Amazing! So fun to just be with our small group of 2 couples. Parkey, our guide/ driver was awesome. Not only did he navigate beautifully, give history and ecological lessons, he also gave us tips for the rest of our AZ trip! Price is great

Really bumpy and rough trail. Scenery was good. Richard was excellent guide (and photographer) pointing out names of the formations and explained a lot of what we saw as well as history of area.
The path was extremely rough though our driver did his best to navigate well . Destination was less than expected especially after the road travel to get there
Austin was our tour guide for our private 4 X4 tour up to the Colorado Plateau. As warned, the ride was very bumpy but fun. Austin stopped along the way to point out different formations, vegetation and other things along our route. At the turn around point we got out and saw the area from a Birds Eye view. Austin was very informative about the area, history, and the cities surrounding Sedona. He mentioned areas for us to explore that were less crowded to see beautiful sights. He even helped us with restaurant suggestions. A fun, bumpy ride tour.
Our driver went extremely slow which made the bumps even worse we didn’t get to go as far as everybody else that went on the tour because he drove so slow! Totally not worth the money… I am extremely disappointed with the amount of money that I paid for this trip. Considering I called because I got a flash flood warning alert on my way there which was very scary for me since I’m from Washington and we don’t get those! It was lightning out and I’m sorry but that is very dangerous to be taking people out when it’s lightning like that. Especially when you’re not an experienced driver and drive slow what if that lightning caused a fire we would’ve have been trapped up there.
Parky was an excellent guide, fantastic photographer, and wealth of information. The scenery and sunset were magical! This may be the best jeep tour we have had in Sedona!
What a great tour. We were originally scheduled for the Soldiers Pass tour but because of the fire we had to take an alternate route. Wyatt was our tour guide and did a fantastic job. He was full of insight and tales of Sedona which we all enjoyed. For some on the tour it was their first time and we were in awe of the beautiful landscape. Wyatt took some great pictures of our family during the tour and they are worthy of a family Xmas card. Thank you again Wyatt for a great trip. Can’t wait to go back and always book through Red Rock Jeep Tours.
Keith was our tour guide and was phenomenal. He was personable, friendly and sensitive to our needs. He was knowledgeable about the area and the history surrounding it. Truly a delightful experience!
Views are incredible! The ride is pretty treacherous and it was probably a bit too much for my aging parents but overall we enjoyed the experience.
Climb the Colorado plateau jeep tour is extremely bumpy and not for the faint hearted or have queasy stomach. Guide Raven was a blast and uniquely interesting!
Our guide Donnie was great! We had ages 8 to 48 on the tour and everyone enjoyed it!
This trip took us up into the canyon with gorgeous views and lots of interesting facts about Sedona. I highly recommend it. Carmine was a fabulous guide!
Great experience! Richard was a very knowledgeable and experienced tour guide. He is an amazing photographer as well and showed us some nice photography tr idk!
It was a great tour. Off road, bumpy ride, but great way to see the beautiful views. Our tour guys was awesome and very knowledgeable. Had a great time!
Ghost did a great job making the ride fun and educational. Our kids loved the stories!
Well worth it. Our tour guide Sean was really fun and informative. Views were amazing. I would book again for one of the alternate routes.
We had a great experience with Arizona Jones!
The sunset tour was awesome. Our guide was knowledge and we saw wildlife on the way down. Well worth the private tour we got to stop where and when we wanted.
Have a great time I hope you get Lee for your driver !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
It had only one stop and mostly driving. Scenic route is decent but only worth doing if this is first experience of Sedona trip as if you take multiple excursions then this will not appeal much. Given it is only ride and one stop I recommend doing atv drive yourself and not use tour guides.
Very uncomfortable 2 hour ride on very rough terrain. Was not like the other jeep tour where We went offroading at a fast pace with occasional rough terrain. Views were very beautiful but ride was too rough and was not enjoyable. Driver blamed the President for not improving the road which we did not appreciate. Review is to help others understand this tour is 2 hours of very uncomfortable ride with no relief. Versus the occasional fun offroad experience.
RALPH was amazing, immediately accessed our level of adventure and set out to give us the best on of our trip. He got us up to Merry Go Round Rock safely and provided so much insight along the way about the history, plant life and all the questions I asked got answered. He was a gold start guide, even giving us a tip on where to do our basic star gazing afterwards!
This 2 hour private tour is perfect! Just the right length and you get right up and close the red rock. The guides are amazing and you learn a ton while enjoying the breathtaking views. The ride is bumpy I doubt but hopefully you expect it if your looking at a jeep your! Don't think twice. It's a must do when in Sedona
We have traveled many places around the world often looking for tour experiences. Today we booked a last minute tour, without much expectation other fhan viewing the fabulous Sedona scenery. Our guide was superb, making this one of the best vacation experiences ever. Ghost was our guide, he was the key to this experience. He made us feel like we were vacationing with an old friend. We will definitely be back
We had an amazing time with our guide Ghost! What an incredibly knowledgeable man! He gave us the history of Sedona and of the mountains! He is so kind and charismatic to his passengers but to the people we encountered along the way. Stopping a family to give the little boy an arrowhead and talking to hikers along the ride. Ghost was more concerned about us having a great time, then keeping to a clock. I would highly recommend requesting Ghost be your tour guide!
