It was Halloween. Our tour started just after sundown, and Tombstone was packed with trick-or-treaters and folks enjoying the atmosphere. Our tour guide, Ethan, was fantastic. Very knowledgeable about the town of Tombstone, its early West history and its inhabitants. We stopped at many of the town's famous landmark locations, where Ethan described the major events that shaped the town and the potential for ghosts or spirits to visit the living. We had a blast and really enjoyed engaging with a tour guide who knew the lay of the land. We're certainly planning to do Halloween in Tombstone again next year!

Itinerary
Most of the hauntings in this historic theater are thought to be performers. It's said sometimes that once you are on stage, as an actor, you never really get off. And this seems to be the case with the past performers of Schieffelin Hall, as most of the reported hauntings are around the stage and backstage area.
Step into the eerie shadows of the Tombstone Marshals Office, where the echoes of the Wild West's lawless days still resonate. Here, amidst the whispers of past gunfights and ghostly apparitions, the air is thick with tales of justice and vengeance that have left an indelible mark on this haunted landmark.
As you guessed it, this place like all others on our tour is also haunted. Here at the Big Nose Kate’s Saloon, most of the sightings and paranormal activity centers around the basement. Listen to the stories of this haunted location and what visitors have experienced.
The O. K. Corral, oftentimes thought of as the home of the famous gunfight between the Cowboys and the Earps, the gunfight that, well...made Tombstone famous. Today, the saying goes that the Earps and Cowboys never left. Hear chilling tales of what haunts this legendary location.
This building here is an original building from the 1880s. During the time of its operation, rumor has it that 26 people were killed in this theater and the walls of the theater accumulated 140 bullet holes, which still stand as remnants of times past.
Like many locations in Tombstone, this one too, hosts apparitions of times past. The tumultuous history of this location, including multiple fires, the robbery of 1886 and the 1887 earthquake in Sonoma, contribute to the energy of unresolved and lingering spirits on unfinished business.
Here at Ike Clanton's Haunted Hotel, visitors to the hotel report sightings of a slight man, walking around before disappearing into the hallway as if he was never there. Visitors also report taps on shoulders to see a man passing by and disappearing, and it is assumed to be the spirit of Ike Clanton.

Brandon was AWESOME!! He told great stories, answered all questions in detail and was funny and entertaining!!! Highly recommend the tour for the whole family!
Had a great time and our guide Adriana got my husband to stand in the middle of the street with am EMF meter and talk to ghosts, lol, that was great! Thank you so much!
I didn't know what we were getting ourselves into but this was so awesome! It was a slow night so we pretty much had one on one with Adriana as our guide and she was amazing! First I just want to say that I'm very sensitive to spirits so we had a few around at certain times especially when Adriana said their name and I would feel some of them around us especially Morgan Earp! We were knocking on the window where he died and he knocked back. It was crazy! (I have it on video as proof) I'm so glad I met Adriana, we're definitely going to come back for more soon.
Had an awesome time and learned a lot about the towns history and haunts. Brandon ‘Brimstone’ Jones was a great host, he was entertaining, knowledgeable and answered every question we had along the way. Would definitely recommend!
It was just a fantastic tour. Brandon really brought the story to life. So much great information about the history of Tombstone, presented in a funny and entertaining way. Highly recommended.
Great experience, absolutely recommend!! Take your family
This tour was an easy walk of Tombstone area. Denise was very informative and the tour was fun since we did see some ghost activity. The night sky was clear and all around a fun time.
Fun to learn the history & experiences of Tombstone. We enjoyed filling in the blanks of our personal knowledge of the history here..
It's the best way to hear the history and the ghost takes of the background of how tombstone was built and the story behind the ok corral
Dennise's guided tour was passionate, knowledgeable, fun and full of energy. Tour flowed well with a balanced weaving of history and coinciding haunting lore. Felt well worth the price. Glad we decided on this tour. Great experience overall 👍
It was a great experience. Our guide, Denise, was very knowledgeable about everything and made the whole experience so fun.
it was raining and no one called us or let us know what was going on.
