Our guide Cody was very good and helpful. Chapeau! We really enjoyed our trip and were glad we were not in an open Jeep

Reviews
The tour guide was very nice and friendly. However, unfortunately, our car broke down, and even though we called four hours in advance to explain the situation and ask for assistance, they were unable to help us. We had to change our tour time on the same day and were charged an additional $108.00. We understand that unexpected situations can happen, but we were disappointed by the lack of flexibility and support, especially since we contacted them well in advance. The tour guide was great, but the customer service and handling of our situation could have been much better.
The bus transportation was excellent to/from the canyon. Other tour companies you rode in the back of a pickup with wooden benches... can't imagine the bouncing as the road was bumpy and we had cushioned seats!! The tour leader, Loretta, was wonderful, paused to take pictures of every group individually, knowledgeable. Would use them again!
This tour was just magical. You can't go into the canyon with a guide and that's how it should be. It's a magical place and should stay that way. Our guide was so sweet helped everyone get good photos and also informative
Our tour to Antelope Canyon was awesome. Our guide was fantastic. It was an amazing place. We took tons of great photos.
This tour is absolutely amazing. Your guide very knowledgeable and friendly. Would definitely recommend this tour to others
Antelope Canyon was absolutely incredible! Would highly recommend this tour! Also, our tour guide Mike was amazing! Mike made the tour extra special with his knowledge, passion, and helpfulness with the whole group!
Great experience loved every moment of it
It was unbelievably beautiful with perfect photo opps. Our guide Loretta was from the area and had great knowledge of the canyon.
Our advice is to definitely put this on your bucket list! Some of the review's said it was too crowded and they were just moving tours through, but we had an enjoyable time. We had a very small group and a wonderful guide, Loretta!!! we never felt rushed, and we got to see the entire canyon and take tons of photographs. This is worth the effort
Nice and comfortable service.we enjoyed the tour guide explained so good.excellent job .perfect timing management.
I was with my friends and we were in bus number 46 , our guide was totally focused to females during whole trip . We paid same money with females but did not received equal service. Disappointed. He didnt even accept my photo request cause he was so busy with females
We were in Canyon areas of Utah and Arizona for 8 days and this was our favorite canyon experience. The guide was excellent and made sure our pictures turned out perfectly. This tour was more expensive than others, but I thought our guide made the extra paid worth it.
Beautiful. Our tour driver Cody was very informative on the structures. And he gave a bit of background on life on the reservation
It’s beautiful and something that you must see in person. Tour guide Cody was the best, very knowledgeable and helped take awesome pictures.
First off: The canyons themselves are fantastic! however ..The time zone issues can be a bit annoying. the mobile phones keep flipping from one to another.. check the clock in the hotels to make sure to get it right! Upon arriving at the starting point we were not greeted by anyone from the operator nor was it clear where/ how to check in . Suddenly they started to divide group by ticket number and name . I went to one of the "group dividers" and got a ticket stuffed in my hand.. still no idea what to do with that. After clearly showing my confusion i was told , not very friendly to go to a specific bus. Our driver /guide clearly was in a bad mood. This changed a bit to a bit more positive later on but still.. I am sorry i am there to make fotos, and this specific operator is advertised for precisily that .. As for the price.. 90 dollar and then at least 60 dollar additional fees on checkout . so in total more then 300 !!!!!!! dollar for 2 persons, which i think is a bit absurd , especially for the not so kind treatment we got.. so no.. no tips ! Way too expensive for the offered ecperience
We had the BEST tour guide- Art. He was so knowledgeable and took the time to help us take the best pictures. I think he is a photographer also and the pics he took and helped us take on our phones were sooo good. Highly recommend this tour. The views were gorgeous.
This is a must-see if you come to the Grand Canyon. It’s only two hours away and well worth the trip. Our guide was fabulous. He offered to take pictures of us in several different locations. He also had a lot of knowledge not only about the canyon but of the Navajo people that he shared with us.
This tour exceeded our expectations! Our tour guide Carlisle was extremely informative and is an excellent photographer! Thanks!
Burton Stone was phenomenal!!! He was informative, knowledgeable and humorous !! We learned so much about the area and he took such good care of us. He made sure of meeting individual needs while not neglecting others. The tour with the Navajo. Guide was beyond words…a must see if you are in the area. Beautiful and spiritual! Thank you Buton, you were simply the best!
Very impressed with operation. Never felt rushed. I found it difficult to get good pictures inside (light, reflection, etc) but “Tony” graciously took pictures for me and everyone else as he seemed to know more about our phone’s cameras than we did! He also did not overwhelm us with information, but answered our questions when asked.
Art is the best tour guide! He knows all of the best photo locations and gives tips on the best phone/camera settings
Carson, our guide, was the BEST!! He gave background info on the area, the canyon, took our pictures, and moved our group through the canyon! The tour went so smoothly! Tips: Follow their instructions and arrive 30 mins before your tour because they leave on time!! Don’t drink too much liquid before the tour. The only restroom is at the pickup area! We rode in a comfy 14 passenger van to get to the canyon. Tour is organized.
