Our Sedona Jeep Tour was a 10+ adventure. Jane, our guide, drove us to some of the most beautiful sites I’ve ever seen. And every moment with her was a joy. She was hugely informative, a great storyteller, and funny!. A first-rate experience in every way. For three action-packed, amazing days, we enjoyed Sedona, but the best experience of all was our Sedona Jeep Tour.

I e had an amazing tour with Eric! He was knowledgeable, engaging and FUN!!
Great experience, guide was knowledgeable and views were beautiful.
Exactly what the wife and I wanted to experience while in Sedona. Definitely off road. During the tour, the guide showed us where the waterfall scene in the 1987 movie "The Quick and the Dead" was filmed. We decide to watch the movie. We saw the spot show on the tour, in the movie. Nice trivia moment.
We had a great time! Our guide, Zack, was a perfect match for our tour. He was knowledgeable, friendly, and allowed for deeper conversation that my friend and I needed. We will absolutely be back for another tour!
Richard was an extremely knowledgeable host with great stories and historical references about the area we traveled through. We did the 6:00pm tour thinking it would allow us a sunset ending and it did not disappoint! Amazing!
Had a wonderful time with Zach - our tour guide. The view, the funny bumpy ride, the sunset and all the great talk we had made this moment truly special for us. Thanks Zach for treating us like friends and for for sharing this moment with us. I couldn’t recommend this experience more. If you’re looking for a romantic special experience - I 100% recommend the sunset ride. If we come in Sedona again, we’ll ask for Zach without any doubt!
It was a good experience, ride was moderately rough, really not bad. It was out and back. The guide’s knowledge was the best part.
Great tour guide. Thanks! We enjoyed the sites and the off road experience!
What a wonderful adventure for our girls' weekend! Our guide Wyatt was AMAZING!! He was extremely knowledgeable about the land and history of the Sedona landscape and he made the entire journey a memorable one for our group which ranged in age from 14 to 80! Would definitely recommend this tour group and Wyatt!
Zach is The Best tour guide! He was very knowledgeable regarding the history & geology of the areas. He stopped the Jeep whenever we requested Kodak Moments. The drive up the trail was breathtaking & bouncy. We booked a private 2 hour tour. As the sunset on the rocks, cool shadows appeared. It was an interesting ride. Thank you Zach!
We had an incredible jeep ride and hike w Wyatt! He was awesome. He was so informative and had my 2 teenage sons laughing for most of the day which is not easy to do. Wyatt took the most beautiful photos of our family w gorgeous scenic backgrounds. highly reccomend this jeep tour and if you have time for the hike it us worth it! Ask for Wyatt !
Carmine was awesome - we had a great time with him. He was super knowledgeable and fun to ride with. The road we went up was very scenic and Carmine stopped along the way to point things out and let us take photos. Great tour!
My husband and I had a great tour with Wyatt. He had so much knowledge to share about Sedona and its history. Could not have asked for a better guide, he is a great asset to the company.
Our drive/guide was Ethan . He was great !and full of information about Colorado Plateau .He was very patient and let us take pictures wherever we needed. Definitely would recommend for anyone to go . Just wish we could have even seen more . It was beautiful
We had a great time on this tour with Marshall our guide! He was informative, interactive and enthusiastic. He was even able to make our teenagers excited! We wanted to take some great pictures so initally chose the Colorado Plateau tour, Marshall was very accomodating and asked what we wanted out of our tour (great fauna, landscape, and excitement for the kids) so he customized the best route that can give us a bit of all our request. We went there on a really hot day and was looking for something low-key to do in the afternoon and he recommended a day trip to the Grand Canyon which we were so glad he did! I didn't think we had enough time for a day trip but it worked out perfect, we skipped the really hot part of the day while driving and when we got to Grand Canyon (2 hrs later) it was perfect for exploring. I highly recommend this tour company.
Thoroughly enjoyed the trip. Richard was an excellent guide. He went at a slower pace to accomodate our wishes. Learned a lot about the local flora and fauna.
The views were amazing and the driver was great. I would recommend to anyone looking to take in great views and learn about the area. We booked it last minute and we are very glad we did. Photos can not do it justice. Great experience for my family and I.
Had a great experience with the A Day in the West Jeep Tours!! My family of 4 loved every minute of it - our Jeep driver, Eric, was awesome. He was kind, funny and knowledgeable about the area and showed us a lot of neat things. The only thing I would change is that if it snows the night before, the trails might be closed and your tour might be cancelled. I would call ahead to make sure your tour is still on. It happened to us that we had an 8am tour scheduled and it was cancelled due to snow but we didn't know that until we showed up at their office at 7:30am. They worked quickly to get us rescheduled for a different day and it all worked out. Other than that it was a wonderful experience.
