Rachel’s Knoll until we stepped into what maybe was the most beautiful place we saw in Sedona. In the 1970’s Rachel Patty Lunt was looking to purchase some land in Sedona. While looking at the areas she could buy, she came to this place. It is said that when Rachel stepped on the knoll, she felt the energies going through her body. It was just so beautiful. She knew right away, that this was her special place. She figured that a place like that should be for everyone to enjoy. So she became dedicated to keep this place open to people living in and visiting Sedona. When people talk about Sedona, they often mention the spiritual aspect of it, the vortex. Sedona is said to have several energy centers which are called vortexes. It is thought you can get positive energy from the vortex sites and you can feel it in your body.

Unfortunately, my tour got rained out, but the staff was very accommodating. They tried to do everything they could to make the most of the day.
John was terrific. His familiarity with the traffic and crowds to optimize our stops and overall experience were greatly appreciated. John is very knowledgeable and shared points of interest with lots of information about each destination. He offered advice about visiting other places of interest to the passengers with tips on timing and how to navigate the experiences desired.
Avery was very knowledgable, flexible, helpful and accomodating. We were able to see and experience several sights in the Sedona area. It was a beautiful day and the open jeep was a great way to experience the area. There was no need for a lot of walking, which was important for my husband with back issues. However, there was an opportunity to explore further if one desired. It was well worth the money
Absolutely a fabulous tour. Our tour guide Whelan was fantastic and very informative. We took the earlier tour and it really worked out for us to get to the Chapel before it got super busy. They had H2O and stopped when we needed a potty break. My only suggestion is do it during the week instead of weekend. 💯💯
Honestly, one of the best tours we’ve ever been on! Whelan was so knowledgeable and entertaining! We learned so much and had the BEST day! We would give it more than five stars if we could!
Highly recommend this trip. David our guide was amazing!!! Very knowledgeable!!!!
Amazing day! Whelan was our guide and he was knowledgeable and very helpful. He brought us to the most beautiful spots in Sedona. Highly recommend!
Educational and relaxing. Bring a good camera to take great scenic shots. Thanks John for the great photo spots and tips on excursions etc.
Cowboy Bob led us on a beautiful tour of Sedona. As a native of Sedona, he had great stories to tell and lots of history. Loved it.
David was a good driver and pretty informative. Chapel of the Holy Cross is a must visit. The lunch stop was actually at Tlaquepaque arts & shopping village. Amitabha stupa and peace park was supposed to be one of the stops, but we were not brought there. So that was the only disappointing part of the day. We were not told we were not going there and we're not given a reason for skipping that stop. David did take us on a 30 +/- minute ride to nowhere, where he pulled in to a place where it looked like there were vendors under booths, but didn't get close enough to see it because he just turned around in the parking lot and went back to the starting point. So the last 45 minutes was just basically driving to nowhere. The stops that we did go to were all awesome!
Brad was a great guide. It was a wonderful experience.
We were a group of 8 friends and had a great time! Our guide (Brad) was terrific...very informative, interesting, introspective and fun. It was just the right amount of time at and between sites. We appreciated the group photos and the cold water bottles available! Highly recommend.
Our guide never showed up and they didn’t have a replacement driver so they cancelled it on us without any notice at all. Need I say more??? Very unprofessional, and they never even reached out to apologize for any inconvenience.
JC was an amazing tour guide. He shared his knowledge of the area and the history throughout the tour. All guests decided an off road tour was what we wanted and JC obliged! It was a fantastic day and we would book again.
Great tour of some very interesting places around Sedona. J.C. Was a great tour guide.
John was a wonderful guide, very knowledgeable and friendly.
John was the best Tour Guide! I highly recommend this tour!
What a GREAT EXPERIENCE!! Our tour guide, Leslie, was so knowledgeable and accommodating! We got some wonderful pictures commemorating our trip..highly recommend! (And ask for Leslie!!☺️)
We did the ultimate Sedona tour and it did not disappoint. John was so knowledgeable and took us to the best kept secret places. It is a perfect first day in Sedona tour.
Taking a Scenic Tour is well worth it to visit Sedona. My guide, Lisa, was wonderful—she gave very detailed explanations and allowed plenty of time for taking photos.
I would have liked to see more scenic areas.
Great tour to see all of the highlights in Sedona. We were lucky to have our guide, Avery, all to ourselves. He is full of information about the area and the Grand Canyon where we are headed next. Highly recommend this experience!
This tour was 100% worth the money! Our guides were John and Gary who were incredible. John had extensive knowledge on the history of Sedona and offered us so many suggestions for future visits! John and Gary made this trip one to remember for sure and we WILL be back again!! All of the sites we visited were stunning and we got great photos!
Amazing tour! A unique way to see Sedona and gives you a great idea on what you want to go back to. Worth it!
We absolutely loved the vortex & scenic tour with Avery! He is a fantastic guide, giving us incredible insights of beautiful Sedona, tribal history and all its spiritual truths. He has a gift of connecting people with their heart. We were grounded and feeling deep peace by the end - Thank you Avery! If you are on a spiritual journey of healing, we highly recommend this tour for you.
Amazing experience! The views were amazing. No other Jeep Company went where we went.
What a great day!! Our guide JC was very informative and considerate of our needs. The tour was everything we expected and then some, a great day!!
We had an incredible time with John ! His knowledge of the area was amazing ! He gave us details information and was friendly!
