add $30 to the $20 already given, and the matter ends like this. Conclusion In three days we lived: - continuous failures of a dangerous jeep; - total absence of organization and communication; - two days without water provided by the agency; - contradictory versions by drivers and tour operators; - potentially very risky moments. We have seen extraordinary animals and landscapes: this remains the only reason why we give 2 stars instead of 1. Otherwise, I would not recommend this experience to anyone.
Assad is particularly good. Looking for animals is particularly specialized, leopards we've all seen! Assad will also solve our problems on the road. Every day is full of surprises! Full of joy. There's also a stereo for music, which can be played on the road. Highly recommended Assad regiment, very reliable! Very nice!!!
It was the best part of my trip. Everything was great and Assad is an excellent guide, he knew how to answer all my questions before the safari because we were quite stressed to make one.
A safari with Pazuri Porini Safaris is highly recommended! I never thought you could get so close to so many wild animals in such a short time! I was very grateful to Assad, the organizer, for his tips and support in advance - he took care of everything very reliably! At the safari we were a group of 6 people, very quickly a good community emerged. Our guide Praise and our chef Pasco have always provided a good atmosphere! Praise was able to tell a lot about the different animals and the environment. We learned a lot! He drove us to the most beautiful corners of Serengeti and Ngorongoro Crater and tracked down an incredible number of animals! Previously I had some concerns about the food, but also in this regard I was absolutely positively surprised! There was always more than enough very delicious food! On the first day we were picked up from the various accommodations at around 6am and arrived in the early afternoon at Serengeti National Park. There were regular toilet breaks and stops for breakfast and lunch. Already on the first afternoon in the Serengeti we saw 4 of the Big Five! It was totally impressive how close we got to the animals! In the evening we ate together at camp. Here you have to be aware that this has nothing to do with luxury. The next morning we continued through the Serengeti until noon, then we drove to our camp at Ngorongoro Crater. The second camp was of a slightly higher standard. Here we had a very convivial and fun evening, there was even a campfire. On the third day we drove through the Ngorongoro crater - this is where I liked the most with the varied landscape! We even observed lionesses hunting buffaloes! After lunch at the camp, we headed back towards Arusha. There is always the possibility to go to the toilet, but you should bring toilet paper and hand sanitizer. In addition, you should not underestimate how cold it can get in the early morning hours and at least have a sweater or jacket with you. All in all it was a unique experience that I would recommend to anyone!
It was great I really recommend everything be perfect we were taken care of from the airport and everything went very well I really recommend!!
