We had a great experience with the kayak rentals! The check-in process was quick and easy. The staff were friendly and helpful with getting us set up and explaining everything before we departed. Once we were out on the water, we had plenty of time to explore and enjoy the scenery at our own pace. We never felt rushed or like we had to constantly watch the clock, which made the experience relaxing and immersive. It was a beautiful way to spend a few hours, and we felt like we had more than enough time to see the area and got everything we could’ve hoped for out of the experience. I would definitely recommend it to anyone who likes to adventure at their own pace or appreciates having flexible pickup times.

My girlfriend and I did the Same Day Exclusive Kayak Rental on Lake Powell and absolutely loved the experience. Everything was very well organized from start to finish. Communication with the team was excellent throughout. They were responsive, helpful, and made sure we had all the important information beforehand. When we arrived, they clearly explained everything we needed to know, including the best spots to visit and practical tips for the day. The whole experience was smooth, easy, and extremely enjoyable, and Lake Powell itself was incredible to explore by kayak. We would definitely do it again and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great way to experience Lake Powell
Very poorly managed. No greeting from excursion crew. Crew sat in a trailer waiting for us to find them. No assistance provided with kayaks. Expected guests to haul kayaks up a steep rocky incline upon end of excursion. Other groups were not being treated this way.
Self guided kayak excursion across Lake Powell and up through water antelope canyon. Experts told us the route typically takes 90mins each way, but as we were a bit quicker we had time to explore the rest of the canyon on foot. Surroundings are stunning and felt like a one of a kind way of experiencing the environment! Only warning is you will need to carry the kayak up and down a steep hill to and from the water, though they will help if you are struggling! Well worth the effort though!
Overall it was a good experience, just be prepared to have the staff tell you to carry your own heavy kayak down a very steep and sandy road and back up again at the end. We were not prepared for this and only had flip flops so we had a pretty difficult time carrying the kayak.
It is an awesome experience for the price. Fun time kayaking, we were able to rent all day and get to see the super cool antelope canyons as a result. I would recommend having some experience kayaking as the wake can be large traveling through the boating area. My only reservation about the experience was that they had rented majority of the solo kayaks by the time we arrived, although our booking was for solo kayaks. Nevertheless, they pulled some strings to get some for us which we appreciated. Friendly and good teaching staff.
Add to the cost- $30 to get to your launch point. There are about 7 different rental companies at the same place. Slightly unorganized. Incredibly steep walk to the water & back up. I would not call the kayaks “performance”. This was a rental only, no guide- we were given few instructions and sent on our way. The water itself was extremely choppy and the river/lake was very busy with boaters. We never made it to the canyon- got tired of fighting the kayak and waves from all the boats, turned around and came back! Not an enjoyable time at all! For the money, What does it include? - a well used life jacket, a paddle and a well used kayak! Good luck!
This was really easy to find. It was easy to contact the rental company and they were extremely helpful. The kayak trip was allegedly 2.5 miles from point A to point B, but my app I recorded showed around 3 and a half miles. It could have just been the way we paddled though. Regardless, this hike to the canyon was gorgeous and totally worth it. It wasn't too busy in the morning time and there were plenty of areas along the river to park the kayak and go for a quick swim. I recommend this to anyone looking for a fun activity in AZ. Also, I would say this is suitable for any level of fitness as the rental company allowed rental from 8am to 5pm. Plenty of time to paddle and explore the canyon and be back in time.
Highly recommend. The company was helpful, kayaks and gear were in good condition. Scenery is amazing. Note: Take the help getting the kayaks down to the water.
Great experience....self guided kayak to the the beach and plenty of time to hike the canyon and explore
Wyatt truly made this experience exceptional. From the start, he went above and beyond to make sure we felt comfortable, prepared, and confident before getting out on the water. His friendly attitude and attention to detail made a huge difference. The kayaks were in great condition, and the entire experience was an absolute blast. Everything felt smooth, safe, and well-organized. Thank you for such outstanding service and an incredibly fun, memorable day—we’ll definitely be back!
