There are some steep steps down into the slot canyon, but handrails are on both sides. Take a tour closer to the middle if the day when the sun is overhead the openings in the canyon. The lower canyon tour is preferable.

Be in decent shape, some steep metal stairs. Great experience. Our guide did a great job. I would highly recommend this experience.
Antelope Canyon is absolutely stunning and I would recommend the opportunity to experience it. My only wish is that the tours were not run so close together. It would be nice to be able to stop for a bit and just take in this natural wonder. With the back to back tours moving through, the guides need to be sure that their groups continue to move through at a steady pace.
What an incredible place! The canyon’s natural colors, curves, and rock formations are absolutely breathtaking. Our guide, Lamor, Ken’s son, was excellent. He shared so many interesting details and stories about the canyon, making the experience even more memorable. We were a small group of just seven people, and the tour lasted about an hour. My only disappointment was that everything felt a little rushed. It seemed like every group was being hurried along, and I really wish we had more time to stop, admire the beauty, and take it all in. This is such a spectacular place that one hour just doesn't feel like enough! Overall, highly recommended, especially with Lamor as your guide!
Our trip to the lower antelope canyon got canceled due to flooding so we were rebooked on a different tour without being told it was a different tour operator. The parts of the canyon we were taken to were flooded and my husband had to help pull 5 people out of a large puddle that had collected along the trail. The tour itself was confusing because no one knew who their guide was, and only one guide went down into the canyon. The person who drove us down to the canyon in a wagon did not go with us to the flooded parts and we felt very much on our own. The operator gave us a 50% refund ultimately, but originally only agreed to 30%. I’ve done numerous Viator tours but this was the first time I’ve been disappointed.
Our family had such a wonderful experience exploring Lower Antelope Canyon! We learned that this time of year is when tours start to slow down, and honestly, we couldn't have picked a better time to visit. The cooler weather and smaller crowds made the experience even more enjoyable! Our tour guide, Chris B., was absolutely fantastic! He was friendly, knowledgeable, and went above and beyond to make sure everyone had a great experience. He knew all the best photo spots, recommended the perfect camera filters to capture the canyon's beautiful colors, and even offered to take pictures so families could actually be in the photos together instead of having someone stuck behind the camera! The canyon itself is breathtaking, but having such a great guide made the experience even more memorable. If you're planning a visit, we highly recommend going during the slower season and asking for Chris B. You won't be disappointed!
Amazing experience. One of the most beautiful places I've ever seen. Our guide Shoshanna was very knowledgeable. She made sure everyone on the tour was comfortable. Highly recommend
Tour guide - Fiona was very kind to explain all necessary information each spot at lower antelope and guided us how to take the best photographs thankfully. She helped us to make the best memories down there. Thank you!
Worth the time and expense. Excellent experience. Make sure you’re physically able to use steep stairs.
We absolutely loved the experience!! Kenny was a great guide! I read in some reviews beforehand that people complained about not having enough time to take pictures and that they were rushed through the canyon. I can not agree with that, we had more than enough time to take pictures and Kenny even took some for us of the best known spots. The canyon is breathtaking and a once in a lifetime experience. We did think the prices are a little high, but it was absolutely worth it.
We got rescheduled 5 times due to the flash flood warnings which I understand is not their fault but after telling us it would be open Fri then canceling then saying sat would work and made a tour for 1pm I got a text at 10 pm the night before saying that they're not opening the lower level but if we wanted to pay more we could do the upper level just seem very disorganized and since it was them canceling on us I would think they would have upgraded us at no cost since it was a very significant amount of money already it was the main reason we came from Indiana to go to AZ
My family and I drove four hours to Antelope Canyon, only to be informed upon arrival that our tour had been canceled. We never received any notification about the cancellation. When I called, the representatives were rude and seemed uninterested in helping us reschedule or providing information about the activity. We were told that our refund would be processed by 3 p.m. that same day. However, it has now been two days, and we still have not received our refund. This experience was extremely disappointing, and I would appreciate an immediate update regarding the status of my refund.
Tour with full battery, many many many photos opportunities. Tour guide Alisha was great, lots of stories during tour.
Beware our tour was canceled night before due to flooding, we were given the option to pick a different tour, thinking it would be just a different time not a whole new tour company. Spent 4 hours driving out there arrived at Mystic antelope, waited 10 minutes no one there. Random lady shows up doesn’t ask for our tour info, but immediately tells us we have to pay fees. A family pulled up and was charged significantly less than what we were charged for our original tour. She has us drive a utv 15mins into the desert alone, didn’t clearly provide us instructions, information, or history of what we were doing. Get to the canyon and it’s nowhere near what we booked very small and only spent max 20mins in the canyon. Very disappointed
Viator did not notify or activity cancellation. Ken’s Tours sent out notifications! If you’re booking an activity; I recommend avoiding using a 3rd party. I drove 4 hrs to the Antelope Canyon.
We had a great time on the tour! Everything was enjoyable, and it was a wonderful experience. I would definitely recommend this tour to others!
Great tour and excellent guide! The sights are amazing and the best part is to experience it. I don’t know what else to put for a hundred word.
Awesome experience - wasn’t rushed and our guide was extremely helpful and showed us where to take the best pix!!
Wonderful guided tour with Lamar! This was such a wonderful experience! Beautiful slot canyon! Beautiful photos!
Ryan /Ken’s tours was a great guide, he gave us a lot of history of the canyon and the surrounding area. He answered all of our questions and helped us take some spectacular photos..
