Our Jeep tour through the Coconino National Forest in Sedona was a true highlight of our trip. The scenery was absolutely breathtaking, with incredible red rock formations, beautiful forest landscapes, and stunning views around every turn. What made the experience exceptional was our guide, Niko. Both a teacher and citizen scientist, Niko brought a unique combination of knowledge, enthusiasm, and storytelling to the tour. She explained the geology, ecology, and history of the area in a way that was both fascinating and easy to understand. Her passion for Sedona and the natural environment was evident throughout the entire experience. Niko was also an excellent driver, navigating the rugged terrain with confidence while making sure everyone felt comfortable and safe. She took time to answer questions, pointed out interesting features we would have otherwise missed, and shared insights that made us appreciate the landscape on a much deeper level! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Christopher was terrific inspire of the poor weather. He led us on an amazing tour and we experienced some incredible vibes.
Our family went on a Red Rock Western Jeep Tour with Gene as our tour guide. The company and Gene were phenomenal, easy to work with and made the excursion fun. Gene was full of fun facts and was super interesting. As a note: it's a dusty tour so I would wear clothes and shoes you don't mind getting dirty. You just can't help it as dust kicks up while driving. Bring sunscreen, water and your camera. I would highly recommend this company and thank you Gene for the wonderful afternoon!
We met at the location for our Jeep tour i was happy to see we were the only ones signed up for this tour, yay private tour! Donnie was our guide and he took us on a very fun bumpy ride out on a dirt road that could only be accessed with a large truck/ raised vehicle. He stopped all along the way to take pics, tell us about the area and plants. We really enjoyed it, bouncing around in the back, the beautiful scenery! We came to a point got out to a bunch of pics, then headed back to another area for more scenic views and pics! We were out there about 2 hrs and enjoyed it alot!
Booked our girls trip tour over the phone with David, who also honored the Groupon price! Our tour with Bo was fantastic! He is so knowledgeable and gave us so much information and spent extra time with us! We all got some beautiful pictures and would definitely recommend this tour with Bo!
Absolutely beautiful tour. Our driver Niko was very good and very informative.
Wyatt was awesome! I would definitely recommend this tour with him. He was very informative and kept us entertained the entire time. My 8 yr old wants to come back next year and do the tour with him again!
Such a wonderful experience. Jeff was our tour guide and answered all our questions and shared interesting information during our tour. I would highly recommend!
Excellent tour, Doc was an excellent driver and narrator for the tour. He provided lots of information and color. Would highly recommend this tour.
We had an incredible experience on our jeep tour with Jake as our guide. From the start, he brought great energy and made us feel comfortable and taken care of. His knowledge of the area was truly outstanding - he didn’t just point things out, he brought the landscape to life with stories about the history, geology, and local ecosystem that made everything more meaningful. One of the highlights was the unexpected wildlife sightings; we even saw a bobcat and a tarantula, and Jake calmly and respectfully helped the tarantula safely across the road. It was a perfect example of how attentive and knowledgeable he is about the environment. Overall, Jake went above and beyond and turned a great tour into an unforgettable one. I would absolutely recommend this tour to anyone wanting a memorable and authentic experience in the area. We will be back again!
Loved it! Private Jeep tour for just the two of us! Our guide Harry was the best! Hat! Spurs! Personality! He has it all! So much fun! The views were spectacular! Highly recommend!
We had a wonderful experience, Jeff took us on a wonderful adventure. Was very informative and interacted with us like was one of the family. Would love to come back and do another tour with Jeff. Thank you for the great family experience.
Alexander was an excellent host and driver. He kept us well entertained with both humor and in-depth knowledge of the area and how it was formed. I would highly recommend him.
This was well worth the price! Our tour guide Parky was wonderful and very knowledgeable. We would highly recommended this adventure!
On our honeymoon and we went on the private Mystical Earth Tour with Christopher, he was fantastic!! an awesome blend of energy, spirituality, geology, and history - highly recommend!!
The private off-road jeep tour for my husband and I was fantastic. Our driver, Jeff was very knowledgable about the terrain and the plant & wildlife! He answered all of our questions. It was bumpy and a little scarey at first but we learned to go with the bouncing of the jeep. It was a great tour and would definity recommend it!
Learned about the vegetation and wildlife of the area. Some history as well. Not to mention the beauty and the awe of the area.
We had a fantastic tour yesterday with Jeff! Highly recommend this tour!
