Before I started my review, I reread the descriptions for both the Stargazing tour and the other night tours. I had read the Outer Dimensions description and wasn't really interested in all the lore, which is why I chose the Stargazing Tour - which promised history, flora & fauna, and beautiful rock formations. We did get some history, mostly focused on lore of the vortices. He did ask us if we were interested in some of that kind of information, and the 4 of us said sure. Then he proceeded to talk, nonstop, for the duration of the tour about the paranormal, supernatural, conspiracies surrounding the area. Our guide was Neil (aka White Wolf). He was friendly and personable, but consumed and obsessed with the alien/vortex/skinwalker/energy lore (conspiracy). He seemed like a nice guy and him and I had some interesting conversations. But during that time I thought of family and friends and what kind of reaction they would have had - very negative I'm sure. I can't honestly think of any genuine fauna info. One brief mention of the flora in a flower that will kill you if you don't prepare it properly. He mentioned things about the rock formations, but it was dark (we started 20 minutes late) so it was impossible to see anything. I feel like they should just offer the Outer Dimensions type tours, if that's the specialty of their guides. We specifically avoided that tour, but we got it anyway. When we finally reached the site, the sky was beautiful, but there was no knowledge of it. He pointed out the Big Dipper and that's it. All the other talk was the satellites weren't satellites. Very little talk about the sky. It was about the Bradford Ranch, and paranormal experiences he has had. We signed up for a Skygazing Tour. I'm grateful that we had a decent view before the clouds rolled in (but we probably could have done this on our own). We didn't really need a tour "guide" for this tour. Having said this, we got to do an echo in the canyon with one other group on the way back which was AMAZING! It probably make the experience worthwhile. Given the description of the tour at that price point, I'd say our expectations were not met. If your interest and focus is on the night sky - this is not the tour for you. This isn't necessarily a negative review, it's more to bring transparency. If these are the tours your guides want to give, then sell them that way. We were looking for something more focused on astronomy - someone to point out the Milky Way, the constellations, planets, local wildlife, what plants are we smelling, what gets made/harvested from the local plant life ... and I don't think this is unrealistic according to the tour description. It's not what we booked and it isn't what we got. I would *carefully* recommend this tour.

Maverick was a fantastic driver...knowledgeable and safe. The road was bumpy, as would be expected on an off-road tour. The views were incredible and we were fortunate to book on the night of a lunar eclipse. Maverick used a star mapping to to help us know what we were seeing.
Great experience! Guide was amazing. Very knowledgeable of the area and stars. A wonderful way to spend a hot night.
We did the stargazing tour with Chris R on May 26 and it was great. He had so much knowledge of the area, he was funny and made the trip very fun. My wife, kids, and I had a wonderful time and we highly recommend this tour and Chris R.
We had the best time on our jeep star tour. It was so cold but the jeep has heated seats (who knew!) and we bought blankets and hats and hand warmers. Nathan was a great guide - knowledgeable about all the things we were interested in and tolerated our bad jokes. The sky was clear and even with the moon shining brightly (and a 6pm tour), we still saw so much and it was worth the price. Advice: dress warmly. Double up on socks. Pick a night with no moon. Buy or bring hot hands and blankets. And hold on! :)
Honestly, we booked this tour to see the stars and to understand what we are looking at in the Arizona night sky. Included in our tour was private transportation out to an area to view the stars. I guess we got what we paid for. That is all we got. The guide was personable, kind, funny and eager to provide safe and comfortable transportation out of the city. He was dressed for the West in cowboy hat, jeans, boots and spurs. He had never heard of fireballs or space garbage - and we actually pointed out a fireball to him when we saw it. We also heard a pack of coyotes. We identified those to him as well. He did have a few entertaining personal stories to relay to us but they were devoid of stars, constellations or planets. So if you are looking for more information and not just transportation, you may want to check out other tour companies.
Maverick was a great guide! While we didn't get to see many stars due to the Super full moon, he made the trip memorable and fun! He provided us with a lot of interesting commentary about the area as well as made sure we were comfortable with the ride! We thoroughly enjoyed our adventure and Maverick!
Great views of stars, our guide (Chris) was fantastic- he had wonderful insights into the area, both wildlife and history. Milky Way is amazing from Sedona!
Jason was a great guide. He was very patient and had fun stories. I recommend this night sky experience. We had a "new moon" so the night was perfectly black and the stars were spectacular! Plan your trip when there is a "new moon."
Our guide was full of stories about the stars and astronomy. He took us to a place with a dark sky and the show was amazing ! I highly recommend doing this trip. And a big thanks to Maverick for this wonderful moment !
My friend and I did 2 private tours, Stargazing and Inner Journey. Our guide was Harry on both days. He was full of energy and information. He spent time explaining things and also making sure he understood what we were looking for on our tour. I would recommend both of these tours.
The tour was more than I hoped for. Our guide Ethan was knowledgeable, personable and caring. I highly recommend the trip.
Our guid was great very nice a knowledgeable. But the whole trip is not worth the price. I would not recommend this trip for the reason.
Our guide Kym (Salt) was very knowledgeable and a lot of fun!! I’m sorry I didn’t get to experience this tour, but my teenager and husband enjoyed it.
This dark sky tour was perfect for our family. Our tour guide, Daniel, personalized the experience for us and interpreted what we were seeing along with the history of the area very well. Our 14 year old son was captivated and Daniel was very engaging with him. I highly recommend this experience for families.
