It’s expensive and it is rushed… there are tours directly in front and in back of each tour …. and monitors to move you along. It is a photographer's dream and very frustrating not to be able to have time to shoot… even with a phone. Also, almost impossible to hear the guide as the group was talking amongst themselves and the group was moving as she spoke. Sadly, although the guide was lovely and knowledgeable, I learned very little. While I would recommend this tour because the beauty of the site… please go with full knowledge of the frustrations.

Itinerary
Explore the naturally-made, colorful labyrinthine pathways of one of the most popular slot canyons in the world: the Lower Antelope Canyon. Follow a local Navajo guide on a walking tour of this canyon, learning about these curious rock formations and the history of the land. Head straight into the twisting passageways of the canyon, marveling at its brilliant windswept patterns, its colorful towering walls, and winding corridors. Feel the grandeur and the tranquility of your naturally-made surroundings as your local Navajo guide goes into detail about these formations. Walk back up eight different staircases, trying not to let your jaw drop too low as you see a kaleidoscope of bright colors swirl around you on the surrounding Navajo sandstone. Created by rain, wind, and erosion this sandstone has been shaped and colored into what you now see over years. Stop to snap incredible photos along your route.

Lower Antelope Canyon is beautiful...go during peak time, the colors are amazing. Our tour guide was also amazing!!
Very efficient time management.excellent tour guide explained very clearly.we enjoyed and we recommend our friends.
Has lots of fun, the views were amazing and would definitely be back soon. I would definitely recommend to others
The weather on October 21 was absolutely terrible, but despite the awful conditions, we still made the effort to travel to the designated pickup point for our 11:30 AM tour, only to find that the location was closed. What made the situation even more frustrating was that we never received any cancellation notice or update whatsoever. We even sent a message through the app to ask what was going on, but no one bothered to respond. As of today, we still haven’t received any notification, explanation, or apology. It is extremely disappointing and frustrating to have made the effort to show up in such terrible weather, only to find the pickup location closed with no information or communication from the tour provider. We wasted our time and effort traveling to the pickup point for a tour that apparently wasn’t happening, and the fact that nobody has even bothered to contact us afterward makes this experience even worse. The complete lack of communication and basic customer service is unacceptable. I am requesting a full refund for this tour. We were unable to participate in the tour, received no cancellation notice, and were left without any explanation despite attempting to contact the provider through the app. It is unreasonable to expect customers to bear the cost of a service that was not provided, especially when the company failed to notify us of the cancellation or respond to our messages. I expect this matter to be addressed promptly and a full refund to be issued. We deserve better than being left in the dark after making the effort to show up in terrible weather. Please provide confirmation of the refund and an explanation for this unacceptable lack of communication.
it extremely crowded, rushed through the tour due to to many groups in the canyon. Was not able fully enjoy the creation of the Cantaloupe Canyon
Beautiful scenery with a wonderful guide. Fiona provided a great tour and made sure we got all the great picture spots.
You meet your guide and take a short walk to the cave with your group. It is definitely crowded if you’re going during peak times or in peak seasons. The guides are so helpful with taking photos and getting the best angles. This is definitely a once in a lifetime experience so I would most definitely recommend. Do not attempt if you need a walking device.
Antelope canyon was amazing Our guide was attentive and informative Overall the tour was great. However it felt like you were being rushed through. No time to stop and reflect. You had to keep moving
You must be there 30 min before or they will cancel your reservation. This experience will be rushed and you'll have to hurry and take pics. Ppl will be in the way taking pics and you may not get the shot you're looking for. Our guide was really nice and informative,
We were coming from the Grand Canyon and originally there was a time change from PST to MST. So we lost our money (refund policy) and had to rebook for a later time. However, we learned once we got to Antelope Canyon, they are still on PST. So we would’ve made it, had we not followed Apple Maps time change. So, for anyone who does the same, don’t go off of what the time change on your phone systems tell you. It’s still PST in both the Grand Canyon and Antelope Canyon.
The canyon is breathtaking. The crowds however are not! Luckily our guide did a great job of keeping the group in front of us with their guide. We then had room to take in the beauty and take photos. All in all very worth it.
Our tour guide, Benson, was a blast and did a great job guiding us through the canyon. I would definitely recommend taking the tour, it is well worth it.
Exceptional experience very otherworldly to me. Highly recommend the Lower Canyon and our guide Raul was top notch and quite the musician.
While the tour itself was great - our guide, Antonio, is very good at his job and the Lower Canyon is as beautiful as the photos on the internet! -, purchasing this tour through the website antelopecanyontours.com is a RIP-OFF! They charged $109 per person, and we drove ourselves to the location. Once we got there - Ken's Tours - the lady at the cashier's window pointed to their charge of $80 per person. While we used tripadvisor to 'detour' us to the middle-man website, we got scammed of $50!!! Do NOT pre-purchase using third-party websites! Just go to Ken's Tours and purchase directly from them (if you have a car and can drive yourself there). Hoping this helps other visitors to avoid being scammed.
We paid the night before, arrived when we were told, and were stopped at the gate and said there would be no tours that day and we had to turn around and leave. Still trying to get a refund!
I had 4 tickets to Lower Antelope Canyon for SEP 2nd, at 9:00 AM. When we arrived at the location, we were informed that the lower canyon was closed for the day due to flooding. We were never notified, and I’m still waiting for confirmation of full refund.
Our Antelope Canyon tour was an amazing experience! The stunning rock formations and beautiful colors were breathtaking. Our guide was friendly, knowledgeable, and made the tour fun and memorable. It was truly a beautiful place to visit, and I highly recommend this tour!
