Phoenix Morning Hot Air Balloon Ride With Bubbly + Breakfast

A lot of fun. Capt Mike and crew were great and a pleasure to deal with. Breakfast in the desert was a really nice addition to the exoerience.

The best experience I have had in years!! The booking was so easy !! From the moment we arrived at our meeting spot everything was first class. Joy checked us in and Joseph’s put my son and I in his group. The pilot , Mike Johnson , was friendly and informed us of instructions which were perfect. The views from the height of almost 5000 feet was better than we all expected. Such a wonderful first time experience on a hot air balloon. The landing was smooth !! The breakfast was served at a nice table with champagne to toast us getting back on the ground!! The support staff including Marcus were so friendly and have been with the company for years. This is a first class operation that I would do again!!

The trip to the area where the balloons take off was long and uncomfortable. Rough ride but the ride in the balloon was amazing!

My hot air balloon experience was absolutely amazing and truly unforgettable! The views were breathtaking, and seeing the beautiful Arizona landscape from high above was an experience like no other. The entire experience was peaceful, exciting, and well worth it. The staff was professional, friendly, and made me feel comfortable and safe throughout the adventure. Everything was well organized, which made the experience even better. If you’re visiting Arizona and looking for something unique and memorable to do, I highly recommend this experience. It was definitely a highlight of my trip, and I would love to do it again!

This was an amazing birthday experience. It was my first time and it was so smooth, peaceful and zero issues from start to finish. The amazing crew Johnathan, Michael and Markus were fabulous. If possible you should try and request them. They truly made it feel like a birthday celebration. Thanks guys

We visited from Vancouver and the pick up location was extremely confusing. We gave ourselves plenty of time. We did not have a contact phone number for anyone working at the company which would have been helpful to find another way to get to the destination. Super disappointing

The weather was not our friend. The first try for launch was cancelled. The 2nd try was almost cancelled. We were not able to go up as high or fly for as long as we wanted. We enjoyed the experience and understood that weather plays an important part of your ride. Our pilot was very knowledgeable and I appreciate his apprehension for our safety. ♥️

It was a great experience. I loved the fact that they pick you up from the hotel. This was a solo trip, so I didn’t have to worry about trying to locate the meeting spot. Jim was great and assured me that I didn’t have anything to be afraid of. The Captain McKenna was great. The ride was nice and smooth. After we landed they had a nice breakfast and champagne. I will definitely will be back to Phoenix and will do the ballon ride again. My only complaint, is that I wish it was a little longer. Overall, it was an awesome experience. I have already referred this company to my friends that saw the beautiful pictures.

Hot Air Balloon was cancelled for both the days i was there. They did communicate this from the evening before. They said forecast of high wind, but i cant say I felt any wind all the days i was there. Trusting they made the right call for safety. But sorely disappointed as this was the primary thing I traveled to Phoenix to do. Feels like a wasted trip after taking time off and travelling from Canada. Struggled to get into other excursions last minute. Not my favourite trip.

This was one of the best experiences I’ve ever had! The fire is pretty hot from balloon. Wear a hat.

This experience was amazing! 10/10 would recommend, I was nervous before the experience but from the moment I stepped into the van I felt comfortable and welcomed by all staff. The driver, guides, and pilot were all amazing. Thank you Jonathan and Jim for a great experience.

The team was knowledgeable the flight was smooth you didn’t know you were off the ground. They all were nice and funny.

I had an absolutely unforgettable hot air balloon experience. Our pilot, Jonathan, was skilled, friendly, and made the entire ride feel both safe and exciting. Floating above the landscape was breathtaking, and Jonathan’s commentary added so much fun to the journey. After we landed, the brunch was terrific—delicious food, great atmosphere, and surprisingly entertaining. This was the perfect mix of adventure and relaxation. Highly recommend!

The crew was very professional and informative. The captain of my Hot Air Balloon was Johnathan. While on ground the crew was very personable and helpful. While in the air Johnathan engaged with the passengers throughout the ride and made sure we all had a great time. After the ride we had brunch and learned a little about the history of Hot Air Balloons. I would highly this adventure to anyone.

