Upon your arrival at Kilimanjaro Airport, your Fahamu Safaris guide will warmly welcome you and escort you to your hotel in Arusha. On the second day of your trip, get ready to witness the natural wonderland of Tarangire National Park. After your guide will pick you up from your hotel in the morning you will drive two hours to the park for a full day of game driving. As the sixth largest national park in Tanzania, Tarangire boasts a diverse range of flora and fauna, including the iconic baobab trees and a very high density of elephants. Other common resident animals are lions, zebras, wildebeest, and buffaloes, as well as giraffes, waterbucks, impalas, Grant's gazelles, vervet monkeys, baboons, and many more. After the game drive you will be taken to your hotel for a delicious dinner and an overnight stay.
After an early breakfast, you will drive to the world-famous Ngorongoro Conservation Area, home to the Ngorongoro Crater. Descend 600 m into the crater to experience the diverse wildlife that call it home. The crater's year-round water supply and abundant fodder make it a haven for a vast variety of animals, such as wildebeest, zebra, buffalo, hippo, and the majestic African elephant. One of the biggest attractions of this area is its dense population of predators, including lions, hyenas, cheetahs, and the elusive leopard. Keep your eyes peeled for these magnificent creatures, some of which may require a trained eye to spot. Enjoy your lunch on the crater floor before embarking on a final game drive as you leave the park. Your guide will then take you back to Arusha city for drop off or the airport for your evening flight.
We had a great time in Tanzania. IT was so special to see all the wild animals. Our guide was also very nice and he showed us a lot. We would do the safari again at anytime and can really recommend it.
We had a wonderful 4 day safari Tour in Tarangire National Park, Lake Manyara, and Ngorongoro Crater. The organization by Fahamu Safari was excellent and well planned. There is also a contact person on site who responds to all of our requests. Our guide, Innocent, took great care of us and explained us a lot about nature and the animals. We had a lot of fun with him and he made our trip a unique experience. We will remember these great experiences for a long time to come. We highly recommend Fahamu Safaris.

Amazing experience! We went on a three day safari and saw many different animals, including the big five. Victor was a great guide who told us a lot about the places we visited, the animals and answered the many questions we asked. The hotels/lodges were really nice as was the food we ate for lunch. The food was plenty and also included a vegetarian option. They even brought tablecloths to make it cozier. The guides were always on time, the cars were clean and well suited and the organisation beforehand was very professional. I would recommend this tour and company 👍
We booked a Tanzania trip including Zanzibar and a safari and were more than satisfied. This trip was one of the best vacations I've had so far, thanks to the top organization by Fahamu Safaris. Amazing Tour. We saw the "big five" and many many other interesting animals like monkeys, hippos, flamingoes, ... Too many to list here. Our driver Victor was very friendly and answered all of our questions, he was like a walking lexicon, he knew everything. It was an awesome experience all around, I can definitely recommend it.
Great Safari experience. Victor was a safe and talented driver and knew everything about the African Wildlife. They also were very flexible when we had some special interests. We saw all the animals you can hope to see here in three days. Theresa was very helpful when we were planning the trip.

The safari (Tarangire, Serengeti, Ngorongoro) was an unforgettable experience. I really saw a lot of animals and the service was really good and highly professional. Solomon planned everything perfectly and was always there to help me out, also our guide was super friendly and did everything to ensure that we had a comfortable trip. Everything worked great and the food was delicious. I will definitely book a trip with this company again.

We went to a three days trip to Tarangire and Ngorongoro with Fahamu Safaris, the trip was very last minute but Solomon and team managed to arrange everything perfectly. We saw a lot of animals and our guide was very knowledgeable, also the accommodation that were booked was amazing. In general, we had a great time and thank you, I would definitely recommend!!

Our Zanzibar vacation and the private safari with Fahamu Safaris in Tarangiri, Manyara and Ngorongoro National Park were really amazing! From start to finish, all of our expectations were exceeded. Zanzibar is simply beautiful. The hotel that our travel planner Teresa chose for us was on the east coast and right on the beach. The food was excellent! We were particularly pleased with the wealth of information and insider tips on excursions, etc. Communication with Teresa was always super friendly, quick and professional and the selection of the route and our safari hotel (Marera Lodge) was really top notch. Our guide Gabriel was always very polite, funny and a real expert in his field. Thanks to him, we saw a lot of animals (despite the low season) and enjoyed the very different landscapes of the parks. All in all, this trip was simply unforgettable and we can recommend everyone to book with this agency.
