Olivia brought so much energy and kept the whole tour really well organized. John was also a great driver — smooth, safe, and steady throughout the trip. Both did an amazing job! Highly recommend!

For (Non-hiking tours) Travelers will gather at their designated meeting point at the time indicated on their selected tour slot. From there, they will board a specialized off‑road vehicle for a ~15‑minute journey each way along an unpaved route to the entrance of Upper Antelope Canyon. Upon arrival, guests will meet their dedicated Tour Guide and begin their guided canyon experience.
(For Hiking Tour only) Join us on a guided hiking adventure to the breathtaking Upper Antelope Canyon, where every step reveals the deep cultural and spiritual significance of the land. This 2-mile round-trip journey is designed for experienced hikers and offers a unique opportunity to learn how the Navajo people honor and protect this sacred landscape. Along the way, discover the stories, traditions, and values that make this canyon not just a natural wonder, but a living testament to Navajo stewardship.
Antelope Slot Canyon - One of the most amazing sights you will ever see, Antelope Canyon is a natural slot canyon carved over time by water and wind to create a symphony of shapes, colors and shadows. You will visit Upper Antelope Canyon, famous for its tall canyon walls, beautiful colors and formations. Antelope Canyon is located southeast of the town of Page, AZ. This part of the canyon is chiseled out by millions of years’ worth of flood erosion and impactful winds on its sandstone. This incredible canyon has been created over many thousands of years by the relentless forces of water and wind, slowly carving and sculpting the sandstone into the forms, textures, and shapes which we observe today. The scenery in Upper Antelope Canyon changes constantly as the sun moves across the sky, filtering light softly across the stone walls. These ever-moving sun angles bounce light back and forth across the dramatic canyon walls. The displays of color, light, and shadow will astound you.

You see pictures of the Red Rock Canyon but when you see it in person it is truly spectacular.
This was a lovely hike thru the park before reaching the canyon and some incredible views. Our guide pointed out excellent photo opportunities and helped everyone in the tour group take many photos.
Nolan was a great guide, we learned a lot about the history of the Navajo Nation and he showed us how to get the best photos!
Beautiful, remarkable, and interesting. Better light but more crowded earlier in the season. Our Navajo guide was very personable and informative. Worth the experience!
We had a wonderful time. Out tour guide was fun and knowledgeable. He took marvelous photos of us . The Upper Antelope Canyon tour was well worth it!!
Lovely guide, she was so helpful and assisted us taking gorgeous pictures. A lovely day and an unforgettable experience
Beyond the wonderous beauty that is the Upper Antelope Canyon, was the fantastic experience provided by Hogan Canyon Tours. They are the only company that offers a walking tour, with a significantly lower cost. The walk there is relatively easy (all downhill) and the walk through the canyon was casual and plenty of time was allowed for picture taking and just taking in the amazing views. Our guide was quite knowledgeable and assisted with group pictures. We were very happy with the entire experience we had with Hogan Canyon Tours and whole heartedly recommend them. Our experience with Tripadvisor was a bit more frustrating as they did not provide the information for the tour company until late the night before. We had tried to check the drive before hand to be sure we allowed sufficient time and that was much more challenging than it needed to be. Still don't understand why that information wasn't part of the initial confirmation.
Fantastic experience! The experience seems other worldly. The pictures do not even do it justice. A once in a lifetime experience that everyone should experience.
Great guide. Very knowledgeable and great at taking pictures. A morning visit was great in October, before it became too hot out. Learned a lot about the caves and rock formations. A must do.
We had Bernice and she was a fantastic guide! Very knowledgeable and took the best pictures for the entire group. We did the lower canyon years ago, and did the upper this time.. it’s just gorgeous.
Very cool experience and our guide was so knowledgeable on how to get the best pictures. Easy hike in and out of canyon.
I’m sorry I don’t remember our guides name but he was excellent. So informative and took pictures in multiple spots for everyone in our tour group.
