Great jeep tour with the Blue Jeep. Our guide was Don. He asked where we had been and proceeded to take us to places we hadn’t been. Our on road adventure became an off road amazing adventure. We learned about the geology of Sedona as well as experienced the vortexes. Went to Mystic Falls with an outstanding view of the Valley. Really appreciated his ability to be flexible, making it a unique adventure for us. Highly recommend them.

Donnie was amazing! He’s got quite a few feathers in his cap. Not only was he our very knowledgeable tour guide, but also our personal photographer! He gave us great recommendations for places to eat. Thank you Donnie, you made this tour something we’ll never forget. This was by far the best way to spend my 30th birthday!
We had a BLAST! We were able to see the most beautiful rock formations, name our own rock (Falkor, the luck dragon) and enjoy a bit of history too. We will be back to State Route 89 Aye, in Sedona Az.
The experience was excellent. Bo, our guide was very knowledgeable, courteous and funny. We visited unique locations within the Sedona area and had a great time.
We did a Vortex tour that was spectacular! Our guide Nicola was amazing! Highly recommend for those that don’t want to be jostled around too much. We stayed on pavement but were able to take a stunning walk. Perfect for seniors and people with sensitive backs.
Chris was a wealth of information! Enjoyed learning about Sedona with him.
We vacillated between the big "corporate national tour company" and Red Rock Western Jeep Tours and chose Red Rock Jeep Tours. We are DELIGHTED with our experience with Chris the tour guide. He listened carefully about what we wanted to experience and designed the best tour ever. Chris is a "naturalist scholar!" From plant life, to magnetic fields, to history of the red rocks to teaching us about finding the vortex, experiencing it and appreciating the moment...we are beyond delighted and better for this trip into the red rocks and vortex. Do not hesitate to schedule your trip with Red Rock Western Jeep Tours and Chris if you can get him!!!
Everyone there from Front Desk to driver very friendly, asking questions to help tailor the tour to my particular interests. Rad a good driver and had lots of interesting g comments comments sharing stories & backstory on unique & beautiful Sedona landscape
We did the Broken Arrow combo tour. Our driver was David and he was the perfect man for his job. He was knowlegeable and personable. The trip was bouncy but that is to be expected with an off road jeep tour. My wife and I are both in out 70's and had no issues from the ride. The highlight of the tour was Chicken Point Overlook with spectacular views. While there be sure to ask the driver to point out where cyclists "ride the line". The trip it not inexpensive but it will definitely keep you entertained and give you a chance to see areas where asphalt does not exist.
We visited Sedona for 2 days in Sept 2025. We wanted to see as many Sedona highlights as possible, without spending too many hours on a tour. We chose this tour, as it was private- just the 3 of us, just 2 hours long, and a gentle ride. We had gorgeous weather, and an awesome guide, Chris R.!! Chris is a local and has so much knowledge of the area. He shared lots of stories and information with us! The views were amazing! I highly recommend this tour- thank you Chris!
Fun lots of information plants area Driver Chris was great. Jeep broke down but not a big deal. Got picked up
The Red Rock Western Jeep Tour was awesome for our first time in beautiful Sedona. It was a private tour, where we met at the tour office and our guide greeted us. The vehicle was an older model, Jeep, and the ride was comfortable, not too bumpy at all. Our tour included stops at the Chapel of the Holy Cross, a vortex point, Cathedral Rock, and more, and, of course, included the history of the town and its landmarks. Our tour guide, Brad, was insightful, engaging, respectful, and had "rim-shot" jokes here and there, which I have to admit, I enjoyed; also he spaces out time between taking in the sights and then giving its history, not talking too much or being too silent. He may also have a history question for you. Why he calls the 89A a Canadian Hwy...well you can answer that one yourself when you go on the tour. - Dee
If you are looking for a private tour of Sedona this is the one. Jeff was our guide and he as very knowledgeable and friendly. An easy 2 hour tour to get to know Sedona.
We had an amazing experience seeing Sedona this way. Our tour guide, Harry, was so knowledgeable about the area and answered all of our questions. He took all the time we needed to see everything and take all the pics we wanted! We learned so much and would definitely book another tour.
