We almost didn’t go because the price was more than we wanted to spend but it was worth it. Sonny our guide was great. He told us where and how to take great pictures making sure everyone came out with pictures to cherish. The upper canyon is easily accessible with trucks taking you to the mouth of the canyon and stairs and ramps back down at the end of the tour.

After check-in, get loaded up into a tent-covered truck and then bounce your way out to the canyon. For the next 15 minutes, feel like a tourist on Mars as the lifted tour truck drives through the deep red sand of the canyon wash. Then, accompanied by your guide, walk through the canyon with lots of photo opportunities. Step into the desert and enter a surreal world made from stone. Learn how the sandstone walls were sculpted by water and wind. Observe the rich and deep colors in the morning and afternoon, while at mid-day from April to September, you can see the daylight pierce through the narrow opening and reflect off the rock formations. Upon completing the stroll through the canyon, walk up metal ramps and stairs up over the top of the canyon, and back to the entrance.

Our tour of the upper antelope canyon was great. We almost didn’t go because it cost more than we wanted to spend but we are so glad we did. It was worth it! Our guide was Sonny and he was wonderful. He gave us quite a bit of information on the canyon and showed us where and how to take the best pictures. He pretty much guaranteed everyone came out with great pictures. I have seen reviews that mentioned feeling rushed through the canyon but I didn’t feel that way. Yes they move you along since there is a tour right behind you but we had the time to take all the pictures we wanted. This was on my bucket list and I enjoyed every minute.
It was amazing!! So beautiful and our guide was very knowledgeable. He showed us how to take beautiful pictures in the canyon.
We had a fantastic and very professional guided tour. Nate helped us get the best pictures, knew every formation and how to take advantage of the light. He shared a a lot of information about the canyon itself, the geology but also its importance for the Navajo Nation
Incredible experience! The canyons are stunning! Our tour guide, Sherry Spencer, was fantastic, knowledgeable, and took the most beautiful photos for us. We had 3 adults and 2 kids (7 and 12) and it was great for all!
We had an amazing time! We did this Spring Break in March, No need to book months in advance, could have booked same day walk up. For a family of five we paid an extra $265 (no joke) in FEES booking in Viator vs booking direct. Big BUMMER!!
This is a beautiful canyon. Our guide was very knowledgeable and helpful. The views were amazing. Loved it.
I’m pretty disappointed that your company price was much cheaper and on top of that we have to pay extra fee. I feel over charged. Tour guide was very knowledgeable and helpful but after realized pay more than company charge I felt not worth the money.
Enjoyed the guided tour with Jay! His knowledge of the history of the antelope canyon so impressive along with his photography! We loved it!
I think that the experience Is expensive but is beautiful
Viator advertised this as Upper Antelope Canyon Sightseeing Tour with Entry Ticket. In your confirmation email it states you will need to pay a 5.00 admission fee/check in fee and tip and that is all. Viator sent us a email and indicated that we had to pay additional fees as they no longer covered them in 2026 bookings. We called them as our booking email from the day before did not indicate this. They would not pay for our entry tickets so we had to pay an additional 15.00/person to the Navajo Nation. Please skip Viator and book for half of the money directly with any of the 3 upper canyon tour companies. This is the cheapest option and Viator offers no other benefit. The guides and all employees of the tour company we used were amazing! We used Tse Bíghanílíní Tours for our tour. You can book with them for under 100.00 and that includes your Entry fee to the park for the day.
The guides were excellent and the Canyon was beautiful. Ride out was bit bumpy but it was a soft road. The outfit really had their act together.
Great experience. Amazing place to visit. 45 minutes tour with a very nice guide and a lot of possibilities to take pictures.
Upper Antelope canyon is absolutely surreal, spectacular and Beautiful!!! It was well worth going during prime time when the sun rays shine in. Our tour guide, Sonny, was also great. He was friendly, informative and took pictures for us all. Highly recommend to everyone!
Great tour, Keanu, our guide, was awesome. He was entertaining and informative. He made our tour great. I would recommend this tour.
The upper antelope canyon tour was amazing. Our guide, Keanu, was informative and entertaining, & took several great pictures of us and all other participants during the tour, inside the canyon, which gave us special memories of our trip to take home.
Don't book through Viator. It's a ripoff. They charged 2X the price at the gate for nothing. There was plenty of room available on the tours at the site. No-one from Viator was there. No guide or anything. All we did was pay 2X the price for them to make a reservation. Antelope Canyon is great. A tad crowded but worth it. Just don't book through Viator - its a scam.
