Cowboy Bob was an excellent guide. Extremely knowledgeable and gave a great tour. We would highly recommend him.

I was very excited on this ride, I can see very nice view also specifically for the driver name Doc, he is soo nice, friendly, and give us alot of details.

We had an late afternoon tour and the low sun on the mountains was wonderful. It was chilly ( early March) and jeep had heaters, plus the guide (Delvin?) also brought blankets if anyone needed something extra. His knowledge of the area was great and informative.

We had a great tour! JC was our tour guide/driver he was very personable, accommodating and especially knowledgeable of the area. We can't for get a good photographer.

This is an extremely rugged ride, however, the views are phenomenal and our driver was very knowledgeable and personable. He took the time to make sure everyone was doing OK, stopped often to explain the history, pinpointing particular views and interesting facts about the plant life. He quickly picked up on each passenger's interests and melded them into the tour and conversation. One thing in particular about Safari Jeep Tours is both the check in staff and driver took the time to know your name and treated you as a guest rather than a number. I recommend you review all their tours to determine not only your sightseeing interests but the level of ruggedness you prefer.

What an incredible experience. John took us on the 8 a.m. rim run 3 hour tour. Sedona and it's beauty speaks for itself. The bumpy road definitely leads to paradise! John's knowledge, expertise and warm hearted friendliness definitely enhanced the experience. He taught us about plants, trees, weather, UFO's, geology, animals...you name it! Perfect.

John was our guide and was a wonderful driver over the bumpy roads and was a wealth of information about the area, the rock formations and history of the area. We got many amazing pictures. I would highly recommend this tour and John as a guide and would do this again or maybe take a different tour next time we are in Sedona.

Lea Epperson was our tour guide and she was amazing! This was definitely one of our favorite activities in Sedona. The ride was bumpy but worth it! The views were incredible and again Lea was a fun and knowledgeable tour guide! 10/10!

First time jeep tour. Why not go with the most rugged, off-road experience right? You only live once. We didn't know what to expect. But it was more than just following a trail of brightly pink-painted jeeps one might find in an assembly line in some factory. With Safari, we got everything you might expect and more. Special thanks to our guide, JC. Not only did he provide us with the basics on the Sedona area, but he engaged us in a geological history lesson of the area, the landscape, and formations that traveled back in time over the past 100 million years right through to the present. On top of that, he assisted us with his photography skills that made our tour of the Mogollon Rim a memory. We're coming back...and Safari WILL be our jeep tour of choice. And JC our guide! This was a blast. Our family has done a few of these in the past but now this one. It was so much fun. It was bumpy but not overly. It was speedy at times but not scary. Lots of great views. Loved getting off and walking around, standing on the edges of rocks and just taking in the sights. Our tour guide Wyatt was funny although not always accurate in his facts. He embellished a bit, but it made for a good story. Very fun. Our 79 year mother/grandmother even did it and she felt it was safe, fun and not too bumpy.

8 of us were in Sedona to celebrate a 50th birthday. We took the two-hour Mogollon Rim off-road tour. Joe took us on a thrill ride and was full of fascinating historical, cultural and ecological information. We went to an amazing spot at the top of Merry Go Round Rock for a vortex experience, topped off by an incredible photo op. I highly recommend this experience and be sure to request Joe!

Our guide, Lea, made the trip. She was fun, informative, a great driver, and really made the experience. She made sure we were in the best place for sunset. The scenery was great. Be advised, Schnebly road is SUPER BUMPY--it was a lot of fun, but I won't need to do it again any time soon. It was a really fun adventure and I'm really glad to have done with with such a skilled driver. BTW, although the ride is bumpier in the back of the jeep, the view is better than in the front.

Lea took us out on the funnest, fastest, bumpiest ride, which is what we were looking for!!! It was amazing to laugh and scream and have a good time!

Had an amazing morning with Doc as our guide. Scenery was amazing and Doc was a wealth of knowledge…it was Doc’s insights and tidbits that really added to the trip. Doc coaxed the Jeep along some pretty rough terrain and we did get jostled around but that was that’s what we signed up for! A couple of times we pulled over as Doc explained the significance of certain things and / or to take a few pictures and one stop halfway to take many more pictures with Doc acting as photographer! Such a great trip, would not hesitate to book another.

This is a 3 hour tour up to 7000 feet! Our guide Bo was great. He gave us history and made us laugh while traveling up a very rocky road. You must wear a seat belt as you are bounced around alot while driving. The beauty that you experience makes you not care about the bumpy rude. It is breathtaking! We had stops so we could the pictures and Bo explained different plants and history of this gorgeous place

This was a highlight of our trip! It was so beautiful and yes bumpy too but we really enjoyed driving through the canyon up to the rim for sunset! Incredible!! Request Bob! We were told in advance that this was a very bumpy jeep tour. They were Correct!! It was the most exciting, gorgeous, and FUN off-road tour ever!!! We had CK as our tour guide and were Very Happy with him. He was informative, assisted in taking pictures, and had a great sense of humor. It was a pleasure to take this tour with him.