If I could rate our experience 10 stars I would! This private tour was hands down an unforgettable experience for my husband dnd I with our tour guide Fire Fox. He was very knowledgeable with the geology and history of Sedona as well as the spiritual aspect of the significance of the Vortexes. Fire Fox being of Indian Descent channeled his spiritual practices and energy through his drumming and card reading. I highly recommend if this is an experience you are seeking.
We didn’t cover the stops specified in the tour we signed up for and when I asked about that stop I was told by our guide/ driver they weren’t familiar with that stop. They were also not very knowledgeable on the key sights to point out. It was more of a drive with a few stops and random facts then what we expected.
I was really hesitant to go, ok I was forced! So glad I went, was really good and our guide was awesome. Will for sure go again if in the area. Highly recommend! Mystic Earth is the tor we did.
Jeff at Sedona Jeep Tours was the best guide! He knew so much about the area and shared interesting tidbits as well as historical information. The weather was rainy and cold and Jeff had ponchos for us so we did not get wet. Make sure you dress for the weather-this is an open jeep, no windows, and you may be up in the mountains or going fast in some areas. We saw so much in our few hours! We got to take pictures and got out to explore in some areas. I highly recommend requesting Jeff if you go on one of these tours and you definitely should go! Great overall experience in Sedona.
This tour was exceptional and we would go again to a different part of the area. Although the beauty of the area is impossible to describe or show in photos, what made our tour special was the knowledge of Nick our tour guide/driver.
We had an exceptionally positive experience and were thoroughly satisfied with the outcome. I highly recommend this to everyone.
Billy the Adult was fantastic! Billy is a Great driver. He is so much fun with a wealth of knowledge about the area and life. We had a great time!
My wife and I took this jeep tour with our two grandkids ages 6 and 8 and they absolutely loved it. Bryan was our tour guide and he was very good at telling us about the history of Sedona. He was also very good with our grandkids asking them if they want easy or rough rides. We would definitely use them again!
What a blast. It was a totally awesome ride. Tim was our driver very knowledgeable man and a lot of fun it was a great experience and I highly recommend them and ask for Tim you won’t regret it
This was one of the most amazing excursions that we took on this mini-vacation. Cowboy Tim our guide was both informative and funny. Thanks guys for a great time. I would definitely recommend your service.
Tim was an incredible tour guide! Not only was he knowledgable of the the surroundings, wilderness, and landscape, he took his time explaining votex energy with us. He showed us the mangled tree and even conducted a demonstration with us using a pendulum. It was truly remarkable! He was patient, thorough, and kept us safe during the entire excursion of exploration! Highly, highly recommend!!
This was our first time visiting Sedona and I decided a Jeep tour would be the best way to see some sights. All of the tours offered were private tours due to covid. The tours were also deeply discounted, which was another bonus. We were not worried at all about taking this tour because we would be outdoors, in fresh air, only our family(plus the guide). An additional plus was that we were able to bring our golden retriever with us. Our guide, Piper, was very knowledgeable and friendly. Piper showed us some amazing sights and gave us some great photo opportunities of the red rocks. I would definitely take another tour with red rock tours. I highly recommend them.
The guide, Tim, was wonderful. We have two boys, and this was a highlight for them. Tim loves the area and it showed. Thanks!
It was the perfect introduction to our visit. Picked up at our hotel in a comfortable SUV, we were taken to all the basic places with historic background information. After the tour we knew how to plan the rest of our visit.
Awesome. Big Mac was our tour guide. Very interesting and informative. He took us to lots of points of interest and was very knowledgeable of the history and surroundings.
Thanks Tim! You made our first experience visiting Sedona one we will always remember! Thanks for all your knowledge and for for the great time!! Really appreciated the time you took with the vortex demonstration and great picture opportunities! Thanks again!!
Thanks Tim! Took us to at least 5 spots, driver took pictures for us that turned out great. The ride itself around town was fun but cold in January, dress warm!
Hang on, I forget who our driver/guide was but he was very friendly and informative gave us plenty of time to take plenty of pictures.
This tour served our purpose of briefly introducing us to various scenic spots in and around Sedona so that we could choose which places we wanted to spend additional time. Our driver was awesome and well versed in the history of the area.
A very good trip as an opener on the first morning to get our bearings in the Sedona district and see the famous sites. We probably picked and got caught out on the coldest morning of the year (30th October '19) but Sid had brought blankets for us and was very helpful, informative and attentive - very much appreciated - he was dressed like Scott of the Antarctic and we were in ordinary clothes!
