Schnebly Hill Jeep Tour: Rugged Rim Views & Historic 4x4 Road

We had such a great time on this tour! Amazing views. Our guide was JC , He did an incredible job . He’s extremely knowledgeable of the land and history and delivers it in a fun way.

I thoroughly enjoyed the Rim Run Supreme tour with Whelan. The truck was large and sturdy and seemed to absorb the bumps better than many of the vehicles we passed. Was fun bumpy not uncomfortable bumpy. My 75-year old mother thought so too! Whelan was a wealth of knowledge and totally expert at the driving. He kept up fun and interesting conversation the whole time. I’m so glad we chose this company!

The Arizona Safari staff and tour guide “Doc” were all friendly and knowledgeable. The scenery was fantastic, and ride rugged as advertised. Our guide Doc was terrific.

Waylon was wonderful. He knew the terrain, all the best look out spots, and took amazing pics for us. Convenient pick up spot and wonderful tour experience.

Guide was well informed and knowledgable of the area and points of interest on the tour. It was good paced with a couple stops for picture taking and to stretch your legs. We accessed areas that I otherwise would not have reached so it was nice to see views from more restricted areas. This was an alternate trip as weather resulted in the first option not being available but being unfamiliar with the area it did not impact my enjoyment. I would book again if I have the opportunity. Note that seeing what is being described is someowhat dependent on what side of the jeep you sit. You will see it coming back but it may lack some of the naration. By going in the morning we missed some of the crowd amassing as we exited.

Our tour was changed due to flooding. As a result a moderate ride ended up being rough. Our guide Whelan made up for the bumps and rattles. If it hadn’t been for him I’d have asked for a refund. Whelan was informed, considerate of his passengers and just plain fun.

Great way to really see all the special Red Rock canyons, learn about the history and have a wonderful experience. Our tour guide Brad was phenomenal….so much great information.

Our rim run supreme tour was fantastic. What made it even better was our guide Avery! He was so knowledgeable about Sedona's fun facts and history and especially enjoyed the Indigenous history he shared with us. Highly recommend!

There were only four of us on the tour because another group had to cancel last minute, which ended up making the experience feel even more personal and special. CK was incredibly attentive, engaging, and knowledgeable. He taught us so much about Sedona’s landscape, geology, and history, and you could genuinely tell how much he loves Sedona and what he does. He made the experience feel personal, meaningful, and moving while still being so much fun! Avery was a great guide and extremely knowledgeable! Our ride on Schnebly Hill Road was BUMPY…so be prepared! Majority of ride was off road but great views and a perfect spot to stop and take photos. Highly recommend!

GREAT fun! Just bumpy enough going up the road to the top of Schnebly Hill where we saw a variety of natural trees, cacti and best of all ROCK FORMATIONS!!! Our tour guide, Avery, was great - funny and educational. There were only 6 of us on the tour. We went about 10:00 before it got too hot outside. The length of the tour was perfect - not too long and not too short. Reasonable cost for the adventure that we received! I would highly recommend this tour.

This was our second tour with this company. We did the outlaw tour last year and this year we did the rugged rim trail tour year. Doc was our tour guide and he was super knowledgeable fun and safe. We actually went during a thunderstorm and so glad we didn'tcancel we got to see Sedona and the red rocks and a whole different way. I would highly recommend this jeep company if you're doing a tour they are local and really care about the quality of Tour you're going to get.

Our driver/narrator, Brad, was fantastic! His historical knowledge was astounding & added to the enjoyment of the beauty surrounding us. The ride was quite bumpy, as advertised, but my 77 year-old body had absolutely no negative problems. Highly recommended, especially if you're fortunate enough to get Brad as your driver.

Super fun with special views of Sedona

Outstanding 4x4 experience bouncing around all the way up and down Schnebly Hill! The seatbelts were necessary! Glad I don’t (directly) pay the bill for vehicle repairs…no issues. Lots of movie scenes, old wagon trails, and incredible scenery!

Our original tour trail was closed due to the fires and the staff was very accommodating. Our guide was CK (Chris) and they don’t get any better! He was very accommodating and remembered all of our names. Highly recommend asking for him!

Our guide David was great. He handled the vehicle very well. It was Bumpy, but really fun ride. And he had a good deal of knowledge about the area. It was a fun morning and so cool getting up close to the mountains and hearing about their history.

Our family of four had a blast with our guide, Avery, who took us on the ‘wild’ Rim ride way up in a canyon. So knowledgeable about the history of Sedona, including its people, the formations and names, plants and geology. Definitely 2.5 hours that couldn’t be better spent. Very happy not to have a breakdown as some other tour companies did, so Arizona Safari Jeep Tours certainly deserve their five ⭐️ ratings! Book with them now, you won’t regret it!

It is very informative and also beautiful. Anders, our tour guide was fantastic!! It is bumpy but I have neck issues and it was not a problem.

Fabulous 2 hour excursion in a long axle Jeep up the country side for fabulous views. My 2 sons, ages 23 and 27 enjoyed as well. Our guide JC was very knowledgeable and shared the history of the area as it pertained to the geography and info on the native wildlife. Most of the tour is in the Jeep, but you get out midway to take a short hike up for scenic views. An excellent introduction to Sedona
