Be weather prepared. Tour guide was very good explaining the entire tour and history of the area. Also wear good walking shoes.
This is the best way to see the Grand Canyon. The tour van was very comfortable and had huge windows to see the beautiful scenery. Our tour guide, Charlie, made sure we had the perfect pull offs to see the Grand Canyon. He was very knowledgeable about the history, geography, geology, and culture of each area. He made sure everyone was comfortable and gave us plenty of time for restroom breaks, and coffee and snacks stops. It was great not having to worry about where to park and where to find good place to eat.
It was a full day adventure starting and ending at Sedona. Pick up and drop off was a breeze! Sheldon, our tour guide was outstanding…very knowledgeable, funny, eager to please, knew all the less traveled places at the Canyon. As extra bonuses, we visited an ancient Native ruin site and had a terrific lunch at a Navaho trading post. It was an amazing day on my birthday…even with some rain!!!
What a wonderful day! Our guide, Charlie Torello, was a gem. Comfortable vehicle, very interesting information on a variety of topics. His choices of stops and viewing tips were well curated. And of course, the Grand Canyon is mind boggling.
It was a rainy day off and on. We started the excursion and it went really well. Rasa is an extremely knowledgeable and wonderful guide. He was able to navigate us to almost all the sights without getting wet. He can’t control the weather but he made the trip amazing.
Best time! Our drive was Brian which really knows his stuff! Highly recommended when visiting Sedona. We where going to visit the Grand Canyon on our own at first, however THIS is the way to see it!
We loved this tour. Our tour guide, Andrea, was fantastic! She was knowledgeable, friendly and accommodating. She lives what she does and made sure we enjoy our tour. This tour of the Grand Canyon was perfect for us as we are in our 70s and did not want to do extreme hiking. We highly recommend this small group tour. The van was very comfortable.
The itinerary of this tour was perfect. Rasa our guide was great , his knowledge of Arizona and the history or the Grand Canyon is amazing , he kept us entertained all day .
Phenomenal experience! Jason is an outstanding guide who is extremely knowledgeable about the history, geography, geology, and culture of the area. He checked in with the group often to share next steps and make sure we were having the very best experience. 10/10 recommend!
Tour started on time, and was enjoyable. The vist to the anciet ruins of a pueblo was an added bonus as was lunch at the Cameron Trading Post. The tour is just as described, a small group very personalized to accomodate everyones needs. The Grand Canyon needs no introduction, as it is truly a display of one of Mother Nature's best work. What made this tour truly umique was our tour guide, Sheldon. He explained in advance what to expect at every stop. Took the time to give us a spot by spot description of what we were seeing. He provided us with maps and brochures and just made everything go seamless. By the time we stopped for lunch, we had a reserved table and they were ready to take our ordres (The trading post is extremely busy), and made allowances for shopping and persusing the store (which is huge). Sheldon made sure we all knew each other and felt comfortable with each other, balancing the different neds (some of us are old, some young). Sheldon took us to special corners from where to appreciate the Canyon, out of the crowds way. He gave us cookies on the drive back...this was an almost twelve hour trip, on a van, a comfortble van, but a van. All in all a very experienced and considerate human being. He certainly raised the bar of what a tour guide should be. We feel lucky to have Sheldon as our guide.
BEST tour guide that had the best mix of knowledge about the area and the right places to stop. LIved his play list on the way back.
My husband & I were on our honeymoon and had never been to the Grand Canyon. Our guide Kurt was so knowledgable throughout the whole journey. Having lunch at Cameron Trading Post was very nice. We tried the Navajo Taco (split one if you can as they are huge). When we got to the south rim, he had us close our eyes. When we opened them, we just couldn't believe the enormity! It was such a cool way to experience your first view!! Thank you Kurt!!!
Unfortunately the day of the tour it rained almost 100% of the time on he tour. All you could see was clouds and occasional glimpse of the Canyon. I have been on many cruise excursions and others and Viator was the source I saw for the latter. I have had several of these cancelled due to bad weather which makes the tour worthless. Charlie the guide asked each of us if Viator gave us an option to cancel and refund our tour. You did not and as a result spent over $200 to look at clouds and to drive over 4 hours in the rain. However, I appreciated Charlies' asking obviously using his experience to wonder why it wasn't cancelled. Charlie "was the saving grace" for the tour. His knowledge of all the areas and specifically of the Grand Canyon and all the best views. As a result the drive was not boring and on the way back he played music which was relaxing after a crappy day. Charlie saved the day a we after 4 or 5 stops we did a limited view the the Canyon bottom. So we all appreciated you providing Charlie but NOT going forward with a tour that we could not "see" especially when the day before and that day Weather Channel forecasted 90% rain all day. So you have a very unsatisfied longtime customer who unless there is some consideration will be looking elsewhere for his traveling needs.
