Your shared group safari begins with an early morning pick-up in Arusha, followed by a scenic drive to Tarangire National Park for a full-day guided game drive from morning to afternoon. Alongside your group, you will spend the day exploring the park's sand rivers and tracking its legendary, massive elephant herds, stopping for a picnic lunch under the shade of a giant baobab tree.
Enjoy an early breakfast with panoramic views over the escarpment before driving up to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Stop briefly at the crater viewpoint before descending 600 meters into the volcanic caldera for a high-reward game drive to track lions, hyenas, and the rare black rhino. Enjoy a picnic lunch by the hippo pool before ascending the crater walls and returning to Arusha for your evening departure.

My partner and I did a safari in September 2022 and it was perfect! We saw all the animals we hoped for and more all thanks to our wonderful guide/driver David. He really made the trip for us as he really went out of his way to find every animal and answered all our questions

Tarangire National Park might have great options for birders, but we found the other parks to have more wildlife, birds, and scenery to keep our attention and build our knowledge
This was on our first day of our trip. As soon as we entered the park gates we saw an abundance of elephants, zebras, wildebeest and much much more. Amazing!
, I'd recommend planning at least two nights in Tarangire to appreciate all this. However, even for shorter itineraries, it's possible to have a very rewarding visit as the best wildlife watching is in the park's northern section, within easy access of the entrance gate
Ngorongoro scenic was heartwarming... We saw all big 5 inside a crater! We saw a thousands Elephants at Tarangire NP.. the lodge was something else!
This is the place we enjoyed most as we could see communites of different wild animals in groups and so close to each other and sharing the park with human beings Massai. It was anazing experience. We also saw lions on hunting action
The communications and service were perfect!! It needed just 2 mails and the safari was booked. Everything was clear since the beginning. We were picked up from the airport as agreed. Our guide Simon was the best guide we could imagine. He was so effort, knowing, considerate and talkative. Our cook "the stomach engineer" conjured delicious dishes! For breakfast we had omelettes, pancakes, sausages, toast, jam, coffee, hot chocolate. The lunch boxes were surprisingly tasty. Everything was selfmade by "the stomach engineer". These two guys made the safari an unforgettable experience! Thank you so much for that!!
My husband and I used Moorland Safaris for a 2 days private mid-range safari. We were very impressed with everything right from our first contact with them by email up to our whole trip. They worked with us prior to booking to customize the trip we wanted. Our safari guide was amazing as well and his passion for his job was obvious. He would guide us for 8 hour game drives and show us everything we wanted to see, answer all our questions, and teach us a ton about all the animals. His ability to spot them and knowledge was unbelievable. It is obvious that Moorland instills customer service as their number 1 priority with all their guides, as he wouldn't let us lift a finger while on our safari. We had a minor issue with one of our accommodations (not Moorland's fault) and they handled it for us, going out of their way to make up for it even though it wasn't their fault. we received and would definitely recommend Moorland to anyone looking for a safari,

My wife and I had a wonderful Safari Tour in Tanzania with Morrland Safaris. We opted for a private Land Rover with a great English Speaking driver, he made sure that we got to see the Big 5 and really went out of his way to make sure that we were safe at all times. Next time we go to the Serengeti I would definitely use them and would not have any hesitation to recommend them to our friends and family. We started by asking for quotes from several safari organisers. From the start, Nasir's approach was outstanding. As we looked for budget/mid-range safari, just for two people, this was beyond our expectations. Accommodation was more mid-range than budget in all four places. Our driver Robin was fantastic. Full of information about the animals and nature, but also gave us room to enjoy it in our own space. Everything worked out really smoothly, we did not need to worry about anything. The whole experience was amazing and thanks go to Nasir & Robin!
My boyfriend and i, made a 2 days safar with Moorland Safaris in Tarangire and Ngorongoro crater, and it was really awesome, we were just 2 of us in private safari and this gave us the opportunity to take all the time we wanted, where we wanted to enjoy the wildlife and take pictures, thr organization was perfect as we did't have to think about anything else than having fun

My trip to Arusha was originally a work trip but at last minute decided to plan a safari while there. I had a rough idea what to do, but after searching I found Nasr from Moorland Safaris and he made the whole process so simple. He arranged an itinerary that gave me exactly what I wanted, he also met me in person to discuss and ensure I was happy with the trip. Plus, he offered a very competitive price! In two days we went to Tarangire and Ngorongoro crater, staying overnight in an amazing resort just outside the crater. Our driver Mohammed was excellent - he knew the itinerary but was flexible enough to ensure we saw everything on the safari. Lions, giraffes, elephants, zebras, wildebeests and even Rhinos....plus we got to see a rare sight, lions killing a warthog. Trip of a lifetime. 5 stars!

The staff and drivers are knowledgeable and efficient. The price is competitive. The wildlife is fantastic. The Ngorongoro Crater has stunning views as well as a wonderful assortment of wildlife. An amazing experience!
