Itinerary
On our tours, we take you on a private off-road 4x4 drive for 6 miles (approximately 30 minutes) meandering through the desert, rolling hills and wash-beds. During the drive, we may see coyotes, foxes, bobcats, owls, hawks and other desert wildlife!
Our shaded, open-air 4x4 tour truck takes you on a thrilling six-mile off-road adventure to the entrance of Secret Antelope Canyon, followed by a 300-meter nature walk to the stunning slot canyon. With just a small number of guests, you'll have ample time to photograph and truly immerse yourself in this magical location.
At Horseshoe Bend Overlook, we'll avoid the congested public parking lot and take a private dirt road that leads to within 100 meters of the edge of the canyon. This private access, not open to the general public, means a much shorter walk to the rim and breathtaking views of the Colorado River winding around the Horseshoe Bend loop.

We stayed at a Choice Hotel in Page Arizona. It was about 3 miles from the tour parking lot. Very easy to find. Followed the directions from their website. Road about 7 miles on the tour truck. The road is bumpy but a fun ride. The tour guide showed us popular spot in the canyon that people like to take photos. She even offered to take photos of couples. The canyon floor is sandy. The Horseshoe Bend view point was a little more to left of the picture that is commonly seen of it. Still a great view.
The Combo Secret Antelope Canyon & Horseshoe Bend Overlook tour was excellent. Our guide Michaela Red Wolf was very informative and helpful with photography. The tour has a maximum of 12 people and is a 20 minute drive from the office site. The office was very tricky to find as it is operated by a local company called Lii' Bikee' Tours and it is a literally a small trailer on the side of the highway and easy to miss. Red Wolf drove us in a covered open-air 4 WD vehicle on a very scenic but somewhat bumpy ride to the canyon entrance. Secret Antelope Canyon has two companies offering tours that are 30 minutes apart and each with a maximum of 12 people. The canyon itself is not crowded and it combines the characteristics of both Lower and Upper Antelope Canyons (the A and V features of the sandstone). This tour is a great choice for anyone looking for a less crowded slot canyon tour and you can still take great photos. At the end of the tour we did a quick stop at the Horseshoe Bend Overlook which on this tour is on private land so it is just to the left of the public viewing area. The benefit is you have just a short walk to the viewing area and it is just your small group. The viewpoint is not dead center as it is from the public view point and there was some afternoon shadow (which you would get from any view point) but it was worth a quick stop to see and photograph it.
We had such a great experience visiting Horseshoe Bend and Antelope Canyon! Our tour guide, Merlin, was wonderful. He was very friendly, patient, and knowledgeable. We really enjoyed learning about the area, its history, and the Navajo culture. He shared so many interesting facts that made the experience even more special. I would definitely recommend this tour!
It is not crowded and very beautiful!!!!¡!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!¡!!!¡!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
This was ,without a doubt, a great tour in Page! We were in a only group with no crowd. Our tour guide was helpful and knowledgeable and answered all our questions. She also took photos four the guests at the slot canyon & at Horseshoe Bend. A really wonderful experience, worth every penny!
Wonderful experience! Only 8 people with tour. Did not ever feel rushed to walk thru canyon. Tour guide very knowledgeable, helped with setting up cameras and suggestions on photos. We went mid morning and it was stunning. Very beautiful! Well worth it!
We booked a tour with Horseshoe Bend Slot Canyon Tours at the last minute, and the only opening was the first tour of the day. I was concerned that we might be starting too early for good photographs—or possibly before the photographer himself had fully awakened. Fortunately, the early start worked in our favor. Our group was small, and our guide, Makayla, was one of the company’s newer guides. Based on her knowledge and professionalism, however, we never would have guessed it. Makayla shared fascinating geological information and Navajo stories about the canyons throughout the tour. Before we entered, she also showed us several cellphone settings that dramatically improved our pictures—features most of us apparently had been carrying around for years without ever meeting. She knew every worthwhile photo location and helped us capture the canyon at its best. The scenery alone would have made this a memorable tour, but Makayla’s knowledge, preparation, and personality made it exceptional.