We had a wonderful tour guide, Dominick. He was informative and pleasant. The problem with our tour was that a group of six people with us had no regard for anyone else’s time. They were not ready at pickup time and we waited 30 minutes for them. They were picked up at their Airbnb so we sat in the road, idling the van, waiting for them. At every stop, they made no effort to stay within the time limit of the stop. We were supposed to be back to Sedona by around 5:30pm and we got home about 8pm. I understand that my frustration is with a group of travelers, not the tour itself. However, our guide made little effort to insist that this group of people stick to the guidelines of each stop. Consequently the other four people on the tour were constantly having to wait for really long periods of time. It was definitely a case of catering to one group and ignoring the rest. Although it was very nice to have a driver and an informative person to lead our tour, we will never do another tour where we have no say in the timing. When we signed up, we read that we were to be at our designated pickup spot (a place we walked to at 6:45am) at a certain time and that the van would only wait 10 minutes past pickup time for us. We wish that guideline had needed to be adhered to by everyone. There was a lot of frustration all day amongst the other four tourists.
We had a great day, regardless of the rain. We enjoyed learning so much about the Navajo and so much informative information. Charlie wanted us to have a great experience and we did.
Great trip, checked out pueblo ruins, Grand Caynon ( 6-7 stops), and dormant volcanos. Lunch at Canyon was excellant! Brad was a superb guide, very knowlegable about history of the land and peoples of Arizona. Small groups, ours was 7, are the best.

this was an exceptional tour. Kurt is an extremely knowledgeable guide which made the tour very enjoyable.
We had the best time on this day trip. Brian was very knowledgeable about all the spots we visited. We are staying in Clarkdale so it was nice we didn’t have to drive ourselves. Brain was a very safe driver. The views the entire trip were gorgeous. We will definitely visit again!
Great day! Our guide, Rasa, was amazing, knew the area, the history, geology, and best spots at the grand canyon, and so much more!
I will never forget my first visit to the Grand Canyon! Jason is a knowledgeable and experienced guide who is also very kind. I appreciated the geological , historical and climate information he shared about the region. He led us down a lesser known path for our first look at the canyon - incredible! Jason gladly offered to take photos of his guests along the way and he’s an excellent photographer! We traveled back to Sedona in heavy rain, and I was impressed by his careful and focused driving. Lunch at the Cameron Trading Post was delicious. The fry bread was a treat! The vehicle was clean, comfortable and well maintained. Thank you!
Excellent tour Rasa is espectacular explaining everything and making the tour entertaining He is extremely knowledgeable
Rasa, our guide, was fantastic! He was so knowledgeable about so many topics! It made the time in the van go by quickly! He did a great job knowing the best spots for pics and he’s great at spotting wild life!
This experience was wonderful. Our guide Rasa, was so knowledgeable. He made it so easy to see what was happening in those canyons. He made several stops and gave us ample time to view everything.
We really enjoyed the tour overall, and one of the biggest highlights was our tour guide, Kurt. He was extremely informative, pleasant, patient, and accommodating throughout the entire day. He made everyone feel welcome and gave us plenty of time to enjoy each location without feeling rushed. His knowledge and the information he shared really added to the experience, and he truly made the tour memorable. There are just a couple of things that could have made the experience even better. Since this is an all-day tour, the van could have been a little larger or more comfortable. The seats became a bit uncomfortable after spending so many hours on the road. Also, while we appreciated the cold water that was provided ,offering a small snack would have been a nice touch for such a long day. Overall, it was a great experience, and Kurt was definitely a key reason why. His professionalism, patience, and friendly personality made the day enjoyable, and we really appreciated everything he did to make sure everyone had a wonderful time
Everything thing about this experience was Great
Excellent tour.bus was clean and comfortable. Jeff is an excellent driver and guide. His knowledge and love for the area are very apparent. He was very attentive to us all and assured our comfort.. Great lunch, too!
The tour made for a long day but our tour guide Al was excellent and made the trip well worth it.
Our driver, JR Ralston, made the tour a wonderful experience. He is so knowledgeable and well informed on the Grand Canyon and the Sedona area. It was an 11 hour day and we were concerned that we would get tired or board. However, the time flew by with all the places JR took us and all the interesting facts and stories he shared.
