Very quaint and well appointed Lodge. The staff were especially great with their service and overall hospitality! Meals were great and loaded with flavor. Special Thanks to Joyce for making our stay incredible! Asante and Karibu! Only downside is the road into the lodge from the highway, but that’s me being obviously picky and entitled. Overall No complaints!
Wow wow wow! This place is something out of a fairytale. I’ve never seen anything like it. Stunning views… unbelievable .. Wellworth Lake Manyara Kilimamoja Lodge is absolutely incredible. Perched on the edge of the Great Rift Valley. The hotel itself is just as amazing — beautiful rooms, stunning pool, and everything designed to make the most of that breathtaking view. Waking up here feels like a dream. One of the most spectacular places we’ve ever stayed.! A MUST see!!!
Lodge looks good at first, but the overall experience was disappointing: 1. The biggest issue was the second-night dinner arrangement. We were told guests staying a second night would not receive normal menu service and instead would get shared dishes “for a different experience.” However, the food arrived within minutes in unusually large portions, some even resembling items from my takeaway lunch box earlier that day. The meat tasted sour and had gone bad making it feel like leftovers were being reused. What made it more frustrating was that other tables still appeared to have menus, but staff insisted those guests were only staying one night, which did not seem convincing. 2. We also had sunglasses go missing after housekeeping prepared the room while we were at dinner... Compared to other lodges, the service and hospitality here felt below average. Good for one night to enjoy the view, but definitely not staying for more than one night.
I stayed here in November 2025 for my honeymoon. It was the most incredible place I ever stayed at that I am still thinking of it today. The staff were absolutely incredible. They prepared a romantic multiple course meal for us and decorated our bedroom, ran a bath with rose petals for us. The pool was beautiful especially at sunset. We received such a beautiful welcoming. With singing and dancing. We were gifted a bracelet and necklace to treasure forever. I would love to come back here. Thank you to the amazing staff - you made our honeymoon unforgettable ❤️
We felt like royalty at the Lake Manyara Kilimamoja Lodge. The lodge itself is breathtaking, with world-class amenities and views that take your breath away, but it is the staff who truly treat you like family. Augustus took such wonderful, personal care of us, and the F&B Director, Charles, ensured every meal was a delight. We loved that the Chef personally came to our table during meals to ensure we were happy, and we were touched when a waiter hand-picked a fresh grapefruit for our breakfast! The food was incredible, with all vegetables coming fresh from the lodge's own garden. Every day was filled with warm greetings from the staff and Masai women, and we loved the evening golf car rides back to our room. The highlight was our final night—they surprised us with a heartfelt farewell party and a cake, where the entire staff joined in to sing and dance for us. It was a truly moving experience.