You get bounced around and really do not see as much as we had hoped. Probably our fault for not reading in advance. We thought we would have more scenic views but instead just went up a river wash. Our guy did not give us much information on the surrounding rock formations.
Arizona Jones was A great guy, friendly, and knowledgeable about the history, terrain, plants and all things Sedona. He was full of fun facts, and also the ride itself had beautiful scenery and lots of off trail bumpy riding
We had a great time! Ghost was a very informative tour guide. A jeep tour is a great way to see Sedona.
Our family had a wonderful time on our jeep tour. We enjoyed the beautiful scenery and all that we learned about the area. Our guide Scott was so knowledgeable he taught us about local plants, rock formations and the vortex. We have 3 kids ages 13, 10 and 5 and they all loved the off road experience. Thank you for the fun and thank you Scott for a great tour!
It was beautiful scenery or guide Keith was very enjoyable and knowledgeable.
The tour guides are very friendly and knowledgable regarding the tour we had Andrew he was awesome and very entertaining Thanks Andrew
This Jeep tour was awsome! Our Guide "Ghost" was the best! He was so fun and he was full of Arizona history! Would highly recommend!
our guide was 10 minutes late for our tour. He did not have a headset/microphone so it was very difficult to hear him. The tour is very expensive, over $500. for what you get. We would not do the tour again.
We were visiting Sedona with my brother-in-law’s family and chose Red Rock Western Jeep Tours as one of our activities. It was a very busy morning when we arrived, but the operation was a well-oiled machine—welcoming, organized, and somehow managing the chaos with smiles. They got us parked and quickly assigned to our guides, Shawn and Ghost, since our group was split between two vehicles. The adults rode with Shawn, while the kids piled in with the colorful Ghost (Matt). The tour out to the Van Deren Cabin and back delivered plenty of bumpy thrills and some beautiful, photo-worthy vistas. But what really made the experience were the guides. Both were knowledgeable and genuinely kind, and Ghost went above and beyond to make sure the kids had an adventure they won’t soon forget. He was playful, engaging, and kept them smiling ear to ear the entire time. What more can you ask for? A great experience all around.
Wonderful trip with Sedona 4X4 Private Jeep tours. Service was excellent. Our guide Nathan did a fabulous job. He answered questions about how the mountains around Sedona were formed, about the landscape, local animals and plants and hopeful first settlers.
Our tour guide was amazing but the cost for 3 of us was outrageous for what you get. The views are beautiful but can be accessed on your own for way less than the $500 this cost us.
It was a fun and beautiful experience. It was a two hour ride and it was especially nice because it was so hot out and we would not be able to hike it. The ride is very bumpy so be prepared. Kids liked it! :) Our guide was great!
Make sure to engage your guide in conversation as interesting and entertaining information will be learned. Bring water bottles.
Great guide. Good to do before hiking the next day to get an overview of the area.
Don’t even consider the pink Jeep - this tour is absolutely amazing. Our guide Chris was a master of his craft, and it was clear that he loves sharing his knowledge and history of this sacred land.
The trip was awesome. The driver was professional and very informative. I would definately use their services again in the future.
What an unexpectedly fun adventure! I never knew a jeep could traverse creeks, mud ponds, rock formations, boulders, and such steep inclines. Our guide, Brad, was phenomenal and extremely warm-hearted. He shared generous Sedona history and insights, rich personal philosophy, and fascinating explanations re: local vegetation. He also executed a brilliant clone panorama action photo. Thank you, Brad!
Excellent guide Greg. Very knowledgeable and fun! Sunset was beautiful. Learned much about the area, the landscape and history of Sedona and surrounding area.
We didn’t really know what to expect, maybe just great views up close, it was beyond that, from booking to arriving the staff were so kind and helpful, and then the ride wow! Spectacular! Brad was our driver who was full of knowledge was able to answer every question and he was so much fun!
Carmine was a great guide and totally engaged with our experience. Very knowledgeable about the flora, fauna, and the natual history / geology of the area. He was a delite to talk with and full of stories. Had a wonderful day, wanted it to go on longer. Carmine is also a master at the controls of the jeep!
We had an excellent experience in Sedona with our very experienced and knowledgeable tour guide, Brad. He was very thorough and took the time to cover some of the historical highlights of our tour. The Jeep itself was as rough and rugged as you would imagine an off-road trip would be and it was able to handle the trail with ease. Great tour overall and highly recommended!