Ethan was incredibly knowledgeable about the history of Tombstone! This tour was very educational and much, much longer than expected. Our disappointment was because we didn't get to go inside any of the buildings. I think the tour would be greatly enhanced if it could also include inside the sites.
We had a tour with Ethan, and ended up being the only group present. Ethan was informative and took his time answering all of our questions and showed us lots of videos and pictures of previous experiences on the same tour! We had good conversation with Mr. Earp
The tour guide was very knowledgeable, and she provided us with numerous tidbits about Tombstone and the Old West.
Lillian had a lot of history and ghost stories. It was fun to see the buildings in Tombstone and learn about what happened in each stop.
Ethan was possibly the best guide for what we were looking for. We ended up being the only ones on the tour, and let him know that on top of the Ghost activity and stories we would be interested in learning more about the history as well. His knowledge in that front was unmatched and he even extended the tour so that he could go in depth at each location and the backgrounds of the people/ghosts involved at each sight! It was a great personal atmosphere that had us attentive all night. We very much appreciate Ethan and the tours for a reasonably priced, memorable, tour!
Clayton was very thorough and has a passion for the tour that came through to all of us.
The Ghost tour of Tombstone was definitely worth it. Clayton our guide took us around Tombstone at night to various buildings and explained the deaths of some of the past residents. Some still linger around the town and various sitings have occurred. Clayton, our guide, was friendly and very knowledgeable. A fun and family friendly experience..
We were the only ones and our guide talked way to much about his life and likes. It was a long drawn out process but we
Our tour guide was a sweetheart. This ghost tour was more of a historical walk around town with narrative about all the murders and kinda spooky stuff in Tombstone. We would have loved to have a spirit box to try to talk to the...well....spirits, and also diving rods, maybe even a complimentary ghost map. With that being said it was fun and informative. There were a couple spots that really grabbed my attention.
Our host Ethan was very knowledgeable and able to go into great depth on all topics and related characters in the tour. He was super responsive with our questions and was in no rush to be sure we were getting the right experience. Only criticism would be the tour did run a little long but that only speaks to his willingness to be complete and thorough
While the guide was very nice, and I hate writing a review like this, I want to relay my personal experience. To keep it short, the guide was not a good storyteller, the stories had no level of engagement, no draw. Every other word was ummm or a cough, the number if stories and history items he tried to rattle off must have been over a hundred. The tour didn't feel like it was moving, each stop lasted 20 plus minutes. After about an hour and a half one member of the other couple simply said that's enough and walked away. We apologized and left, so did the final member of the party. Guides need to tell engaging, fun, scary stories, the list needs to be cut way way down.
Brimstone did an amazing job sharing the history and lore of his hometown. Having a local share the stories really makes the tour more interesting. Great experience!
We had fun walking around town and hearing all the interesting stories on the other supernatural encounters. Would have liked to go into some of the buildings.
I thought we were buying the birdcage theater ghost tour. It was too cold for us. We did part of the tour but dropped out. Clayton is awesome. You should make it clear that this is outside and may be cold. It is confusing because this tour showed up on the birdcage tour. We tried to get into that one after but it was too late.
Lilian was a gem. She knew her stuff about ghosts and history of Tombstone. She has a great presence as a guide and kept the facts and witty puns rolling. Highly recommend. Hope to see her again on another tour. Thank you!! 😊
Fantastic! Brimstone was awesome and very informative!
Ethan was so knowledgeable and truly excited about the ghosts of Tombstone. He had some great inside stories from people who live and work there! Must do tour!
