This self driving audio tour was great. It led us to beautiful view points and sites we wouldn’t have known about if we just explored on our own. The narration was good and provided interesting history of the area.

Itinerary
Your tour of quirky, drop-dead gorgeous Sedona begins at the town's Visitor Center/Chamber of Commerce. From here, you'll drive south, passing the biggest attractions along the way, from red rock hikes to plentiful shops and galleries. You'll also learn a ton about Sedona's long, unusual history as you drive. NOTE: The tour is over 6 miles long, with more than 14 audio stories, and takes about 2-3 hours to complete. New, Lifetime access, no expiry. Use it anytime, on any trip, as many times as you want.
The Tlaquepaque Arts Shopping Village is one of Sedona's top attractions for good reason. This vibrant plaza is packed with local artists and artisans selling all manner of unique finds. The Village is also home to some top tier restaurants and cafes to fuel up for your journey.
Cathedral Rock Trail is among the most popular hikes in Sedona, and it's easy to see why. Cathedral Rock dominates the horizon and is without a doubt the most iconic formation in Sedona. This steep, 1.2-mile trail leads directly to that formation. Adventurous visitors can even climb up the behemoth for unbeatable views.
This 3-mile trail shares its name with a famous movie filmed in Sedona. After you visit, you'll hear all about the founding of the town and how it went from an unknown, remote outpost to "Little Hollywood," a hotspot for silver screen westerns.
Sedona changed forever in 1923, when filmmaker Zane Grey arrived with a film crew and a dream. Here, Zane shot the silent film Call of the Canyon, a western about a soldier returning from war. He wanted creative freedom he couldn’t get in LA, and was captivated by Sedona’s landscape.
A must-see attraction. This jaw-dropping chapel looms dramatically over the rocky landscape and offers incredible, panoramic views from within. It was designed to generate the same sense of awe as the Empire State Building, and it absolutely delivers!
At 4 miles out and back, Marg's Draw Trail is a fantastic mid-level introduction to Sedona's red rock landscape. In the spring, this trail is also surrounded by blooming cactus flowers!
This spot offers incredible views of Courthouse Butte, one of Sedona's largest and coolest rock formations. For a closer look, you'll also find a 4-mile trail here that loops all the way around the butte. This spot also provides access to the Bell Rock Vortex, one of Sedona's high-energy sites beloved by more spiritual visitors.
Known to locals as “The Village,” this unincorporated community is another great spot to find shops, restaurants, and more. It even boasts three huge golf courses for those who like to hit the links! Your main tour concludes here, but there's plenty more to do if you choose to embark on the West Sedona bonus tour as well.
Lover's Knoll definitely earns its name. Countless lucky couples tie the knot right here, with sweeping views of Sedona's red rock landscape beyond.
Here, you'll find gorgeous hiking trails, picnic areas, and more than a few scenic vistas.
Crescent Moon Picnic Site offers spectacular views of Cathedral Rock and this is one of the most photographed views in Sedona! Depending on the season, it's also a great place for a swim.

It worked great for us. No need to hit pause or stop the app when you pull off to look at stuff. It picks right up where you were and keeps going.
When we used the app in Zion it was great! We tried it in Sedona, it did not follow our location , and did a bunch of repeats.
Not as intuitive as I’d hoped. We tried one of these self-driving tours in Kauai and were somewhat satisfied so we tried this one. Narration was good but it was harder to navigate.
We selected the audio tour for a trip through Red Rocks state park in AZ. The park was basically about walking and hiking trails. Thus the audio was useless.
Informative, easy to follow and setup. We were able to get app and tour figured out in a few minutes and it also included Red Rock State Park.
The narration was informative. the scenery was beautiful, the traffic was terrible. Plan on taking 20-30 minutes to cross town or to get to various parking lots. We did all 3 tours on a Tuesday in late March,
Easy to Connect to. places and stories were nice. History about Senora was interesting. Not locked into time schedule was good
This simply didn’t work out for us. Sedona crowds required flexibility and necessitated route changes. We just couldn’t use it. Also, the tour app and having to pre-download tour narratives takes lots of phone space.
There is not enough information on the landmarks. There is some information on a few hiking trails but not anything on the mountains.
Don't book during government shutdown. It's hard to write a review looking through chain link fence.
Relatively easy to follow audio self-guided auto tour. We had a little difficulty with the system repeating info, but we suspect it was “operator error.”
The history given was very insightful and interesting. Helpful because I injured my knee and not able to hike much.
