Connor, our travel guide was incredibly knowledgeable about the history of the Grand Canyon- from rock formations over millions of years to local anecdotes about human endeavors travailing the canyon. Conner was great! We did the private tour from Sedona to the Grand Canyon and It could have not been more perfect! He picked us up From our hotel, the Amara , and dropped us back off which made it extremely easy! We had a very scenic drive from Sedona to the Grand Canyon which helps to truly appreciate the different terrains Arizona has to offer! He was very knowledgeable about the area and all the amazing geology of the grand canyon! I was so glad we did the private tour and would highly recommend it to anyone considering.

We had an absolutely wonderful Grand Canyon tour with Connor as our guide. Connor was great. He knew the ins and outs of the park, avoiding many of the crowds but still allowing us to see the canyon from various perspectives. He was, by far, the most knowledgeable guide we ever had on any excursion. From the geological to the cultural to the historical to even the spiritual, he was extremely well informed. Even our 10-year-old, who craves information about national parks, had every question answered and then some.

Conner was the best tour guide ever. So much interesting information and facts about the entire area. The 2 hour drive to and from the Grand Canyon went by so quickly. My mother and I had a fantastic day touring the Grand Canyon with Connor in early May. He picked us up and dropped us off promptly at our Sedona hotel. He was professional, knowledgeable and an easy conversationalist. We learned and explored more than we would have been able to do on our own. It was nice to sit back, relax and take in the views, history and geology without any added pressure or stress. He exhibited clear passion in the subject matter and shared a lot of interesting facts with us, but was never overbearing. A truly great guide and well worth the money (since this is a private tour, you can really maximize your time and tailor the day to your interests). Book early as his schedule fills up - you won't be disappointed!

This is THE tour to take to the Grand Canyon from the greater Sedona area! We had a party of 10 ranging in age from 19 to “older”. Our guide, Connor, new all of our names immediately and kept the whole group engaged and interested. The trip was filled with the rich history of not only the Grand Canyon but the beautiful landscape we drove through from Sedona. If you want a personalized tour with an incredibly knowledgeable guide this is the tour for you. The history geology , culture and spirituality over the jaw dropping years of the area was all covered and fascinating. Then the show stopper the Canyon itself. Connor took the time to show us the best stops along the rim and enlightened us to all the glory and wonder that is the Grand Canyon. Bucket list must do tour!!!

Wonderful tour experience with the perfect guide! I had made two quick, self-guided trips to the Grand Canyon in the past, but my wife had never made the visit. We were staying in Sedona and I thought rather than making the 4 hour round trip drive ourselves, why not hire a guide and learn more about the area and its history. What an amazing tour! My husband and I spent the day touring the Grand Canyon, the Native American ruins and the Sunset Crater with Connor. Connor is a friendly personable young man who possesses a wealth of knowledge not only about the Grand Canyon but Arizona in general. We loved the story about the locust! We truly enjoyed our day with him. He was attentive to our needs, is a safe and courteous driver and his vehicle was well presented; clean and tidy. The tour was canceled by the vendor. They called me at 4:15pm on Monday to let me know the tour on next morning would be canceled because they didn’t get enough people. Please refund my money.

Connor picked us up at the hotel and was very knowledgeable! The tour was great. Very convenient to not get lines on the entrance of Grand Canyon and relaxing. His car is very clean, he had water for our family and took pictures of us with the breathtaking views of this World Wonder!

The tour was just right for my wife and me. Connor was flexible when we needed to change the day, and was able to come pick us up. Connor has passion and knowledge regarding the area of Sedona, the Grand Canyon region and the history of native Indian tribes in the area. We received an education while absorbing the beautiful scenery all day long. There was a question Connor was not able to answer. We had a lot of questions as we have never been in the area preciously. The tour was one thing we will never forget. In part, just simply because the Grand Canyon is an awesome experience, but also in great part due to the knowledge we gained from Connor during our trip. I would recommend this tour for any small group or family.

The tour was great, we got to see the grandeur of the Grand Canyon from several locations. The tour was not rushed or boring. Connor was very knowledgeable not only about the canyon, its history and the geology but he was also very informed about the area and made the trek a lot more interesting. Overall he was very patient and gave us a lot of information which made the tour that much more enjoyable.

What an unbelievable and amazing experience!!! This was a family outing but would be great for any group. Chad was fantastic with all ages; entertaining and so very knowledgeable. The best day the family had during the whole vacation!

We booked the Vortex tour, the night sky tour and the grand canyon tour with Dynamic Journey Tours. Both Connor & Chad (owners and tour operators) were absolutely lovely to work with during the booking process. I asked many questions and they promptly provided thorough answers. Upon meeting them for our first tour we knew we had made the right choice booking with DJT. They were timely, warm and welcoming in addition to being incredibly knowledgeable and passionate. We took three tours with DJT and throughout, both Connor and Chad were accommodating and seemed to constantly anticipate our needs and preferences. Let me start by saying that our tour to the Grand Canyon was one of three tours we took with Dynamic Journey Tours. When I began my research of tours for my group of four, I had not intended to book a tour to the Grand Canyon. However, once I stumbled on Dynamic Journey Tours website, I was convinced that it would be a great day with no stress for my husband and other couple we were traveling with. My instincts were correct! We contacted tour operators Chad and Conner and easily communicated with them to get our tour set up. We chose a full day tour that took us to the painted desert, volcanic ash park, Hopi ruins and finally the Grand Canyon. Chad, our guide for the day, picked us up promptly for our 13 hour adventure. The day flew by with beautiful scenery and Chad’s great stories, taking us back in time to learn about the Hopi people and the geology of the area. On our drive, we discussed our expectations of the day, made lunch plans to enjoy lunch at the historic lodge at the Grand Canyon and be at the Grand Canyon for a perfect sunset. Our day was everything we had hoped for and more. Chad has now become a friend for life and we look forward to visiting with and touring with him in the future. We were very happy that we booked this tour and planned two others. Chad knows the area well and shared stories with us that we would not have learned anywhere else. Chad and Conner also helped us plan another tour, a Jeep adventure by giving us a recommendation of another local company in the area. (Both Chad and Conner have years of jeep tour experience as well). The goal of Dynamic Journey Tours is to share their passion about Sedona and make sure that you know and love Sedona by the time you leave. With that in mind, they can create a tour based on your interests and recommend other tours if theirs are not their expertise, such as a local UFO tour, (that we did not take but overlapped with one of our tours and saw another great tour operator working.). In summary, you will not be disappointed!

Connor is such an excellent and interesting guide. He knows Sedona and the Grand Canyon so well, as he has hiked quite a bit of it. When we got to the Grand Canyon, he took us to four different viewpoints to help us begin to comprehend the majesty and vastness of this magnificent natural wonder. We hiked a bit below the rim and he gave us an overview of the geology of the rock formations. Before returning to Sedona, we finished the day with a visit to the Cameron Trading Post. Connor gave us lots of opportunities for photos and took quite of few of us. We had adequate stops for food, water and rest rooms. We can't say enough good things about our day trip to the Canyon and we can't imagine a better guide for this journey.

Chad was well educated of the area, science and culture of the locals. He entertained us, made sure we were comfortable, offered stops and gave us excellent suggestions on restaurants. An all around great tour guide!!!