My husband and I attended this ghost tour with our 10 year old daughter. We have done a handful of these in other cities and we're excited to learn more about tombstone. This tour was truly just not well done. Our guide did not show up wearing the shirt or holding a lantern or even announcing herself to the few people standing around clearly waiting for a tour. The story telling skills and public speaking were really just bad. The other 2 groups in our tour paid extra for ghost detecting equipment and she did not supply it for them. She seemed to have brought her boyfriend along for the tour. The whole thing felt very unprofessional. After we left we walked past 2 other tours being held and felt like we missed out. The other tours had guides who were dressed in period clothing and were clearly interested in what they were doing. Spend your money elsewhere.
Very knowledgeable and engaging tour guide. Very conscious of our our comfort and pace. We very much enjoyed this tour.
This ghost tour in Tombstone was absolutely amazing—easily one of the highlights of my trip. I believe our guide’s name was Ethan, and he was hands down my favorite tour guide I’ve ever had. He didn’t just rush through stories—he really took the time to dive deep into the history of Tombstone, explaining the people, events, and of course the ghost stories in a way that kept me completely fascinated the entire time. One of the things I appreciated most was how he explained that not all spirits are something to fear. He shared that many of the ghosts are actually friendly and that they’re not confined to just the nighttime, which gave the whole experience a really unique and thoughtful perspective. If you’re in Tombstone and considering a ghost tour, I highly recommend this one. It was engaging, informative, and genuinely memorable.
We took the tour not knowing what to expect. Our guide was coughing a bit and had a strange little laugh when telling stories which detracted from his stories (less serious). They also handed out weird little devices that allegedly detected ghostly activity, but also erupted when it got close to phoned or security systems. If you don't believe, this will not convince you. If you just go with the flow you will enjoy yourself - you also get to see Tombstone at night
Our tour guide Ethan was amazing. Very knowledgeable about both the ghost stories and the history of Tombstone as a whole. 10/10 would recommend to anyone.
The tour was very fun and interesting. Our guide was vey knowledgeable. During our stops, we got some footage of some unknown activity. The stops could have been a little shorter. The guide was generous with our stop times. Very informative and fun!
Great time. Whether you experience the paranormal or not, fun to walk the town in the quiet of night. Lillian made for a great time during rain and lightning storm.
Clayton was our tour guide! He was absolutely amazing!! Very polite and kind and informative!! Told us so much information on the town! Didn't rush through at all! Highly recommend him! Very pleased!!!
Even though it was a very cold night we very much enjoyed our ghost tour with Ethan our guide. We had a group of about 8 which is perfect. Downtown Tombstone is not very big so it was easily walk-able but even though it is small there is tons of history. We learned so much and even had some paranormal experience. We had our 11 & 15 year old grandsons with us and the tour was very appropriate for them. If you are staying the night in Tombstone, it's a great thing to do.
Ethan was extremely knowledgeable, he was however long winded. Our tour was 2 hours long and didn’t end until the majority of our group quit because it was very windy and cold.
Our tour guide, Denise, was very informative and fun. Although we were the only two on the tour, she still gave us the full story of Tombstone. Highly recommend her.
Had a wonderful experience with Brandon Jones. He’s very knowledgeable and took the time to answer my questions and I had a lot of questions. Learned a lot about tombstone that I didn’t know.
We two were the only ones on the tour that night. Our guide gave us lots of extra stories and the one hour was extended to two hours. She also lent us some ghost detectors to check various "hot spots" for ghostly presence. We got lots of stories besides the OK corral but also the real story of that gunfight.