We had the "Panoramic" from Red Rock Western Jeep Tours. Our guide/driver, Zane, was well prepared, pleasant, & informative, providing interesting commentary on flora & fauna & geologic formations, and ample information on Sedona, including the origins of its name. We had no complaints regarding Zane; he just did not have that much interesting substance with which to work, as Sedona itself is not that important historically or culturally. We enjoyed some of the drive in the rough terrain around Sedona, though there were times when it was too rough & jarring to the point of being unpleasant. The experience was okay -- it just seemed a bit overpriced at $159 + tip [though that seems to be the going rate & no one twisted our arm].
We very much enjoyed our tour. Zane, our guide and driver, is extremely knowledgeable about Sedona and the surrounding environment. He pointed out and shared stories about the rock formations, hiking trails, the town of Sedona, etc. It was a great experience and I would recommend it to everyone!
Our driver was a down to earth knowledgeable and fun guy, an asset to Red Rock Tours, we all enjoyed the experience, how the Jeep took the punishment day after day we will never know, must do it again.
My first time in Sedona started off great. The driver was informative and his jokes fit with the natural beauty surrounding us. Will be back
This is ideal for older people, non-athletic people, or anyone who wants to get close enough to appreciate the incredible landscape of Sedona without having to hike in the extreme heat. Our guide brought us to some awesome spots with incredible views. The drive was smoothe and we learned a lot about Sedona. They kindly provide water.
Saw a lot of beautiful red rocks, but not the specific one we wanted to see, which is Cathedral Rock. A little disappointed.
Went with family to sight see. This was a wonderful experience and we learned a lot from the guide about the surrounding area! Very fun! Bumpy, but very fun ;) Fairly accessible as well if you sit in the front seat of the jeep.
This tour was not at all what I expected for the money we paid. The driver did take us to a few scenic places but because of the traffic we were not able to stop and take pictures. We could not hear what the driver was saying because of the wind and loud Jeep. This should have been a $20 tour instead of $54.
Only saw two highlights. Would not recommend Was very disappointed that so so little. I would try a different company
Although we were driving to Sedona, we booked this tour so my husband could appreciate the scenery around safely. It was such a great tour of the breathtaking views. The driver/guide was informative and the other 3 tourists with us in the Jeep tour were a hoot! After we had an overview of the place, my husband and I drove back later in the day to appreciate and experience the sceneries more. I highly recommend this tour!
Great personal views and stories of Sedona and all its beautiful sites. Jim is funny and a fantastic story teller, you are in for a treat! Sedona is his home and he will make you feel right at home.
This tour definitely gives you an overview of the area. Our guide, Sid, was knowledgeable. The kids loved the open Jeep. The seats were supposedly heated but we didn’t feel it - we were pretty cold. We got some good history of the area and Sid was able to handle all the questions. I was disappointed in the cathedral rock portion - it was pointed out as we were leaving and I’m not sure I knew what rock he was directing us to. Seemed like an afterthought but our tour did start 15 minutes late so we may have run out of time. Strangely, we spent time driving through the open air art shopping area (like, thought the parking lot and around stores).
We chose the "easy on the asphalt" tour but wish we would've chosen a tour that got us a little closer to the beauty of the red rocks. The open air jeep was a bit worn but was comfortable enough. It was supposed to be a 90 minute tour but was 60 minutes at the most. Our driver put more emphasis on jokes than the scenery.
Was hoping to get more information about the rocks and the names. What we got was here’s the only McDonalds with green arches, here’s the Safeway. We stopped at 2 points for picture. Both were terrible stops. Save your money buy a book about the formations and enjoy it in your car.
The tour is interesting but we never got out of the jeep. Its a quick overview of the city and the sites maybe good if you want to come back and visit the others in detail. While the driver does pull off the side of the road, you take any photos from inside the jeep which is not great for setting up shots. we did not "Take a short walk to the overlook spot" and its was certainly not "A “Sedona snapshot” with great photo opportunities". It was also pretty crowded in the jeep. Hard to crawl over people if you want a photo out of the wrong side.
My family and I loved being on this tour with our driver/guide, Mike. He was very informative, witty, and courteous about taking us to all the well known mountains and formations. This was not a rugged tour, but a nice spectating tour! Highly recommend this for anyone!!