Bucket list experience Incredible to see in person. Amazing views and knowledgeable staff. Don’t miss it. Easy walking.
Carlson was an excellent guide. His stories of the canyon and his Navajo life were great.
Mind blowing experience! This slot canyon is like nothing I’ve ever seen! Our guide, Carlyle helped us take the most artistic photos of this incredible canyon.
It was hotter then expected, no purses or fanny packs, the upper canyon is an easy walk, the end walking back to van is most difficult part, jewel tones look so pretty in pictures, I wish our guide was a little more open to engaging with us. Great tour, definitely want to do lower next.
The canyon is amazing. It was created from flash flood rain water and it evolves every July through September. Our tour guide was great! She explained the formation, how it changing, and the best photo spots. Also, she was very patient with all the members of our group. We say thank you and kudos to her!
The canyon was beautiful. Our tour guide was great. Gave us a lot of history of the Navajo people on the short ride there and back. He even played the flute while we walked through the canyon.
Amazing experience! Clint was our guide and he was amazing. Highly recommend this tour.
Very interesting and beautiful Guide was very knowledgeable and did great pictures of our group. Canyon was beautiful.
Ask for Michael. We toured Upper Antelope Canyon with Adventurous Antelope Canyon Tours, and our guide, Michael, made us feel like guests rather than ticket-holders. He was warm from the first minute, patient with every question, and never made anyone feel hurried through the narrow stretches. The canyon is extraordinary on its own; Michael is what made the morning feel like a welcome. If you're booking, ask for him by name.
Wonderful experience even with a misty rain. Photo Nate was a wonderful guide, he was great at helping take the perfect pictures!
This was a magical experience! A don’t miss on any bucket list for sure. Our guide Loretta was excellent, knowledgeable and helped us to take amazing photographs. She took some as well because of her expert knowledge of lighting in the canyon.
I have painted Antelope Canyon from photographs many times so seeing it in person was a special treat. Incredible rock formations and colors. Our guide was very knowledgeable and spent time answering specific questions. Only suggestion I would have is to space the tours groups as there was often a bottleneck and took away from the magic of the place.
Really wonderful. Listen to your tour guide, they are very knowledgable about the history and how to take great photos.
Great experience. The tour guides are very helpful and will even take pictures for you—don’t forget to tip them for their generosity. Caution for anyone with mobility issues, cardiac issues, pregnant women…it is HOT and lots of stairs
Our tour of the Upper Canyon was a disaster from the start, with us being omitted when they were assigning guides, to being added to the last guide, who introduced himself by threatening to remove you from the tour if you didn't do exactly as directed. Compared to the other guides, he was absolutely rude and totally unhelpful. He ruined the experience for everyone in our group. I'm not saying to not go see Upper Anyelope Canyon. I'm say I would never recommend Adventurous as your guide service.
Wonderful lady tour guide. Beautiful sandstone. Our tour guide adjusted our cameras to get the best pics. She also pointed out special photo ops like the angel and dragon. She was very knowledgeable and happy to help with pics.
This tour is a great viewing experience. I did the upper canyon tour. The positives were the tour guide I had, which might be hit and miss if your group is allocated a poor fit. The actual walking isn't that far, about an hour very slow walking. The actual site is a 15 minute drive from the meeting point. Be prepared, some of the transfer ride is quite rough tire-rutted sand. The real downside with all these tours is the meeting point is as remote as the canyons and they are all poorly sign posted. Visitors have to rely on sat nav to find the right one. The pricing seems rather high, even though it appears the company operates on thin margins.
Fascinating with excellent guide. Easy to book through Viator and instructions for preparing very clear. Although the upper canyon is the easier tour for people who are not active, be prepared for some uphill waling and stairs at the end.
We did the upper antelope tour. You must have a tour guide. Carlisle was amazing and very helpful with the photos. The hike is very doable for all ages. If you are thinking about it this is your sign to go for it.
This was an incredible tour. Our guide, Mike, was so helpful. He showed us the best settings for our cell phone cameras to get amazing pictures. He showed us where to get the best shots and was more than willing to take pictures of us. So helpful!
This was a great tour from start to end . Very organized . Our Guide was Clint and he was amazing so knowledgeable, took photos for all of us . Highly recommend this tour!
This was an excellent tour and I’m really glad we went.
Great experience! Our guide, Art, was fantastic! The canyon is beautiful and we got amazing pictures. I’m very glad we went. I would go again to see it at night! The meetup is at mile marker 302 (know this because the directions say mile post which our maps couldn’t translate). I thought it was the name of a road. 😜 The walk through the canyon itself was easy. There are a lot of stairs to get out.
Tour guide was incredible a perfect fit for the tour
Very polite and pleasant. She spent time to take great photos for everyone in the group who wanted one. Not enough history given. The group behind us was getting lots of information and music playing.
What an amazing experience. Photo Nate, our guide, was the best. The canyon was beyond beautiful. Our guide showed us how to take some amazing pictures. I highly recommend this experience & you must ask for Photo Nate.
Best canyon of our trip. Great experience. The guide (Chet) helped us get great pictures. Thank you so much!