Very beautiful scenery and our guide Zach made it extra special with great stories of the desert plants and Native America history. Wonderful way to spend two hours.
My husband and I took the 2-hour tour with Badger. Great host! Lots of history and information about the area. Probably would not have had a chance to see these breath-taking views on our own. And thanks Badger for the tip on seeing the copper museum in Clarkdale. That was amazing!
Wyatt was an excellent tour guide. Top notch, especially being a local of Sedona. He was so knowledgeable and kind. Truly appreciated the pics he took for us!! Couldn't have asked for a better, or more perfect Tour!
The heated seats were a nice surprise. Dave, our guide, was great sharing stories and pointing out highlights. The views were amazing.
My husband and I had a wonderful time on the jeep tour with Wyatt, our guide. He was very knowledgeable, fun, friendly and most importantly, he knew how to safely navigate the roads. We learned about plants, birds, rocks, and so much more. We definitely would do this again!
Our driver, Ray, was knowledgeable, fun, and an expert driver. The plateau gives an amazing view of all of Sedona and beautiful rock formations all along the bumpy way!
Not only was it beautiful our guide Shawn was amazing, knowledgeable guide! He went beyond to make sure we had fun and learned. I can’t say enough good things. We went on another tour the next with another company and was horrible!!! Thanks Shawn you rock!
My friend and I had a wonderful time! The view was amazing and our tour guide was a lot of fun and very personable. He was very knowledgeable and accomodated us taking pictures along the way and explaining the geological aspect of the mountains and the history. Beautiful ride out into the mountains and a blast!
We chose this company over that Pepto Barbie hued place. My main reason was the price, $545 vs newly $800 for my family of 5. I could kick myself for even paying that much. In fact I’m sick to my stomach that I basically blew that money with nothing to show for it but soreness and regret. Totally not worth the money. Do yourself a favor annd plot you out a drive around Sedona and Oak Creek on paved roads and see the views yourself. We did the 5:00 Colorado Plateau tour and it was utterly miserable. 1.5 hours of wishing for a hot tub, massage therapist and a chiropractor. We could not wait to get this bone-rattling ride over with. The driver, Kenny, was a nice guy. He talked a lot which we did not prefer. Nothing against him, but when you are thinking you are on a tour for the views, you don’t want a lot of chatter. Not to mention that he seemed to make it a point to hit every rock, bump, and hole all the way up and down Schnebly Hill Road. And, for our troubles, when we reached the “top” we had maybe 5 minutes to just look down on Sedona from the roadside before heading back down this spine-tingling “road”. So here’s the deal: if you are thinking about shelling out that kind of money for a jeep tour……….DON’t! Get you a map, spend $17.99 to download AllTrails on your phone, drive on paved roads and hike a few trails. i guarantee that you will experience better views, have more fun, save your spine, and most of all have more money and time for really fun stuff!
We had a fantastic time on our private tour with Carson! He was informative and personable. We were very fortunate to visit during the Agave blooms which only happens every so many years! Great tour.....
Our tour was a private (me and my husband) 2 hour tour over very rocky roads. Our guide (Eric) was terrific. He was very knowledgeable and funny and he was a very good driver!
We had an amazing Jeep tour! CD was the best tour guide! He was so knowledgeable of the area, the trails, the plants and history. Its was supposed to be 74° and sunny that day but instead it was a high of 56° and raining off and on. Luckily we had warm clothes and the Jeep had heated seats! We weren’t cold at all and didn’t get wet. I’m so glad we book this. Definitely will be doing it again.
Guide Jeff was very knowledgeable, conversant, enjoyable. Ride was very bumpy & he took care to be sure we were handling it well. He stopped numerous times to explain to k formations, plants, history of the trail, & take our photos. Check in was easy & prompt. Highly recommend.
Mike G our tour guide was great. Loved the private tour. My girls, ages 5 and 12, could have fun and be themselves. Mike was very patient and knowledgeable. Beautiful scenery!
We did the Colorado Plateau tour and had fun but would have preferred a tour that was only super bumpy half the time. Shep was our driver and he was great. It was nice having a private tour and not having to ride with strangers. Shep was a wealth of knowledge and didn’t miss a beat with keeping the commentary going. We had a 79 year old and 10 year old with us and it was a bit too intense for 1 hour 40 minutes straight. There was only one stop for pictures so that was a little disappointing. Also, you are on one trail that goes up and then you have to come down same way. Didn’t like repeating the same path for the entire trip. There are also a ton of other jeeps, rented and other tours so it is a bit crowded.
