At Airport Mesa Vortex. Guests will get to experience its energy as well as take in the spectacular view overlaying many other formations. From this vantage point we will see the layout of the town and what's called The Four Directions of Sedona. You will then be able to visualize how the rest of your tour will proceed. Key geological insights will be pointed out that potentially contribute to the Vortex Energy. Key locations to the Vortex history will also be pointed out here. This Vortex site has an amazing energy to feel and an incredible story behind it. This is a local secret Vortex Site, so I cannot publish its name, hence the location being "Sedona, Sedona, Arizona." This site is my personal favorite of the acclaimed Vortexes. This is also a local secret Vortex Site, so once again, the name is not published. This site has a spectacular indigenous ceremonial medicine wheel and labyrinth both built by local acclaimed medicine persons. I will do a calling of directions ceremony and afterwards guests can walk the labyrinth. We will then sit at a picnic table there and I will explain the "Grand Finally" of what is believed to make Sedona unique of the acclaimed energetic areas of the Southwest and why it was therefore given its unique indigenous name. Note: Guests are free to eat and drink in the vehicle and at some of the sites SO PLEASE PACK YOUR FAVORITE FOOD/LUNCH AND DRINKS WITH YOU :) You will probably need them to keep your energy up throughout tour. It's an adventure! :))
We had a fantastic tour we had with Chad. His natural curiosity, passion for life, learning, people, Sedona, and for sharing his wisdom and experience with his guests is inspiring and made the tour such a joy. We toured some very interesting locales with many a curious backstory and only wish we had done the tour early to set the scene for the rest of our Sedona Visit. Highly recommended.

Chad has a vast amount of knowledge! He is incredibly friendly and validating. He took us to lots of vortex sights including lesser known ones and had all the answers to our questions. He’s a local legend with secret knowledge that other tours don’t have! His pet chicken Bubba Dee only enhanced the experience! Geology is a specialty but knew much about the spiritual and energy world. He went above and beyond! Muchly recommend our friend Chad.
Chad knows Sedona. He takes you to secret spots that you could never find on your own. He shares his extensive knowledge in a story that unravels in a most delightful way. This was disappointing and not worth $400 I paid. The ticket said 9:00, Chad texted he would be at Sky Lodge at 10:00 am and he did not show up until almost 11:00 am. My granddaughter became very hungry and was very upset. The places he took us were good local areas in Sedona however, he was pulled over by the police for broken tail light which was very unnerving with the questions that the police asked.
Chad is brilliant, interesting and passionate. Passion is catchy and Chad certainly kept our interest for over 4 hours.

Pros: Chad is exceptional in his knowledge of Sedona and its history including the Vortexes. He was easy to work with and extremely accommodating as our travel plans changed. He was very pleasant and interesting. Cons: He needs to invest in a new Van since the one we rode in was quite old, dirty and one door did not work. Working on his business aesthetics would help a lot. We had a great time though!
Our guides knowledge was very deep and extensive. He was able to customize our tour to take us exactly where we wanted to go. Would highly recommend!
Although the tour guide was nice, he was not very knowledgeable of where to find the petroglyphs or their story. Didn’t get to see some of the petroglyphs on website. Very disappointing for the cost.

We booked Chad for 3 days of tours and he did not disappoint!! He was an excellent guide, kind person, and so knowledgeable about history, science and spirituality. He was extremely easy to work with customizing our tour days according to our wants and needs. We did a day at the Grand Canyon, the vortex tour of Sedona and a trip up to Lower Antelope Canon. Chad is not only an extremely knowledgeable tour guide, but he is a terrific guy who is very easy to relate to. Very down to earth, and very much in love with the earth. If you’re looking for something fancy, go elsewhere. If you’re looking for a clever, touristy comedy routine, go elsewhere. If you want to learn about the geology of the area and the story behind the vortexes, Chad is your guy!