This was an amazing experience. Our tour guide was fun and knowledgeable about the canyons. Was impressed they even helped with the phone settings to get the most unforgettable photos. Everyone with the company were great to deal with.
What a beautiful canyon. Didn’t know what to expect, but the views and picture opportunities were endless! Our guide was so good at changing photo settings on our phones to get just the right shot, and to point out things we probably would have otherwise missed. Vehicle ride to the canyon was quite rough…maybe not good for anyone with back issues. Canyon was easy to hike, and hike out was also pretty easy.
Awesome! The tour group was so friendly! The tour guide, Dana, was so friendly, thoughtful & so helpful! I heard other people express the same with their tour guides. Awesome experience! Watch for the sand in your eyes!😎
JoyFun Tour provided a horrible experience. We booked four tickets for an Upper Antelope Canyon tour on March 15th but got stuck in a snowstorm in Northern Arizona that blocked all roads. We immediately contacted JoyFun Tour to explain our situation, but their response was rude. We requested to reschedule our tickets to the next day so we could travel once the roads cleared. They refused, claiming no available slots for the entire next day, but upon checking their website, we found slots were indeed available. JoyFun is unprofessional as they couldn't offer either a refund or reschedule our tour. A snowstorm is something we cannot predict beforehand to request a refund 24 hours prior. Their management lacks empathy and operates with unfair business practices. I suggest booking directly from the tour operator rather than going through a third party. They are creating a fake hype about demands for tickets which is not the case. We got the tickets much more cheaper than what was in their website. This appears to be just a money-making business for them. If you want to visit antelope, don't book in joy and go directly to the place and get cheap tickets there.
I had a terrible experience booking through the Viator app for our Antelope Canyon trip. We purchased four tickets for the Upper Antelope tour at $160 each, scheduled for March 15th. Unfortunately, due to a severe snowstorm in Northern Arizona, major highways (I-17 and SR 89A) were completely blocked, leaving us stranded without any road access to reach the canyon. We immediately contacted Viator to explain the situation and requested a reschedule for March 16th. Shockingly, their customer service was not only unhelpful but also completely indifferent to our genuine predicament. They refused to accommodate a date change and flatly declined any form of refund—whether partial or full—despite the circumstances being entirely beyond our control. In contrast, we had also booked a Lower Antelope tour through another company and when we informed them of the same situation, they promptly offered either a full refund or a rescheduled tour. This shows that fair and customer-centric policies are possible—Viator simply chooses not to follow them. Viator’s management is unprofessional, lacks empathy, and operates with unfair business practices. Their rigid and dismissive approach to customer issues is unacceptable. I strongly advise others to avoid booking through Viator if you value reliable service and fair treatment. If I could give zero stars, I would.
Jay was our Guide. He was thorough and thoughtful. He helped us take pictures with our phones that we wouldn’t have gotten otherwise. And made sure each group got individual shots within the canyon. Loved the Canyon, loved the tour.
Sad to admit, even though I have owned an operated a VRBO/AIRBNB rental home on the East Side of Zion for over 12 years, I had never visited Antelope Canyon. While the price to visit the Antelope Canyon is a bit steep, it’s worth every penny I paid. This natural wonder is the most magnificent single example of nature I have visited in the US. AND I have been to every major national parks. I am 75 years old.
The whole trip experience was wonderful. The crew was great. Our guide Keanu was amazing. Took amazing pictures of us. Knew so much. I wouldn't recommend it enough. This place was so wonderful, everything was amazing. The side was beautiful. Just breathtaking but the crew and that company is what made it all worth it. So kudos to them. Definitely recommend it.
This was an amazing experience. Our tour guide JR did a wonderful job explaining the history and took some amazing pictures for us.
Antelope Canyon is with no doubt one of the most impressive places I have ever seen. The tour guide was absolutely amazing.
January 5th it was not crowded. Weather was nice. The tour guide was fantastic! He took us beautiful photos for us. Nice story teller. We loved the tour. It worth taking the tour.
Good tour. But we got hacked by Viator. If you go in off season buy your tickets online. We were charged $65 more per ticket through Viator for prime time tour (11-1) but during the winter there is no prime time and ticket prices are $65 less. I requested a partial refund for the overpayment, but was denied both by Viator and TSE BIGHANILINI. There are other choices. Steer clear of this one.
