What a wonderful experience! Loretta, our guide was terrific. Not only did we get a great tour, but also information about the area and her family’s connection. She even shared tips for getting great photos. It was a beautiful day and we had so much fun.

Itinerary
We'll board at your booked departure time and set off on an unforgettable adventure. Our journey begins with a 25-30 minute drive along private dirt roads in the Navajo Nation, where you'll enjoy breathtaking views of the picturesque Vermillion Cliffs and sandstone mesas. Though the distance is not far, we drive at a leisurely pace to let you take in the beauty of the surroundings.
Upon arriving at the Secret Antelope Canyon parking area, your guide will provide a brief introduction covering the dos and don’ts of the canyon. From there, enjoy a short 0.3-mile nature walk into the canyon. You'll be amazed by the stunning striations, curves, and colors carved into the sandstone walls. Your guide will share fascinating insights about the canyon and point out the best spots for capturing incredible photos. After exploring the canyon, we’ll return to the parking area to board the vehicle.
Next, we’ll take a 20-minute drive to an exclusive viewing spot of Horseshoe Bend, located on the Navajo Nation, bypassing the congested public access trail. Here, you’ll have a shorter and more intimate walk to the rim, where you can soak in panoramic views of the Colorado River winding around the iconic bend. Your guide will provide interesting information about the area and ensure everyone has ample opportunities for photos.
After enjoying the private Horseshoe Bend overlook, we’ll take a short drive back to the meeting point.

Dress in layers , make sure you have a great camera or camera phone. Bring water. Make sure you tell the driver to stop to pee if you have too in the middle or h they won’t know too.
Our guide was Britt and he did a great job navigating the tour - he had a few funny jokes too !! The views were amazing ! You get exactly what you are paying for. They have bathrooms and couches in waiting area of the office. Everything was great
Ty was an amazing guide! He shared his Navajo culture through storytelling, maintaining our attention throughout the tour. He delighted us with his camera skills, taking pictures with our own cameras, thereby providing each of us with professional photos and memories of Antelope Canyon and Horseshoe Bend. It was well worth the price, and I highly recommend this tour.
it was a wonderful tour and away from all the crowds. Very special. Loved our guide Gaile. I would highly reccomend it
Triple excitement! This tour gave us 3 unique experiences. First, a drive through Navajo country gave us beautiful views not available to everyone, as well as the fun of riding in an open air vehicle. Second, the tour through the secret slot canyon was informative as our Navajo guide, Trey, explained formation of the natural phenomenon, some Navajo beliefs, and history. After walking almost to the end of the canyon with our guide we had 30 minutes to explore on our own. Plenty of time for pictures and enjoying the natural beauty. Finally, for our third adventure we went to the Horseshoe Bend overlook on Navajo land. It felt so peaceful and what a great view! We could see the public overlook and it looked a little crowded so having this private space felt extra special and peaceful.
Teniya was great and the canyon was amazing! I’ve not seen anything like it before. Note the ride from meeting point to canyon is about 25 mins and we were on benches on the back of an F150. We were freezing! It did not negatively impact our excursion but we weren’t prepared so want to make it clear for others. It was totally worth it. Not crowded, small group and we took our time on the tour. 10/10.
Gail was fantastic. She was very knowledgeable and assisted with every step plus, she has great photography skills.
The canyon was unbelievable and a beautiful day for the tour! Our guide was kind, thoughtful and a good sense of humor!
Tour guide - Britt was funny and guided us to his secret antelope at his private land that his grandmother owned. He told us interesting story about his family business and guided us to his family antelope comfortably. We felt we were invited to his privileged land by his family privately. Thank you!
Fantastic experience with great detail and history! It is suited to almost all average travelers! Gail was our tour guide and she is 5 star all the way! Professional, funny, pretty much our professional photographer, and very knowing and respectful of her Navajo culture.
Lovely morning touring the canyons. This sun streaming in highlighting the beauty of the different colors. Enjoyed hearing our tour guide playing his flute.
Deer Spring Canyon Tours is a family owned business and our guide, Trey, is part of the family. He was obviously familiar with both Antelope Canyon and Horseshoe Bend. At one point in the canyon he played a beautiful solo on a flute, which echoed in the canyon. It was spectacular.
