Old Bisbee History & Art 1-hour Golf Cart Tour

We learned a lot about Bisbee and had fun riding the golf cart with John as we explored the nooks and crannies of old streets in town and on the edge of Bisbee. Couldn’t have asked for a better tour! Recommend!

Carey did such a great job on our golf cart tour. She shared lots of history and took us to many interesting sights. We stopped along the way to take some fun pictures. This was a great way to learn about and explore the great town of Bisbee. Thank you!

Carrie, who grew up in Bisbee, was knowledgeable about Bisbee’s colorful, often violent and sordid history. Her own memories were woven in to make it vividly imaginable. She related the stories in her own style which fascinated us throughout the tour, which ended too quickly. She was a great guide!

My family and I were visiting Bisbee for the first time and were looking to explore and learn about the town. We were told to check out B Active where we discovered the 1 hour golf cart tour. The booking process was super easy. As a party of 4, we did the golf cart tour guided by Carrie. Carrie was absolutely wonderful and super knowledgeable. She was very friendly and personable; it was clear she loves Bisbee and loves giving these tours. We explored and learned so much about Bisbee, there was no way we would've seen everything on our own. I highly recommend this tour for those visiting Bisbee for the first time or those looking to learn history or about new places to adventure within the town.

We were very impressed with your operators. There was a weird mix up with our reservation. We went for the tour at the time on the printout of our reservation but unfortunately they were expecting us at 2:00 pm rather than 9:00 am. The lady in the office immediately made a few phone calls and was able to get us a replacement guide who could take us in 20 minutes. We were so grateful!! Our guide was great. Yes, it was his day off but he willingly gave us an excellent tour of the town of Bisbee. He was very knowledgeable and gave us a great overview of the area, the history, and the social context of the area. He was a great storyteller and as we went around the town told us stories about locals past and present. Bisbee is a quirky town built on rocks without a straight street anywhere. Our guide and his golf cart was able to follow little back streets and would stop to answer our questions all along the route. We learned so much about Bisbee and area and felt very lucky to get to see and learn about places and views that we never would have found on our own. He was friendly and quite hilarious with his stories!! I’m so sorry I don’t remember our guide’s name, but he’s running for mayor; and we hope he wins!!

We had an amazing time on the golf cart tour. Cary is so passionate about Bisbee and it was so authentic since she had been raised there. Loved all the history, even the sad parts. her information prompted us to go see the Catholic Church, Erie Street with the vintage cars, and we even found a few of the mansions she mentioned.

The experience was wonderful. It was intimate in that Carrie was knowledgeable, patient, informative, personable and very friendly.

This was a great tour - a great way to see Old Bisbee and learn its history. Steve was an excellent tour guide.

We highly recommend this tour. We started the day meeting Steve the owner. He made you feel like a friend right off at the get go. He made us delicious cocktails while we waited and great conversation followed. Carrie was our driver. Extremely friendly, pleasant and knowledgeable. She took us on a great tour. We learned a lot about the history and what Bisbee had to offer. When in town do not miss tour!

My husband and I had a very enjoyable golf cart tour through the eclectic and artsy town of Bisbee, with its narrow, hilly streets and hundreds of stairs. John, our guide, regaled us with the copper mine history and architectural buildings still being used. We had a great time!

There are 36 steps to climb, otherwise tour is very interesting and informative. Actual mine train is fun. It’s a very large tour group of 40 people.

John was a great host and we really enjoyed learning about the history of the city. Highly recommend for anyone staying or passing through. A lot of history in a small place.

Carrie led our tour and was knowledgeable and fun! She has lived in Bisbee most of her life and provided a personable experience, filled with interesting historical information. I’ve been to Bisbee several times over the years and am grateful now to know more about its origin story and personality, which certainly added depth to our time there. I think our favorite things were learning about the story of the stained glass in the Catholic Church windows, the delicious burnt butter and hungarian peanut butter cookies from Patisserie Jacqui and oh my, the ginger stout and raspberry lemon cake at the High Desert Market and Cafe. Don’t judge us! We were celebrating a birthday and a retirement! Incidentally, it was raining the day we were there and this did not dampen our or Carrie’s enthusiasm to hop into the golf cart (it had a roof - yay) and toodle around Bisbee. Thank you Carrie and B Active Bisbee for a wonderful experience! Shawn and Julie - friends for decades.

We really loved this tour around Bisbee in a “golf cart”. Our driver and John was wonderful!!

We love Bisbee, but have always felt like we sort of wondered around while there, and since we seem to be taking many out of town visitors lately, we decided that this tour sounded like a perfect way to get a quick "lay of the land"! It was exactly as we'd hoped it would be. A great overview of Bisbee! Our driver was awesome! The only things that I noticed is that the back seats are harder to hear and see everything being described. I would recommend if two couples went, one person would sit next to the driver, one couple in the middle, and the other half of couple number one, sit in the far back, and sit sort of sideways. It's a great tour and you want to optimize what everyone is "getting" from the information being offered!

This was the perfect way for two seniors to explore Bisbee! My husband and I are in our 70’s and walking long distances or on uneven surfaces is a challenge. Hopping in the city cart with our guide, John, was the way to go! John was very knowledgeable and friendly and we will recommend this tour to anyone who has interest in visiting Bisbee.

It was a wonderful guided tour around the town with stops to point out places of interest. Our guide was knowledgeable and caring to my Mom's handicap needs. Thos was a perfect way for her to be able to see things in a town that is not accessible in many ways. Thoroughly enjoyed this!

Tour guide was awesome - she absolutely made the tour! Friendly, good natured and unbelievably knowledgeable. The day was rainy on and off but she made the experience so fun and was constantly checking to make sure we were ok given the rain (and we were indeed always ok). Golf cart is the perfect way to travel in Bisbee as so many of the streets are super narrow. Keep your seat belt on as it’s also a bit bumpy, but what a hoot! Also, great way to start a visit to this amazing town. Our guide gave us great insights about the town history and development but also about current issues and local businesses- including great options for dinner (we had a fantastic dinner at one of her recommendations, the Table). Our group of 4 all raved about the tour, and we are still talking about how much we enjoyed it days later.

Good way to get a general review of Bisbee. The city is hilly so it is unlikely that we have tried to walk to tour the town. The tour guide didn’t possess any deep knowledge of Bisbee and there were a few clear inaccuracies. We would have appreciated a few stories

Far superior to previous golf cart tours I have had. When friends come to visit us in Tucson we make a day trip to Bisbee. I have had at least 4 golf cart tours. This one was the best because we learned more about the history and visited more neighborhoods

Great people make a great tour! Friendly staff fit us in at the end of the day when no one else would. Our guide was knowledgeable, friendly, and attentive to one of our group who had some special medical needs. It’s a great way to see Bisbee.

It seemed like a private tour with just two of us in John’s golf cart. He shared so much information and fielded our non stop questions with patience and good humor. What a rich introduction to a fascinating town.