Great service. The kayaks are good & and the guys are very friendly. Everything was very smooth from booking to kayaking. The only one thing that should be improved is to ask the customer which kayak they would prefer - the flat ones or the ones where you sit inside. Because once they bring it down it is very difficult for them to go back up the hill & get another one. Rest everything was perfect !
Was a very nice experience. The 5 mile round kayak was a long way for the wife and daughter. Had I to do it again. Would have picked doubles so my son and I could help the two of them paddle. Wonderful experience overall.
We enjoyed our time on the water. Wyatt was friendly and helped us get situated with our kayaks. Only thing was the kayaks were clearly well used and not very fast - but that’s to be expected for a rental.
Great rental experience and staff at the put in/takeout point we’re very helpful and nice!
We had the best experience doing the self guided kayak trip into Antelope Canyon. We travel with our dog, so this was the only way for us to experience that with him, but honestly it was the best experience as it was without large groups of people. The weather was beautiful, the guys that got us going were knowledgeable, helpful and provided us with the information to enjoy this remarkable place on our own time table. It was a manageable paddle in and out, and we could hike for as long as wanted. I would do this again without hesitation and recommend anyone who loves self guided trips to look into this.
Awesome! Vince and Rick were great!
We had an amazing time kayaking Lake Powell! Antelope Kayak tours made the experience super stress-free; getting down to the lake was a bit steep, and our guide helped us get the kayaks up and down the hill with no problem. He was very communicative leading up to our rental time, ensuring that getting to our meeting spot was an easy process. The lake itself was otherworldly. Hands down the coolest kayaking spot I have ever been to, and the launch point offers easy access into the most amazing canyon which is only accessible by kayak. Would absolutely recommend this experience to anyone staying in page or passing though.
A really awesome experience for family. We rent a kayak suitable for two adults and 1 kid. The direction is easy, starting with kayak for 2 to 2.5miles and trekking for an hour to witness the water antelope canyon. The kayak journey is so beautiful.
Its was so much fun, and great views. Its very insteresting story and Rich guide us, and he was so kind and helpfull. Its really a thing to do, in Page. 10/10
First, our guide Rich was wonderful. He was patient, pleasant, polite and very knowledgeable. The kayaking was so fun. The landscape was beautiful. The hike was amazing.
We rented Kayaks from Antelope Kayak and we had a wonderful time. It was 5 miles kayaking total and we only hiked about 1.5 miles into the canyon so total 3 mile hike. We could have gone a a little longer but we had our 6 year old with us. We packed sandwiches and lunch stuff and ate on the kayaks which was like having the most picturesque lunch on the lake. We had a great time and we started out at 10am and ended at 3pm. Fun was had by all! The people from Antelope Kayak were awesome and friendly and luckily we only had to take our kayaks down to the lake or the hike up would have been tough with a kayak. I highly recommend. Also, you will have to pay $30 per car to get down to the boat launch, that is the fee to be on reservation land and yes they do take credit card. Otherwise you only have to pay for the kayak rental.
We found the meeting place easily. You need to wear good shoes because you have to carry the kayak down to the water's edge via an unpaved path and then carry it back up - the kayak is heavy and it is difficult. The scenery is great and the kayak is very well maintained - Be careful, you need your park pass to access it, otherwise there is an extra charge.
Very nice kayak tour and canyon accessible only by kayak so super nice
Everything was perfect, from the logistics to the kindness of the activity leaders! We could not afford the grand tour of Antelope Canyon (for four people it is very expensive), but renting kayaks for the day is more than worth it, and we had an excellent day; we were able to swim to cool off and park the kayaks on a small beach to go for a short walk!
Excursion without exceptional guide! 1h kayaking on Lake Powell first thing (8.00)+ 1h hiking in the canyon then back. Alone in the world at this hour!!! Easy navigation, walking in +- sand. Renter by the hour and very friendly who gives all the necessary advice before leaving.