Amazing tour of Grand Canyon, with expert Jeff. He knew the best spots for viewing, rest stops, lunch and shopping. We even saw a rainbow at the canyon.
So glad we booked this tour! Dominic was an amazing guide with tons of knowledge about the area and history of the land! He had a well thought out plan to optimize our day and see as much as possible. The only negative was the van was a smidge uncomfortable with a full group. Could have used a bit more space but our group members were very nice and we made the best of it! I would not have had a good time if I had to plan the visit myself. Definitely worth the money to let them handle the day!
Amazing trip to Grand Canyon! Lots of scenic views and ruins to see!!!
Had a great time with Kurt. He was very friendly and knowledgeable about the area. It is obvious he loves this area. Highly recommend.
The small group that we had made everything more intimate. Our driver/guide had so many cool facts and information that it made everything great.
Our guide,Sheldon was excellent. Started out with a rainy day but turned it into a wonderful, informative day!
Great experience, small group tour fun for any age. Our tour guide picked us up at our VRBO in Flagstaff. Van was comfortable and our guide Sheldon was a professional driver and very knowledgeable tour guide. He made our tour fun, timely, and knew the best places for viewing and taking pictures. I highly recommend this tour for the Grand Canyon. Sheldon even ordered up a rainbow for our viewing to top off the end of our tour. Susan, Kent, Rainey from Texas.
Our tour guide Rasa was very informative. We learned a lot throughout the tour (including why there are so many roundabouts). Highly recommend. The views are great! And thanks for taking our pictures.
We totally recommend taking this tour! Our guide, JR was so interesting & had a great amount of details & knowledge about everything we saw. Having a small group was perfect! Besides our 3 there were only 5 more people in our group. The van was roomy & comfortable for everyone. But the best part was a special “secret” location at the Grand Canyon to start our adventure. It was just our group there & so moving & peaceful. He gave the group some options as to what we wanted to see & do which was great to have that choice. We had lunch on the Navajo reservation at a restaurant. It is a full day, so be prepared to be gone all day. They do have water on the van. Be aware that right now because of the floods in the Grand Canyon there are no working bathrooms, but there are plenty of porta potties everywhere.
Andrea, our guide was very knowledgeable about any and everything about Arizona and Grand Canyon. We thoroughly enjoyed our experience.
Dominick was our guide and he was fabulous. He knew so much about all the sites and has a great sense of humor. He definitely made the trip awesome! Would highly recommend this excursion and Dominick!
Included stops at the Grand Canyon many don't see. Brian was very knowledgeable about the geography and geology of the area.
Ezra was a great guide. More stood than I thought we’d make, which was nice. Totally recommend this trip to the Grand Canyon. Just be prepared that it is a long day.
We really enjoyed our trip with Jason. Our guide was very knowledgeable shared so much information. Took us a great areas to take pictures. Picked us up at our hotel and dropped us back off. It was a long day, but it was definitely worth it.
Dominick was very personal and full of information. We saw more than we could have imagined ! Thank you for a great day!
10/10 recommend!! Jeff knew so much about the canyon and the local tribes. I got even more out of it than I thought I would!
What an amazing experience. From the moment we boarded the bus we knew we were in for an amazing time. Our guide, Jeff, answered all our questions, shared personal experiences and provided so much great insight at every turn. I would highly recommend to anyone visiting Sedona.
Our guide Al Bubala was knowledgeable and great
To much discussion about the guide's personal stories than facts about the tour itself.
What an AMAZING experience! We booked this Grand Canyon tour through Viator, and it was hands down worth every single penny. Our guide, Rasa, picked us up right at our hotel at 7:25 a.m. and dropped us back off around 5:45 p.m., and the entire day was fantastic. Rasa was incredibly knowledgeable about EVERYTHING! He kept us entertained the entire drive with stories, interesting facts, history, and so much information. He truly made the trip exceptional. We made several stops before even reaching the Grand Canyon, and every single one was worthwhile with more beautiful sights, great photo opportunities, and interesting information along the way. Lunch at the trading post was very good, and we had fun walking around afterward looking at all the souvenirs and finding plenty of things to spend our money on! 😊 If you want to experience the Grand Canyon without dealing with the driving and the hassle of navigating everything yourself, I cannot recommend this tour enough. Beautiful scenery, an incredible guide, lots of laughs, and an unforgettable day. So much fun and absolutely worth it!