What an amazing tour, both Antelope Canyon and Horseshoe Bend were breath taking. Plus our tour guide Kenny made this wonderful birthday gift for my wife that much more special. Highly recommend!
The trip and sites were beyond believable! Our guide, Kenny, was informative and made for a wonderful experience! 5 stars all around. Would definitely recommend to anyone in the southern Utah/northern Arizona area.
This slot canyon with a small group allowed us time to get to know our guide, gave us plenty of time to take photos and we were given time alone to explore the secret canyon and private viewing area of horseshoe bend. Would recommend for anyone who wants a more private experience. Our guide was great and even played the flute in the canyon for us!
Deer Spring Tours was perfect for us. We only had one day in Page and wanted a combo slot canyon & Horseshoe Bend tour. The slot canyon they take you to is beautiful. Your group has the canyon all to yourself, without the overcrowding that most of the other slot canyon tours have. After the canyon tour you are taken to the private Navajo lookout for Horseshoe Bend. We had the overlook to ourselves, without the overcrowding you would experience at the public Horseshoe Bend overlook! Just amazing!
Unforgettable experience! Sene was an amazing guide and I loved hearing her stories of growing up in the area. I learned so much about the native plants, the canyons, and Native American culture. The slot canyons were easy to access and simply stunning. The view of horseshoe bend was awe inspiring and it was just our little group of six taking in the view! The best slot canyon tour.
Private tour of secret slot canyon, not Antelope, but just as nice if not better. Smaller groups, great guide, Gail, who explained many things, pointed out figures, took great pics and showed us photography tips. Also, view of Horseshoe bend from private location. No crowds and drove right up to the picture site. No need to walk long distances.
Our guide Kenny was very knowledgeable and engaging. Visiting a slot canyon with no crowds was a big bonus.
It was wonderful to be with an experienced guide and part of a small group. We especially loved that the guides planned their schedules to avoid other groups so the canyon was not crowded. Trey had a few surprises for us that made the experience even more specia.
This tour was awesome. Our guide, Kenny, was fun, informative, and helpful throughout our time. Highly recommend this tour.
Wonderful experience. Kenny was an excellent guide. Not only did she explain derails about the stunning canyon, she also shared I formation about Navajo traditions. And she took some great photos! Horseshoe Bend overlook was beautiful.
Unfortunately, it is not in Sedona. When we originally googled things to do in Sedona this excursion was on the list. we booked a hotel in Sedona and that night we realized the meeting spot was three hours from Sedona, we have booked other trips through Viator and have been very satisfied with them. We spoke to a representative and was told that they will see what they can do about a refund. We have since booked another reservation through via and enjoyed that tour. Thank you.
The experience of both the secret canyon (slot canyon) and horseshoe bend were exceptional. The secret canyon was absolutely beautiful and the guide helped us take pictures and allowed us plenty of viewing time. We actually were able to walk through the canyon (on flat ground - no stairs) and then go back through it from the end to the beginning to view items missed the first time. The horseshoe canyon tour was to a private viewing area away from the crowds, with spectacular viewing of the river, etc. While the tour members and guide were so friendly, supportive and helpful, we would have loved to hear more about the culture, etc.
The Slot Canyon was AMAZING! The colors inside the canyon changed as you changed angles. It was wonderful to have a small group of 13. Horseshoe Bend was another amazing spot and no crowds!!
We had an absolutely amazing experience with Deer Creek Tours exploring Secret Lower Antelope Canyon and Horseshoe Bend! From start to finish, the entire tour exceeded our expectations. The breathtaking scenery, incredible views, and overall experience made this one of the most memorable highlights of our trip. A special shoutout to Kenny, who was absolutely phenomenal! Her customer service was exceptional, and her knowledge of the area, its history, and the incredible formations was truly impressive. She went above and beyond to make sure everyone felt welcomed, comfortable, and engaged throughout the entire experience. Her enthusiasm, professionalism, and attention to detail really made the tour even more special. The beauty of Secret Lower Antelope Canyon and Horseshoe Bend speaks for itself, but having such an outstanding guide elevated the entire experience to another level. If you’re visiting the area, I highly recommend Deer Creek Tours! And if you’re fortunate enough to have Kenny as your guide, you’re in for an unforgettable experience. Thank you, Kenny, and the entire Deer Creek Tours team, for making our adventure truly exceptional! We would absolutely do it again!
