Phoenix Hot Air Balloon Ride At Sunrise

Great experience. Our pilot was wonderful.

First Hot balloon ride and it was amazing!! Our pilot, Kyle Laxton, was the best. He made us laugh, feel safe and executed a flight that was perfect in every way.

Great experience. Crossed off my bucket list.

Such an amazing experience! Rainbow Ryders did a fantastic job from start to finish. They were well organized, and all of the equipment was in perfect shape. We were in good hands and felt safe the whole time. The Pilot, Captain Morghan and the crew were top notch. It’s so peaceful up there and it’s wonderful to see God’s creation from above.

The pre-boarding part was exiting due to my anticipation of the flight and the pretty colors of the pre-inflated balloons. The tour guide was nice and passionate about his work.

Unfortunately the ride was cancelled. The only recommendation I can make in reference to this is that the time to meet was changed 3 times, Initial booking said 415 am (with emphasis to not being late), then email stating 430am, then email the morning of changed to 0445 am. We saw that email but did not see the text at 0230 am that it was cancelled, sadly we had already taken an uber to Safeway and waited outside for up near an hour. I am unsure why the meeting times would be changed so many times and i think that you should stress in your booking that Customers should check at a certain time before going to see if it is cancelled. There was no weather issue that we could see and we were so busy trying to get there (as we were on vacay from out of state) to only later realize it was cancelled and be out $ 50.00 for an uber there and back. Thank you

Rainbow Ryders has perfected the art of hot air ballooning, and have their process down to a science. Efficient, transparent, professional, and safe. Shout out to our pilot, Patrick, and the knowledgeable chase team, who made us feel comfortable & kept us informed throughout. Bucket List ✅

This was my second time going on the sunrise hot air balloon tour! Both experiences were great. First time solo, second time with a friend. Ironically, I had Pilot Morghan Chando for both times I had a tour. He made the experience great! Friendly and professional. The entire staff was amazing as well. Would recommend this company for hot air balloon ride.

The ride was smooth and Capt. Jesse had the Balloon always under control. The land crew were experts professionals and complemented the Capt very well.

Such a fun experience, would go back and do it again, the pilot was very informative! The sunset was so beautiful, waking up extra early was worth the view!

It was one of the coolest things I've ever done! It's so peaceful. And smooth. It didn't feel like we were floating in a basket almost 8,000 feet in the sky! Kyle was a great pilot. He was funny and knowledgeable. This was a bucket list item for me and I'd definitely do it again sometime! It was fantastic!

Rainbow Ryders Hot Air Balloon Sunrise Tour. Our tour guide Kyle was super funny and paid great attention to detail. It was cool to see how they inflated the balloons. On our flight we got to one of the highest altitude of all five balloons that were in the air. I was skeptical that two van loads of people would be able to have their own outside view in the balloon basket, but everyone had their own section to view along the outside of the basket and it didn’t seem crowded. It was definitely a bucket list check off. I highly recommend this company. They are very organized and very mindful of your safety.

I celebrated by 40th Birthday in June and I kicked off my day with the Sunrise Balloon ride. The ride was seamless and breathtaking, and our Captain was great! I definitely recommend flying with Rainbow Ryder(s)!

It was an amazing experience. It is surreal how peaceful and smooth sailing the ride was. Glad I got to experience this with my son. It is an adventure that I will never forget.

Oemgeee 10/10 highly recommend this was by far a check off the bucket list… let me tell you my guide was so knowledgeable.. Patrick was beyonnnnddd amazinnnnggg and his partner they made sure all our questions were answered and to be four o’clock in the morning they were very chipper and energetic .. lovvve the atmosphere you guys rocked!!!

We would highly recommend this adventure!! Staff was professional and made the whole experience enjoyable and entertaining. Jesse the pilot was amazing.

The booking process was smooth. Everyone there was nice. It was a bit disappointing getting there at 4am just for them to cancel due to the wind. I cane from Jersey just to experience it. However, I did receive a refund. Nonetheless, still disappointing.

Rainbow Ryders is a very reputable company with a professional crew! The crew is very knowledgeable about the area and their craft!

My husband and I did a couples hot air balloon flight with Rainbow Ryders in Phoenix, and it was a fantastic experience. Our pilot and the entire ground crew were amazing—friendly, professional, and made us feel comfortable from start to finish. The flight length was just right, the landing was smooth, and we felt the experience was well worth the price. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a memorable adventure!

Our pilot, Kyle, was fantastic. Not only was he incredibly skilled and professional, but he was also absolutely hilarious. He kept everyone laughing and relaxed the entire time, which made the experience even more memorable. You could immediately tell how passionate he is about what he does, and we felt completely comfortable in his hands throughout the flight. A special shoutout as well to Kyle’s brother, Ray, and Chelsea on the ground crew. They were friendly, welcoming, and genuinely fun to get to know. The entire team created such a positive atmosphere that it felt like spending the morning with friends rather than simply checking off a tourist activity. The views were breathtaking, the flight was smooth, and the entire operation was extremely well organized. If you book with Rainbow Ryders, absolutely request Kyle as your pilot. You will be glad you did. Highly recommend this experience to anyone considering a hot air balloon ride.