Gorgeous views! Exceptional tour guide! Photos turned out amazing thanks to tour guide! So many interesting facts we learned.
The beauty of the canyon is breathtaking. Best colors at noon. Our guide was awesome! Knew so many places to take good pictures and extremely knowledgeable about phone cameras. So helpful to keep our precious memories!! Great tour!!
Wonderful colors and unique formations. Navajo guide was fabulous - she shared lots of history and really helped with how to get the best pictures. Thoroughly recommend - especially the midday time slot when the sun is shining through the crevices.
we arrived just in time for our reservation due to a problem with our gps and not an hour before as they ask you to do and just because of that they wouldn't let us on our tour when we could have easily joined our group that hadn't left yet. if you are looking for a tour company that cares about you and really goes above and beyond to try to give you the best experience DO NOT go with them, CJ super nasty and no sense of hostess. better go to dixie.
There are a lot of companies in Page that do this. Don’t go with this one. We enjoyed it as a family but this company didn’t care about our experience or anyone else’s. The moves you through like cattle and we’re rude. They drove recklessly to the canyon in an open truck. There was another company that came in just behind us and we were jealous…. The guests were happy and the guides were amazing from what we could tell. I didn’t catch the name of the company but they had vans instead of open trucks. I wouldn’t go with joyfun tour. Just my opinion.
outstanding guide who made the experience. The ride is a bit bumpy, and the stairs can be a challenge, but it was well worth it.
We had heard so much about this tour and were not disappointed. We signed up too late to get the mid-day optimal experience so I would recommend signing up well in advance.
Beautiful!!! Should be in Everyone’s bucket list!! It is well worth visiting The Antelope Canyon do not hesitate!!
Amazing experience! 100% worth it! The tour guides were very fun and knowledgeable and the sights are unforgettable. The drive to the canyon was a thrill and the tour was both peaceful and jaw dropping. I definitely recommend this tour if you’re looking for an exciting and breathtaking experience!
The upper antelope canyons are ok to go with childrens not much of a hike. Very very scenic & beautiful. The place is a bit crowded. There is always another group coming behind the groups which always pushes to go ahead & another group in front of you. The place is very beautiful, try to take a midday tour, when the sun is up, the canyon reflects or shows a variety of red orange & yellow shades
This place is or should be a bucket list trip. At 72, I've never seen better scenery. Our guide Wyatt was incredible. He would take your phone and make unbelievable shots
I had a great time touring Upper Antelope Canyon, the guides were super helpful and knowledgable during the entire process.
The upper antelope Canyon tour was incredible. The tour company ran very efficiently and effectively, was very knowledgeable about the caves, and our family had an absolute blast. We have a 12-year-old, 11-year-old, and four-year-old, and all three loves the experience
Jane is very nice tour guide, she is very approachable and she is always there to guide us.This place is so beautiful
Mariah was an amazing tour guide, very knowledgeable, and took amazing pictures of my husband and I! We were sad when the tour ended. We could have stayed all day in the canyon! Highly recommend!
Well worth the trip. Our guide was very knowledgeable and gave an excellent tour of the canyon. Definitely would go back.
One of the most amazing things I have ever seen. Went in the afternoon which created a very special effect of the lighting
The tour is great. But beware of 3rd party tickets! Buy your tickets direct for $100 each -- do not use a 3rd party. I purchased 2 tickets from GET YOUR GUIDE -- and they added an additional $98 to the ticket price then you have to pay another $5 per person CASH at the check in window. You wait for pickup trucks to drive you to the canyon. There are only port a potties and no A/C or waiting room.
Tour was great and was beautiful. BUYER BEWARE - TripAdvisor/Viator price, advertised as Guaranteed lowest price, was $128 more expensive for 2 than buying directly from the tour company. This is the last time I will use their services.
The views in the canyon were incredible! Our guide was very knowledgeable about the canyons formation. He also knew a lot about how to use settings on the iPhone to take some incredible pictures!
We booked the Upper Antelope Canyon tour at last minute and we were not disappointed. The views are amazing and our guide, Ty was so nice. He grew up near the canyon, so he was knowledgeable about the area and the history and he was a great photographer. He knew exactly where to take the pics to get the best shots. Definitely add this tour to your trip if you're in the Lake Powell or Page area. The tour was only an hour and half, so we didn't get too hot. With that said, I wish we went later in the day so we could see more of the sunlight coming into the caves. Everything with JoyFun tour was easy, we downloaded our tickets, checked in and we were on our way on-time.