It was nice to have a private tour at our own pace. Enjoyed the history and information given throughout the tour. Appreciate the various routes and alternative routes including trails.
The narration was great! Easy to understand and engaging. The tour provided different types of attraction s. It allowed me to take pictures, and learn about the history of the area. It was perfect for a solo tour!
We enjoyed hearing a bit more about each location. It was easy to follow but we did have trouble with the audio when we started and had to call for help but once we got that going it was very helpful.
Looking for the ‘starting point,’ took an hour! It is an abandoned building! The directions were not clear; I had to call to find out what to do. AND the website gave an error message stating it was their fault.! When we finally learned how to use the app we found the information interesting and worth the time.
Directions were great. Loved that we could proceed on our own time. Very informative. We did the Sedona south route as a family.
Awesome experience highly recommend to anyone. Very easy to use. Highly informative. Thank you so much
Unfathomable. No customer service. Did not even attempt to take the tour. Could not decipher the instructions to begin tour.
Kinda difficult to get to a starting point. It could explain that better. Just started driving towards the great stuff and the narrator kicked in. Got an even better tour on the way back as we were in sync with the directions. I had a credit from the train ride I booked which was nice.
It was a very short tour . We could have done better ourselves with a tour book. It was cumbersome to use. Had to download another app to open the self guided tour. So not worth our time or money.
The audio tour would not stay on the area where we were driving. It kept going ahead when we would stop
Easy to download and review Informative and easy to follow. Sedona is quite a small place but this guide took us to a couple of places that we may have otherwise missed
Beware!! You need to know that this starts in Sedona. My husband and booked this to drive from Mesa Az to Sedona. When we GPS the directions to this it took us to a dead end road next to the Chamber of Commerce travel center. I called the guide number they told me I needed to download an app. The signal is horrible there. After doing so we still couldn’t figure out where to go next so we went to the Chamber. They never heard of this. Felt scammed. Payed 29.98 for the two of us. Finally called taking time from our trip to find out we had already driven in and seen everything this had to offer. I explained they offered a full refund that I haven’t gotten back. They gave us 10.00 refund. I have spent 4 weeks trying to communicate and get the full refund and they refuse. It’s not the money as much as being told a refund would be given at the time and it ends up to be 10.00. The advertising looked like a park we would drive through in Sedona. . Very deceiving. Just make sure you know what you’re booking. It was not a good experience for us as it took a lot of time out of our vacation to try and get what we never used. More time trying to get a full refund that we never got.
It's a good idea but we couldn't get the app to work consistently. The audio portion stopped at our first stop. We could get it to work in our hotel room but couldn't get it to function in the car. This meant I was reading the material rather than looking at what we were passing. We did see things we might have otherwise missed, but it was not the experience promised.
Beautiful spots. We took a lot of pictures! The directions were well done & we enjoyed the commentary.
Loved this tour would highly recommend it for anyone looking to tour Sedona at their own pace. Highly recommended
This app was easy to download and use offline hooked up to the GPS in our car. There were two tours included: Red Rock State Park and Sedona to Oak Creek. Worked well!
Good information Wish all tours downloaded at one click as I wanted to do it all in 1 day. Also could point out rock formations better.
there was not alot of unfo given in the app. The map often tines did not come up. was disappointed with the app.
We enjoyed taking our time on the self guided audio tour. It does require a little patience getting used to using the app, but it took us right to trail head entrances. When we've looked for trail entrances on our own in other parks sometimes it took awhile to find them. I think our favorite was the Bell Rock Vortex.
The gorgeous mountain ⛰️ views. There was plenty of places to shop if that's your cup of tea. The few spots that were offered I had a wonderful time taking pictures 📸
We use these types of self guided tours all over the world. This is the first that didn’t even begin well. The starting point was a dirt lot and not the Chamber of Commerce, it did get us to the first stop and totally stopped working. There was never any audio to tell the interesting facts about our adventure. When we called the help number we heard from a non English speaking person who had no idea how to help. Don’t waste your time or money on any of these audio tours.
Clearer directions on how to enter the park. All we saw was a mishmash of small business. Finally gave up and took our own route.
It was well worth it. It was nice to hear a story along with the beauty. Very easy to use-helpful to do this prior to arriving.
It was lacking in substance. It points out trail heads was helpful. Stories were trivial except the history of thr name of Sedona. Not recommended.
Self guided tour of Sedona, Arizona was peaceful and informative. It was nice to go at our own pace.
