We had a great tour with Chris when we visited friends in Tucson. Be sure to come hungry...we left completely full! One of our party was gluten free and Chris notified all of the restaurants beforehand. Every stop made accommodations to ensure that everyone could enjoy the local fare!

Great! Recommend this to everyone!
Love the guide Chris Koch - love the food, love the Restaurant choices, loved the walk and the history.
Karen was a wealth of knowledge as we toured Downtown Tucson. It wasn't just about the food, she highlighted buildings, murals, and offered tidbits of information about the city that she clearly loves. Thanks for making the afternoon so enjoyable.
The Tucson Food Tour was absolutely amazing. Four hours of enjoying downtown Tucson, eating wonderful food, learning about Tucson’s history and seeing such beautiful murals. This tour should be a must for anyone who enjoys great food and a side dish of history. Hopefully you will be lucky enough to have Karen as your tour guide, she was exceptional. Thanks again for the food tour 😀
Chris was our gastronomy guide for the night. He was full of Tuscon history and made the evening interesting with his knowledge. Would do this again!! Thanks for a great evening….
Just spent 3+ hours with 7 friends from my community and met a couple from Alberta, and two groups from two other states visiting Tucson. It was a clear, lovely day day for walking downtown Tucson seeing beautiful murals, learning the interesting history of this old town and the special designation of one of two gastronomic designations in the US. Wow! Our food stops didn’t disappoint. Started with a local tea shop stop, sooo many flavor choices to get hydrated for our tour. The locally owned restaurants were varied serving locally sourced choices. Tamales, salad, oh yum pizza that you’ve never thought of those ingredients together with a sourdough crust. Gelato finished the filling, 7 stop tour. Please don’t miss this if you are visiting or are a local! Ask for Karen Brown, she’s so knowledgeable and caring of all the tour participants.
Chris did a great job showing us various unique tastes of Tuscan. We started light and progressed to more substantial offerings. Each sample was of size that we got a good taste, but not so large that we felt bloated at the end. He highlighted the many gorgeous murals along our route and pointed out many points of interest. It was a lovely experience
Chris joined us at the hotel and gave us a great intro to Tucson on our bus ride in. We were doing a team building dinner and this was a wonderful way to learn about Tucson, some history and the dining scene, and Chris was very entertaining. All the food choices were excellent, the restaurants very welcoming and the entire group loved the experience. Thanks for making my job a little easier and getting the team to mingle!
We took the Tucson Food Tour today with Chris as our guide. Boy, did he do a great job! He knew everything about each building and mural we saw, and the food that we tried was super delicious! Starting it off visiting a tea place where we each got our choice of a nice, cool beverage to drink along the way was super smart on a little warm day. The foods/restaurants we tried were great, and we ended up having gelato to end our 4-hour tour. What a great way to learn about Tucson’s excellent food offerings! Thank you to Chris for a great day!
Chris, our guide, was phenomenal! He knew every bit of history of the landmarks, the restaurants, the owners of the restaurants, where they were started, if they had moved locations, the murals covering buildings, and lots more. It was great hearing someone talk about all the historical facts about each place we visited.
Karen was a wonderful guide-friendly yet professional, knowledgeable and patient. Lots of great food. Enjoyed the history of Tucson.
Chris did an excellent job. He was super knowledgeable and the food was delicious.
This should be the 2nd best thing to do n Tucson. In addition to great food, our guide Chris gave interesting and informative bits about Tucson. A good idea is to limit your breakfast before the tour. This was the lunch time tour.
What a fantastic way to experience the city! We loved eating and drinking our way through town, discovering delicious local spots along the way. Our guide, Chris, was wonderful! The history and stories he shared made the experience extra special and gave us a whole new appreciation for the city. A perfect mix of great food, drinks, history and fun. Highly recommend!
Chris was fabulous. Thanks for a great evening.
Absolutely outstanding tour, the food and drinks were next level amazing! My son and I rate the tour "10 out 10" thanks to our guide. Karen is fun, very knowledgeable, interesting, and clearly passionate about Tucson. We loved every minute, particularly the wonderful Karen-narrated local Tucson history as we wound our way to our many food/drink stops. As a new resident of the area, the tour gave me a great framework for future shopping and eating forays into downtown, and will henceforth be my go-to pick for introducing others to this amazing city. (I'm assuming that all Tucson Food Tours guides are wonderful, but if you have the chance to select Karen for yours, do so!) PS - Our tour was in September, and the Arizona heat was still going strong. Don't let this deter you! Lots of opportunities for shade, cold drinks, and pacing for all ages to happily beat the heat! Can't wait to bring my winter visitors!
Just pure fun. Incredibly accommodating to our large family group. Great variety of foods to sample!
Chris our guide was very knowledgeable and taught even us locals something new. Food spots were all very good
We really enjoyed our food tour of downtown Tucson with our guide Chris from Tucson Food Tours. All establishments we visited are locally owned and all the dishes we tried were specialties unique to each place. They were all excellent and we did not leave hungry. Chris did an great job with the overall pace of the tour and I loved the background he gave about the place, the owners and the dish we would sample before we entered each stop. Along the way we learned tons about the local murals and regional/ local history.. Chris was very knowledgeable and went out of his way to interact not only with the group (there were 9 of us total) but also everyone individually and made us all feel welcome. I would highly recommend this tour for both locals and out of town guests. It was a great way to get at taste of the Tucson food scene and an overview of downtown Tucson - past and present.
Just had one of best walking food tours. If you’re ever in Tucson check out Tucson Food Tours and ask for Chris as your guide. He’s super chill and knowledgeable…like hanging out with a friend! Thank you Chris!

So much fun! Our guide Chris was great, food was wonderful. All the restaurants were well chosen and we learned lots about Tucson too!
Excellent experience with Chris as our guide!
Our host was very knowledgeable, and each venue offered great food and drinks. The portions were so generous that many of us struggled to finish, and some didn’t! The weather was perfect, and the distance we walked was reasonable. We did have one handicapped guest who left early as it was difficult for him to keep up.
Enjoyed a wonderful tour with Karen. She was knowledgeable, helpful, and a lot of fun! Downtown Tucson was fun to discover. I highly recommend this company and asking for Karen.

Karen Brown led an informative and lively tour while making sure we were well hydrated on an unusually hot day in Tucson. Also she did her best to keep us in the shade during our two mile trek. The small plates were outstanding at every stop and Karen did a great job telling us the backstories of each place. We enthusiastically recommend this tour to newcomers to Tucson as well as long-time residents!

The food was great and the tour was really enjoyable. Our guide, Karen, was super friendly, knowledgeable and engaging - I’d highly recommend it.
Visiting a friend who winters in Tuscon, we thought this would be fun and it sure was!! Chris did an amazing job of guiding and offering many interesting facts about this town along the way. He answered loads of questions as we walked. We loved the start of our 4 hour tour being at a tea beverage spot. It kept us well hydrated and we took advantage of the refill option. Even though it was a busy day in town, all the places we stopped took care of us beautifully. The food choices were varied and representative of the unique cultures found. We would recommend this tour to all who visit. Several people in our group make this a permanent part of each visit. We will do this again next time we come to Tuscon, for sure! Well worth the money. Thank you!
Chris was an excellent guide!! He was extremely knowledgeable and fun. We made several stops along the walking tour. We made 6 restaurant stops which were absolutely delicious! Also included were stops at the beautifully painted murals and historic city sites. This tour was the highlight of our trip to Tucson!! Highly recommend!!