Our jeep tour was amazing! Don, our driver, was top notch. He knew all about the history of Sedona and gave us a very thorough tour. He knew all the hot spots for photos and was our personal photographer. He engaged with us on the entire tour and he made it fun on our bumpy ride. Although we were scheduled for the 2 hour tour, he took us farther & it ended up being a 3 hour tour. The Safari Tours are well worth the money and are significantly cheaper than the other pink tours. I highly suggest you schedule your tour with Safari Tours. You will not be disappointed!

#1 recommended activity in Sedona, in my opinion!! This company & team is a top notch gem - worth every single penny, they truly care about guest experience and safety. We had Joe as our guide, during a rainy day - they took care to explain our options due to unusual weather and they gave us a discount without us even asking, after they recommended we do a shorter tour due to the rain/cloud cover. However, the biggest win, was the willingness of them to coordinate with my boyfriend, now fiance, who proposed to me on a scenic stop along the drive. It was such a wonderful experience to learn more about Sedona and the landscape, have great views, and then this once in a lifetime experience all in one! We felt truly valued as tourists and Joe was excited to share his knowledge and conversation. Also, the vehicles they use are the highest quality and safest in town which is quite obvious comparing them to the jeeps other companies use. In addition, it's locally owned! After more than a year of shutdowns, its great knowing my money is going to local people instead of a national brand. Would absolutely book them again and again.

Great experience made greater by our guide Joe. Fun and educational. Three couples, all friends for 30 years and in our 60s-70. One lone couple in their 30s joined in the fun. Next time we will take a different tour and ask for Joe.

Lea was our guide . She did amazing and was very informative. She was so sweet & we loved her . We did not carry any cash , so we weren’t able to tip Lea . But we will be going back soon and we will take her a tip . Make sure to take cash and tip your driver.

Our tour guide Wyatt, a real Sedona local, made this experience very informational and highly humorous. The ride from the tour office to the Mogollon Rim was filled with great insights about the neighborhoods we crossed, with intriguing restaurant reviews plus knowing that the karaoke host at the Olde Town Sedona Grill is Wyatt's third grade teacher was super hilarious. Tour guides who deliver history and information with a light touch always make it more entertaining. The jeep ride, as expected, was so fun, and no surprise--the Mogollon Rim was gorgeous! Also-very important to note-using this company supports local business (vs gigantic corporation competitor). Support local business!

Our guide, Joe, was the absolute best!!! He had so much knowledge and went out of his was to accommodate our need to take photos (we had a photographer on board). He was funny, engaging and truly a blast to spend a couple hours with. The vehicle was very clean and new. Top notch suspension on our jeep!!! We debated on what company to use for our tour and after several referrals to Safari Jeep Tours we are so glad we went with them. You will not be disappointed! Great company … awesome tour!! We participated in two activities with Safari Jeep Tours in Sedona: a jeep tour and rented a RZR off-road vehicle. Both experiences were awesome! All of the staff were very helpful and friendly. The equipment was well maintained. We felt safe the entire time and we had plenty of information to know exactly where to go and what to do. Our guide on the jeep tour, Doc, was excellent. He was very knowledgeable and we could tell that he was really into his job. His information didn't seem "canned" at all and he answered our questions about the area, plants, animals, and history. We are coming back and we are going to do another jeep tour with Safari Jeep Tours and requesting Doc as our guide!

This 2 hour tour ,"Mogollon Rim Run", was perfect for us! We went in the first run of the morning. The trail was a bumpy ride, but it did not feel like it was rough and felt very safe! Our guide/driver, Doc, handled the terrain nicely, slow and easy. Doc, made us feel very comfortable. He was very knowledgeable about the area and the history of the trail as well as the vegetation. It is obvious that he is passionate about what he does and the appreciation he has for nature! The scenery was breathtaking! At the end of the trail we were able to get out for a bit and hike up to some rocks and get some stunning pictures of the valley. Doc made sure that we all got the photos we wanted!

Rob, our driver and guide was very knowledgeable about the region, an excellent off-road driver and very entertaining. We had a wonderful , exciting tour!

We took the early morning tour with Charlie who was an excellent guide. Very knowledgeable about the terrain and area offering historic and scientific information that accentuated the natural beauty. Charlie kept the tour engaged and entertained for the entire ride. Will be back for other tours when in Sedona. Shop local!

Our tour guide was amazing! Her name was Lea and she was extremely knowledgeable about the area and geology and wildlife and Evan gave us information about the vortex in Sedona even though that was not included in our tour. Fabulous sunset views!! Was highly recommend this tour company. The ride was rough but it is supposed to be a Jeep mountain ride. No problem with that. Would not recommend if you have neck or back problems though.

Definitely rough/bumpy as warned but awesome! Learned so much from our guide, Doc, about the jeeps/the Safari company, safety, trail etiquette, flora, fauna and, of course, the red rocks! Doc took great photos and we left with a dinner and a lunch recommendation, too! Would do a Jeep tour again with Safari!