We took a guided tour for the Upper Antelope Canyon, with "Adventurous Antelope Canyon Tours". It was one of the best experiences to look at the massive smooth waves of vermillion reaching up to the sky as we walk the canyon floor. The ticket provided for the entire guided tour from the meeting point at the tour office through the canyon and back. The guide was very informative and friendly, explaining the history and geology of the canyon and clicked some great photos for us. Further, it was slow-paced we had ample time to soak in the experience!
Viator gave us totally wrong information about this tour. Including the wrong address to meet the tour operator, the tour operator’s name. When I called to complain after the fact, the representative basically argued with me and told me that they had given us the correct information which is not true.
Beautiful site don’t miss the opportunity the colors are exceptional and it all natural. We loved it
Even though it was partly cloudy we still had a great experience!! It was on the bucket list for our group of retired adults. It was an easy walk and our guide helped us get some great pictures. The ride out was bumpy so be aware if you have back problems. Loved the tour!
Fantastic guide! Learned a lot about the Navajo nation along with the canyon. Clint was very helpful with photos and pointing out the high points of this beautiful area.
The tour was amazing, I would highly recommend it to everyone! However this company didn’t provide the actual outfit we were going with so we had to drive to different outfits ‘til we found out who we were with, we were also on the phone with customer who was no help at all.
The tour itself was great! Our guide was very informative and helped take some amazing photos! This is a hiking tour. Please be prepared to walk 1+ miles each way to get to the canyon. We are older and it proved to be a bit challenging. The reason for giving it four, not five stars is because Viator gave conflicting and confusing information about the start time. The email stated that the start time was the same as Phoenix time. However, starting about 4 am, I was getting alerts with a count down to how many hours to the start of the tour. The countdown listed one hour earlier than Phoenix time. I had read online that others had experienced confusion about start times, because the Navajo Nation, who conducts the tours, observes daylight savings time whereas the state of AZ does not. The email was very clear that if you did not check in one time, you forfeit the admission and no refund is given. I ended up emailing and calling the local operator and confirming the tour was in fact on Phoenix time. The Viator countdown created absolutely unnecessary confusion and stress.
Excellent experience. Guide was great. Would highly recommend. Be warned about a significant climb when leaving the canyon. They offered an easier option but my group declined.
Bernice was charming and informed! The canyon is a must see!
The toll supposed to start at 10 o’clock but they required to be there at 45 minutes before for the check-in. You just go to the computer and sign something and understand why we have to be there 45 minutes and the centre is 20 minutes away from the canyon so they have to drive you there waste of time the actual walking is 20 minutes so even though it says 50 to 2 hours you wanted to get to do with the walks and driving and the actual canyon with 80 minutes and you miss the dim lights if you go at 10 o’clock even though they still have time to keep you there to see them at 11:15 but you leave before 11 everything is rushed you go with a group of people of 10 with other groups so they are like around 10 groups with you going at the same time. No time to take photos. Everything is rushed there’s no individual photos for the value of the Tour that you pay which is very expensive for 20 minutes is completely disappointing. It was disappointing to be rushed. It was disappointing to miss the dim lights. I would absolutely not recommend this Tour.
Just expect 20 minutes of drive from the centre of the meeting point to the actual Can and then the actual Can is 20 minutes walking you just get rushed through with the other groups so usually come with 10 cars with a lot of people you don’t get to see individual photos and take individual photos. It’s usually a good photos so you don’t have time to do these things. Everything is rushed and if you do 10 o’clock you don’t get to see the dim lights so completely disappointing
Great experience. Learned so much about the canyon and our tour guide Leland was so patient and knowledgeable. He helped take some memorable pics
Please make sure you reconfirm the meeting point address with the operator the day before the tour. The location mentioned in the ticket was not exactly right.
This has got to be one of the most beautiful places on earth! The guide was amazing and took wonderful pictures of us!
What a fantastic experience this was...our guide knew what shadows and light formations would be at our time of day, and helped us take photos, adjust our camera settings, etc...VERY good! highly recommend
I absolutely loved my tour guide Jake and had the best experience! He was friendly, knowledgeable, and took pictures for each group in my tour. Thank you for such an incredible experience.