Great experience from start to finish. Check in was super easy, was told exactly what to expect each step of the morning. Ride was absolutely perfect and our pilot Kyle not only made everyone comfortable on the drive out to the site but explained safety guidelines, points of interest and facts of about hot air balloons. The entire Rainbow Ryders staff is friendly and professional.

Kyle and his team was fantastic!!! I’m sorry I don’t remember everyone’s name but it was such a great experience. Fun, smooth, peaceful. Would definitely recommend and would go again myself.

My fiancé had a blast! They even have snacks and water available. We were lucky to have such a fantastic guide and pilot Patrick. I would definitely suggest it.

The experience was wonderful and our guide, CJ, was great! Definitely plan on doing this again and encouraging others to take part as well!

Our guide/pilot was Jesse, whom I kept calling Steven! He was the best. I highly recommend doing this while in town. The views are spectacular and Jesse got us up to 6400 feet!

My son got this for his mom for Mothers Day! They both loved it!

It was well organized and efficient. Our pilot Jesse Roholt was knowledgeable and hilarious. Would do it again and again.

What an amazing experience! Our pilot Jesse educated us on all aspects of ballooning. We thoroughly enjoyed our time flying over 5,000 ft above the phoenix desert at sunrise 🌄

A breathtaking, memorable experience for my whole family. A very professional company!

This is my second hot air, balloon ride experience with this company. Our morning started out a little delayed because of wind conditions. However, we were on our way, everything was great. Our pilot was very experienced, did a great job, even providing some humor and laughs along the way. We went up as high as 5000 feet above sea level. The only negative I can think of is that the scenery was not too impressive. It was not very scenic desert with some garbage scattered about. Otherwise, for a great hot air balloon experience, I would definitely recommend this company..

The balloon ride was wonderful and our pilot was excellent. We got several lovely pictures of the sunrise.

Amazing experience. Jesse R was a great pilot; informational, professional and funny. Highly recommend Rainbow Riders.

We had an amazing experience with Rainbow Ryders! Our pilot, John (JT), was knowledgeable, hilarious, and provided an unforgettable experience. The views were amazing. I would definitely do it again!

This trip had two things against it from the start - I don’t like early mornings and I am scared of heights. On the drive over I had decided not to go and just watch my husband and teenage son enjoy the ride. When we got to the launch site I was so busy taking pictures that when our pilot, Patrick, said it was time to load up I just did. I didn’t regret it. Patrick is amazing - very knowledgeable, made everyone feel welcome and safe, and I was able to look out and enjoy the ride. I’ve traveled all over the world and hands down, this makes the top five for coolest things I’ve ever experienced. All three of us agreed that we would definitely pay to do it again!

What a fun experience! Our pilot, JT, was friendly and informative. You can tell he loves his work. It was very interesting to see all the balloons inflate and launch. And the ride itself was amazing

Wonderful experience! Better than I had expected. So serene and calm in the air. Beautiful view of the area like no other. Rainbow Ryders were very well organized and I felt completely safe for the entire ride. When we touched back down I did not even feel the gondola land. Highly recommend!

Absolutely amazing, once-in-a-lifetime experience!!!

It was really fun and beautiful. I would highly recommend this hot air balloon. Jon was great……………..

It was our first experience with hot air ballooning and while it was a very calm day and we didn’t travel very far it was enjoyable for the six of us. Perhaps not as scenic as I was expecting because we didn’t go far from where we took off. We got to watch the whole process of how they set up and launch and land as there were at least 8 other ballons for this company and ballon’s from other companies as well. Ours was the last group to lift off.

Had an amazing adventure! Kyle, our pilot and the crew worked very hard to be sure we had a scenic and incredible experience!

We wanted to do one last fun adventure before leaving Arizona and booked the day before! Booking was a very simple process- we showed up in the morning, checking in was easy, the staff was great! Our pilot was Jesse N., he was very knowledgeable about the area and had a lot of information to share with us while we were up! I was apprehensive about the flight but it was smooth and not nearly as scary as I thought it would be, I am so glad I decided to conquer that fear and HIGHLY recommend Rainbow Ryders to anyone even considering the trip, it was amazing!!!!

Had an amazing hot air balloon experience with Rainbow Ryders. Our pilot, Greg, and the crew were very friendly and made us feel safe the entire time. The views were absolutely beautiful, especially during sunrise. The ride was smooth from start to finish, and the landing was just as gentle. They even served free mimosas, which made the experience even more enjoyable. Overall, everything went perfectly and it was such a memorable experience. If you are in Phoenix, highly recommended.

Jesse (the pilot) made everyone so comfortable with his expertise. First class operation. Would recommend to anyone looking add to their bucket list. Wife was hesitant ‘fear of heights’, and cannot wait to fly again! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Great experience. The crew was efficient and knew what they were doing. They were also easy to talk to.

8000 feet felt safe, beautiful views , a experienced and funny pilot.

Kyle was an awesome hot air balloon pilot and tour guide! He was humorous and knowledgeable of his craft and the geology of the area. Good times!!

Our experience with rainbow riders was top notch. Jon, who was our balloon captain did an awesome job and so did the crew with takeoff and landing Jon was very knowledgeable about the surrounding area and answered everybody’s questions in the balloon. It was well worth the early wake up call!!! Beautiful all around. Definitely do for a bucket list trip!

Fantastic experience. I highly reccomend this.