Definitely the best choice I could make is divine and the guide was also very friendly you definitely have to schedule
Beautiful views, good experience but the only thing I didn’t like that they are rushing you. Impossible to take pictures. All the tours are one after the others, stepping on your feet, rushing you out of there. If you are good taking pictures quick then I would recommend otherwise you can’t stop for 10 seconds to get a photo (they will yell at you). So stupid to pay so much money and unable to spend 5 minutes on photos.
Jonas was an amazing guide. It was funny, great at taking photos and some much knowledge he passed on to us. He was very caring and helpful! Definitely would do this guided tour again! So much beauty all around you!
I enjoyed the tour and the lower antelope was really cool to see. The tour guide was helpful and shared some interesting info.
Wow, it was amazing. Our guide Vincent was informative and made sure every one was having a good time especially in the extreme heat. Beautiful site to see. It’s a must to do!!!!
We met our guide - Chris B - for the 8 am Lower Antelope Canyon tour. He was fantastic and very knowledgable., We did the Upper 3 years ago. This is a very different experience. Both are amazing and you should do both. You will be going up and down steep ladders - so it might not be comfortable for all. The ladders are very secure. The rock formations are not to be missed !!
The tour was cancelled due to weather/dust via overhead announcements. Stated we could reschedule but we were leaving the next day. Promised a full refund and have not heard from them since. Maybe this review will allow them the opportunity to credit my account. Very disappointing. Would not recommend until situation is resolved.
This is a phenomenal do not miss type of an experience. We're good sturdy shoes but it is not too strenuous. An absolute unforgettable experience
The tour was incredible! I learned a lot about Antelope Canyon and was amazed by the beauty. It was definitely a 10 out of 10!
We wanted to see this wonderful location and had a great time with our tour guide Aiden - he was helpful and even took some pictures for us.
We did the lower antelope canyon guided tour, it was a bit more challenging walking down the steep steps to the canyon and through the smaller walk ways but the sights were breathtaking we would highly recommend. Our tour guide Chris B was amazing, very knowledgeable of the canyon and its history. He knew all the great photo spots in the canyon and took pics for each of the members jn our group of 15. The lower canyon and our tour guide were absolutely incredible! We highly recommend
The canyon is beautiful and worth seeing. That said, we found the tour very crowded. There were 5 total groups of 15 people each going thru during our 30 min slot. With so many people in the group it was hard to hear our guide, unless you were right at the front of the group. We got lots of amazing pictures but didn’t leave feeling like we learned much about the canyon or that we needed to be down there as long as we were.
This slot canyon was just breathtaking, the group was very organized and getting us through the canyon carefully and safely. Our guide was lovely and we intend to visit more canyons in this area.
It was a nice experience and will recommend with friends. Our guide, Ben was really nice. Give everyone chance to take photos while doing the tour.
Lower Antelope Canyon is already at a 10, but our tour guide, Chris B, somehow cranked it up to 11. We showed up thinking we'd take a few nice pictures; turns out we left with photos that look like they belong in a magazine (or at least deserve to make everyone on Facebook jealous). Chris B. is not just a tour guide, he's basically a smartphone photography wizard. Whether you have an iPhone or Android, he knows all the secret settings, angles, and tricks to make the canyon glow with unreal colors. He even took amazing pictures of us, pointed out hidden formations, and somehow knew exactly where the "wow" shots were. Honestly, if our camera roll looked this good all the time, we'd quit our day jobs and become travel influencers. If you're visiting Lower Antelope Canyon, do yourself a favor and book with Ken's Tours. And if you get Chris B. as your guide, congratulations, you've just won the photo lottery!
Amazing photo ops and guides Tour app 75 minutes 70 steps down - so not all should go on tour No flush toilets or running water - would bring bottled water (gift shop does sell)
Don’t booked with them poor communication we don’t receive a email or a phone call letting us know that something change
Amazing site. a must see, very impressive. I did both the upper and lower Canyons and loved both. We came to Arizona this time especially to see this and it was worth it
Ryan the tour guide is very knowledgeable and pointed us to the best angle to take the best photos, he also explained how the weather and elements can affected the geology of the canyon We have a better understanding of the canyon
We LOVED this tour. Best part of our vacation. Go do it! It was so beautiful. We thoroughly enjoyed it.
It’s was my first time and I love it. The guide was very patient to explain us how the canyon building up. I really enjoyed the hiking and all the incredible views thank you.
It’s so fabulous to see the canyon, love all the pictures and our guide Aiden was helpful taking pictures for us
Great experience and a must see! The tour guides were knowledgeable and friendly. Group sizes were reasonable and allowed time for pictures.
A unique canyon with beautiful views. Great tour guide - she pointed out all of the animals and shapes that we would have missed!! Very friendly and the tour was the perfect length in the heat. Worth it.
My tour guide from Ken's Tour was Sanford. He was amazing! He provided so much history and context in an effortless and interesting way. I would definitely recommend this tour company.
Aidan is the best tour guide! It’s INCREDIBLE to walk through the canyon. Unbelievable experience. Our group had an age range from septuagenarians to 4 years old. Have to scale metal stairs and shimmy through narrow passages but worth it in every way. Beyond beautiful and a well led tour.
This was a beautiful place. Access was easy and it was an experience we'll never forget. Our guide, Lamor, was very accommodating and knowledgeable. He kept the tour interesting and even made us laugh. Highly recommend and especially with Lamor.
Very well organized. Informative and helpful with the pictures while touring. Perfect amount of time to see everything.
Beautiful formations. Guide was very helpful in pointing out good spots for photos and taking group photos.
Very informative and fun guide. Wonderful sites. I recommend highly. Wear comfortable shoes. Very nice
This should be at the top of your bucket list! We've never experienced anything like it. Antonio was our guide and did a fantastic job! If we're ever back in the area we'll do it again!
Guide took care to show and explain things and keep our kids engaged, cool insight into the care and history of the area