As part of a birthday celebration in Sedona, we booked a private jeep tour with Red Rock Western Jeep Tours. We were privileged to have Greg as our guide. He was very knowledgeable about the area, the history around the Van Deren cabin and the Red Rocks formations, and so much more. He was concerned about our tolerating the rough course and asked along the way if we were ok to continue which we were. He stopped and took several pictures of us at a scenic overlook to wrap up this adventure. We highly recommend this company, and especially Greg, for this memorable outing.
We had a great time, and our guide. Wyatt, was amazing! Not only was he funny and informative during our tour, he gave us a few restaurant recommendations that were spot on as well.
Our driver, Ralph, made the trip a wonderful experience. His knowledge of the rocks, history and plant life made for a well rounded educational 2 hours. Because of Ralph this was the highlight of our time in Sedona.
We had a fun and informative jeep tour. The scenery was beautiful. Our guide, Ralph, was fantastic. He was very knowledgeable and attentive. We had great conversations and learned a lot. Very lucky to have had Ralph as our guide.
Lee was an excellent guide on our tour. She was a great driver over tough terrain and very attentive to our interests as well as our desire for a safe trip. She shared her personal experiences in and local knowledge of the beautiful surroundings we toured. Sedona is magical and Lee helped us understand just how much!
We did the 2 hour west view tour with Mark. It included a cabin I had never seen before. Mark was fun and knew a ton. Went with my husband and it was our first jeep tour together. Personally I have been on a few Sedona jeep tours. Mark and I chatted about some of the history and stories. He is extremely knowledgeable about the local plant life and I found it so fascinating. Highly recommend.
This was the worst Jeep right of our life. The jeeps are very old bad suspension and not cut out for the rugged terrain. You will ruin your spine and brain on this ride. We had the driver turned around midway through because we couldn’t take it anymore. They need to update the jeeps desperately. We should’ve booked with pink Jeep Tours, as their jeeps are built for the ruggedness and you will not take a beating on your body.
A must do if you are in Sedona. We had so much fun even with the rain and wet trail. Once the rain stopped and the sun broke through the clouds, it was beautiful . Wyott our tour guide was great and fun.
Hi to everyone who is contemplating taking a Safari Jeep Tour. I went on the Outlaw Trail Tour with Cowboy Bob as our host. The trails out and back was about 3 hours. Our tour guide Bob's microphone and intercom went out about 3 miles from base camp. At first it was bothersome but Bob spoke loudly and we were able to hear him ok. As we got out to west Sedona, the trail went from dirt road to back country rough. Not too bumpy but we climbed some pretty rough back roads down the same trails as the old wagon trains and stage coaches took. Bob described in detail all of the robberies and Apache Indians that were the on the run to be tracked down by cavalry and law. It was very interesting to picture what it was like back in the 1800's for sure. We were retracing their steps. This is what we signed up for!. Very exciting and were amazed at the agility and what these well equipped jeeps could do. after they were put in 4 wheel drive. It was really interesting to hear all about the history about the whole area we drove through. Bob' knowledge was amazing. He stopped a time or two to get out and take in the beauty of the red rocks as I had not seen that aspect of that Sedona area before. Well worth going and even after the sun started to set, he turned on the heat and offered blankets to keep us warm as the it got chilly when the sun went down. Cowboy Bob's name fit him to a tee. He is the real Deal! Would do it all over again and an excellent value for what we paid. Tip him well as it was worth every nickel. We did not find any gold . Yes we did : The TRIP. Thanks Bob. See you out on the trail. Amazing scenery.
Our group of 8 had an unforgettable experience today on the vortex Jeep tour with Red Rock Western Jeep Tours. From start to finish it was powerful, moving, and absolutely fun. The scenery was jaw dropping, but what truly made it special were our guides. Both of them were named Nate, and we couldn’t have asked for a better duo. They didn’t just drive us through the red rocks. They helped us feel the energy of Sedona. Each stop gave us a chance to connect, reflect, and really take in the vortex experience. The ride was adventurous but comfortable, and the Nates had us laughing, learning, and occasionally a little awestruck. If you’re looking for something beyond sightseeing, something that feeds your spirit and bonds your group, this is it. We left with memories we’ll be talking about for a long time. Thank you Nate and Nate for guiding us through such an incredible journey.
Our driver Brad was excellent on explaining the topography. Very knowledgeable in describing the tree totes and foliage. Also had a humorous side and made the trip fun in that way. The ride was very, very bumpy and rough. The selling agent at the office probably should have emphasized this.