Absolutely great! Our guide (Mikayla) was fab, she really cared about her land and gave us so much time to talk to her. Less people than other tours, we have horseshoe bend to our selves and she had great recommendations on how to take photos. A wonderful experience ❤️
My wife has some back issues, so we booked a private tour of both Horseshoe Bend and the “secret” Antelope Canyon. I was somewhat skeptical of what we might experience, since I read and watched so much about both of these experiences. In particular, I was worried about having to walk a lot and dealing with crowds. My goodness! Horseshoe Bend Slot Canyon Tours were wonderful! Jere was our driver and guide. She was so very helpful to my wife and provided so much good information on these sites as well as the history of the land. We were able to drive almost to the edge of Horseshoe Bend and also drive right up to the slot canyon with NO CROWDS which made the experience so pleasurable. We thoroughly enjoyed this experience and can’t say enough about it!
This was an amazing tour with outstanding guides. The canyon is beautiful and very photogenic. Then you get a private viewing area of Horseshoe Bend.
Such a beautiful experience! Would recommend seeing as it looks better in person!
Absolutely amazing experience! Our tour was incredible from start to finish. The slot canyon was breathtaking, and seeing the beautiful colors, unique formations, and incredible views in person was unforgettable. Our guide was friendly, knowledgeable, and made the experience fun and enjoyable for everyone. Everything was well organized, and we never felt rushed. If you’re visiting Page, Arizona, I highly recommend this tour. It was definitely one of the highlights of our trip!
Amazing tour!! Highly recommend
Oh this tour!!! I can’t say enough good things about it! It was my mom’s second time doing it… That’s how good it is. Our guide was Moses and he was absolutely amazing! He helped us take some really incredible pictures and told us so much information about the area. This is the only tour company I would use for the slot canyons near Page, Az. Such small groups in comparison to the other tours and excellent for anyone that has a little bit more mobility issue. But it doesn’t matter whether you have a mobility issue or not. It is an awesome tour company. The BEST!!
I had an amazing time on this tour! The views were amazing. The secret Canyon was unbelievably serene on this privately guided tour with Moses. Moses made us feel welcome and shared the Navajo nation, history with us and part of his ancestry. He also talked about the slot Canyon and also horseshoe bend and helped us with the photos. He took individual photos of each one of us. It was a quiet tour with super energy inside the canyon. I can’t say enough about it and look forward to coming back soon. Well worth the money!!
Randy Tso was a fantastic tour guide. Perfect day from start to finish. We felt like it was a private tour. Great info and photo opportunities. Just spectacular!
What a great tour with a great guide named Randy. Checked this off my bucket list and it was very personable. Had the Canyon to ourself with our group and the Bend was breathtaking as well.
Our tour guide Randy was phenomenal! He explained the Navajo tradition, the history of the canyon and encouraged us to ask questions and take our time through the entire tour. The pictures he took of us were outstanding and look professional! We had a wonderful time!
Two feathers was a great tour guide. The smaller group size and off road experience was a perfect fit for our family.
Horseshoe Bend tours had to reschedule us twice but the wait was well worth it. We were picked up and dropped off at our hotel by the tour guide Moe. We went early in in the morning and had the canyon to ourselves! Moe was an excellent tour leader, knowledgeable and friendly. He also took us to the Horseshoe Bend overlook far away from the larger crowds and again, we had the view to ourselves. We highly recommend this outfit. When seeing Secret slot canyon, its probably better to see it late morning-midday, as it combines features of both Upper and Lower Antelope Canyon with rays of light shining through the canyon.
Lots of fun. Good perspective of Navajo culture.
Great day, very relaxing, all great people In our small group, great guides. Guides helped with pictures. Enjoyable tour
This was a fantastic tour! Pickup location was easy to get to in Page. Truck was such a fun ride into canyon and back. But the best part was our guide- Moses! He was AMAZING!!! So informative and he not only offered to take photos that are soooo good, but he event takes the time to teach you how to take your own amazing photos! Private viewing area of Horseshoe Bay was great. Avoided the line to get in and crowd in the main viewing area. We had the slot Canyon to ourselves and we’re able to spend our time seeing everything and taking all our photos without being rushed. Highly recommend this tour!
This tour was great! Jerri was our guide and made the experience a lot of fun. There were only 9 people on our tour, and it very much went on our own pace, allowing us to take photos and look at all of the scenery. Jerri even took photos of each group, and knew all of the best spots! The company is going through a name change, so it was a little confusing at first, but follow the signs and yiu will find it. We'll worth the cost!