Very well organized. Lillian was a great tour guide. She explained the upper antelope canyon history and helped to take amazing pictures. Looking forward to returning again in the future.
Our guide was fabulous and made it such a special experience. He was very knowledgeable and really made you appreciate the beauty of that very special place.
We did this tour 2.5 hrs after the Lower tour. Both were informative and exciting. Our tour guide, Delbert, was very knowledgeable and personable. Would recommend this tour.
The tour company was great and our guide was so nice and knowledgeable! The ride to the canyon was very fun in the jacked-up comfy van.
The good parts: The canyon and our guide were outstanding. Our 20-minute bus ride to the canyon was very comfortable. The canyon is stunning and our guide helped us by offering to take our picture many times throughout the tour and showed us some of the best places to take pictures. He was knowledgeable about the canyon and very pleasant. The bad parts: The cost is too much for a 2-hour tour. They also recommended we use the bathroom before we left but they only have 2 bathrooms and they stack all the tours together so there is a ridiculously long line you have to wait in to use the bathroom. Also, as you tour the canyon, sand rains down on you from above and at times even blows in your eyes which makes it less pleasant. I recommend a hat.
Seeing Antelope Canyon was an amazing experience. Our guide was awesome and our entire family enjoyed it. Even our 19-year old grandson was totally enthralled with the experience.
The tour by the Indian guide was great; I’ll recommend this to friends. The bad part of this experience is from Viator’s incomplete instructions on where to meet our tour group. We almost missed our ‘non-refundable’ tour due to unclear directions. Viator should more specific in their directions so as to avoid ANY ambiguity when going to our meeting place.
Antelope canyon was beautiful! Guide made it unenjoyable! The minute he got on the bus he made it known If he was not tipped we would not get his best!!!! Said we would rock and roll right through unless paid to slow down. Would only allow pictures the right spot if paid $10 per person. Very expensive short walking tour with so many other great parks around!
We did the 10:40 AM hiking tour as we were unsure about the "bumpy ride" reviews and hiking in the heat of the day. One week prior it was predicted to be 93, we got lucky as clouds came in and our hike temperatures were between 60 and 70. The high was 76 for the high later that day, with only a breeze that morning versus the occasional unpredictable strong winds blowing sand in your face ( anywhere you hike consider taking a mask and at least sunglasses in case). We met at Upper Antelope Hogan Tours sign in booth, then drove about 1-2 miles on dirt road to another parking area. I do not recommend you drive in a low clearance car. I wore a light sunscreen long sleeve shirt with lots of pockets as you can't take a fanny pack, small backpack, bag, or anything. They said no metal water bottles but several had them (they work well as they have a loop on the top for easy carrying). I suggest tall socks as those without had lots of sand in their shoes that had ankle/no show socks (hich can create blisters). From the second picnic table/water station we were able to stroll around if we wanted, it was a good time to get to know people in your group as well as the guide. Then we walked downhill 1.2 miles to the top of a staircase. There were two stations along the walk with one picnic table and an igloo water container. At the second table we had 30 minutes to wait (in the sun) before descending down multiple steps and a ramp into the canyon. The time spent there would depend on the speed of the group hiking - if slower you would have less time to wait. HIGHLY recommend good shoes, good socks, a sun hat, either a sunscreen long sleeve shirt or sunscreen, and water. Roughly 3/4 of the hike was on a primitive road with deep sand - so a long hike in beach-like conditions. We are 69 years old and do hikes often, it was doable for us but not an easy flat walk until you were IN the canyon. The walk inside the canyon was incredible, flat, and 1/2 a mile long from entrance to exit per our satellite phone recording. The inside of the canyon is a bit indescribable inside, so I won't attempt to do so - go experience it! Please remember this is sacred space for the local tribe and be respectful. You can at times feel sand falling down on you in some areas so don't look straight up, and consider wearing a hat. You exit the canyon at a different point and hike up a steep narrow "path" in deep sand along an edge, and end up circling back to the picnic table you arrived at before descending the stairs into the canyon. Then you hike back 1.2 miles UP HILL, it is