While visiting the Phoenix area, what’s better than driving a 2-seated 2026 Polaris Trail Sport UTV over cool terrain with your best bud by your side? How about having a guide to lead the way so you don’t get lost! Our customer reviews on this desert adventure tour are through the roof! This isn’t some slow-speed, single file UTV tour. This is a smile-a-second adventure tour through super-cool desert track; rock gardens, sandy washes, twisty canyons, and technical two track. Bottled water and snacks will be provided at the mid way stop and drivers and passengers can swap at this point. On this adventure tour will also learn about the Flora and Fauna in Sonoran Desert and that the only place you can find the Saguaro Cactus is in The Sonoran Desert. We bring the buggies, the helmets, gators, water and snacks. You bring you and see why Desert Dog Offroad Adventures is the closest desert tour operator in the Phoenix and surrounding area!

Itinerary
Lots of beautiful cactus, water crossing, rock gardens, sandy washes and twisty canyons. Possible wildlife include eagles, wild horses, snakes, spiders and more!

Four Peaks Mountain Range can be viewed from this tour.
Your off-road experience will be taking you thru The Sonoran Desert which is the only desert where The Saguaro Cactus grows.
When in the rainy season there may be river crossing the trail.
Experience The Sonoran Desert as you off-road in Tonto National Forest.

Did the sunset tour with Nick and Parker and it was amazing. They were on it with being informative and thinking of situations that may occur. Explained the best ways to drive and what to expect on the trails! During the ride Nick made sure the group was keeping up at all times and was cautious. It was the perfect mix of thrill seeking but view catching! Would love to do this tour AGAIN!

It was good - Mike was great. It was very dusty but the trail was fun. Could have more areas of going a bit faster - the size of your was good - only five quads plus leader - Only one water break - and we could have switched up who was in the quad behind the leader to share the dust.
We had a great time!! ...

We had a great time!! Mike was fun and energetic and an excellent tour guide, He shared his knowledge of the desert and history of the mountains which we appreciated. 10our of 10 for entertainment!

The guides were knowable of the area and machine Chris and Parker explained about the area and answered questions. Parker explained about the different cacti.

This is our first time in Arizona. Mike made our experience so special. We were lucky that we had a beautiful afternoon/evening so we could enjoy the surroundings.

we were originally supposed to take the morning ride, but the operator asked if we’d be willing to switch to the sunset tour…so glad we did! the views were gorgeous and our guides were so informative about the desert. they were patient, willing to take pictures, and overall made sure the experience was safe and enjoyable. be ready for the dust!!

Don our tour guide was awesome. His knowledge of the desert landscape was second to none. He put the safety of the tour front and center. I would highly recommend booking any outdoor adventure with Don

The UTV ride in the Sonoran Desert was very fun! It was very windy during our UTV ride, but we had a blast cruising through the desert!

Fun to do one time. Good content opportunity. Very shaky and dusty ride. Everyone in the group rides in a straight line and you have to follow very closely to the person in front of you. Overpriced for what it is, but also fun to experience once.

This side by side tour through the Sonoran Desert was so much fun! It’s a great way to experience the desert and all the saguaros, roadrunners and whatever else you might run across! Guides were very informative, friendly and knowledgeable. We would do it again. The only thing that was a ridiculous cost was getting a driver from our hotel in Phoenix. It was highly recommended not to use UBER or LYFT because the location was coordinates on a map and so it’s hard for the driving companies to find it to get you there. We ended up using a person they recommended and it cost $175 PLUS tip. We were picked up in a LYFT car. The driver was a super nice guy, nothing against him but save yourself some moolah and use a regular LYFT or UBER driver.

The guides were great. Very informative and stressed safety. If I visit Arizona again, this will be #1 on my to do list again. Had a blast.

Enjoyed this experience with my daughter and granddaughters as part of my birthday celebration trip. Our guide was great - friendly, patient, helpful, informative and so knowledgeable. Desert Dog so accommodating to schedule us around the inclement weather. Sunset pictures to remember for a lifetime.

We had THE best time exploring the desert. Our guides Aiden and Ryan were excellent. Worth every penny. Make this excursion a priority if traveling to the Phoenix/Scottsdale area. Be prepared to get dusty, but worth the fun!