We went our a tour with Lance. Lance had all the good vibes. He also gave us a lot of historic background along the trail. We saw the pink jeep tours fly past us and they seemed like more rushed tours. Lance took his time and he did such a great job making us feel comfortable. He made the experience a great one and I definitely would book this tour over the pink jeep tour.
Our guide Kenny, was fun and gave a great tour. Breathtaking views and lots of laughter. Purchased this tour with Groupon and booked directly with ease. Follow up confirmation and check in is flawless. Wonderful experience start to finish!
WOW! A wildly bumpy ride soaking in the amazing wonders of Mother Nature! Our favorite Sedona adventure celebrating a special anniversary filled with laughter and so much fun! Spectacular views, cowboy lore, story telling mixed in with lessons about desert plants and Sedona facts. Erik was a dynamic host and driver—truly passionate about Sedona and his unique job, delivered us safely back. Blessings Erik for both smooth and bumpy roads ahead—-we absolutely loved this adventure! Always know you are a gifted soul!
Views from the trail were fantastic, would never have imagined it would be so beautiful!! Our guide was great!!!
So we did our homework and read reviews but frankly this company was not what it purported. First we went in a hummer (one of the very first ever made!! and had the original seat cushions), not a jeep. We went up on a road with large rocks at 2 miles/hour and so did every pink jeep in Sedona. The finally view was less than spectacular - we saw better when we hiked 1 mile into the red rocks. The guide was nice but not very animated and alittle boring. I would not recommend this company.
Our tour guide, Zeke, was friendly and knowledgeable. I loved this tour as our son is 3 years old and we would not have been able to hike as far without a vehicle. We were lost and arrived 15 minutes late. We were lucky it was not a busy day and they were more than happy to adjust our tour due to our delay.
We had an amazing time and learned so many details about Sedona and nature/other facts in the area. Our guide Nate was very personable and interesting. We really appreciated everything he had to tell us.
We did Colorado Plateau tour. Incredible views. Extremely rough ride, which my 14 year old absolutely loved. I’m 57, and I was a bit sore the next day, but nothing I couldn’t handle. Our butts were completely airborne off the seats more than once. Our guide Joe was super nice and knowledgeable. He also knew when to be quiet and let us just enjoy the moment. We did private tour and I highly recommend that. It would have sucked to be crowded in the Jeep with a bunch of other people on such a bumpy ride, and they would have blocked the view on the way up and down. Well worth the extra money to do a private tour. The only thing our guide did wrong was he gave us 1.5 hour tour instead of 2 hours, which is what we paid for. But I really didn’t mind because it was such a bumpy ride, I was ready for it to be over. 1.5 hours was just enough.
We had an aamzing time with “Firefox”! He was an exceptional guide! Full of knowledge on various topics relating to the area. Will definitely book again. Ask for him he’s awesome, six stars out of five!
Our driver/ guide was very informative about the local plants and the history of Sedona. He was super friendly and entertaining.
The ride up was very steep and bumpy. Steep elevation, driving over rocks and boulders for over an hour was not very enjoyable for the adults in our group. The view at the top was incredible, but I would probably pick a different route if I were to do it again.
Excellent tour with Pierce as our guide. Beautiful scenery along with a ride that was bumpy but not tooth shattering. Pierce was friendly, informative and entertaining for our private group of four. We were so pleased to support a local company instead of the bigger corporate group that had dozens of jeeps whizzing up and down the same trail. Pierce answered all of our questions, stopping whenever and wherever we asked plus he created an awesome panoramic photo with our group simultaneously pushing AND pulling our Jeep!! We felt like family, not tourists.
We were unable to do the trip scheduled. because of weather conditions, but Joe definitely made up for it. Only two of us and he designed it around the things we were interested in. He was very knowledgeable about the history and the science of the vortex’s and the energy in the area. Very personable, patient and funny! It was a fun tour!
Enjoyed the tour. Colorado Fave our guide was very knowledgeable and friendly. Booking was easy and well organized. We had a keep all to ourselves- 3 of us.
Masón gave us a great experience. He was extremely knowledgeable and entertaining during our tour and took us to some beautiful locations. We really enjoyed our time there.
it was a nice tour and our tour guide was very nice, knowledgeable and accommodating. But our tour was cut short because it rauned and its monsoon season. So we werent able to enjoy the scenery because it was raining. But overall a very good experience, and reasonable price.