Kenny was fantastic. She told the history of the slot canyons, guided us through them, helped set up cameras, showed where to get the best shots and even offered to take photos of us. Then Horseshoe Bend was quick with fast, easy access for more great shots. HIGHLY recommend this tour group & Kenny
This was a really nice tour. Great views. Our guide was friendly and informative and patient with us. The ride out to the canyon was fun. The walk though the canyon was gentle and easy.
Amazing experience. Our guide Brit was the best. Don’t miss this if you can.
Our guide was the best. Grew up in the caves that she took us too. Very comfortable place to leave from. Great views and she was great at taking pictures. Highly recommend.
This tour was fun, informative and amazing! It can’t disappoint. The ride there is exciting and the views are incredible. Then you arrive at the canyon and it’s so beautiful! Our tour guides were on point and friendly.
Our family of 5, with 3 kids, found this tour to be one of the highlights of our trip. The kids got a kick out of the ride in the open air vehicle. The canyon and Horseshoe bend views were incredible! Our guide, Britt, was informative and entertaining. He took pictures for each group, adjusting phone settings for an amazing picture. We felt like we had the perfect amount of time between both sites. Highly recommend this tour!
We did not go on the tour. Due to weather we tried canceling before the 24 hour cancelation deadline. Our calls to the tour company went unanswered until finally getting a text 4 hours later. We were told that the tour company couldn't cancel due to a third party booking the trip. I will have Visa file a dispute in order to get my funds credited. Not impressed with the run around and lack of communication.
Our experience was fantastic! I only wish we had booked it through Deer Springs our guide Mariah was fantastic with including information on Navajo culture and traditions along with helping to get the best quality of photos out of everyone’s phones.
Amazing!! Malcolm was our guide and was extremely fun and knowledgeable! He’s also a great photographer! Hands down best guide!😉
Excellent tour made even better by Malcolm our guide. Fun, informative, genuine … loved the slot canyon and the geology behind its formation … and then Horseshoe Bend.. Stunning! Just our group no crowds.. private and special!!!!
I had the best time out there. The views were aweeeemmaazinggg. The fee was reasonable. I was lucky to be in a group with only 3 guests so we took our time and were not rushed. Our guide was the best and I had a thousand questions for her but she was patient and helpful through all of it. I recommend this for everyone. We skipped all the long lines. The tour was less than 2.5 hours and the memories are for a lifetime.
Gail was wonderful and the pictures on the website don’t do it justice. It was amazing.
Our tour guide was amazing with the pictures the angles and she was naturally funny. Most fun I had for my birthday I’ll come back again
Fun / Convenient / Easy / Private / ok for disabled & older folks also. Guide was wonderful, open to discussion on culture.
Brit was GREAT!!! He was informative and had a personality you had to love. I would definitely recommend this tour.
This experience was a 10/10. Easy to book, great response with questions ahead of time from staff, both points were phenomenal and so private…so worth it!!! Gail was our guide and she was amazing!!!!!
Well worth the money! Trey was a great guide who gave us so much information. He showed us how to take the best pictures and was super knowledgeable. We were able to get the most out of our experience by avoiding the overcrowded mainstream experience.
What an amazing experience with a small group and exclusive places for pictures of both. Highly recommend. Our guide Gail was amazing!!
Words cannot describe how incredible this experience was. The Secret Canyon was sooo much better than my expectations. Absolutely spectacular. Our guide added so much to the experience with stories of her youth and family and their experiences in the canyon. Horseshoe Bend was beautiful, but pales in comparison to the slot canyon. This is a must do tour in Page.
Nicole , our guide , did a great job. The slot canyon was beautiful and so was the visit to Horseshoe Bend. Love supporting family businesses.
If I can walk the upper canyon with a completely torn meniscus you can do it, it is not strenuous. I am so grateful I was able to do it, it was absolutely amazing and worth every second.
Secret canyons and private view of horseshoe bend. Not much hiking involved. Allows you to experience the sites without the crowds,
We thoroughly enjoyed our tour of Secret Antelope Canyon & Horseshoe Bend. Loretta, our guide was very knowledgeable of the area and made the trip a joy. The experience was mind blowing to me even though I've seen many pictures of the slot canyons.