The hot air balloon experience was even better than I imagined! The Arizona sunrise was truly spectacular, and the peacefulness and serenity were just wonderful. The air crew was incredibly efficient and confident. Joy was a treat—she drove us to the location and was a customer service champion.

Having to wake up very early to drive to the airport, to then drive to the balloon location in a bumpy van with no talking or any kind of entertainment was dull. We were then told to wait in the van while the pilot evaluated the weather. We were not upset about the flight canceling due to the weather, but there was no communication. I’m in aviation and saw the cells and looked over the TAF.. it was forecasted to be higher winds. We waited for an hour in the van.. with no other conversation from the pilot or driver.. and then told it was canceled due to the winds. If there had been some sort of communication and even if the driver talked and asked questions it would have been a pleasant experience. To then drive back another 45 minutes… I wouldn’t book with you guys again to be honest.. not trying to be mean.. but I’d rather it be an entire event from start to finish.

Fun exercise. Felt totally safe. The only thing you need tobbe prepared for is the amount of heat that is used to fly the hot air ballon I would suggest wearing a hat .I would definetly use this company again

Booked this for my girlfriend’s. Our balloon ride got cancelled for weather, which I get, but they waited until our exact scheduled pickup time to tell us. They had to have known beforehand since they’d have needed to already be on their way to pick us up, so there’s no reason they couldn’t have told us sooner. Because of that timing we’d already checked out of our hotel and ended up with nowhere to stay, and they weren’t able to help when we called. Weather happens, but waiting until the last second to tell us something they already knew was not okay

Breathtaking views. The guides was kind and informative. Food and champagne was a fun bonus. Really cool experience!

As advertised, do look for the company’s email ,Viator is a little out of the look on correct information; location close but about 1/8 mile in opposite direction.The food is not from the advertised restaurant.A lot of Costco items ,but it was all their the set up ,transportation and crew were all there ,tough to hear driver in van ride ,but most likely didn’t miss much .Highly recommend the company,

Very exciting but calming at the same time. Pilot was knowledgeable and funny, great sense of humor. The certificates were a nice touch too.

The overall experience was really good, from the initial pickup meeting all the way to the balloon landing. However, the pilot was quite rude when verifying our vouchers at the end of the adventure. After booking the experience through Groupon and receiving a booking confirmation from Hot Air Expeditions, I had already marked my vouchers as "used." Because of this, the voucher numbers were no longer visible. The pilot became unnecessarily rude when asking for them, which was a disappointing end to a great trip.

Book your adventure early in the week because we were canceled, because of wind,on the day we scheduled, but were able to squeeze it in on the next day. Our Pilot Tommy was amazing. Very professional and also fun. He took time to make sure we were comfortable & felt safe. This was an incredible ride…so peaceful and beautiful! The breakfast was delicious and they even accommodated me with a gluten-free muffin. The basket was a little tough to get in and out of, but I did it even with a bad knee and one knee replacement. Thank you for a wonderful experience.

Joy and Tommy were amazing throughout this entire experience! They were very clear on rules and expectations which made us all feel very safe and comfortable. It was an amazing flight and I would 100% do this again!

Our experience was Top Notch!! Ethan our driver was very knowledgeable and willing to answer all questions with such a warm spirit. Tommy our pilot was so funny and easy to talk to with so many years of experience. The service is and 10 out 10 . The breakfast was amazing as well. And toast to this wonderful experience and the crew members all were very well accommodating towards each person needs on the ride. I would highly recommend this company for future events!! My ride today was EPIC!!

misleading, this is for large groups balloon ride not couples as it states in numerous spots throughout the Groupon and doesn't disclose at all what type you are purchasing on trip advisor. I called and asked how to book using the groupon and was informed it is not valid on the private options. and no discount on the private ones.

The pick up time was changed last minute so we missed our pick up but was able to make it in time to the meet up. For international travelers, it is important to check your home sim. The experience was amazing, our driver and pilot were both great. The breakfast after was lovely. Such a wonderful first time experience for us.

Amazing experience! Alisa and the crew were great and incredibly knowledgeable. Went with grandparents and kids and everyone fully enjoyed it. The breakfast and champagne was great too! Accommodated gluten free allergies and didn’t skimp on amount of champagne. Would definitely recommend!