Great tour Moses was a terrific guide
Best thing we did during our week-long trip to Arizona. There was only one other person on our tour and we had the slot canyon to ourselves. I was extremely grateful for the "private" tour, especially once I saw the hundreds of people parked and fighting for a view of Horseshoe Bend at the public location. Randy was amazing. We took several tours on this trip and had many great guides - all who talked to us about what happened to the earth over millions of years to produce the Arizona landscape - but Randy really brought it home with his simple but powerful sand and water demonstration on the canyon floor. Something I will never forget!
We had an incredible experience on this guided tour. The canyon itself was absolutely breathtaking, with stunning rock formations, colors, and views around every turn. Moses was our guide and he was so knowledgeable, friendly, and shared fascinating information about the Navajo history and culture.
Unbelievable day. Geri was our guide and she was amazing. No crowds, and she took her time with us. Couldn’t be more grateful and happy with her
Husband-and-wife, Kyran and Ro, were fantastic. They imported a wealth of knowledge, history of the Slot Antelope Canyon and Horseshoe Bend. They even photographed us beautifully, incorporating, the majestic views. The transportation was great. This was a phenomenal tour and I recommended to my family and friends.
So glad we chose to do the Horseshoe Bend and Secret Antelope Canyon Sunset Tour. We were a small group of 6 and the last tour of the day, had the canyon all to ourselves. The view from the Navajo/Dineh viewpoint at Horseshoe Bend was just amazing especially at sunset! Our guide was Randy and we very much enjoyed our time with him, his stories and his knowledge of the area. We would definitely recommend both the tour and Randy as we would without a doubt do it again.
We had a great time! Our guide was Randy. He was fun and informative.
This was hands down one of the best tours we’ve ever done. Randy was an exceptional guide, and the canyon itself was absolutely majestic. Spending time on Navajo land, hearing the history, and learning about the culture firsthand was a privilege we won’t forget. The tour ended with private access to Horseshoe Bend, and with only six people in our group, we never had to fight crowds or wait for photos. It made the entire experience feel personal, peaceful, and unforgettable. Thank you for sharing your land, your history, and your music with us. If you’re considering a tour like this, book it. And if you’re lucky enough to get Randy as your guide, you’re in for something special.
This was the perfect tour. I went during the middle of the week at 1:00 and there were only two other people on my tour. The small group allowed for a more intimate tour and plenty of time to explore and take pictures. The excursion was about 4 hours exactly. My tour guide, Moses, was wonderful. He was incredibly informative of the region. Moses took absolutely amazing pictures and videos of me and also gave tips on the best way to photograph the canyon. Definitely would book with this company again.
Simply amazing. Go on the 10 am tour to get the best lighting. It’s still cool in the canyon too. We had Moses for our tour guide, and he was amazing. The tour group was small, there were 8 in total with 4 being our family. Moses will guide you in getting the best photos - the ones you see all over the internet! Absolutely the highlight of our trip - better than horseshoe bend, and definitely better than Grand Canyon. We loved hearing the history and chatting with Moses. If you head south after your tour, stop at Nowah’s little food shack and get a fry bread. You will not be disappointed. Don’t waste your time and frustration on the larger tour with the other companies to save a few dollars. This one is 100% worth it.
Randy Tso was our guide. One of the best tours we've had on our journey across the southwest. Incredible places with exclusive acess to avoid the crowds but Randy made them more special. Knowledgable, funny and very personable. Book here and ask for Randy.
Amazing excursion! Our group was small that gave us unique opportunity to experience the site viewing with no rush.
This tour was great. Got to see a slot canyon without the crowd. Only 6 of us on the tour so got to take our time and really enjoy the majestic views of the canyon. Randy Tso was our guide and was fantastic. Teaching us about the Navajo history and how the land and canyon formed. After over an hour in the canyon went over to a private section of Horseshoe Bend and got to take in the sunset without the walk there or back. Randy is also an amazing photographer (photos attached are not his as he took them of us in canyon and bend).
