Kenny was a good host, sharing stories and interesting facts. The drive is beautiful, but challenging to take pictures while moving. We did stop once for pictures.

Although it was an overall good experience our tour guide Scott was aggressive and pushy and wouldn’t take no for an answer.

Perfect for seniors and kids to learn about the history of the mountains , the knowledge the driver told us was excellent, very personal with the guests, pricing was great.

An Amazing Family Experience – Ask for Matthew! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Our multi-generational family took the Boynton Canyon Trolley Tour on Sunday, October 18, 2026, at 9:00 a.m., and we thoroughly enjoyed every minute of it! Our tour guide, Matthew, was absolutely fantastic! He was knowledgeable, personable, patient, and genuinely focused on providing an outstanding customer experience. We had plenty of questions, and he had all the answers! He also kept us entertained with some very funny jokes along the way. He was incredibly patient as we stopped to take lots of family pictures, making sure everyone had the opportunity to capture those special memories. The scenery was breathtaking, and the entire experience was one of the major highlights of our family trip to Sedona to attend a family wedding. We all agreed that this was an excellent tour for a multi-generational family, with something for everyone to enjoy. If you’re planning a Boynton Canyon Trolley Tour, ask for Matthew! He is an outstanding guide and truly one of the best ambassadors for Sedona, Arizona. His knowledge, personality, humour, and dedication to his guests made our experience extra special. The trolly sat less people than the other company, which we really liked. We could have taken our own car and completed the same route. However, we had Kenny our tour guide. He was full of information and jokes. He didn't stop talking the entire tour and he cracked us up. I would have been bored had we driven ourselves. I wish he did hiking tours too. Lol

Kenny was very informative and presented the material with a great sense of humor. Good overview of history, natural habitat, and significance of the area. These two Kentuckians were very entertained.

It was fun, but he did go on and on. Kids found it cool, but boring. They didn’t enjoy the whole thing. Adults did. Probably wouldn’t need to go again. One and done. Beautiful scenery made up for it.

The weather was warm (early October), but there was plenty of shade inside the trolley and a comfortable breeze. The stop for pictures is brief too, so weather was not a factor.

Great tour and the guide was informative, funny and a nice guy. Definitely worth the money. They stopped in the vortex area and we were able to take some nice pictures. And gave us a 15% off coupon for all the restaurants that were near by the pick up station

We have never been to Sedona and weren’t sure what tour to go with and we are so excited and happy with this tour, Michael our tour guide was so informative and funny as well as knowledgeable, very nice time and enjoyable, loved it!!

Our tour guide, “Piper” is an excellent host. He guided us through a marvelous trip around the mountains.

There is such amazing scenery around Sedona and we loved seeing that but the tour guide was super cheesy. We would have appreciated the tour so much more without the theatrics. We just wanted a tour with some history of the area without the comedy show. Guide was a nice fellow who probably knows a lot about the area, and I wish he would have just told those things in a normal way. The Viator email also had a link to the meeting place but directed us to the wrong address. That should be corrected.

It was a great tour. The guide was very colorful, hospitable and knowledgeable.

Was the trip was brief it was easy to see out of the vehicle for children alike. The beauty of Sedona speaks for itself. There were some inappropriate jokes for children.

The girl at the office where tickets are issued was very informative. She shared a lot of information about the area that was very interesting. She and her family lived in Sedona most of her life. The guide was very informative as well. Based on the information they provided, I hope to visit Sedona again and will recomend the trolly tour to everyone I know.

Loved our tour guide, Piper. He was knowledgeable and entertaining! We started and finished on time. I would say the seats are uncomfortable. And the bus is very loud making hearing difficult.

Trolley only has a few seats with open windows views. Seats in the back are cramped. Get in line early.

I would skip this trip. Better tours are out there. Tour at 1 PM with temps near 90 degrees and they had no water for the passengers.

I was nervous after reading the reviews about last minute cancelations the week before and no refund. But I called the morning of our tour and the lady had said it had been a rough week for trolleys breaking down. Said everything was set for our tour though. Luckily all was absolutely perfect. The driver was hilarious. Like a character out of an old western film. So much interesting information. Saw "thunder mountain" which the roller coaster Thunder Mountain in Disney is based off of. That was super cool because we are big fans! Gave so much advice on places to eat and shop that I wish I had done this as my first activity instead of my last! Now I need to go back and try all their suggestions! Lots of facts about how Sedona became such a hot spot (no pun intended) for people to live and vacation. Interesting stories about floods and people hiking and not being careful. Moral of the story - drink 3 gallons of water if you are hiking! Great experience.

Knowledge and entertaining guide

A very through tour of Sedona and surrounding area. Enjoyed the chats with our driver Scott. Our original tour was cancelled and we got credit for an upgraded tour The manager's name iI forgot but she flagged us after we could not locate the tour starting point. She was exceptional and did a great job. We'll worth the time and money. Plenty of chances for photos and 3 stops to stretch our legs for more pictures. Scott took my wife's and me for 2 photos.

We did the trolley tour 55 minutes of seeing the town of Sedona and enjoyed the scenic views as well as the commentary by our guide !

It was super fun, our Tour guide “Cowboy Kenny” was a hoot. Although it was probably not possible, I would’ve liked to have had more photo opportunities.

They first texted said trolley was not available, We would have to take van ok, 4min before 11am arrival they canceled all said they didn't have a vehicle. If they would of canceled earlier we could of done something else. Very poor business!

Horrible experience with the trolly company and Viator customer service. Booking was at 11. 1 hour before got a message saying trolley wasn’t available and we would have to go in a van instead. Fine no problem. Got there, checked in, waited 30min for the Van and at 10:59 got a message saying there’s no vehicle available. Talked to a manager who dismissed us and said we had to call viator for a refund then she closed shop and walked across the street. I came with a group of 7 and 3 bookings. 2/3 were able to get a refund and the third couple hasn’t yet. Customer service said they couldn't confirm the trip was canceled because no one answered the phone. Well yeah we just saw the lady walk across the street! We got the managers number and viator said they couldn’t call even though 2 other couples had just went through the same process with different reps. We are waiting on a manager call back to process the 3rd refund. What a disaster. Would not recommend!!

Kenny was an amazing tour guide, full of knowledge but knew how to keep us laughing! The views were amazing, even though the usual route was blocked off due to road closures, they were able to accommodate us still and take us on a different but equally beautiful tour. I highly recommend!

Wear sunscreen in the summer. It is warmer than you think. The trolley was a rough ride but the tour guide, Kenny, was full of fun.

It was nice to get a quick view of sites of interest that you can visit later and be aware of the location of those sites