True off road experience. Views were amazing and our tour guide Donny was very informative. Two hours was just right.
Alex was great! Very knowledgeable of the area and a great driver.Very pleasant to be around. Thank you!
It's a rough ride but so totally worth it! Our guide, Gene, was fantastic! He was very informative and entertaining.
Chris was a fun and informative guide. The views were spectacular and we thoroughly enjoyed our trip. The heated seats were a great bonus!
Our guide was fantastic! He provided us with such interesting information and was a pleasure to spend the time with.
Little Deb was great! Very knowledgeable and fun. This is a great way to see panoramic views of the landscape otherwise only accessible to advanced hikers and off road vehicles.
We had a beautiful tour with Chris, who made it even better by sharing a lot about the foliage and local history. Definitely a trip to take while in Sedona!
Ask for Carmine! He was a wealth of information and really handy with our cameras to get some great shots. Super friendly and had as much fun with us as we did with him.
When they say “off road”, they really mean it! The views were amazing. The driver was entertaining and enthusiastic. And the ride was super, super bumpy. It’s manageable and a lot of fun - just be prepared!!!
We chose the Colorado Plateau ride. Stunning scenery. It is a rugged bumpy road, which we enjoyed. Nicola was a wonderful guide, keeping us safe and filled with new knowledge Booking was simple. Great experience start to finish.
Nathan was an excellent guide and driver. The views would be impossible to get without hiking miles uphill in challenging terrain.
It IS bumpy--no question! But to me -worth it. Nathan, our guide took it really slow so we didn't go as far, but he said he'd covered his favorites. Beautiful and perfect light in the late afternoon 4-6pm
Amazing views and our driver Harry was very knowledgeable and has a great personality. Would recommend the early booking giving you a chance to see wildlife in the area. Ride is extremely bumpy
Beautiful scenery and guide very knowledgeable about Sedona and the surrounding areas. Highly recommend jeep tour to see red rocks upclose
We enjoyed the experience. Gene was very informative. Would recommend to anyone okay with the bumpy trails. Do not bring anything extra. I unfortunately lost my prescription glasses($500) my fault not checking everytime we hit a bump.
Excellent tour. Our guide Micheal was most knowledgeable and interesting. He also keyed us in to a couple of hiking trails that we plan on taking upon our return in the spring.
A breathtaking journey into a world unlike any other! Brad was an excellent guide, sharing knowledge of the Rock formations, the plant life and the history. He adapted to our wishes and we had a fantastic time! Would highly recommend.
We had an awesome experience!! The best jeep tour! Super knowledgeable guide (thanks Harry) and had a wonderful time! Thank you so much!
Our guide was very knowledgeable about everything! He knew the history of Sedona, he knew all about the animal species, the plant species, his knowledge was so great!
This is a great company; we booked through our credit card portal with our points. We went on the Colorado Plateau tour. Our tour guide was great. It was a beautiful day September 23, 2025. One tip for women: wear a very strong sports bra. I thought my boobs were going to fall off!!! And I had a sports bra. Wear sunscreen; it gets hot in that jeep. It is very bumpy. It was great to experience seeing the backcountry. The service was great, but it's a one-and-done for us. Highlight of the ride, we saw a Mojave greenback rattlesnake
Parky was so much fun! Tour was great… the views were amazing. Would recommend when you come to Sedona! Nothing like a jeep tour.
This was a wonderful 4x4 Jeep tour of the beautiful Sedona rocks. Our guide, Kristin, was knowledgeable and friendly, an excellent guide. She was perceptive of what our interests were and how much detail to provide of the geology, history of the area, flora and fauna, and famous movies made in the area. Lots of bouncing and bumping on the trail but oh so fun! Highly recommend!!!
Gene was a great guide and perfect 2 hours. it was a great way to see the Colorado plateau and more.
The Trip Advisor sent several notices that it was an 8:00 start. We arrived at the Tour center at 7:40 and were told it was supposed to start at 7:30. Later , after the tour I saw that they sent an email to arrive at 7:30, kind of last minute which I thought was poor .....and received an unhappy attitude. The tour was basically up a mountain road , extremely bumpy and so/so. It was a 2 hour tour. After the tour I gave our guide a $50 bill / tip for the 2 if us. The guide just held it as if to say that's all?
Last day of our vacation and final tour of the trip! We did the Soldiers Pass Trail, billed as Bumpy Off-Road! It certainly was! Our tour guide was named Packy. He was knowledgeable and drove slow over the trail, up and over hills, and cliffs. Respectful of our age of 70. We'll worth it because of the scenery of the 7 Apache Pools and Devil's Kitchen sinkhole. Cactus and towering mountains too.