Had a fantastic time. Moses was our driver/guide very knowledgeable pleasant to be with also very helpful with composing pictures and photo techniques. Thanks to him we got a lot of high quality photos. Also unlike his name suggests we weren’t lost wandering in the wilderness. We all made it back to the starting point with smiles on our faces. Had a great morning no crowds a peaceful leisurely trek through a small part of natures artwork. We would definitely recommend this tour and Moses.
Jeri was our Navajo (family owned business) guide. This tour was special in many ways. A small group of 8. Jeri had extensive knowledge of the area (the Secret Canyon is on her family's property) and even demonstrated with sand and water how the "slot" canyon came to be. She was a master driver on the sandy dirt ride to the canyon (6 miles). They also had their own private lookout point to HorseShoe Bend Canyon, which was outstanding since again, lots of room to spread out and take fabulous pics. All the pics on their website are exactly how the canyons look.
My wife and I just took this tour last week. We loved it! We’re both 71 but we were able to get on and off the truck with no problems. Our guide Randy Tso was the highlight of the trip, with his great knowledge of Navajo history and culture, and his very good flute playing. I recommend the tour- ask for Randy.
Moses was our guide and he was exceptional! This was our second time booking with this company and I would highly recommend them. Being able to see the canyon and Horseshoe Bend at our own pace and with a very small group is the way to go. Moses gave us a photography lesson and helped us capture some beautiful photos!
Amazing tour. Highly recommend the sunset tour as you get the canyon to yourself and can take more amazing photos than you know what to do with. And then the sunset from Horseshoe Bend is amazing. Randy Tso is an excellent guide and you'll be blessed to learn about the Navajo from him.
Our trip to Antelope Canyon was absolutely unforgettable, and a huge part of that was our guide, Randy. He was truly amazing from start to finish. He took his time with our group, made sure everyone felt comfortable, and guided us through the canyon while helping us capture incredible photos along the way. What really stood out was when we reached the end of the canyon—Randy sat with us and shared stories about his history, his tribe, how Antelope Canyon was formed, and his experiences with the Navajo people. It made the whole experience so much more meaningful and personal. He answered every question we had with patience and kindness, and he kept us laughing the entire time. One of the most beautiful moments of the tour was on the way back. Randy began playing a flute (I’m not sure of the proper name), and walking through the canyon while listening to the music was incredibly peaceful and unforgettable. It was truly a magical experience. I would absolutely book this tour again and would highly recommend requesting Randy as your guide. He made our visit something we’ll never forget.
This was an amazing experience! Maci and her mom were truly delightful tourguides with a great sense of humor! The canyon and the view from Horseshoe Bend were phenomenal, but learning about the land and culture from our guides was just as important! Thanks for everything!
Worth every penny. Our guide, Two Feathers, was knowledgeable and very personable. He shared stories and gave input on how to get the best pictures possible. We never felt rushed and it was so nice to have a small group. I would highly recommend adding this to your Arizona visit. The sites you see in a slot canyon are unique. We will be talking about this day for quite some time.
Top notch !! We did sunset tour . Absolutely Amazing . Randy was our guide . Great wealth of information.
This was an awesome experience, lasting 3+ hours. Both the slot canyon and the view overlooking Horseshoe Bend are on private land and uncrowded. The drive to Secret Antelope Canyon was unforgettable. The slot canyon was exceedingly beautiful. The trail was a fairly easy walk in loose sand. Be prepared to have sand work its way into your shoes. Randy, our guide, was extremely knowledgeable and personable. He shared his Navajo culture and history with the group. He took the time to help us set our iphones for the best picture quality and then took pictures of each group. Horseshoe Bend overlook was breathtaking. You could see the entire bend and watch the boats and kayaks navigate the Colorado River far below. We will recommend this tour to all our friends and family.
Such a beautiful and unique canyon. I loved the private tour with our guide Randy. He was very knowledgeable and was a funny dude. He made the experience extremely enjoyable. He also was able to share the best settings on our phones for photos and he took amazing photos for us. I highly recommend!!!
Absolutely breathtaking tour. The small group setting is great. You are not rushed and get to take in all the beautiful scenery. Randy Tsao was our guide and was knowledgeable, provided wonderful information about the canyon crestion as well as the Navajo history. Bonus, he takes great pictures!! Highly recommend this tour company