now later and warmer. The first 3/4 mile is in deep sand, the last 300 yards were the steepest uphill, but on a more solid surface - so be prepared for that last push to your parked vehicle. Then you give up your lanyard with your ticket to an employee walking around in the parking area and off you go - follow signs to depart on your own via the sandy road you came in by. At the entrance of the canyon I saw several different types of vehicles that drive you right to the entrance if you choose the transportation option: from open pickup trucks with padded bench-like seats covered with a canvas sunshade to enclosed air conditioned vans. When I looked at all the tours it did not explain what type of vehicle you would be driven in - that would be helpful to find out. When registering there was no phone number to call if you had questions. You can email and wait for a response. The hiking tour requires a pass (apx +$16 each). It seems there are multiple names for said pass: "entry fee" "hiking pass" etc. They are all one and the same, just look for the $15-$16 + tax fee. That is not needed as far as I can tell for the transportation tour. Our guide, Taylor, was of the Navajo tribe and had great history and culture facts to share. He was respectful, had perfect English although he also spoke the Navajo language. If I had one wish, it would be that there was a way for everybody to hear the guide; the people in the back of the group could not hear what was being said. Taylor was also GREAT in taking photos for everybody. We hope to come again, but perhaps not this fall when we again drive through AZ as it is monsoon season and flooding can create a severe flood risk several times a month from mid June to the end of September. We will be driving through early August and returning to the west coast the 3rd week of September; right in the midst of the season. NOTE: we saw a wonderful prediction for weather for the rest of the day, so after lunch we drove to Horseshoe Bend ....and right back out (they did not make us pay) as the conditions appeared questionable. A wind storm hit about 8-10 minutes later while we were on the highway, with high winds and some rain. We were SO GLAD WE WERE NOT OUT IN THOSE CONDITIONS HIKING!! Brutal - sounded like our truck was being sandblasted and visibility vanished not far into the distance. We went to Horseshoe Bend the next morning and it was perfect....Have fun!
We had an absolutely amazing experience at Antelope Canyon! The canyon itself is breathtaking and even more beautiful than we imagined. Every view felt like a work of art, and it was truly one of the highlights of our trip. A special thank you to our guide, Arthur. He was incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, and professional throughout the tour. He shared interesting information about the canyon, helped us take great photos, and made the entire experience enjoyable and memorable. Arthur’s passion and expertise really made a difference. We are very grateful for this unforgettable experience and highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Antelope Canyon. Thank you, Arthur, for making our visit so special!
Guide said he would just roll through unless paid to slow down. Would stand in the best picture places unless paid $10 a person for the picture spots Canyon itself was beautiful but expensive for a short walking tour
As the title states, it’s definitely a bucket-list destination. Took my wife and the in-laws and they all enjoyed it much! Shout out to our guide Brandon, he was hospitable and looked out for my father in law whom has difficulty walking. I would recommend this tour for sure!
This tour is phenomenal- it 100% lives up to the hype. One of the most beautiful places I have ever seen. Mario was an exceptional guide!
My husband, two sons and I really enjoyed the tour. Our tour guide, Michael, was very knowledgeable and friendly. We took the most amazing pictures. We would definitely recommend this tour!
This was so amazing. I have never seen anything like this. Clint was amazing and explained so much.
Incredible beams of light splashing across multi colored sandstone made it amazing. Worth every penny to see God’s handiwork in such a unique way. Clinton was superb as our guide, showing great photo shots so we would go back home with amazing photos! Also enjoyed his sharing about his Navajo culture. A memorable day!
There is a short hike through sand and it might be windy on the way but it is worth it! Once we were in the canyon it brought me to tears.
Mario and his trainee were very good.
Wonderful tour. Highly recommended despite of long drive
This tour was exceptional. Everyone should make this trip to the antelope canyons once in their lifetime. Our tour guide was exceptional.
It was a good experience liked the view and the tour. Was a little bit rushed but had a good time.