Amazing Day! Chad spent the day exploring all the various aspects of the Sedona Vortex experience. He gave us fact, theory, history, geology, Native American lore, the Sedona backstory (before it became what it is today). He educated us with the four directions and the 11 factors surrounding the energetic properties of the areas. AND of course he took us to 5 Vortex sights, for us to be amazed by the beauty and to experience the pinnacle energetic activity first hand. We are well travelled and always take private tours, and Chad offered the best one ever (we are late 60 yr olds). After our experience with Chad, everything else has been blase’. Nice but no real punch like we had with Chad. He is a great guy, full of information, a day spent with him will turn you on to some really interesting facts and theory for you to take along and decide for yourself…

We were going to Sedona for a few days and wanted to go on a tour that went beyond the typical tourist experience. Our online search brought us to Chad. His unique ability to bring together his extensive scientific and geological facts and theories about Vortexes, exceptional knowledge of the area and its history combined what the spiritual gave us just what we were looking for. My favorite part of the experience was learning about vortexes and the local geology from Chad. He takes his subject very seriously, networking with local experts and reading. He even carried his books in the car so that he could show you where he found specific information. I did a private tour, he made me feel very comfortable, he answered my questions well and we did a couple of fun lunch activities! I highly recommend Chad as a knowledgeable and friendly guide!
I cannot say enough about this tour! It was worth EVERY PENNY and then some! Chad was engaging, informative, knowledgeable and had amazing energy. He helped us explore the deeper meaning behind each site and gave us relevant history to make it more special. I had so many “holy sh*t” moments on this tour. We were able to meditate at each site and take our time so connecting with the energy was super easy. What an EXPERIENCE . . in more ways than one. Chad is truly a dynamic person who has a lot of knowledge, experiences and humor to share. While the initial trip was tentatively scheduled to be only about 5 hours, my girlfriend and I spent close to 7 hours with him and Bubba D. He does not stick to a specific timetable and will go for as long or as little as the group choses . . . pure and total customer service focused. He knows the area and even altered his normal routine as an accident would have led to sitting in traffic for a majority of the tour. He can quickly discuss several topics at each stop and NEVER forgets to end one of his thoughts or stories. He provided insight of Sedona that most people, including myself, would never know and I am glad to have experienced the time with him. He provided recommendations for other sites to see that may be off the mainstream high traffic areas so one can enjoy themselves without the large crowds, making it a more stress free week overall (a true getaway). If you ever have the opportunity to take this tour I would highly suggest you do so . . . you will be educated and humored at the same time on more than one level.
We [2 of us] spent a great day with Chad while visiting Sedona. We had him all to ourselves. He picked us up in his Suburban at our resort and we spent the day together exploring many vortex highlights of the area, some well known, some more secret. We learned a lot from Chad's various life experiences and his scientific knowledge of the sky, the earth formations of the area and local folklore. Maybe you'll get to meet his unusual pet. He has some good UFO Vortex stories too. For lunch, he gave us a choice and we agreed on one of his suggestions of a "farm to table" restaurant. Lots of healthy options to choose from, vegan & non vegan. I have done MANY tours in Sedona and this was in the top 3. Thanks Chad!
Chad was very engaging to get our entire group engaged in the tour. We traveled with 2 adults and 2 children aged 12 &13. He took us to sites we would never have visited without the tour in addition to the main sites. He has a vast knowledge in many areas which he shared letting the participants learn and come to their own opinions. He was very flexible with planning the tour to make sure we were able to see everything without feeling rushed. I would highly recommend this tour.
Chad went above and beyond with our vortex tour. He spent the entire day with us taking us to hidden Sedona gems, sharing his extensive knowledge about the area and rock formations, and even letting us experience a medicine wheel ceremony! Chad is truly top notch.

My tour with Chad was the hi-light of my trip to Sedona! During the tour, I was able to go to some of the vortexes that I wanted to see, a lookout point to see the shamans cave from afar (it’s a long trek to get there!), and a medicine wheel and labyrinth. He was a fountain of knowledge and I absorbed so much fascinating and wonderful knowledge about the area (geology, spirituality, history, facts). My favorite things that I learned from the trip was about the geology, what brings energy to the area, and Native American history. it helped me feel more connected to Sedona and appreciative of it. My husband and I, and another couple, were very fortunate to spend time with Chad this past April. We had never visited the area and went to enjoy the beauty of the area. We did do that - taking in the amazing colors of Sedona, especially at sunset. What we didn’t expect was how Sedona would make us feel.