Our tour guide Chris was very knowledgeable of Sedona, very charismatic and held good conversation throughout the tour.
Our tour guide was John, and he was great. Long time resident that knew a lot about the area and the sites. Some of the sites were closed off because of a wildfire in the area, but John made sure we got to do and see other things. Had a great time and family loved it.
CK was amazing! We had a great safari ride and CK was very knowledgeable and informative. Would definitely recommend!
Patrick was an excellent, knowledgeable and fun guide and driver. His stories kept us interested and learning at the same time.
My husband Tom and I did the Ultimate Sedona Experience Jeep Tour, and we were incredibly fortunate to have Patrick as our guide. He was absolutely phenomenal from start to finish! Patrick was professional in every way, but what truly made the experience exceptional was his wonderful sense of humor and his incredible knowledge of Sedona’s history, landmarks, and hidden gems. Every stop along the tour became more meaningful because of the stories and insights he shared with us. He made the entire experience fun, engaging, informative, and unforgettable. You can truly tell he loves what he does, and that enthusiasm made our day even more special. If you’re considering this tour, I highly recommend asking for Patrick — he turned a great tour into an extraordinary one. Thank you, Patrick, for giving Tom and me such an amazing Sedona adventure!
We took a vortex tour led by JC. He was terrific; personable, funny, knowledgeable and attentive, from his Crocodile Dundee attire to his smooth driving on the rough roads. We enjoyed the blend of geology, ancient human and animal history to the detailed descriptions of the local flora, both ancient and modern. He even shared info on UFO sightings! The views were spectacular. We got to experiment with dousing rods on the vortex sights, and learn about the innumerable ancient ruins “ hidden in plain sight.” We felt like we got our money’s worth and then some!
This was the best way to introduce my mom to Sedona. Our guide was Mike, and he was awesome in every way! He knew all the best spots and made the experience incredibly memorable.
Patrick was absolutely amazing! He made our Ultimate Sedona Experience Jeep Tour, Vortex & Digger adventure unforgettable. Very knowledgeable, friendly, and fun throughout the entire tour. The views were incredible, the vortex stops were fascinating, and the jeep ride was exciting. Patrick made everyone feel comfortable and made the whole experience even more special. Highly recommend this tour if you visit Sedona!
This Jeep tour experience gave us the best of both a flat road travel and an off road travel. Our family loved driving thru the rugged terrain. We visited highlights of Sedona such as Cathedral Rock and look out point near Airport mesa that gave us an awesome view of Thunder mountain, coffee pot and an incredible red rock landscape. We visited the quaint Mexicans style village shops/eateries of Tlaquepaque . Michael our tour guy was awesome! He was so welcoming, Informative, funny and such an easy going person ( a ham for pictures too lol) Michael offered us a unique hands on experience with dowsing rods in a vortex area which we thought was a nice touch to our experience. We definitely will return and highly recommend “ Arizona safari Jeep Tours“ ! 😊
Michael was absolutely Amazing!!!! He curated so exceptional experience on all levels for this tour. He truly made me and cousins visit to Sedona special. I’m so grateful to have met such a wonderful Human being. Thank you Michael!
This is a great trip to get a little bit of everything in Sedona! The off road trail was awesome as was the guide's knowledge about the history of Sedona. Michael is an excellent tour guide and I highly recommend him.
The ultimate Sedona experience was really good our guide Michael was informative and funny which made the entire day fun and we got to learn many things.
This locally-owned company does a great job. We did the “Ultimate” on our first full day in town. It was a great way to orient ourselves and plan future day trips.
John was a great guide. He has been in Sedona for decades, and shared a lot of interesting facts about the city and surrounding area. The sights were spectacular….what beautiful country! We had ample opportunity to take lots of pictures, and we enjoyed both John’s commentary and socializing with the other folks on the tour with us. This was a great time! Highly recommend!
Make sure to let your guide know what it is you really want to see, so he'll make sure to fit it in. If I wouldn't have spoken up, I would've missed the main reason I signed up for it. Sign up for early in your trip, so you don't wind up having duplicate experiences on the tour.
What a lovely day we just had with John as our tour guide! The only critique I’d make if the stop at the Tlaquepaque Arts & Shopping Village. The shops were mildly interesting but way overpriced and not what I’d think of as a tourist shopping spot. It would have been nicer to take a shorter stop at a place we could pick up Sedona trinkets and maybe a stop to get out for pictures in Oak Creek Canyon. The best part of the day was visiting the vortex spot - Rachel’s Knoll! It was a special way to end an absolutely special day - thank you John for a great tour!
Great excursion, Vivian was very knowledgeable and entertaining throughout the whole trip would definitely recommend.
Really fun trip! Highly recommend! Our guide, Michael, was alot of fun! Very knowledgeable! Learned alot about Sedona! Nice to have someone else navigating so we could just enjoy the sights! Entire trip was great!
My wife booked the 5 hour tour. We had Michael as our guide and he was wonderful. He was knowledgeable of the area beyond the scenery. His story telling and historical knowledge was very entertaining. We loved his interactions with the group.
It was an easy walking tour. You see a lot of Sedona. Our driver John was very informative and very knowledgeable about the area.
This jeep tour was fantastic. Our guide Michael was very knowledgeable about the area and pointed out many of the iconic sights. He was also helpful in recommending other hike routes and locations to check out during our stay.