standing in front of place where Morgan Earp was murdered, felt a slight poke in the back. tour guide was great and entertaining,
I was really baffled by our tour and I a waited a little while to reflect on it before I wrote something nasty and unproductive here. I am going to try to take the high road and be as constructive as possible here… Our tour definitely got off on the wrong foot with this tour guide and we weren’t the only people in this tour that were looking for a little bit more than what was delivered. We got started about 3-4 minutes late after meeting the tour guide in a spot where we were NOT expecting her to be. Here is the message I received in verbatim 3 minutes past the start time: “Hello, this is your tour guide Adeina. I am just wondering if you are still on the tour tonight of if you will be rescheduling due to the storm expected to hit in a few minutes?” I replied “We are standing on the corner in the meeting spot” It turns out our tour guide did not have a lantern as advertised, which is fine, but the condescending teenage attitude she presented and her gaslighting us about it was pretty difficult to swallow after paying $195.96 for my group of 6 adults. For those in doubt, here is the meetup address from my reservation confirmation: “Corner of 6th and E Allen Streets between the Birdcage Theater and Hotel Tombstone. Your guide is wearing a US Ghost Adventures t-shirt and carrying a lantern. Please arrive 15 minutes early.” I interpret this as the middle of the street, between these two buildings. Not some simply lit bench at a table near the gazebo next door to the theater. The tour guide was not wearing the T-shirt visibly which is understandable because it was pretty chilly out at night. However, you would think a group of about 20 people all huddled together would be a good place to start asking folks if they were there for the paid tour. Most in the group did arrive 15 mins early after all and we were standing around at the meeting spot asking “Where is our tour guide?” Everyone on the tour was on their best behavior, probably because she started everyone off on the right foot by forbidding “any hostility” or she would “kick them off the tour” which I thought was really strange, but perhaps she has dealt with really difficult people in the past and she was trying to pre-empt that sort of result from happening again? One of the first stops was the building next door to the Bird Cage Theater, but I was puzzled when she referred to it as a “stupid little store” without much explanation as to why it was stupid. Maybe she had a bad experience here and there was more to the story that would be interesting for the audience to hear about? While she didn’t speak very loudly to begin with, she proceeded to lead the tour group down the street closer towards the noisy Doc Holiday Bar where barely any of the tour guests could hear anything she was saying over the raucous karaoke blasting from that establishment. As we moved past the bar, I was able to hear her talking again and I found the story she shared about the gentleman being arrested for “public in-toxicity” rather fascinating. There were several more stops without incident and we reached the town park where the regular tour ended and extended tour continued on for those who paid ahead of time. She announced that we were such a great small crowd that we could all continue on with the extended tour even if we didn’t pay for the tour extension. Everyone except my group left at that point so I started to feel rather bad for her. We stuck through the extended tour, determined to get our money’s worth and to see if the tour guide had a redemption arc ahead of her. The next few locations were rather interesting and I got the impression that she is a very sweet girl who appears to be a bit in over hear head with the larger crowds. Her tour guide skills are not horrible, but she has a lot of room for improvement. The sort of skills you gain with a bit of practice and adapting what works well from other tour guides to keep folks really engaged. I really do hope she sticks with it and I am sure with time she could someday be really great at this gig. Perhaps her “tour company” can do her a solid and send her fully prepared as well. I say this because there were missing E-meters and plushie ghosts promised to those who paid extra for them. Even though she apologized, I got the impression that those folks were let down because they were celebrating a birthday with this event as a central component of their celebration. Keep at at Adeina, practice makes awesome!
Clayton gave us a great tour even though it was quite chilly that night. Lots of personal observations. I highly recommend Fun
This should be the first thing before touring on your own. The guide was from Tombstone so was able to give insight on things that are relevant to see. The tour guide was informative and kind.
Very fun and guide Brandon was very engaging and passionate about the stories! Definitely recommend to anyone visiting tombstone.
Ethan was awesome! A good tour guide. He knew so much history’s s well as ghost facts and was so attentive to our questions and curiosity. It was New Years Even and a bit rainy, but he made sure to keep us under awnings and was aware of making us comfortable. We throughly enjoyed our trip!! Thank you.
Do not be fooled by the 'Old West' costumes. This tour is a low-value theatrical gimmick run by the same management team (Mike and Laura Jones and owner Steve Goldstein) known for bullying and physically threatening visitors at Big Nose Kate's. They use a staff member (Arizona Bill) as a 'greeter' to funnel unsuspecting tourists into a walk that provides almost no real history. This operation is more about extracting money through intimidation than providing a quality experience. There are much better, safer, and more authentic history tours in town. Avoid this one at all costs.