The Lower Antelope Canyon tour was phenomenal!!! The check in process was simple. We arrived earlier than our scheduled time so they asked us if we wanted to keep our selected time, or join the next available time. So we took the Sooner tour. Our tour guide (Sorry, I cannot remember her name, Group 2 @ 09:30, 10/20/2026 - she had Buddy Holly glasses and super smart and helpful) was a dream. She guided us to the best pictures and answered all of our questions. It was my wife’s 50th birthday and what a way to spend it. We had a great time!!! Thank you Ken’s Tours.
Wow we were pleasantly surprised by the beautiful sights down below in the Canyon. Fiona was our guide and did a great job pointing out all the different unique sights. FYI, you can book direct with Ken’s tours when you get there and save $! They also informed us we could drive across the street to book upper canyon and save on the Navaho fee!
It was wonderful and worth going through. The guide was great and very knowledgeable. The canyon was beautiful.
Amazing natural beauty. Guide helpful with getting great photos. Be prepared for climbing up and down stairs narrow stairwells.
We had a great experience! Our tour was rescheduled due to stormy weather, but rebooking was smooth and easy. On the day of the tour, check-in was quick and simple. We were divided into groups and our guide, Justin, was excellent. He kept the tour fun and informative and he even took photos for us. The pace felt a little rushed at times, but in the end we saw a lot. Justin delighted us by playing the flute to demonstrate the acoustics of the space, which was a wonderful touch. Overall, it was a really fun experience!
Antelope Canyon is well worth the money! It’s an otherworldly place. The guide experience was great and a smaller group felt comfortable and personal.
Breathtaking views of some of mother nature’s best work. So many colors and formations. Definitely a bucket list experience.
Our guide was very friendly and recommended great photo ops. We don’t believe in evolution so we had to take that part of the tour with a grain of salt.
It is an extraordinary experience , not too arduous and well worth the effort to get to it (I drove 2,000 miles to see it)
We were in G4 group. The guide didn’t tell us anything about the place and when asking questions gave one word answers and was mostly on his phone. Whereas other guides were so much more informative and helpful. It felt more like a self walk tour and the guide just showed us where to go. Won’t recommend!
Not only was it beautiful but learning some of the history was great. I was able to take beautiful pictures, memories that’ll last forever.
Absolutely great tour. James from Ken’s tours was brilliant. I felt safe and looked after throughout. And he took some great pictures for us. He pointed out lots of interesting shapes and information about the rock formation. I’d do this again in a heartbeat!
Nice little walk, nice guide, really enjoyed it with my teenagers. Took great pictures, bringing back memories
Cancelled- send refund Hard to contact Viator - tough to find tickets on the Viator site or get any info
This tour was a bucket list activity for me. The tour operator did a great job of keeping everything organized and everyone is very knowledgeable. Nothing negative to say.
Unfreaking believable! One of the best experiences I have ever had. Gorgeous canyon with great guide.
Horrible! I messaged them everyday for a week asking if they will be open due to the weather being predicted to rain/ be windy. even the night before they said yes. Then after I get there I was told it’s cancelled. Mind you it’s a 5 hour drive for me to get there! I was devastated. They didn’t even email me. The in person tour guide said 3rd party sites like TripAdvisor etc give their guests later notice compared to if u buy the tickets from the actual website, then u would’ve known on time. They tried to charge me all over again for a diff type of tour (originally had lower antelope) but now charging me 135 to do the upper rather than letting me do it or free after what they put me through.
Lower Antelope Canyon is very beautiful and a must see. Jerry was a friendly and knowledgeable guide who also helped us take great pictures
Beautiful experience and great tour guide . Ken’s Tour made it streamlined tour so easy to get through with crowds
This canyon is just an amazing experience. Every turn led to another worthy picture. It's unexpected that so much beauty could be under such normal looking sandstone.
Drove over 3 hours away (6+ hours round trip) for the trip to be cancelled 20 minutes before due to weather and it never rained. If you are going to cancel a trip you need to cancel well in advance
It was beautiful. Our tour guide Janelle M. was great. She gave us a lot of history regarding the location. She took the time to ensure everyone was capturing the canyon beauty. It was our favorite activity during our vacation. Thank you.
THE WORST EXPERIENCE EVER! Tour Guide Always Keep Pushing Groups The Gap Between Groups Is Extremely Short!!! If You Want A Zero Star Experience, Plz Come Without Any Hesitation!!!
Great experience. Stairs were a little difficult with the incline but not bad for adults. Very pretty and great tour guides. There’s a cafe inside the location as well with great food.
We arrived early and were able to be placed with an earlier group. Our tour guide, Adain, was excellent. The Slot Canyon was amazing. We highly recommend this tour experience.
Our Antelope Canyon adventure with Ken’s was unforgettable! Janelle M’s kindness, gentle spirit, and patience made our visit. She shared fascinating information and helped me capture incredible iPhone photos like a photographer! There are quite a few steps, but our ten-year-old did fantastic. Janelle made this an absolutely incredible adventure!
It was spectacular! I definitely recommend it! It’s a tour that is well worth it and will always remember it.
It was a great, hour long tour of this incredible slot canyon. I would recommend it to anyone and everyone
Visiting Lower Antelope Canyon was one of the highlights of my Arizona trip! The canyon was absolutely breathtaking, and seeing the beautiful rock formations and colors in person was an unforgettable experience. The tour was fun, informative, and definitely worth every penny. There were so many amazing photo opportunities! I highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Arizona. It’s something everyone should experience at least once!
The tour was set to start at 2pm. That’s the time I reserved. I arrived at 1:30pm. The tour was already delayed, running behind schedule. I had to wait until 3-3:15pm for my 2pm tour. This delay messed up my itinerary, which prevented me from visiting other places I had planned for the day. However, the activity was well worth the visit. Come with extra time and with no rush as the times you reserve for your tour is actually not precise.
